Imagine having a family with Kai

Marrying Kai was one the best decisions you ever made during your 31 years on this Earth. Even though you had your ups and downs, you loved Kai, and he loved you. You also made him a better person. He was no longer the murderous psychopath everybody knew him as.

In fact, he was the father of your daughter, and of the baby in your stomach. Kai was the perfect husband, especially while you were pregnant. He offered to do all of the housework, but let you do it if you felt like it. He also was a great father to Y/d/n (Your daughter's name).

It was 2 in the morning, when you flipped over in bed and expected to be met with your husband, but instead there was just an empty spot where he was supposed to be. You groaned when you realized where he had went. He did this all the time. Y/d/n would wake up and want cookies at the weirdest hours and Kai wouldn't say no to her and would just go make the cookies with her.

You forced yourself to get up out of bed, before going down the stairs. As you walked you heard voices come from the kitchen.

"Is that good?" Kai asked, taking a bite of cookie dough as your daughter chewed hers. She was sitting up on the counter and Kai was standing beside her.

"Yup," she said, "It's delicious." She reached her hand into the bowl and took another clump, before putting it in her mouth. Her eyes trailed to you, standing a few feet away, tapping your first impatiently, "Uh oh." Kai's eyes moved to where his daughter was looking, and when he saw you he smiled.

"Y/n! Hey baby!" He said, walking over and quickly kissing you on the lips, before dragging you over to the counter. He shoved some cookie dough in your mouth, before you could object.

"Is it good, mommy?" Your daughter asked, and you nodded.

"Yes, it's delicious sweetheart," you said, before turning to Kai, "But why are you up at 2 in the morning making cookies?"

"Y/d/n wanted some," Kai explained, as your daughter hopped down from the counter.

"Yeah!" She exclaimed, walking over the fridge and pulling out a juice pouch. She stuck the straw in before going back over to you and Kai. She climbed up the step stool that sat near the counter and returned to her spot.

"Okay, well, finish making your cookies, but then it's bed time," you warned them, going to turn around and leave.

"Wait, Y/n, don't go. Y/d/n wants you to stay and make cookies," Kai said, before looking at his daughter, "Right, Y/d/n. Don't you want mommy to stay?"

"No, not really," your daughter replied, causing you to roll your eyes and look at Kai.

"See, she said no. Besides it's late Kai, me and the baby need our rest," you said.

"Please, Y/n, just stay a bit longer," he said, and you were about to say no, before he added on, "For me?"

"Fine," you said, and he smiled, before the oven beeped. He let go of your hand and took the cookies out of the oven and set them on the counter. You walked over to grab another pan out so you could put another batch in, but your arm hit the hot pan, causing you to cry out. Kai frowned as you cursed under your breath, examining the burn on your arm.

"Let me see," Kai said, taking your arm and lightly running his fingers over the burn.

"Ow, don't touch it," you said, going to pull your arm away, but Kai put his whole hand over it and mumbled some words. Soon the pain was gone and so was the burn.

"There we go, good as new!" Kai exclaimed, letting go, before turning around, "Now how about I get the pan." He got the pan and sat it on the counter. Him, you, and Y/d/n molded the soft dough into balls and placed them on the pan before putting them into the oven. The other cookies were cool, and you and Kai watched as Y/d/n bit into one. Kai had his arms rested around you.

He picked up an arm to take a cookie from the pan, he took a bite, resulting in half the cookie being gone. He held the remainder to your lips and let you bite into it. Kai went back to his arm rested around your waist as you chewed up your cookie.

"I love you, Y/n," Kai whispered in your ear.

"I love you too, Kai," you replied, smiling.
