Annabeth woke up early monday morning, in Richmond, Virginia, to the smell of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. '"Mom must be cooking breakfast" she thought, but then remembered that her Mom had been killed when she was seven. She got ready for school and headed downstairs to eat the breakfast her father must have made. When she got to the kitchen she was surprised to find out that she had company. Her friend Thalia was already at the table with a large helping of eggs, a few pieces of bacon, and a couple of pancakes. "Good morning Thalia," Annabeth greeted her friend and fellow born werewolf.

"Good morning Annabeth," Thalia greeted before asking, "Have you felt the effects of the full moon yet?"

"Not yet Thalia, that isn't until tomorrow isn't it?"

"No Annabeth it's tonight."

In the middle of the biology test my friend Hazel suddenly had a seizure. While the rest of the class were rushed out Thalia and I stayed behind to help keep her calm while the E. took care of her. "We're werewolves Hazel, and I think that turning you would bring an end to your seizures," Annabeth told her friend.

Hazel's POV

Right as Annabeth stopped speaking in a different language the second time I started to feel extremely odd.
