A/N: I hope you guys are like the story so far. Please comment it will let me know how I am doing. Sorry for such a LATE chapter. I am back and this chapter may seem like the end but isn't.
1 month later Tani is home and is going to PT with Junior right by her side. Tani will soon be back to work, but Drew is still very angry that he was put away, and is the gang going to get revenge. Steve is doing better, and Danny finally lets him go into work every day. Danny has been going with Steve to his appointments. The two of them have always been close, but both want more. Lou's niece is in the police academy, but when her friend from back home comes to visit, will she get in some trouble.
At the McGarrett household, Steve just came back from a swim and is now going for a run. Danny hates when Steve does both.
"Hey, where are you going?" Danny asks.
"I'm going out for a run", Steve answers back calmly.
"Steve you just went for a 5-mile swim, and you haven't had breakfast. You are going to eat and then maybe I will let you go out for a run", Danny says pointing to the kitchen.
"Fine I will eat breakfast but I will go for the run no matter what you say", Steve says as both of them walk to the kitchen.
Danny cooks breakfast for the two of them and then Steve starts to get up to go for that run
"Hey you just ate that like a pig, you can't just go for a long run, sit back down", Danny stated firmly.
"I love you", Steve says.
"I love you too", Danny says back.
"Then let me do what I want to do, I will be fine," Steve says beggingly.
Danny then turns and looks at him and says, "Ohhhhh oh you want to do things that you want to do, well Steve those things almost got you killed and I can't lose you son of a bitch".
Danny then lets some tears fall
"Oh Danny you have to come to me when you feel like this", Steve states softly as he moves to comfort Danny.
"How am I suppose to come to you Steve, I need you not to be stressed, and I don't want to be one of the reasons that your stressed out", Danny says sadly.
"But Danny you could never be the reason that I'm stressed, do we fight and bicker a lot, yes we definitely do, but that does not cause my stress", Steve speaks softly looking at Danny's face".
Steve then moves in and kisses Danny.
"Wow", Danny says.
"That's all you have to say", Steve says back.
"What does that mean.", Danny asks.
"Do you want to be my boyfriend?" Steve asks Danny hoping he says yes.
"Of course you big baboon", Danny answers happily.
"Aww I knew that was going to happen", Tani says.
"Hey, that's snooping and why are you here anyway, aren't you suppose to be at PT?" Steve asks.
"I just got back, we got a case and you both weren't answering your phone", Tani answers.
"Ok and I did not clear you to work yet", Steve firmly states.
"Boss I am completely fine to work, and see I have this note from my PT person whatever", Tani says handing the note to Steve.
Steve then reads the note and sees that it's Quinn's handwriting,
"Tani you really shouldn't have Quinn right your notes since her handwriting is very noticeable", Steve states.
"Alright fine you got me, but please let me work, I am going crazy, Junior is driving me crazy", Tani says as she starts to beg.
"Fine, you may not do any raids that we may have to do during this case", Steve states firmly.
"Deal", Tani says happily
Tani went to the palace with Quinn and the rest of the team went to the crime scene. At the palace, the two of them were waiting for a call from Steve for information on the case so they can start looking into it.
At the crime scene, Steve was talking to Junior about Tani.
"Hey Junior, I let Tani come back to work", Steve tells Junior.
"Why Steve she is still in PT?", Junior asks Steve.
"Look, Junior Tani is not the type of person to just stay at home, plus this way she gets out of the house", Steve says to Juinor.
"I know that, which is why I want her home, she needs to rest", Junior firmly states.
Steve then puts a hand on Juniors shoulder
"Look Junior I know it's hard knowing that the person you love was in danger and was hurt, but when they start to heal it should be time for you to heal as well, she is going to be fine, and you need to let her do what she needs to do" Steve softly says to Junior.
"I know your right Steve, but she is the first person I love, and I don't want to lose her", Junior softly says
"You're not going to, she has all of us here, and you know we protect ohana", Steve states.
"I know your right, and I will back off", Junior finally says.
"Alright good, now its time to solve this
case". Steve says getting back to work.
They solve the case and decide to get together that night at Kamekona's food truck for dinner. Junior and Tani are sitting next together with Tani leaning her head on his shoulder. Junior looks over and see's Tani and he smiles because he knows he is so lucky to have her in his life. Danny and Steve are just bickering with each other like normal about how Steve does so many "stupid" stunts. Quinn is chatting with Lou and Adam. They had a great dinner and went to their respective homes.
