Equestria
A land of magic, music, equine, and most importantly, friendship. Everypony lives here in peace and prosperity, where threats here are destroyed or stopped by somepony, or the Mane 6 (mainly the Mane 6).
But, that is all about to change as titanical forces are about to rock Equestria that will turn it upside down.
On the west coast of Equestria, a few miles out at sea from Las Pegasus, a flash is seen from beneath the ocean.
Then, a thunderous roar is herd from underneath the ocean. It echoes throughout the ocean for miles, while faintly heard from above.
Meanwhile, up in the Frozen North near the Crystal Empire, a flash is seen from with in a huge glacier and yellow, electric energy radiates across its icy structure.
Back at the west coast, something moves through the water. It's night, so the giant ripples are faintly visible through the darkness. Suddenly, large spikes rise from the water. The spikes move towards the coast.
Then, all of a sudden, something breaches the water's surface and a mound of water bursts upwards as the spikes rise from the water.
As the water mound comes back down, it reveals the silhouette of what looks like a giant, lizard monster with giant dorsal spikes on its back, for which it is.
It stands upright with its massive tail dragging across the ground and is bipedal.
The dorsal spikes, or plates, are jagged in appearance, almost resembling lightning bolts. He has large hands with sharp claws and a maw full of jagged teeth, a huge bulk, and is taller and larger than a skyscraper, or a mountain.
But, this beast goes by another name...a name that scares everyone from where it comes from and a name that everybody knows, for this creature goes by the name of...Godzilla.
As the water leaves his bulk, his eyes shoot open, giving off an orange-red glow, symbolizing his hate and rage. Godzilla then leans his back and let's out a mighty roar that echoes for miles.
As his head comes back down, Godzilla looks around as he is in unfamiliar territory. So, with his massive feet, he stomps onto the beach and walks off to explore this new land.
Meanwhile, up in the sky lies the great city of Las Pegasus. The city is lit up by a dazzling array of beams and lights. Ponies sleep or gamble. But then, they're all interrupted by Godzilla's thunderous roar.
However, most of them ignore it like it is nothing. A pegasus is woken. Curious at what it was, he gets up and flies out of his house. He flies over the edge of the city's sky boundary and up a little ways.
He looks to see the silhouette of Godzilla as he stomps on. The pegasus looks in awe yet is terrified of the giant, mysterious creature in the distance.
So, like anypony would, he flew back into the city to tell somepony about it. He ended up flying into the large casino in the middle of the city. He landed in the middle of the casino.
"There's a giant monster a little distance away from the city!" he shouted. The ponies all looked at him weirdly before they all burst into laughter.
"I'm seriously not joking!" the pegasus said.
"Sir, I think you have had too much apple cider?" a guard asked.
"I haven't had any cider tonight. I'm serious. Did you not hear the roar? I was woken up from it" the pegasus asked.
"Do you think you could show us?" another guard asked, joining the other guard.
"Of course" the pegasus said. They flew out and the pegasus led them to the spot he saw it.
However, there was nothing in the distance.
"It was right out there. Now where'd it go?" the pegasus said.
"Are you sure you weren't seeing things?" the first guard asked.
"No, I'm not insane" the pegasus replied.
"Well, there's nothing there, so..." the second guard said. Then, the two guards headed back to the casino.
"I'm not crazy! I actually saw something" the pegasus shouted after the two guards. The pegasus was angry as it was gone, it couldn't just disappear like that.
But, knowing their is a giant monster now in Equestria, it could easily destroy any town with ease. And, remembering its course of direction, it was heading towards Ponyville.
Then, the pegasus knew who he had to talk to and also who would believe him. So, with the flap of his wings, he flew towards Ponyville
1 HOUR LATER
The pegasus flew as fast he could and finally arrived at Ponyville. He saw no sign of the giant monster on his way here, but he had to warn Ponyville before it arrived.
Soon, he arrived at his specific destination: Twilight's Castle. Though exhausted from his flight, he kept his energy up. He knocked on the door. Twilight was reading a book when she heard the knock at the door.
She put her book down and flew to the door. She opened it to see the pegasus standing there, catching his breath.
"Princess Twilight?" the pegasus asked.
"Yes, how may I help you?" Twilight asked.
"I came here to warn you that a giant monster is on its way here!" the pegasus said, freaking out.
"A giant monster? Where did you see it last" Twilight asked.
"Las Pegasus, which I'm from there, by the way" the pegasus said.
"Oh, you must be exhausted" Twilight said.
"Indeed. I came to you because your the only one who would believe me. The guards there didn't believe me, neither did anypony else" the pegasus said.
"Well then, would you like to come in?" Twilight asked.
"Yes, thank you" the pegasus said.
They reentered the library and he flew in and sat down.
"Please, make yourself at home. I was in the middle of reading a book" Twilight said.
"Ah" the pegasus replied.
"So, tell me about this monster" Twilight said, trying to be calm.
"Oh, it was huge, maybe as big as a skyscraper or mountain. I only saw its silhouette for it was so far away, but it was huge and had giant dorsal spikes on its back. Other than that, it looked kind of like a giant, upright, bipedal dragon-lizard monster" the pegasus finished.
Twilight pondered for a second.
"Well, I'll see what I can do" Twilight said.
"Thank you very much, princess. But, you better hurry for it could be here at any..." the pegasus said, but was interrupted by a giant explosion that shook the castle, followed by ponies screaming.
The two rushed outside to be completely dumbfounded and horrified. They were met by smoke rising from a few destroyed and burning houses. Ponies were running in horror.
"What's going on?" Twilight asked.
"I think that's your answer, princess" the pegasus said shakily. He pointed and she looked to see a giant silhouette among the smoke.
A giant, clawed foot came into view, stomping on the ground while also flattening another house. Then, the shadow reveled itself as the giant lizard monster: Godzilla!
Godzilla then let out a mighty roar that echoed throughout. He took another stomp and turned, destroying buildings with his tail as he turned. Starlight and Spike had woken up and rushed out to Twilight's side.
"What's going on?" Starlight asked. But, her question was answered as she saw Godzilla. Her eyes widened and a frown appeared across her face. Spike's eyes widened and his mouth dropped.
But then, the spikes at the end of Godzilla's tail started glowing blue. Then, the blue glow ran up Godzilla's back as his other dorsal spikes turned blue.
An eerie, charging sound was heard as his spikes radiated blue.
Before his larger dorsal spikes became blue, they flashed blue before becoming fully blue, with laser-like sounds being heard as the spikes flashed.
Then, with all of his dorsal spikes glowing blue, the inside of his mouth glows blue before energy gathers in his mouth.
Then, a concentrated energy beam shoots out of Godzilla's mouth, otherwise known as his atomic breath. Godzilla's atomic breath shoots forth, incinerating and decimating more houses.
It sweeps across Ponyville, leaving a trail of explosions and destruction. Then, the atomic breath dies down and Godzilla's dorsal spikes stop glowing blue.
The 4 just stare, completely dumbfounded by Godzilla's destruction. Godzilla, seeing his destruction, let's out a thunderous roar before he stomps away.
However, he's now heading in the direction of Canterlot. The group watch as he leaves, but before he completely leaves, he let's out another mighty roar before he continues on.
Ponyville is left in a fiery inferno, houses and buildings destroyed and on fire. Then, Twilight is interrupted by a voice.
"Twilight!" the voice calls.
Twilight and the others look to see her friends running towards them. Twilight was so happy to see them. They met in a big group hug.
"Are you guys okay?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah" Applejack replied.
"What was that thing!? It totally destroyed Ponyville" Rainbow said.
"I barely escaped my boutique!" Rarity said.
"Same with Sugar Cube Corner" Pinkie said.
"Where's everypony else?" Starlight asked.
"Me and Rainbow gathered them all up and they're staying at Sweet Apple Acres for the time being as it's luckily one of the few places that didn't get destroyed" Applejack said.
Twilight, Starlight, Spike, and the pegasus sighed in relief.
"Who's your friend?" Fluttershy asked Twilight.
"Oh, he came to warn me about this" Twilight said.
"But it seems I'm too late" the pegasus said in a sad tone.
"Oh, it's not your fault, sugar cube" Applejack said.
"But it is. If I had gotten here sooner, you guys could've prevented this. Now, Ponyville's destroyed" the pegasus said.
"Oh, don't worry about it" Rainbow said.
"Either way, darling, we couldn't defeat that monster as it's more powerful than anything I've ever seen" Rarity said.
"Also, Ponyville would've probably been destroyed anyway" Starlight said.
"But probably less than what it is now" the pegasus said.
"And now, it's heading towards Canterlot!" Spike said in panic.
"Alright, girls, we're going to Canterlot to warn the princesses and figure this out" Twilight said.
"But, how?" Fluttershy said.
"The Friendship Express isn't running and won't be running again until morning" Applejack said.
"Well then, we're just gonna have to go there...on hoof" Twilight said. Then, she turned to the pegasus.
"What's your name?" Twilight asked.
"Sky Blue" the pegasus replied.
"Well, thank you, Sky Blue, we're going to deal with this ourselves" Twilight said.
"Thank you so much. I'm gonna go back to Las Pegasus now and get a good night sleep. Are you sure you guys don't need help" Sky Blue said.
"Nope, we got all the help we need" Twilight said.
"Yeah, there's nothing we can't handle" Rainbow said.
"Okay, well, good luck" Sky Blue said before he flew back off towards Las Pegasus.
"Alright girls. Here's the plan. Me, Fluttershy, and Rainbow will fly towards Canterlot and warn the Princesses. You guys will head to Canterlot on foot, gather all the ponies, and prepare for a fight against that monster. We'll help you afterwards. Let's go!" Twilight said and the 6 headed for Canterlot.
Author's Note: Here it is! The story you've all been waiting for. I know the first chapter's a little cheesy, but I gave it my best.
