A few days later.
"Momma I missed you." Ella said sitting on the counter.
"I missed you too princess." Kate smiled bopping her little noise. "You ready to pour the rice krispies in the bowl?"
"Yeah I big I do it." Ella smiled holding up the measuring up with the cereal in it.
Kate took the hot mixture off the burner as Ella poured the cup in using both her little hands. Kate then started stirring it all together.
"We put dese on dem Momma?" Ella asked picking up the container of sprinkles.
"Yes we are sweet heart. Everything is better with sprinkles." She smiled at her daughter who was giggling.
"Yep." She smiled as Kate then started to put it in the other pan for it to set.
"Momma I wakie now." Jaxon said coming into the kitchen with out his clothes or diaper.
"Brover you nakie again." Ella said shaking her head as she took the wooden spoon to stir more.
"I feeee!" He giggled coming over to Kate.
"That you are but we need to put some clothes on. Where is your diaper?" She asked.
"It yuckie." He pointed.
"Was it wet?" Kate asked as she finished putting the rice crispy treats in the pan.
"Yeah yuckie." He said holding his nose.
Kate washed her hands off then went into the living room and saw Jaxon's diaper on the floor. She tossed it in the trash then scooped him up and was giving him kisses.
"Momma!" He giggled.
"You Mr. Man need a diaper on that little booty of yours." Kate said laying him on the floor. She was tickling him as he giggled and wiggled. Any time her children laughed it melted Kate's hear. She then put a new clean diaper on him. "There all done my Mr. man!"
"I pay now?" He asked.
"Yes you can play now." She smiled watching him go over and play with his toy cars.
Kate went back into the kitchen and was helping Ella put the sprinkles on the treats. When Seth got home, Jaxon ran to the door to greet him.
"Daddy you home." Jaxon said.
"I am home my boy. Where is Momma?" Seth asked as he pointed to the living room.
"More." Ella giggled.
"You think we need more sprinkles?" Kate smiled as Seth came into the kitchen.
"Yeah." Ella giggled.
"HI my lovely ladies." Seth said kissing the top of Ella's head and then kissing Kate's cheek.
As she glanced at him.
"Hi Daddy we dot sprinkles." Ella said showing him.
"I see princess. Looks yummy."
"How was the gym today?" Kate asked as she turned to check on the dinner she was making.
"It was good. This group of students are very competitive. What did you and the kids to today?" Seth asked as he helped Ella down off the counter and she ran to play with her little brother.
"We played outside. I caught up on the laundry since I think every towel in the house was dirty. Then I washed all your clothes in the hamper. Since I know you are leaving first thing tomorrow morning for the house shows." She said as she continued to make dinner.
"Flight at 6 am." Seth said moving closer to Kate putting his hand on her hip. "Hmm smells really good."
"Dinner should be done by the time you are done showering." Kate said looking at Seth.
"Are you gonna let me kiss you?" Seth asked looking at his wife.
"I did when you came in and kissed my cheek." She stated.
"Katie please that's not what I meant." He said touching her face softly.
"Seth we'll talk but right now I have to get the kids their dinner. You shower and it will be done by the time you're done."
"I do love you Kate Rollins. Despite what you are thinking I do love you." He said as he went to go shower.
Kate was still in the kitchen finishing up dinner and making the kids plates. A million things were going through her mind. The conversation she had with Moxley over the last several days. The small talk her and Seth had the hour they spent together today. She didn't truly know what he wanted and she wasn't totally sure what is it she wanted either. When her phone went off she glanced and saw a text message from Moxley.
"Rented that house in Jackonville for the next month or so. You and kiddos can join me anytime!"
"LOL I am sure you don't want two kids crashing your good time." She sent.
"Hey Jax can be my wing man. I am game if you are! Please just think about time."
"Thinking about!" She sent with a winking face.
As he sent a winking face back. Kate just laughed at her friend. She finished getting the kids plates all done. She called them in and had them wash their hands then got Jaxon set up in his high chair and then got Ella set in her booster chair. She handed them their plates. Seth came in and smiled at his family as Kate handed him his fixed plate with a side salad.
"Thank you baby." He smiled sitting at the table with the kids. While Kate finished getting her plate fixed and joined them at the table. They started eating dinner.
"Is that just pasta?" Seth asked looking at Jaxon's plate.
"Pasta and butter and a little chicken cut up in the side. Ella's is just the pasta and butter. She doesn't like the chicken or sauce." Kate explained taking a bite of her.
"It's really good chicken Parmesan." Seth said taking a bit of his.
"Thank you. I think Ella just doesn't like the tomato taste and Jaxon I think he just follows his sister. But at least he's eating the chicken." Kate said looking over at her kids who were eating their dinner.
"That's good. I know while you were gone Ella didn't want to eat much for me or my mom." Seth said.
"She's just a picky eater. She likes what she likes. Sometimes I can get her to try new things but it's rare she just has to be in the mood for it. Right princess." Kate said looking over at her daughter.
As She smiled. "Will you at least try a bite of my chicken?" Kate asked her.
"I try just wittle piece." Ella said as Kate cut a small piece of her chicken up making sure it had a little melted cheese on it and fed it to her. Ella ate it. "Do you like it?"
"It good. But I wikes dis." She said putting a pasta in her mouth.
"At least she tried it small steps I guess." Seth said as he continued to eat.
Kate nodded in agreement as she ate as well helping Jaxon who was very independent.
That evening Seth played with the kids while Kate cleaned up the kitchen. When she was finished they cuddled on the couch Ella cuddling in between Seth and Kate while Jaxon was on her lap. They watched a movie and soon the kids feel asleep.
"Want me to take them up stairs?" Seth asked softly breaking the silence.
"I can take Ella if you take Jaxon?" Kate offered.
Seth nodded and took Jaxon upstairs changed his diaper and put him to bed. While Kate put Ella to bed and kissed her little cheek watching her sleep a few minutes before glancing in on Jaxon who was sound asleep. She watched him a few minutes as well before she went into the bed room and was getting ready for bed. She grabbed her pillow and extra blanket heading down to the couch.
"Katie?" Seth questioned as he was fixing his pillow on the bed.
"I couldn't really make you sleep on the couch again tonight. Since you have an earlier flight I will take the couch." Kate stated.
"Sleep in here with me please." Seth said looking at his wife.
"Seth I just don't know. I am not ready to sleep with you far from that." Kate said being honest with him.
"I wasn't talking about sex Kate. I just want you to be close to me. I want to just talk with you. I feel like we haven't really talked since you got home Thursday."
"We tried to talk but I don't think you are being honest with me." Kate answered truthfully.
"Just come sit on the bed with me and we can talk." Seth said getting into the bed and patting Kate's side. She hesitated at first but then got into bed next to her husband. "Kate I can't say I am sorry enough I know I hurt you."
"Seth it's not that you haven't said sorry. You've said it a lot. I know you seem sorry but it's your actions after you say it. You told me you wanted to work on our marriage and I believed you. We've been through hell and we came out the other side. So I thought this would be the same we'd get through this. I know I haven't made it easy but you sleeping with another woman that I could probably forgive because we all know my past. But it's the fact that you chose to talk to Becky and have a relationship with her that hurt me the most. This wasn't a one time thing Seth. You were sleeping with her and hanging out. I was dumb not to notice but when I was home on bed rest pregnant with our son I thought I could trust you. That turned out to be the furthest thing from the truth." Kate said looking over at Seth as he grabbed her hand and held it in his.
"That wasn't my best moment. I know that. I wish I could explain why." Seth said rubbing his hand with hers.
"Try please try to help me understand." Kate said. "And don't say it was to scratch and itch because I will smack you."
"Becky was there to listen to me. I saw how hard being pregnant with Jaxon was on you. I was scared that I was gonna lose you. I was blaming myself because I pushed for you to get pregnant with him. Ella was our miracle and you were amazing that whole time. I thought having one more baby wouldn't be that bad. But towards the end you being put on bed rest to save his life and yours. I seconded guessed myself and felt like if I lost you or him it was all on me. I couldn't live with myself so I turned to Becky. We talked about life and we talked about my injury after Trent. I was angry about that for awhile too. Once I got back in the ring there were things I couldn't do any more. I was pissed and frustrated Becky was there to train with me to push me to get better. Soon we just connected and my body was getting back to where it was."
"Did you fall in love with her?" Kate asked.
"Kate baby." Seth softly.
"Seth I need you to answer me. I asked you one thing I asked you to not have contact with Becky. I said if we were gonna work I needed you to be far away from her. You didn't do that you've done a work out video with her and Josh. You and her are in a story line together. So I just need to know if you love her."
"Yes. I didn't want to but yes I fell in love with Becky." Seth said looking away from Kate.
Kate started at her husband and sighed moving her hand away from his.
"I thought so." Kate said softly tears filling her eyes.
"Baby that doesn't mean I don't love you any more. You are my wife you have my heart. I didn't plan on falling for Becky it just happened."
"Seth I think we need some time apart. We really need to process this. I need to process the fact that my husband is in love with another woman." Kate said.
"What does that mean? I don't want to move out or anything."
"Seth I am not asking you to move out but we need time away from each other. I think it's best if me and the kids just go away for a few weeks." Kate said.
"I don't want to be with out you or the kids."
"I know but I've been thinking about this for awhile. I think this is what we need. Just for a little bit to really think about what we want out of this. Do we get a divorce do we go to a therapist what do we do from here? You clearly love another woman."
"I just don't want you to go. Can't we do that with you and the kids here?" Seth asked.
"I think it's best if we go for a little bit. I need you to let me process this information. You just told me that you are in love with another woman. I don't know where that leaves me. Do you want to be with her? You need time to really think about which of us you really want because Seth you can't have us both."
Seth looked at his wife who was in tears and touched her face softly. "I do love you Katie please know that. Where … where would you go?" Seth asked softly. "To your parents?"
"I know you do Seth and I still love you." Kate sniffled looking at him. "No Jacksonville. It's close to work and the kids can enjoy the Florida sun. I could never keep the kids away from you you can see them any time you want."
Seth just nodded. "Kate I just don't know if this is what I want."
"This wont be forever. Just a few weeks you need time to really think about what it is you really really want Seth." Kate told him as she leaned in and kissed his cheek. He put his hand back on her face and pulled her into a deep kiss.
"I'm sorry I don't understand, where all of this is coming from. I thought that we were fine. Oh we had everything."
