Several Days Later.

"Here is your winner the AEW World Champion Jon Moxley!"

Moxley rolled out of the ring and tossed toss a few chairs through the ring ropes. When he got back in the ring he put the arm of the one known as 10 who followed the dark order's leader Brodie Lee. He put his arm into the steal chair.

"Stop squirming." Moxley said as he put the mic up to his face. "Now I don't know the strategy behind MR. BRODIE stealing my property. I don't know if it was a message. A hostile take over but a seizure of power. Some kind of Dark Order crap I don't really care. The way I see it you're trying to punk me out. And I am not going to go backstage and chase you around all night and look like a geek. I'm going to do this. I am going to give you 10 seconds to come out here and correct your mistake or I am gonna break this mans arm." Moxley said looking down at his opponent. "Looks like he's your favorite too. Are you his little special boy?" Moxley asked in higher pitched cartoon like voice. "Are you the special boy? You have Ten seconds, Ten, nine..." He said starting to count backwards.

"Listen! Listen, listen Mr. Moxley." Brodie Lee said from backstage as his image appeared on the tron. "Listen to me. You do not call the shots. And now you have made your bed and Saturday I'm gonna put you to sleep in it Saturday night. All you had to do Mox you want your belt back? All you had to do was ask. And Saturday night now it's just me and you. Look in my eyes Mox. Look in my eyes I mean business. You, you made this personal. Now at a time like this unfortunately we all have to make sacrifices. So for tonight I'm leaving. Let's go boys." Brodie said as he started walking out of the building.

"Alright see ya Saturday!" Moxley said as he didn't even hesitate to crush Ten's arm in the steel chair.

"Damn ruthless Mox." Kate chuckled watching the screen.

"Ruthless is how you describe him? Kate right? Hi I'm Kenny Omega!" Kenny Omega said coming over to Kate watching the screen.

"HI yeah I am Kate the new medical assistant and I know who you are. I've known Mox awhile and he is one of the baddest dudes in this game." Kate said. "I mean you should know he beat your ass did he not?"

"Not by much darling." Kenny said with a grin checking her out.

"Huh really? I mean from what I remember he beat your ass tossed you like a sack of potatoes into double barb wire. Choked you out with a chain and the cherry on top was him giving you para dime shift right on to the hard wood under the ring." Kate stated looking at Kenny.

"Shit girl you watched that match huh?" Kenny chuckled.

"I did and I rooted for Moxley the whole time." She smiled.

"Well that's because you didn't know me then. You'll root for my next time." He smiled touching her face softy.

"We'll see about that." Kate said as she noticed Moxley was now back stage talking with Cody stretching out his body and she noticed the bandage on his elbow was almost all the way off. "If you'll excuse me Kenny." Kate said walking over to Cody and Mox.

"Dude not sure that is a tree you should be barking at." Adam Page, Kenny's tag partner said. While Kenny watched her walk away.

"Why not? She's hot. Give it time dude she'll be mine if only for one night. I will tap that." Kenny said.

"Moxley trainers room now!" Kate said pointing to the trainers room door.

"Damn it whose idea was it to hire her again?" Moxley chuckled sticking his tongue out at her.

"Yours dude." Cody laughed.

"Fuck what was I thinking." He joked shoving her playfully.

"Kiss my ass now get in there because I can see your arm is red and I want to check your neck."

"Bossy ain't she?"

"No backing out now the ladies all adore her and I love having Kate here so suck it up Moxley." Brandi said joining the conversation.

"Yeah suck it up Mox." Kate said as they headed to the trainers room. Kate smacking Moxley's booty.

"Hey woman." He said.

"Now you know how I feel. Now sit." She laughed pointing to the medical table as she washed her hands and put on some gloves.

"Why are you so mean to me?" Moxley pretended to pout.

"Awe did I hurt your feelings?" She said trying to be serious.

"Never babe." He grinned as Kate ripped off the bandage on his arm and was examining his elbow. "So how does it look?"

"It's a little red in this area." She said rubbing the top part of his elbow. "Does it hurt and don't lie to me please."

"Actually no my arm feels fine. Just a little stiff." Moxley said moving it in circle motion.

"Well good news is you didn't break the skin so that is always a bonus. I don't want to have to call your ass out for another infection you never wanted to get looked at." Kate said.

"Oh ha ha. One time ok one time." Moxley said.

"And you could have died so shut up." She said.

"Alright fine you win but that's just because you look hot in those jeans and the AEW black shirt." He said smacking her ass.

"I hate you!" She chuckled.

"You love me. I know. So talk to IT today?" Moxley asked Kate as she growled. "I take that as a Yes?"

"Yes it's a yes. I talked with Seth this morning only so I could talk to the kids." Kate said as she stared massage Mox's neck as she could feel it was stiff.

"What did IT have to say?" Moxley asked moving his neck around a bit.

"He said sorry for the millionth time. Said he loves me and wants to talk when I get home. Oh and that I should understand by now how this business works and shouldn't get so upset over a story line that doesn't mean anything. It's just for TV." Kate continued to say as she finished rubbing Mox's neck.

"Fucking asshole." Moxley mumbled as Kate went to walk over to the sink Mox stopped her grabbing her arm softly and turning her to face him. "Kit listen to me fuck him. I know you love him and you have the kids but you deserve better than his cheating ass."

"I just don't understand him. He says one thing and does the opposite. Does Seth not realize that his actions have consequences? After Mania we talked and I thought he was being open and honest. We spent much needed family time together. Had so much fun with the kids and we even went on a few date nights. I thought things were getting better but then he ends up in a story line with that home wrecking whore." Kate scoffed. "He could have said no but since he didn't I have to see it live on TV? How is that fair to me?"

"It's not fair to you at all Kate. WWE doesn't care about anything but making money. If Vince finds it entertaining he's gonna do it. But Seth has way more pull than I ever did. We know he's Trips boy so he could have said no." Moxley told her.

"That's what I told him. I said I get the story line I am not that naive but it could have been with any other female talent but it had to be the one he fucked. So yeah not happy about it." Kate told him as Moxley was holding her hand staring into her eyes. "I am just sick of him talking and no action."

"What is it that you really want babe?" Moxley asked.

"I wish I knew. I am still so pissed off at him for screwing around on me. Why wasn't I enough?" Kate said as Moxley pulled her into a hug.

"You are enough! Never doubt yourself as a wife, a mother and a woman. If Seth can't see how amazing you are and all you've done for him. Then he is the fucking idiot here." He said holding her close to him. "Wild idea why don't you come to Vegas with me. Sounds like you could use a break from Iowa?" Moxley asked her softly touching her face and looking into her eyes.

"I would but I can't leave the kids. They don't understand what's going on and I miss them so much. I just want to get home to them." Kate said as she backed away from Moxley as she went to wash her hands.

"You can always bring the kids. You know I adore them so just think about alright?" Moxley offered.

"Thanks Mox you are truly amazing. Renee is one lucky lady." She said as she turned to see her friends facial expression change. "What? Did I say something wrong?"

"Renee moved out a few months ago." Moxley told her.

"What why?" Kate asked.

"We both want different things I guess. She said that I don't give her enough attention. That I don't want to do things with her. Oh and that I am never home and over working. I am just as busy as I was in WWE. But I think she doesn't like that I am at a different company but she wont ever admit that."

"Jonathon Moxley why the hell didn't you tell me? Here I've been talking to you for weeks about my marriage problems and never once asked how yours was doing. I am so sorry I am a shitty friend. You should have told me. I just saw her at Stomping Ground. If I would have known I would have smacked the shit out of her." Kate growled.

"Kit it's fine. It's life you know being honest not even that broken up about it. Only a matter of time I guess." Moxley said.

"Still Jon this can't be easy on you. I mean I am so sorry. So what is your next step?" Kate asked.

"Honestly I don't know if I even want to try and work it out with her. Maybe we are just two different people wanting different things." He said as he looked over at Kate.

"I am sorry this sucks for real." Kate said.

"It's fine babe. It's life sometimes relationships just fizzle out and don't work. What can ya do?"

Kate looked at her friend and nodded feeling so horrible for not seeing this sooner.

Later that night.

Kate had finally made it back to the hotel after grabbing a late night bite to eat and a few drinks with Moxley and a few other AEW talent. As she laid down on the bed she looked at her phone and signed. Over 5 missed calls from Seth and just as many if not a few more text messages from Seth. She signed again as she called Seth.

"Hey sorry it is to late?" Kate asked glancing at the time.

"No not at all but where the hell have you been? I've been trying to get a hold of you most of the night." Seth said.

"I know. I was at work then I was starving so I went out to get a late dinner. How are the kids?" She asked.

"They are good. Ella and I had a little tea party. Jaxon wanted none of that of course. But then we played a few video games. My mom brought over dinner and after bath time we watched a movie. Neither made it through the whole movie." Seth smiled.

"Awe my sweet little babies. I'm sorry I should have called and talked to them before bed time. I miss them so much. I just honestly didn't want to talk to you." She told him.

"Are we gonna go over this again? How are you still mad. Kate listen I told you over and over it's just a story line that means nothing. It's all for TV." Seth explained.

"I know you did. I am sorry it bothers me so much. You know what I am not sorry. I am pissed Seth. Like I told you the this morning it could have been any other female talent but it had to be Becky." Kate scoffed. "The one you slept with Seth. I am still so mad at you for sleeping with another woman. I just feel like you don't understand how that makes me feel. I had to leave WWE or I would have kicked her smug Irish ass." Kate growled.

"This isn't all on Becky. It's on me too." Seth said softly.

"Oh believe me it takes all I have not to kick your ass too. But the kids don't need to see you get your ass kicked by their mother. Becky is not innocent in this either she knew you were married to me but she still made that choice to sleep with you. Seth I am just still angry and I don't know how to process all of this. It's hard because you say you want to work it out but then you do the opposite. You told me you wanted to work on us but then you act shady. I don't know what to do or where to go from here. We need to get off this train." Kate admitted.

"Katie please what do you mean?" Seth asked.

"What I mean is Seth you need to really think about what it is you want and who you want. I told you before I wont share you with anyone so if you want Becky then maybe just maybe we need to break up." She said feeling the tears swell up in her eyes.

"Is that really what you want?" Seth asked softly.

"I don't know what I want. But Seth the better question is what do you want? We can't keep doing this."

"I love you Kate you know that." Seth told her.

"I love you too but sometimes love just may not be enough."

"We're collecting dust, but our love's enough."
