Sunday Evening.
"How does that feel Claudio?" Kate asked him as she was checking his shoulder and putting on more muscle tape.
"Feels good. Thanks. I can't believe how swore it feels after one match." He said moving his shoulder in a circle motion.
"Claudio you just got back a month ago after having surgery. It will take time besides it can't feel as bad as getting your teeth knocked up in your face by Seth and Mox." She said with a grin.
"I am never gonna live that down am I?" He chuckled.
"It made for one bloody night. Mox was impressed and Seth asked me so many questions about it." Kate said as she was taking off her gloves.
When the trainer room door opened and Becky came in.
"Hey Morgan..." She said as she stopped to see Kate standing there. "Kate. You're here."
"I am here, I work here. HI Becky." She giggled.
Becky just stood there a moment and didn't say anything.
"Did you need something?" Kate asked.
"No I am good. Thanks." Becky said quickly leaving the trainers room.
"Well that was a little weird." Kate stated as she was putting away a few medical supplies.
"More than a little weird." Claudio stated.
After the show Kate made sure the trainers room was all clean and sanitized. She grabbed her stuff and waited for Seth to come out of the locker room. It wasn't unusual for Seth to be the last one out of the locker room or the gym he was on the slower side but over the course of their marriage it was something she had gotten use to. While she waited she called her mother in law to check in on the kids. Holly told her they were doing good and they went to sleep with out a trouble. But Ella didn't want to eat her peas. That made Kate laugh because as sweet as Ella could be her little three year old self was getting a little sassy. Seth came out of the locker room freshly showered with his bags.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Of course darlin'." She smiled as they headed out to the rental car.
Seth popped the truck and slide their bags in.
"Want me to drive?" She asked. "I know you must be exhausted."
"Nah I'll drive. I'm good." Seth said as they got into the car and headed to the next town.
"I called your mom to check in on the kids." Kate told him.
"How are they? Did they give her any trouble?" He asked glancing over at her then his eyes back on the road.
"They are good sleeping now. I guess Ella didn't want to eat her peas and Jaxon was a little hard to put down to bed." She explained.
Seth chuckled. "Ella is something else lately. She's using that word no an awful lot."
"And I wonder whose fault that would be? Someone I wont say who but I married him likes to spoil her." She smiled taking his hand.
"I wonder who that could be? You married him huh?"
"I did he stole my heart and I never looked back. But he does tend to spoil our daughter a lot."
"I don't spoil her. I am stern with her." Seth said.
Kate couldn't help but laugh. "Really? You can say no to her?"
"Yes I can when I need to."
"Right keep telling yourself that Rollins." She giggled.
As Seth's phone went off he quickly let go of her hand and took the phone and glanced at it.
"Darlin' would you like me to answer that? You know I don't like it when you text and drive." She said glancing over at him.
"I know. It was just one message now we're good." He said as he put his phone in the drivers door not in the cup holder like normal.
"OK sorry. You know how I get on these long drives."
"It's fine not a huge deal. Hey you hungry?" He asked.
"I am! Where were we doing to dinner?" She smiled.
"Umm where do you want to go? We are on the west coast so we could do In and out." Seth said eyes on the road.
"Oh. I thought you had a plan. We can go to In and Out." Kate said moving around to get more comfortable in her seat.
"Plan was I suppose to have plan?" He asked.
"No it's fine I just thought you said something when we talked the other." She said. "In and Out is fine."
Seth nodded as they made small talk he talked about his up coming feud with Brock going into Mania and how the next several months would be none stop for them.
"Did you want to take the kids to Mania?" He asked pulling into the drive thru.
"I thought so I think it would be fun for them. I even talked to Chris and Vince about letting me be ring side with them for the match." Kate said sound so proud of him.
"Oh. Think Jaxon is old enough?" Seth asked.
"Do you not want them there? I mean you won the Royal Rumble and are main eventing Mania. I thought we could ask your mom to bring them and maybe get them a suit so they could nap. But I guess it's up to you. I just thought you'd want us all there for your big moment." She said.
"We can do the suit with Mike. It's still a few weeks away we can talk about it." Seth said as he ordered their food and handed it to Kate. She looked in the bag to make sure it was all there.
"Two double doubles must be cheat day." She teased handing him one.
"It's a little treat why not." He smiled.
Kate giggled still loving his smile as they started eating.
"Hmm this is good." Kate said taking a big bite of her burger. "Remember when I was pregnant with Jaxon all I wanted was pickles."
"And peanut butter everything." Seth chuckled. "I mean from ice cream to cookies to the candy. The personal favorite is you just eating it out of the jar with a spoon."
"What can I say peanut butter just sounded good. You know that does sound good." She smiled taking a sip of her drink.
"Wait you're not pregnant are you?" He asked nervously.
"What? No not at all. I just remembering when I was with Jaxon." She said confused.
"Oh good. I mean that's the last thing we need right now is another kid. Not to mention how hard Jaxon's pregnancy and labor was for you." He said.
"I know I was there I lived it too. So calm down I'm not pregnant. But darling what is going on with you?" She asked even more confused.
"Nothing is going on with me. I am just tired and it's nothing." He stated a bit defensive.
"Seth you know I love you no matter what. I want you to be able to talk to me. To tell me anything what ever is bothering we. We've been through a lot over the almost 5 years now. So please don't start to shut me out. We are in this together always." She said leaning over kissing his cheek.
"I do love you and our kids so much. I hope you know that." Seth said taking her hand and kissing it.
"I do know that with my whole heart I know you love me and the kids. I love you too so much you are the love of my life you showed me what it truly meant to be loved."
Seth leaned in and gave her a sweet kiss on the lips.
The next night – Monday Night Raw.
"I took six F5's and I am still here. I took six F5's and I am still standing. And if I can stand then I can fight. If I can fight then I can stomp. If I can stomp then I can then I can beat Brock Lesnar. If Wrestlemania is the last time I ever step foot in a WWE ring then hell I am gonna give it everything I've got. You know what Paul and even Brock doesn't seem to understand is that I don't care. Brock Lesnar has held this industry the industry that I love more than anything in this world he has held it hostage for two long years. And I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT ANY MORE! So I do not care if Wrestlemania is a suicide mission because I will be that martyr. I will be that martyr you listening Paul! I will sacrifice everything. I will sacrifice my body. I will sacrifice my heart. I will sell my soul to the devil. I will burn in hell if it means Brock Lesnar does not leave Wrestlemania as the Universal Champion. That is not a prediction that is a spoiler." Seth Rollins said standing in the middle of the ring giving his promo.
Kate watched his promo from backstage on the monitor.
"That was a hell of promo." Roman said.
"Hey Rome. Been awhile how is that Smackdown life?" Kate asked.
"It's good thinking it's time I went after that WWE title again."
"Good you deserve it."
"Thanks. Looks like Seth is on fire lately. Rumble winner and going after Brock." Roman said.
"Yeah." Kate said watching the screen.
"Alright what's up?" He asked.
"Nothing it's nothing." She said.
"I think you forget Kit I've been around I know you and Seth well. Maybe not as good as Mox did but I do. So I know somethings up."
"I just hate the fact he is fight Brock again. We all know Brock is a beast and when he gets carried away things can go wrong. I don't want Seth to get hurt."
"Seth's got this we've been doing this a long time. He knows how Brock is." Roman said as he looked at Kate again. "Is that it?"
"For now I just have this weird feeling." She admitted to him.
"Like what kind of feeling?" Roman asked.
"I don't know he's just been acting weird so it's giving me an odd vibe."
"All I can say is just talk to him. That is what me and G do. Just talk even if you don't like what he says honesty is better than the unknown especially when there are kids involved."
"Thanks Rome. I do miss you around here. With out you or Mox around it's boring." She smiled.
"What no one hiding your medical supplies or putting odd things in your bag or rental car?" He chuckled.
"Nope. Funny how all that stopped once Mox left and you went to Smackdown." She chuckled as she glanced over and saw Seth was now back stage talking to Becky.
"That's new." Roman said.
"Yeah she's been doing cross fit with him a lot lately." Kate said.
"Ah. I see."
"Yeah I tried to give it another go after I had Jaxon but my body just can't seem to handle it."
"Neither can my old ass." Roman chuckled.
"Hey babe thought you were in the trainers room." Seth said coming over to them kissing her cheek. "Hey Uce."
"Hey Bro." Roman said as they bro hugged.
"I was but wanted to check out your promo." She said.
"What did you think? Vince let me write some of it." He said proudly.
"You wrote some of it?" She asked.
"Vince actually let you use what you wrote?" Roman asked.
"Yes well most of it." He smiled proudly. "Becky helped I think it turned out great."
"It was good but as your wife it was a lot to hear when you said you'd sell your soul and burn in hell." She admitted.
"Kate it was a good promo. I need to go all in with this going into Mania you know that. I am gonna head to the shower." He said.
As Kate watched her husband walk away she called to him.
"I love you too!"
