2 months later. Tani still hasn't told the rest of the team. Junior is starting to get worried about Tani. Quinn is still keeping Tani's secret but wants to tell someone especially Junior. Steve is now doing better and Danny did move in. Steve is back to work.
At Tani/Junior's house, Junior is fixing up the house and Tani is just on the couch watching tv. Tani then gets a call from Lou saying that there is a case and that he needs them there.
At the crime scene, Lou is there with Adam.
"What do we have here", Tani asks.
"Five victims, all executed from the back. All victims have bruises around the wrists and ankles. These were kept tied, up, most likely they were prisoners", Lou tells everyone.
Tani then realizes that she knows two of them, they were part of the gang that she was a part of. Shots are then fired.
"Get down everyone right now!", Lou screams.
The Five-0 task force then starts shooting the perps. As Tani is shooting a man comes up behind her and tries to grab her. Tani tries to fight off the guy, everyone else is trying to deal with the shooter, Junior then sees Tani getting taken away.
"Tani!", Junior yells out.
Tani is then put in a van and taken away. The shooter then leaves.
"Damit son of a bitch", Junior screams out.
They all go back to the palace to try to locate Tani and find out the killer of the five victims.
At the palace, Junior can't stop pacing, whispering to himself that he should have helped her.
"Hey Junior we will find her", Quinn says softly to Junior.
"You don't know that she could be dead already and it's my fault", Junior says sadly.
"Hey this is not your fault you had a job to do, we had a job to do, and Tani knows the risks of this job, she is fine and we must think that way, Junior. We will find her alive", Lou says.
Steve and Danny then walk in.
"Hey why are you here?" asks Lou.
"When someone from this team is kidnapped I am here", Steve says sternly,
"What do we know you guys?", Danny asks.
"We know nothing, what do we do", Junior frantically says
Steve then points to his office and says," Hey Junior come with me".
In the office, Steve tells Junior, "Hey we will find her, but if I think you're too close to this then I will ask you to back off this a little bit".
"Sir I mean no disrespect, but I need to be part of this, she got me back when I was kidnapped, I am going to get her back no matter who is in my way", Junior says sternly.
"Alright, that's what I wanted to hear let's get back out there", Steve says.
As they try to find out, Tani is taken somewhere near the coastlines at a warehouse.
Tani is struggling with her until a huge guy comes and knocks her out.
"Take her and tie her to the chair ", Drew orders the man.
Drew then takes a bucket of water and splashes Tani with it.
"Well well well look at what we have here", Drew says lowly.
"What did you do to those five people?", Tani angrily asks.
"Doesn't matter, what does matter is that I got you back here. You really shouldn't have left", Drew says.
"Look I am not doing what you asked, you can torture me, kill me and I still won't help, and I only promised you that I would do those things so you would stop calling me", Tani spats out.
Drew then walks up to her and starts to beat her, Tani is then taken somewhere.
At the palace, they decided to look at the five victims and see what they might have in common.
"Hey, I found this, all five are known to be part of this drug gang on the island", Lou tells as he brings their profiles up on the screen.
Quinn is now feeling very guilty
"Hey, are you ok?" Steve asks concernedly
"Look I have to tell you guys something", Quinn slowly says.
Quinn then tells them the story Tani told her.
"Why didn't you say anything before, huh, we could have found her by now", Junior says angrily.
"Hey calm down, you know Tani she could have told us", Steve says.
"She was worried that you guys were going to be mad and fire her", Quinn adds.
Steve then looks guilty.
"Look let's look up this Drew guy and see if we can find him", Danny says.
They find his record in the system they then leave to go see if he is at his house, and he is.
When they get there, they bust in and look for Drew.
"Five 0!" Steve yells.
"Woah, what is going on?", Drew asks.
"You son of a bitch where is Tani?" Junior asks him as he grabs his throat and pins him against the wall.
"I don't know what your talking about I swear", Drew quickly answers her.
Junior then let's go and they take Drew to the Palace and puts him down into interrogation.
"We know that you took her, and also know about your planned shipment raid, and if you don't tell us where she is I'm going to let my buddy Junior over here rip you to shreds", Steve says.
"Oh so you're the boyfriend, you know that she is such a bitch right," Drew says smartly.
Junior then walks up and punches him hardly
"Watch your mouth you bastard, I know what you did to her and you should be glad that I haven't beaten you to a bloody pulp", Junior darkly says.
"Look we know everything, and we will find her and when we do I will let Junior here beat you to a bloody pulp, I should just let him do it now," Steve says.
Junior then rolls up his sleeves
"Wait wait, you can't do this I have rights," Drew says quickly.
"Your rights vanished when you killed those five people and took Tani and also there are no cameras in here at all only us, and we can just say that you got crazy and had to be put down", Steve tells Drew.
Junior then starts to punch him everywhere.
"Ok ok stop, I had someone kill them, and Tani is in a warehouse", Drew screams.
"Let's go", Junior says.
They get to the warehouse and they bust in
"Five 0 show your hands", Steve yells.
The team bust in and start to take out the guys in the warehouse.
Junior slips out and goes to look for Tani. Junior then kicks in a door as see Tani down and unconscious.
"Tani I'm here, wake up, please wake up" Junior cries out, finally letting tears fall.
"We need a bus now!" Quinn calls in as she moves toward Junior and Tani.
"Please Tani wakes up, just please", Junior says as he starts to sob.
"Sir you have to move", the paramedic says.
"Junior move so they can do their job", Quinn says.
"Can I ride with her?", Junior says.
"Are you family?", the paramedic asks.
"I'm her boyfriend", Junior says back.
"Yeah, alright", the Paramedic says quickly.
They then rush to the hospital.
"She will be ok Quinn, and this is not your fault", Steve tells Quinn.
"Yes it is, I should have told you guys the minute she was taken. She is my first friend and I almost got her killed", Quinn tells back to Steve.
They then both walk out and go to the hospital
At the hospital, Junior and the rest of the team is in the waiting room
"Is Tani Rey's family here?", the doctor asks.
"I'm her boyfriend", Junior says.
the doctor then walks over to them
"I am very sorry, but we can only release information to the family", the doctor says.
"Hey we are family, she only has her brother and he is on his way, just tell us", Junior yells.
"We need to wait for her brother, wait are you Junior?", the doctor asks
"Yeah", Junior says back.
"She put you as her health care proxy", the doc says.
"Wait was is your name", Junior says.
"My name is doctor Grey", Grey answers.
"Did she really?", Junior asks again.
"Yes, and I can tell you that she took many blows to the head and the ribs, and found a bullet in her shoulder and leg. She is a very lucky lady and she will recover, but it will take time", Grey tells them.
"Oh my god, she was shot?", Junior asks.
"Yes but she will recover as I said she is a very lucky lady", Grey says, then she walks away.
Koa then runs in
"Where is she? what happened?", Koa asks as he is out of breath.
"The doctor just left, she is going to recover, blows to the head and ribs and shot through the shoulder and leg", Steve tells Koa.
"Oh my, is she going to recover?", Koa asks.
"Yes really come sit", Steve tells Koa.
Doctor Grey walks up to them and tells them, "That they can go see her, but only one at a time".
"Junior you go", Steve says.
"Thanks", Junior simply says and then goes to see Tani and the doctor goes with him.
"She should be waking up soon, she will be in pain for a while, I will prescribe her some pain medications and we will see how that goes", Doctor Greys tells Junior.
"Thank you, will she fully recover?" Junior asks.
The doctor goes and stands next to Junior and says, "Yes she should, but we need to see how does when she wakes up and then see how she does during PT".
The doctor then leaves to give Junior alone time with Tani.
"Tani I am so sorry that this happened to you, I will never let anything happen to you ever again", Junior whispers to Tani.
He then starts thinking about Drew and about that he is good as dead.
"Junes", Tani pops out groggily.
"Tani oh my you're awake, " Juniors says happily.
"I guess I am, and I am guessing that you guys know about Drew", Tani says.
"We do, and I am never going to let him near you ever again", Junior says firmly.
"I know you are, but I still can take care of myself", Tani says back.
"I know and I don't want to take your independence away, but I am going to be taking care of you more now than ever", Junior says.
"Hey, lucky girl. How are you feeling?" Steve asks Tani as he walks in.
"I'm doing good boss", Tani answers back.
"Hey I am going to grab the doctor", Junior tells them.
"Hey Tani, I want to tell you that you can tell me anything and I will always hear you out, your an amazing cop, and person, I want you to trust me, I am not just your boss I want to think that I can be a mentor and a family member to you", Steve tells Tani softly.
"Steve I don't know what to say, I just, when my mom left us and then my dad died I felt alone and then you hired me and I feel like I am going ruin this and my relationship with Junior," Tani says.
"I get it totally, and I am here to stay and you can call me if you just want to talk and I will be there, and I know Junior will never leave you ever, I see the way he looks at you", Steve says happily.
Junior, the rest of the team including her brother, and the doctor then enter the room.
"Well Tani Rey you are a lucky woman, and I am glad that your awake, now you are going to need PT for your arm and shoulder, and you should recover in a couple of months," Doctor Grey tells Tani.
"Wait I can't afford PT", Tani says in a panic.
"I will take care of it", Steve spats out.
"No Steve I can't ask or let you do that," Tani says to Steve.
"Tani I want to do this," Steve.
"Are you sure?" Tani asks.
"Yes very sure, I am going to want you back in a couple of months", Steves says.
"Well if your sure then ok", Tani answers.
"Steve why can't you pay for dinner?" Danny asks
"Shut up Danny," Steve tells Danny.
