Okay! Update on this stories status!

As I was writing the chapters up again, I got some more ideas and stuff to add so... I'm taking a week off (maybe a few extra days) to finish off this story. The reason I'm taking so long off, is because of work and school. Before, the story was already finished, only needed me to take a few minutes of my time to transfer the files and update.

And now I can't do that anymore because the files went 'poof' on me. So I'm taking a small leave of absence from this story, and in between work, school, breaks, and studying, I will be working on chapters. But I don't think I'll need more than a week (depending on school) with how determined I am.

Once I've finished the whole story again, I will return to my 5 chapters a day! In the mean time, I leave you with this chapter to kinda hold you off.

Wish me luck!

"Get out!" She screamed, her tears threatening to fall. But unlike with the girls, no matter how much her eyes burned, she refused to let them fall, not wanting him to see her cry. She wouldn't let him see just how broken she left.

Laxus glared down at her, giving out one last threatening growl before storming out. The door slammed behind him with enough force to shake her belongings, nearly breaking her door and dropping a few ornaments.

Heart shattered and her feelings hurt, Lucy sunk to the floor, finally letting her frustration and hurt out. Sobs racked through her small form as she held herself tight. A golden light engulfed the room, Loke appearing beside her. No banners or fireworks accompanied him this time. Fist clenched and teeth grounded together, narrowed eyes glared at the closed door. It took all the Zodiac Leaders will power not to go after the slayer and attack.

At the moment, Loke felt nothing but pure hatred towards the Lightning Dragon Slayer he called a guild mate. How dare he treat Lucy like some common whore! His mind raging, anger growing, the lion within wanting nothing more than to hunt the one who had hurt Lucy, he went to follow after Laxus.

And he would have followed after Laxus had a heart wrenching wail not left his princess. In seconds he was beside her, kneeling down to her level.

"Princess." He said before scooping Lucy up and depositing her on to the bed. Seeing the way she continued to cry, not even acknowledging his appearance, the loyal lion climbed on to the bed, curling around her sobbing form and purring, whispering words of comfort to his key holder.

"I've got you, Lucy. I've got you."
