It is later in the day and in Las Pegasus, Sky Blue sits in his house. He hopes the best for the Mane 6 and hopes they'll succeed. He didn't get much sleep from the night before.
But, his train of thought is suddenly ruined by a thunderous shrieking roar. Confused, he looks out the window as storm clouds begin to gather, flashing yellow lightning.
He then rushes out of his house and looks to the darkening sky. Suddenly, behind him, a beam of lightning slices through a skyscraper. He shoots around as the rubble comes crashing down.
"What's going on!" he questioned himself. Suddenly, a giant, golden scaled dragon with three heads and two tails emerges, hovering overhead.
All three heads let out roars before all three heads fire beams of electricity, destroying and laying waste to Las Pegasus. Immediately, he flies off.
He looks back in terror as his home begins to crumble as the dragon continues tearing it apart and other ponies run for their lives, trying to escape. Knowing he can do nothing, he flies onward.
Now, he knows exactly where to go, again.
Canterlot remains in rubble, probably not being fully repaired for another few months. However, there is movement among the rubble, but it's not a survivor. It's Twilight.
She has a saddle bag packed with all the essentials for research. She is here on a very important mission...research Godzilla. She surprisingly finds no trace of him, other than his destruction he left behind.
She searches all of Canterlot's ruins, but soon finds a lead. She finds his massive footprints, which she only takes a quarter of in terms of size.
She follows the footprints into a giant cave, where she finds the King himself in a deep slumber. She sneakily walks up to his bulk, trying not to make a sound. Suddenly, he stirs and she freezes, but nothing happens.
She silently sighs in relief. But then, she notices a chipped piece of tooth that had fallen from his mouth. Seeing it, she put it in her saddle bag. She then notices a shed scale and she takes it as well.
Knowing this is a start for some research, she takes off back home before she wakes the massive beast up. As she leaves, she unknowingly doesn't know Godzilla has stirred awake.
He sensed her presence, but soon went back to sleep.
Twilight soon arrived back at her castle. She was about to go in when suddenly she was halted by a voice.
"Princess Twilight" a voice said. Suddenly, two pegasus guards: a Royal Guard and a Crystal Guard land next to her. She was about to address them when a famaliar call was heard.
"Princess Twilight" the voice called as Sky Blue flew in before crashing to the ground, exhausted from his flight.
"Sky Blue!" Twilight said, "You're back"
"Yep" Sky Blue said, trying to catch his breath before he got to his feet. The Royal Guard helped him up as he caught his breath.
"Take it easy, son" the guard said.
"From the looks of it, you flew hear long, hard, and fast" the Crystal Guard said.
"I did" Sky huffed, "As I have a warning"
"Knowing when you were here last time, it wasn't good" Twilight said, "But, what's the warning."
"You two go first" Sky said to the guards, trying to still catch his breath.
"Okay, what's the news" Twilight said seriously.
"I let Cadence know of the news, but it seems the Crystal Empire was destroyed by a new monster" the Royal Guard said. Twilight gasped.
"It was a giant dragon with three heads, two tails, and golden scales!" Sky suddenly said.
"And, it's heading this way" the Crystal Guard said. Twilight's eyes widened as an expression of horror spread across her face. But, she tried to keep calm.
"Thank you for the information" Twilight said before the guards were dismissed. Then, she turned to Sky Blue.
"Sadly, my home was destroyed by that creature" Sky said sadly. Twilight felt bad for Sky, but also angry and terrified, along with other emotions as this was all overwhelming for her, but she tries to keep her cool.
"Well, you are welcome to stay here" Twilight said. Sky smiled before the two went inside.
They soon entered the throne room where everyone noticed Sky Blue.
"Sky!" Rainbow said.
"Your back!" Rarity said.
"Yeah, I am" Sky replied.
"Do you have more bad news?" Applejack said.
"Unfortunately, yes" Sky said and everyone's eyes widened as they focused on him, "But, I think Twilight should share it."
"I have even more bad news besides Sky's" Twilight said, which made everypony more worried.
"A new monster has appeared, and it's heading this way" Twilight said, causing everypony to gasp.
"It is a giant dragon with three heads, two tails, and golden scales" Sky described, "It can shoot beams of lightning and apparently summon lightning storms"
"Great" Rainbow said, "Just great!"
"What are we going to do" Fluttershy asked.
"I'm afraid there's nothing we can do" Luna said.
"Wait, I have an idea" Pinkie said, and everyone listened in, "How about we have it take on the other monster."
"Are you crazy!?" Rainbow said.
"As much as I like that idea, we can't risk it" Twilight said, "As much as I think that idea would work, we have to consider a few things: 1. How much more destruction it would cause and 2. What if they teamed up. Consider Equestria doomed of that happened. I'm sorry, but it is too much of a risk."
"But..." Spike said.
"Enough!" Twilight said, "It's too much of a risk"
"Maybe it would work, if only we could achieve the monster's friendship" Applejack said. Suddenly, everyone looked at Fluttershy.
"Oh no" Fluttershy said, "I'm not going to risk getting killed"
"The fate of Equestria is in our hooves!" Rainbow said.
"Haven't you forgotten?" Fluttershy questioned, "I can't understand foreign creatures, especially big and scary ones." Fluttershy began to cower in fear at that last remark. It seemed all hope was lost.
"We got to figure out something" Starlight said.
"For now, everyone get rest" Twilight said, "I'm going to study these specimens, try to identify a weakness."
The others agreed and began to settle down for the night.
"Sky, you can stay here" Twilight said.
"Thank you" Sky said, "I won't be going back to Las Pegasus anytime soon, especially with it being destroyed."
As everyone settled in for the night, Twilight took her specimens to her library, where she had set up a little science lab. She pulled them out and began experimentation.
Meanwhile, the giant dragon has reached Appleloosa. But, this dragon goes by another name, a name that all fear, except Godzilla, who happens to be, unbeknownst to the ponies, Godzilla's arch nemesis...King Ghidorah, or Ghidorah for short.
Braeburn leans against a fence, half asleep as he was on watch tonight. A piece of wheat sits in his mouth. Suddenly, he is woken by a thunderous screeching roar that echoes throughout.
Ponies come out of their homes, wondering what is going on. He looks to the sky as storm clouds gather.
"Weird?" he questioned, "It's not the rainy season."
Suddenly, a ray of electricity splices through town, frying the ground.
"What in tarnation!" Braeburn explained. Suddenly, he felt an earthshattering thud behind him, causing him to tremble. He slowly turned around to meet the gaze of the three heads of Ghidorah.
"Sweet Celestia" he said coldly. Everypony looked in fear at the towering figure of Ghidorah. After a moment of silence, Ghidorah's head let out shrieking roars, causing everypony to scream and run about in fear.
Ghidorah's necks glowed, flashing like electricity. A pony stopped to see the spectable.
"Oh-" he said, but wasn't able to finish as Ghidorah's heads spat forth streams of lightning, a.k.a. gravity beams.
The pony was vaporized, along with many other unlucky ponies as well, before the heads raised up, the gravity beams going with them.
The beams slice through town, destroying houses and leaving behind splinters and fire. After decimating the small town of Appleloosa, the gravity beams died down and Ghidorah let out a roar in victory.
"You" a voice suddenly said. This caught Ghidorah by surprise. He looked back to see the smaller figure of Tirek, only about half Ghidorah's size. Ghidorah faced the smaller being, towering over him, glaring down at him.
"I see you have plans for world domination" Tirek said. This caught Ghidorah by surprise, as it was more than a lucky guess.
"I have the exact same plans, my golden scaled friend" Tirek said, "How about we team up, split up the reward evenly, and our goal would be inevitable."
Ghidorah gave it some thought. He wanted to only make the world to his liking, and wanted to rule over all. But, some help would be nice.
Hopefully in the end, this being wouldn't challenge him for the throne that is rightfully his, but instead be his rightful servant, bowing before the new king of this land.
Ghidorah then looked back at Tirek for a moment before glaring with a smile.
"Great" Tirek said, before he held out his hand. Ghidorah didn't understand what that meant.
"It's a hand shake" Tirek said. Ghidorah cocked his three heads.
"Here, you give me your wing" Tirek said. Ghidorah hesitated before he put his wing forward. Tirek then grabbed it by his thumb and shook it.
"That's a handshake" Tirek said, "But, in this case, your hands, or front limbs, are wings." Ghidorah didn't how to respond to that, but he just went along with it.
"Although, you are quadrupedal, so that would technically be your foot, or would it be..." Tirek continued debating, while Ghidorah's middle and right heads just rolled their eyes.
However, the left head began to wonder about Tirek's theory.
"Anyways" Tirek said, finishing his debuckle, "Let's begin our conquest of this pathetic world." Ghidorah then gave Tirek a look of 'Now you're talking'.
Their next stop however, would be Ponyville.
Author's Note: Trouble has now doubled as the threat level has increased. With no options at the moment, how will the Mane 6 deal with this terrible dynamic duo? The answer may just be one giant stomp away. Stay tuned.
But, while we're on the subject of Godzilla, it was Godzilla 66th Birthday November 3rd, while also Election Day. For all Trump people, sorry about him losing and Biden getting elected.
Don't get me started on politics. I'm the person who prefers to stay out of it. But, I'll tell you this, it's all BS.
And, before you say anything, another Prehistoric Pals chapter will be out, but not now. I'm just not in the mood right now to work on it, so please be patient, my friends. :-)
