The Crystal Empire does not know of the threat coming. It is a normal day, ponies just going about their day. Cadence sits in her throne room, Flurry in her hooves.

Flurry plays around Cadence and she retaliates. Suddenly, she gets a painful migraine. Shining Armor soon notices as he is on the other side of the room thinking.

"What's wrong?" he asks, comforting her.

"Nothing" Cadence replies before she clenches in pain again. In her mind, she suddenly sees destruction, ponies crying, and a three headed dragon that roars out. Her image than ends. She falls back in her throne, gasping.

"It's okay, honey. Just relax and breathe" Shining said. She took a few deep breaths until she was caught up.

"Now, what was that?" Shining asked.

"Something terrible is coming as it was a vision I saw" Cadence said with worry. She looked at Flurry Heart who had a worried expression.

"You know, it could be nothing" Shining replied.

"No, it was a vision, I swear. It was so real" Cadence said

"Honey, you need to relax" Shining replied, "All the work you've been doing lately is probably starting to take its toll."

"But-" she said, but was cut off.

"No, take the rest of the day off" Shining said. Cadence took it into consideration before she obliged.

"Fine"

"Good, now relax" Shining said, "Now relax, everything's going to be fine." Suddenly, a screeching roar could be heard throughout. Cadence suddenly got up and went out to the balcony.

He she looked up as the sky was now a reddish orange and clouds were starting to form as yellow lightning begins to flash.

"What's going on?" Shining asked. She then sees a beam of lightning go across some crystal houses, exploding and vaporizing them.

She looks to where the beam came from to see a three headed, golden scaled, two tailed dragon flying above. Soon, the dragon begins to fire more beams as they vaporize more houses and unlucky ponies.

"What in the hay is that thing?!" Shining Armor said.

"Get Flurry out of here and to a safe location" Cadence said.

"Where are you going?"

"Get out, NOW!" Cadence said. Without a second thought, Shining Armor did so. Cadence then flies up towards the dragon. She charges up her horn before firing a beam of magic. The beam nails the middle head.

The dragon stops mid-flight and turns towards Cadence. The dragon growls at Cadence. Cadence misjudged its size from the ground as it was far bigger than what she thought.

Still, she wasn't going to let it destroy the Crystal Empire.

"Be gone, foul beast. You have intruded my kingdom, and now you shall pay the price!" Cadence shouted. The dragon let's out a thunderous screeching roar before charging. She flies towards it at amazing speed.

The dragon's left head fires a beam, but she dodges. The right head then fires, but she dodges. The dragon then fires all three beams at once.

Cadence deploys a magic force field, but when the beams hit, she has a hard time holding them back as the power from them was immense.

Suddenly, she teleports above the dragon before firing a charged beam at its back. The dragon roars in irritation before the middle head looks back at her and fires a beam. She teleports again before firing another beam.

This time it hits the right head. The right head roars before firing a beam at her.

She teleports again, dodging the beam before hitting the left head with a beam before teleporting again, dodging the beam the left head fires. Annoyed by this, the dragon roars out before firing beams in all directions.

She easily dodges the streams, but one she nearly didn't. They stop firing before they see her flying towards them. They roar before flying at her. When they're within range, the middle head lunges.

Cadence dodges his jaws, before flying up its back. The dragon soon turns around before firing a beam after her. She dodges before he begins pursuit. She flies upwards, this time having to watch out for lightning.

She dodges a blast, then another, and another. The higher she goes, the more frequent they become. However, the dragon begins to gain on her. She suddenly dives back down.

She tucks in her wings, diving at incredible speed downward like a peregrine falcon. The dragon's middle head opens its jaws, ready to snatch her.

Suddenly, she charges up her horn to maximum before firing a blast into the mouth of the middle head. He gets a mouthful of magic before it explodes.

The middle head roars out in pain before she dodges and dives down the length of his body. However, she doesn't mind the tails and gets hit by the left one.

She yells in pain as it felt like getting hit by a runaway freight train. She clenches in pain as the force had broken her wing. So, she glides down, but she is exhausted. She lands in the middle of a decimated crystal street.

She looks back up to see the dragon coming back down. Now, the odds are in his favor. The dragon lands a few meters away from her with his back to her. He is intrigued by the giant crystal tower.

He walks towards it before he crawls on top of it, his body mostly wrapped around it. He then looks across the Equestrian landscape before letting out a mighty roar that echoes throughout.

Then, he gets down before using his brute strength and pushing the tower over. Cadence noticed it was toppling towards her. She immediately ran for her life. The tower slowly fell over.

She avoided the falling chunks of crystal and narrowly escaped as the tower came crashing down. The tower lands with an earth shattering thud, it being reduced to crystalline rubble.

Cadence looked back with a tear as her kingdom was completely gone. The dragon then rears up before spreading his wings, letting out a mighty thunderous screeching roar.

Then, he takes to the air, flying further south, leaving the Crystal Empire in complete ruins. Cadence looks among her fallen kingdom. Crystal ponies had their dull appearances.

Many cried, some were sad, others were angry, it was a mix of many emotions. They all looked at Cadence as she walked about. But then, she sees a familiar face that makes her happy.

Flurry flies out of nowhere, hugging her mom. Cadence was so happy to see her as she embraced the hug. Suddenly, Shining Armor came up, hugging her as well.

"I'm glad you guys are safe" Cadence said.

"Princess, we have good news and bad news" a crystal guard said, "The good news is that we got most of the citizens evacuated, the bad news is the Crystal Empire is completely destroyed and we couldn't rescue everypony."

Cadence looked around at the other ponies who were survivors. But then, she realized the real bad news, the direction that creature was heading. She turned to a pegasus crystal guard.

"Warn Princess Celestia, Luna, and Twilight of the coming danger"

"Yes, ma'am" he said before he immediately heads for Ponyville. But, just as he left, another guard showed up, one of Canterlot's. He was in shock from the scene he had walked into, but he kept his cool.

"Princess Cadence, I have a message for you from the other princesses" the guard said.

"Well, let's here it" Shining said.

"Unfortunately, Canterlot was destroyed by a giant, unidentified monster, but the Princesses are okay" Cadence was sad yet relieved, as well as Shining.

"How many of these giant monsters are there?" Shining asked.

"So far, one, but on the way here, I saw a giant three headed dragon flying overhead, so that makes two" the guard said, "Is he responsible for this destruciton?"

"Unfortunately, yes" Cadence said, "I've already sent a guard, but could you let them know." The guard saluted Cadence before he flies as fast as he could back to Ponyville.

"This is bad" Shining said, "How much worse could it get?"

"Much worse" a deep voice suddenly said. Cadence and Shining turned around to see Tirek who had just finished sucking the magic out of a guard. He then drops him to the ground.

"Tirek!" they both said at the same time. They took their battle stances and Flurry hid behind Cadence.

"How in the hay do you keep escaping from Tartarus?" Shining said.

"That's none of your business, but you have something that belongs to me" Tirek said before he made a gesture and an orange magical aura formed around Shining, Cadence, and Flurry.

They then floated over to Tirek before he opened his mouth and begins sucking all the magic out of the three. They clench in pain as the magic leaves their bodies.

Flurry screams as her highly powerful magic leaves her body. Soon, he absorbs it all and tosses them aside. He then grows in size, growing 5 times bigger than what he was.

He let's out a thunderous roar that echoes throughout.

"YES! The power! THE POWER!" Tirek shouts. He is now almost as big as the two monsters, all he needs is just the Princesses magic to gain full power and be kaiju sized.

"Now, let's follow that dragon. Together, we could be powerful allies together and destroy Equestria to our liking." Tirek said before he smirked and stomped away towards the South.

Cadence weakly raised her head up and opened her eyes as they were now grey. Her cutie mark was gone, along with all of her other powers, like flight. She watched as Tirek stomped away.

"Why..." she weakly said before her head collapses back down.

Author's Note: Already another chapter! Well, I'm having fun with this.

Also, I forgot to tell you all this, but so no one's confused, Ghidorah's design is his Legendary version with maybe a few sounds from the Heisei and Showa Ghidorahs.

Also, when will I call him 'Ghidorah'? Well, soon, probably when he and Godzilla encounter each other.

Also, Prehistoric Pals, along with some other stories, will get finished in due time, I promise, but this is just a little side story to keep me and you all entertained.

You know how it is, when you're working on a story and you kind of get bored of it for awhile. Yeah, that's the phase I'm going through right now. Hope you all understand. Until next time, Dinopony2580 out!
