"Oh no! The turnip wine," Hermione said, "I need to run back to the kitchen!"

"Just take your time, It's not like I'm standing in a pile of ashes or anything," Fred teased her as she ran out the living room.

A week had passed since Fred and Hermione had admitted their feelings to each other. They weren't exactly an official couple but they were definitely trying things out. They had decided to go slow as neither of them wanted to rush into anything and ruin the perfect thing they had going on. So far, Hermione had come to Fred's flat every day after work, and they had spent their evenings snogging on the sofa with the radio playing in the background. After Hermione had felt his erection against her thighs every night for almost a week, he had finally decided to do something about it last night and had carried her to his bedroom.

Hermione couldn't help but smile as memories from last night flodded her mind, making her cheeks flush, she grabbed the large bottle of Mrs. Weasley's favourite wine and hurried back to Fred who was waiting for her in the fireplace.

"Nervous?" he asked Hermione when she came in to view.

"A bit..." she admitted.

"Don't be. They're going to be thrilled!"

"That's exactly why I'm nervous. Your mum is going to smother us. We're not even half as excited about this as she is going to be."

They hadn't told Mr. and Mrs. Weasley anything yet but Fred had insisted that they should stop by the Burrow for dinner so they could tell them that he would be staying in London for a while. That he was staying because of Hermione.

Fred laughed a hearty laugh, "yeah. I know. She's going to be insufferable when we tell her that we're trying things out."

Hermione let out a groan, dreading the reaction.

"Hey, I just realised something!" Fred interrupted her.

"Yes?"

"Remember that night on the stairs? My mum bet my dad that we would announce our romance in a near future."

"Ugh! I can't believe even they realised before we did."

Fred laughed at her outburst and said, "I know. It's bad enough that George knew. He's been insufferable all week! Like you wouldn't believe!"

"He pushed us together," Hermione smiled, "wouldn't you say that a few days of teasing was worth it?"

"Definitely! Come on, love. Let's go," Fred smiled and sent her a wink before he grabbed a handful of the glittery powder bellowing "the Burrow!"

Hermione watched him disappear in the green flames and eagerly grabbed a handful of the powder herself ready to follow him anywhere. Right before she exclaimed her destination, she closed her eyes and gave out a contempt sigh. All was good.
