A little ladybug
Crying is heard from the monitor
Ruby wakes up in the middle of the night followed by Blake
Ruby sees her wife up but places her hand on her head and gently pushes her back on to the pillow where she falls back to sleep.
Ruby walks to her daughter's room. She looks in the crib, sees her fussing little girl, and smiles.
"Come on Brier, its okay, let's go," Ruby tells her daughter as she lifts her from her crib. She smells her Diaper, "nothing there" she thinks and then looks at her little girl and asks with a smile "are you thirsty?"
The only reply the child who has now calm down was a simple "goo"
"Alright let's get you something to drink!" and the two left the baby's room and into the kitchen.
Ruby opens the refrigerator door to find a baby bottle of milk. She takes the bottle and puts it in the microwave. Ruby once again looks at her child while she waits. She has Blake's adorable cat ears. She's filled with joy every time she sees her little girl and knows that Blake feels the same.
The microwave beeps and Ruby removes the bottle and tests the contents. "perfect". She then gives her daughter the bottle who quickly drinks. After the faunus child finishes, Ruby takes the child back her the baby room and places her in the crib. Ruby once admires her daughter and softly taps the sleeping baby's nose.
Ruby returns to her and Blakes's room and crawls back into bed with said woman.
"mmm that didn't take long," Blake says with a tired voice.
"mmm she's getting better" Ruby replied.
"I could've helped her out if you wanted to sleep more," Blake said, sleepiness still in her voice
"It's okay, you took care of her last night so it's fine," said Ruby. "Feels like yesterday it took the both of us hours to help her get back to sleep"
The memory made Blake chuckle "good times"
Ruby smiles "she's adorable"
Blake smiles "she's our little ladybug"
Ruby cuddles up to Blake "She sure is"
Soon the everyone in the Belladonna-Rose household was fast asleep
