Sunday – Wrestlemania.

"Katie please talk to me." Seth said taking her hand.

Kate looked at him and moved her hand away. They were in the back seat of the SUV heading to the stadium.

"I love it when you have your hair up in that messy bun." He whispered moving close to her and nibbling her neck a bit.

"Seth stop." She stated as she looked at him. "I have nothing to say to you right now."

"Nothing at all?" He asked.

"Good luck against Brock and please don't get hurt."

"I've got this. I am gonna kick Brock's ass and get that title back." He said in that cocky Seth Rollins promo voice.

"I know you will." She said turning her head to look out the window.

"I hope you and the kids can be ring side." He said.

"To show the cameras our "perfect" life?" Kate asked using air quotes around the word perfect.

"No because I love you and the kids and want to share this amazing moment with my family." He told her leaning in to kiss her.

"You just don't get it do you?" She scoffed shaking her head.

"I know I screwed up and I said I was sorry. I just don't know what else to say." Seth told her.

"It's more than just saying you are sorry Seth. It's your actions and whether or not you really mean the words coming out of your mouth. Last night I went to the bathroom and was gone less than 10 minutes and you were talking to Becky. She is the last person I want you around but you don't seem to care how this affects me or our kids."

"She came up to me and wanted to talk. I told her it was not the time or the place."

Kate scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"What?" Seth asked looking at her.

"You should have said I am sorry I am here with my wife and I can't talk to you any more."

"We work together she is gonna be around."

"You don't need to remind me." Kate said. "Look I really didn't think I had to ask this but can you just not be around her? Not talk to her unless it's work related meaning unavoidable. Do you think you can do that for me?" Kate asked.

"Yeah I can do that." He told her. "Can you answer me something?"

"Yeah?" Kate asked turning in her seat to look at him.

"Where did you go last night?"

"I needed to clear my head and I grabbed something to eat." She stated.

"Alone?"

"No with Moxley if you must know. I don't hide things." Kate stated.

"Jon Moxley? You're serious?"

"I don't keep secretes. Yes Jon Moxley that bother you?" She asked looking him.

"Yeah what the fuck did he want? Why is he talking to you? We haven't heard much from him since Jax was born." Seth rambled as his jaw clenched a bit.

"He's in town for an indie event and wanted to check in to see how I was doing. He's my friend and I needed to get out for a bit so I met up and we talked."

"What did you talk about?"

"Do I ask you what you and Becky talked about?"

Seth rolled his eyes. "I just don't think it's a good idea for you to be seen around with Moxley."

"Well you're seen with Becky it's not a big deal right?" Kate said. "I am not sorry I met with a friend to talk. I needed to clear my head and he was there to help that's it nothing more nothing less."

Seth didn't say anything as the car came to a stop and they noticed the camera crew waiting for them.

"Time to play the perfect wife." Kate said putting on her sunglasses, fixing her black WWE medical staff shirt and getting out of the car.

"Kate please." Seth said looking at her.

"Sorry just didn't sleep much last night." She said as he leaned in and kissed her softly.

As they were getting their bags out of the back of the car the camera crew followed them inside. As one of the producers asked Seth if he was ready for his match tonight.

"Always ready to main event on the grandest stage of them all. Tonight is the night the Universal Title comes back to where it belongs. To a fighting champion." Seth said to the camera as he wrapped his arm around Kate. "Tonight with my wife and children by my side I free this business from Brock Lesnar."

Later that night.

Kate had been busy since the moment she arrived with getting the supplies around and doing the preshow work ups on the superstars. Seth was busy staying lose, working out and getting his head in the game to face Brock.

When the preshow started Kate, Ben and Dr. Chris were sitting ringside for the matches.

"Kate they changed the card." Dr. Chris said leaning over to her. "Seth's match is first."

"First? Did they say why? I bet he's freaking out?" Kate said.

"So we'll be good if you want to go sit ringside with the kids." He told her.

Kate nodded and after the match was over she noticed security escorting Holly, her parents and the kids ring side. She went over and met them taking her seat.

"Mommy you working huh?" Ella said hugging her mom.

"I am princess but Dr. Chris said that I could sit with you for Daddy's match." She smiled hugging her daughter.

"Mommy uppies." Jaxon said as Kate didn't think twice before scooping up her son giving him kisses.

"How are you doing sweet heart?" Lynnette asked.

"I'm fine Mom thanks. Have the kids been good?" She asked.

"So good. They've been playing with Maryse's girls. They had a little tea party."

Kate smiled. "Yes Monroe , Madison and Ella love playing together when they get a chance. Thanks again for watching them."

"No problem." Ridge said. "It's been nice hanging out with the grand-babies."

"You know you could probably head back to the hotel any time after the match. No use having the kids stay for the whole show since Seth is going on first."

"Kate did anyone tell you why they change it?" Holly asked. "I thought he was going to main event?"

"No sorry. No one told me. I actually haven't even had a chance to talk to Seth since ya'll got here. So I don't even know how he is feeling." Kate said.

As Mania officially began Paul Heyman came to the ring walking his walk and talking his talk. Brock came to the thing as he bounced around getting loose Paul stood there holding the Universal Title. Seth's music began to play. As the whole stadium said together "Burn in Down". As much as Kate was mad at her husband she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride for him as he did win the Royal Rumble this year and was competing on the grandest stage of them all once again for the title.

"Daddy! Dat my Daddy! HI DADDY!" Ella said with excitement as she waved to Seth when he got closer to the ring.

"Dadddy! Hi Dadda!" Jaxon said waving as well as Kate was still holding him in her arms.

When Seth got closer to the ring he smiled seeing his family sitting there as he waved to the kids. As soon as the bell range over ever Brock was on the attack. The fight started outside the ring as Brock delivered punch after punch then and F5 right outside the ring.

"TOME ON DADDY!" Ella cheered for him.

As he kept giving blow after blow to Seth he couldn't seem to gain any momentum.

When Kate's phone buzzed she looked at the text message it was from Mox. She couldn't help but laugh.

"Did you pay Lesnar to kick the shit out of him?" He sent with a couple laughing emojis.

"HAHA! No I didn't." She sent back as she was texting while still paying attention to the match.

"Damn it. Would have been awesome if you said yes. Hey you decide yet on coming to AEW?"

"Still thinking about it." She sent back.

"Just as long as you are thinking about since you pinky promised me."

"This is brutal." Holly signed glancing at Kate.

"Yeah. He'll need to ice down after for sure." She told her mother in law.

Seth finally mustard up the strength to wiggle out of an almost suplex as he pushed Lesnar forward almost shoving him into the official. Who rolled out of the ring. Seth looked around made sure the official couldn't see before delivering a low blow to Lesnar to get the upper hand for the first time in the match. It took three curb stomps for Seth to finally get a cover over and the one , two , three over Brock Lesnar.

"Here is your WINNER and THE NEW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION SETH ROLLLINNNSS!" Mike Rome the announcer announced.

As they crowd was erupted in cheers and chants. Seth held his title high before rolling out of the ring and going over to Kate and the kids. The camera man right behind him. When he pulled Kate close into a deep passionate kiss.

"We did it baby." He said to her as he kissed her again. Then he hugged and kissed the kids as they were cheering and clapping for their Dad.

Seth then held the title high once again at the top of the ramp as some of the pyro went off to celebrate the newly crowned Universal Champion.

Kate took the kids to greet Seth back stage after the match.

"Daddy you winned." Ella smiled running over to Seth who was talking to a few other superstars.

"I did win my princess." Seth smiled picking up Ella and showing her the belt.

"It petty." She said touching the belt.

Jaxon who Kate was still holding in her arms reached over and touched the title too.

"YAY Daddy win!" Jaxon smiled.

"I did my boy! Dad's the champion." Seth smiled as he leaned in and kissed Kate again.

"Great job out there." Kate said. "How you feeling?

"Good." Seth smiled.

"Your back feeling good? Need me or Ben to check it out?"

"No baby. I am good nothing feels out of place. Now tomorrow it maybe a different story." He chuckled.

"They are just the cutest perfect little family." Holly smiled talk to Ridge and Lynnette.

Ridge didn't say anything as he looked over at his daughter and son in law.

Five Hours later.

The main event was well under way. It had been a long exhausting night for the medical staff and everyone in general. Ridge and Lynnette took the kids back to the hotel room so they could get some sleep as Seth was hanging out backstage riding high as the new champion.

Kate had been ring side for this match. She watched on the whole time thinking to herself what she wouldn't give to be Ronda or Charlotte right now just to get in a good shot at Becky.

She knew this wasn't the best part of herself being this jealous angry person but this woman slept with her husband. After a lot of back and forth in this match and well over 20 minutes later. Becky finally pinned Ronda for the win.

But as Kate watched Ronda she knew something wasn't right with her. She was hurting. Kate didn't know if it was her knee or her hand but something was off.

"I am gonna go with Ronda. Somethings up."

Dr. Chris nodded. "Yeah I will radio back tell them you are coming back with her."

"Tell them to keep xray clear." Kate said as she headed to the side of the ramp out of camera view as Becky was celebrating being the new champion.

"Ronda?"

"Kate shit girl I think I broke my hand." Ronda said trying to get it out of the glove as it was already swollen.

"Alright let's get you back to the medical room and get it looked at." Kate said.

Ronda nodded and held her bruised hand in the other as they walked back to the trainers room. Once they got their Kate slowly took off the and examined it.

"It's broken isn't it? Damn it right on Becky's face." Ronda said.

Kate couldn't help but chuckle. "Sorry just wish I could have broken my hand on Becky's face."

"I have sensed something between you two the last few months. What's up?"

"Let's get you to xray." Kate said.

"Not gonna tell me huh?" Ronda said as they headed over to the machined. "Ben think you can give Ronda here an xray just of her hand."

Ben nodded. "Sure thing Kate."

Kate left the room so they could get that done. When she noticed Travis Ronda's husband coming over to her.

"Hey Kate where is she? She alright?"

"Confident she broke her hand." Kate said.

"Really damn."

"Yeah sorry it's not better news. Hey have you seen Seth?" Kate asked looking around as she hadn't seen him since she got back stage with Ronda.

"Yeah he was near gorilla. We watched the whole main event there together. He was pretty emotional about the women main eventing. He really supports the women wrestlers which is refreshing."

Kate bit her lip as she nodded. "So he was with Becky?"

"Yeah he wanted to congratulate her I guess." Travis stated as Ronda came out and embraced her husband in a hug.

"Kate you coming?" Ronda asked as they were heading back into the medical room.

"Yeah be right there." Kate said getting out her phone as she started texting Mox.

"Hey Mox! Set up the meeting with Tony. AEW is looking pretty good right now."
