The Next Day Monday Night Raw.
"I promised myself if I won the Royal Rumble I was not gonna do it. No matter what I was not gonna do it! But this is a once in a life time shot so I gotta point at the sign man." Seth said standing in the ring during Monday Night Raw.
The crowd was cheering for Seth. Kate smiled as she sat ring side in the time keepers area watching her husband standing there so proud of him. He was then interrupted by Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar.
"This should be the easiest decision of your life. It's so easy to make choices when you really don't have any options. And you Seth Rollins really one have one option for Wrestlemania. That option is to go to Wrestlemania and challenge for the championship against Daniel Bryan. HEY don't boo me this is for your man here Seth Rollins' own good. You have to admit you will have a great match. You'll put on a sports entertainment clinic. Because the last think you, your family or anyone else on this earth wants to do is get into a fight with the BEAST BROCK LESNAR!"
"I beat you once at Wrestlemania I will do it again!" Seth said as he was standing face to face with the beast. "History is going to repeat it's self this year!"
Seth didn't even hesitated as he through the first punch Brock's way. Then he was on the attack he kicked him several times in the mid section of his body. When he bounced off the ring ropes Brock caught him in mid air and with ease gave him an F5. Then picked him up again and delivered the second F5.
With each F5 Kate cringed at every F5. She was now standing in the time keepers area as the officials were trying to get in the ring but Brock was staring them down as he gave Seth another F5. He grabbed the title and held it in the air as Seth was coughing and sat up against the ring ropes.
"LESNAR! Is that ALL YOU GOT! Is that all you got huh?" Seth yelled to the beast.
"Damn it Seth." Kate said softly.
"Never gets any easier huh?" Chris said.
"No it doesn't if anything it's worse now because we have the kids." She admitted as Brock went to attack her husband once again giving him several more F5s.
Once Raw went off the air Kate and one of the officials got in the ring. She held Seth's hand.
"Hey babe looks like you were hit by a truck?" She whispered.
"A truck named Brock." He groaned as they slowly helped him stand up as he stared at the sign for a few seconds.
Once they got backstage Dr. Chris start to do his evaluation on him. Kate was by his side.
"Feeling light headed? Any dizziness?" Kate asked.
"Kate I can handle this." Dr. Chris said with a smile.
"I know sorry." She said looking at Seth. "Well?"
"No just feel a little dazed but I am fine. No permit damage done." Seth said.
"How is your back? Do your ribs hurt?" Kate asked again. As the Doctor looked at her.
"Kate why don't you help Morgan take these medical tubs to the truck." He asked.
"You are just trying to get rid of aren't you?" She asked giving him a stern look.
"Yes." Dr. Chris said checking on Seth again.
"Nice try. But I will be quiet. Wait one more thing you really had to point at the sigh?" She joked as she watched as he finished the evaluation.
"One in a life time man." He said as the doctor finished the evaluation.
"Seth you are gonna be swore but nothing is broken or torn. Just take it easy the next 24 hours and if you need to just ice up." Chris said.
"Oh I will make sure he takes it easy." Kate said as she looked at Seth.
"My wife is a little over protective." He smiled as she kissed him.
"Damn right I am. Now let's get out of here." She smiled.
After Seth showered and changed his clothes they gathered their stuff and headed out to the car. Kate was driving them back to the hotel as Seth was on his phone.
"Tweeting to your fans?" She asked glancing over at him.
"No. Roman said he saw the show and wanted to know how I was."
Kate just nodded.
"It's nice you two are staying so close since he went to Smackdown." Kate said.
"Oh yeah. Still weird not having Moxley around. Since he took his ball and ran home." Seth said.
"Seth you know that's not how it went down. You seemed OK with him leaving." Kate reminded.
"Yeah well he's in AEW and New Japan now." He stated.
"So? He's living his best life and he's happy. He's doing what he loves just in a different company."
Seth just nodded as he continued to text.
A few days later.
Kate had ran a few errands around town and cleaned up the house a little bit while Seth had the kids at Black and Brave.
"I gets you Jax!" Ella said running around the gym chasing her little brother.
"Nooooo!" Jaxon squealed in excitement as he was running away from his sister.
As she giggled running after her him as she almost caught him he tripped over one of the weights that was laying on the ground. As he hit the ground he started crying.
"Shit!" Seth said putting down his phone rushing over and scooping up his son.
"Come here buddy you're alright." Seth said.
"owiieee Daddda." Jaxon sniffled barring his head into Seth's chest.
"I torry." Ella said as she started crying too.
"It's not your fault sweetie. It was an accident. But this is why I keep telling you not to run in the gym." Seth said and he noticed a little blood on his shirt. "Shit little dude let me look at you." Seth said as he looked at Jaxon trying to see where he was bleeding from. When he noticed the little scrape above his eye.
He then carried him over to where he had the first aide kit. Jaxon was still crying as Seth cleaned it off.
"Dude everything OK stop killing my god son." Mark joked.
"He fell. He'll be fine. He just got this narly cut above his eye." Seth said.
"You're a tough little man." Mark said patting his back. "Your dad on the other he is a dead man." He chuckled as he made a head motion towards the door as Kate was coming in.
"What happened? My sweet boy are you ok?" She asked checking out his head.
"Owie." He sniffled.
"Aww come here." Kate said scooping him up as Ella sniffled and hung on to her moms leg. "Sweet heart it's OK. Seth what the hell happened?" She asked eyeing her husband.
"It was an accident. I was doing something in the office and Ella started chasing him and he tripped over a weight." Seth said rubbing Jaxon's back.
"Seth you know you need to watch them better." She said.
"I know it wasn't my damn fault Kate." He snapped.
"Hey darlin' it's alright. I didn't mean to say it was your fault." Kate said. "You alright?"
"Yeah fine. Can you just take the kids home before class?" He asked.
"Of course. We'll see you and home for dinner." She said kissing him softly. "I love you."
"Love you too. Bye kiddos I will see you at home." Seth said to the kids.
"Bye bye Daddda." Jaxon waved as Kate was getting his coat on.
"Noooo! Me want to stay here Daddy it fun." Ella said.
"I know princess. But Daddy has work to do. You go home with Momma." Seth said helping Ella in her coat.
"Ohtay." She said taking Kate's hand.
"I am gonna need your help with dinner." She said to Ella.
Ella smiled as they walked out of the gym and Seth went back to his phone.
Several hours later.
Kate and made dinner and waited for Seth to get home but he was a little later than normal and the kids were getting cranky so she fed them. Then gave them their baths and put them to bed. She had cleaned up the kitchen and made two plates of food to keep warm for her and Seth. While she waited she was talking with her older sister Kelly.
"So he's been acting weird?" Her sister asked.
"Not like weird weird but just he's been on his phone a lot lately. Usually he loves having the kids at the gym but he asked me to take them today. I get it they are more active now so it's harder for him to do his job. But I just have an odd feeling." Kate admitted.
"Like what?"
"I don't know I am being paranoid. Seth loves me and our kids more than anything. He wouldn't do anything to hurt us."
"Like cheat on you?" Kelly questioned.
"I didn't say that." Kate stated.
"You didn't have too. Some men can't handle the life they think they wanted." She told her.
"Kelly after all Seth and I have been through over the last 4 years. He wouldn't cheat on me."
"I hope you're right. Have you looked at his phone or computer?" Kelly asked.
"No and I don't need to Kelly. I trust my husband." She said as she heard Seth coming in the door. "Hey I gotta go Seth is him. Love ya." She said hanging up the phone.
As Seth came in looking a little tired as he went to the fridge and grabbed a water.
"Hey babe you hungry? I saved us some dinner." She said.
"Nah I am beat. It was a long class then Mark and I went over the t shirt orders. We ordered take out." He told her as he glanced at his phone then took another drink of water.
"Oh OK. Well the kids are already in bed." She smiled.
"Yeah? I'll peak in on them. How is Jaxon's head? Poor guy I felt horrible. I should have been watching him better." Seth told her.
"He's fine. Just a little scrape. It wont scare. It's not your fault. I over reacted so I am sorry. He's a little boy he's gonna get hurt." She said.
"Yeah but still I'll be better at making sure the gym is cleaned up." He said. "I am gonna jump in the shower and head to bed. I have an earlier morning flight."
"Tomorrow?" Kate questioned.
"Yeah. Vince called and asked if I could do press and interviews from my Rumble win. Over the next few days. So I changed my flight."
"Oh did you want me to go with you? I am sure I can get Aspen to watch the kids?" She offered.
"No. You stay home baby I know the kids love it when you are home. I'll just see you Sunday at the live event. That's your next scheduled day to work right?" He asked.
"Yes Sunday's Raw live event. Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?" She said.
"Nah it's all good baby. You stay home with the kids and we will see each other Sunday. We can grab dinner after the live event." He said leaning into kiss her softy.
"Sounds like a plan." She nodded in agreement. "I love you."
"I love you too." He said as he went up stairs and jumped in the shower.
Kate cleaned up the kitchen the rest of the way then went up stairs. She peaked in on both the kids who were sound sleep in their beds. She then went into the bedroom and noticed Seth's phone on the night stand. She picked up as she was going to look at it.
"No Kate. Don't look you can trust him." She said putting the phone back down on the night stand.
