Steve is still not awake but is allowed, visitors. Lou pulls Danny aside before going in and talks to him.
"Danny this is not your fault, you could have not known that Steve was under so much stress, you could not have known that he was going to have a heart attack", Lou tells Danny.
Danny then starts pacing and tells Lou, "I know that I could not have known about the heart attack, but I should have noticed the stress Steve was handling, I should have not moved out, I should have come up with another excuse to stay there".
Lou then stops Danny's pacing and looks at him and says," No this is not your fault, Steve is guarded person and is not a person to come to us tell us that he needs help and that would be the only way you would have known, Steve looked normal every time he came to work, and you know I can read people very well".
"I guess your right", Danny finally says.
They then both walk-into Steve's room. Steve then starts to wake up, but very slowly.
"Hey idiot", Danny says to Steve.
"What happened", Steve says groggily.
"You had a heart attack because of stress that you didn't tell me about!", Danny sternly tells Steve.
Steve then tries to sit up
"No No No you lay down and you stay there because that's all you going to do when your here", Danny tells Steve
Lou then goes and stand next to Steve
"You know Steve we are all here and when you call we come so come on just tell us what's up", Lou tells Steve calmly.
Steve then looks up and is deciding whether to tell him about how bad he has been feeling.
"Ok you guys, I guess I have been depressed about not having my dad, losing Joe and Mom and I was looking at a photo of my dad and me when I was younger and I got this pain in my heart and the next thing you know I'm here" Steve finally tells them.
"Oh buddy you should have told us how you were feeling, I know we fight a lot, but you're not alone, I'm here, the team is here", Danny says as he sits down next to Steve.
"Yeah Steve you know that you have created one huge family and that means we are here for you man", Lou tells Steve.
The doctor walks into the room and says, "Well I see you awake and alert. You gave us quite a scare Steve, but you are going to recover nicely, though I am concerned that this might happen again".
"Well, how do we make sure that doesn't happen again," Danny says smartly.
"I am going to put Steve on some heart medication and we will see how that goes, but make sure he takes on the amount prescribed," the doc says.
"Oh, so you're going to just give heart medication and hope he doesn't become addicted, what kind of doctor are you, huh, you should be asking if there has been stress in his life or if he is depressed to see maybe just maybe that is what caused this, and you said it yourself that stress caused this" Danny yells.
"And I am right that stress caused this but the heart medication is going to help relieve some of the stress to the heart, and the extra stress he has is up to him, if he is depressed I can prescribe anti-depressants, but not if he really thinks he needs them," the doc says back to Danny.
The doctor then leaves.
Steve finally then says to Danny, "Look I don't need the anti-depressants, I know I am a little depressed but not enough for the need for medication, I will work on my stress, but I don't see that going away".
"Well first off your not going back to work for a while, Lou and I will lead, we got Quinn, Tani, Junior, and Adam we are all set, you're going to go see a therapist and I am going to make you go, I am going to get that lady back to give you tips on how lower your stress, and you will listen with no arguing, do you hear me Steve McGarrett", Danny says sternly to Steve.
"Danny I need to go back to work and no I am not going to see a therapist and I don't need that woman back to tell how I can relieve my stress" Steve stubbornly says crossing his arms.
"You are such a child! Charlie wouldn't argue like this. Steve you are going to see that therapist and that women are going to come back to get used to that, and you're not going back to work for a while because that is where most of your stress comes from" Danny practically yells to Steve.
Tani, Junior, and Quinn walk-in
"Hey Boss", Tani says.
"He is not your boss, for the time being, I am", Danny says.
"Ignore him", Steve says
"So when can you get out of here?" Junior asks.
"I don't know I hope soon", Steve huffs out.
"Yeah well even if you get out here soon you are going home and not leaving", Danny says sternly.
"Ok fine I will follow your stupid rule", Steve huffed out.
"It has been like this for the last 20 minutes", Lou says.
"So how are you kids doing?", Steve asks Tani and Junior.
Junior and Tani look at each other not wanting to say anything to add more stress to Steve. but Junior decides to speak up
"Look Steve I want to thank you for everything, for giving a job that I love, and for giving me this huge family, and also a place to live, but Tani, and I are ready the next step so I am going to move in with her", Junior slowly says.
Steve then looks at Junior and says, "Look Junior I didn't expect you to live with me forever, and I am glad that everything is going so well for you too so I say congratulations, but Eddie might be a little mad".
"Thank you, sir" Junior happily says.
"Ok then if he is moving out then I am moving in and you will not say no", Danny says proudly.
"You don't have to do that I am going to be fine," Steve says back to Danny.
"I know you are because I am going to be there", Danny says.
Tani's phone then goes off
"Uh I will be right back", Tani says as she leaves.
Tani leaves with Quinn on her tail
"Hello... who is this?", Tani asks.
"Tani Tani Tani, nice to hear your voice again", Mystery person says through the phone.
"Drew, I told you me and you are done, we were done a long time ago", Tani says.
"You see that's a problem, you promised me that you were going to do that little job for me or something bad was going to happen", Drew says.
"Drew I can't, and I won't so stop calling or god forbid anything happens I will kill you myself", Tani says angrily.
"Tani you don't get it what you promised is a big deal, and you better do it or someone might just end up hurt", Drew says.
"I can't break your partner out of jail and can not help you ship drugs off this island", Tani says back.
"You can do anything with that Five-0 badge miss Tani Rey", Drew says calmly.
"Well then I won't help you", Tani sternly says.
"Bad choice Tani Rey", Drew says and hangs ups.
Tani then looks up and chucks her phone "Shit", Tani yells out.
"What's going on?", Quinn asks.
Tani turns around, "How long have you been standing there?", Tani asks
"I heard everything", Quinn tells Tani.
"You can't tell anything to the guys", Tani says desperately.
Quinn then sits down in the waiting room
"Come sit", Quinn says point to the chair next to her.
Tani then sits
"Look what was that about and don't tell me nothing", Quinn says sternly.
Tani looks down at her feet and after 5 minutes says, "After my mom left I met this guy at a bar, his name is Drew, he was charming and so great to me, and then I found out what he does for "work". He is one of the leaders of the huge drug gang in Hawaii. I then started to help him out, but he started to get less charming and more hostile to me like he is toward the rest of the gang. Then the abuse started, which didn't surprise me, it didn't last long, but before I left him, a top leader of the gang got caught and is now in prison for so many years and this shipment is coming in and they had this plan ready for such a long time, and I was a key part. After I left I went into hiding basically, but before I could I joined Five-0 and he just contacted me a week ago and I promised that I would help him, but I lied so he wouldn't keep calling, but now I just put everyone in my life in Danger".
Tani then starts to softly cry.
"Tani look, it was right to say no, but it's time to tell the guys, we can take this operation down", Quinn tells Tani softly.
"No not yet Junior can not know about this", Tani says.
"Ok, I will support you. Tani, have you ever talked to someone about the abuse? Quinn says and asks.
"No I don't need to like I said it didn't last long", Tani says.
Tani then stands up and leaves. Junior walks in.
"Hey Quinn, where is Tani?" asks Junior.
"She just left, she didn't feel well", Quinn quickly answers.
