Several Days Later.
"Here is some more ice for your..." Kate giggled pointed to his back side handing the ice pack to Moxley.
"It's not funny woman. There is a huge bruise on my ass!" Moxley groaned putting the ice on it. "Brr that shit is cold."
"Well I can't exactly give you hot ice." She said.
"Haha! It hurts like a son of a bitch!" He complained.
"I know. I am sorry but I did warn you that it was gonna bruise and hurt. Besides it wasn't my idea that you and Brodie decided to crash through the ramp area."
"Hey it wasn't my idea this time either. It was all Brodie." Moxley reasoned as he moved around trying to get comfortable on the couch.
"Right blame Brodie." She teased. "I still can't believe you had me take a picture of your ass." She chuckled.
"I wanted a good look at my bruise." He shrugged.
"Fair enough but let me rephrase. I can't believe you posted a picture of your bruised ass on twitter. You made your fan girls day." Kate smiled.
"Well I guess I wanted them to know what a bruised tail bone looked like." He stated.
"And now they do and all the fan girls now have your cute ass saved on their phones." She said.
"That's weird." Moxley admitted.
"It's the way of the fan girls you gave them an inch they may just take that whole mile." Kate said getting comfy on the couch.
"Wait you think my ass it cute?"
Kate chuckled. "Yes you actually have an ass Seth's is flat. Now if I have to choose I say Roman's is the best."
"What the fuck really?" Moxley said with a smiled.
"What? I am just saying I was a fan of the shield too." She smiled.
They were a few days past Double or Nothing. Moxley retained the AEW World Championship in a hard fought match against Brodie Lee.
Kate and the kids had been in Jacksonville since Friday Night they were staying with Moxley at the rental house he rented. It was a nice two bedroom- two bathroom home. The kids seemed to be loving their time in Florida. Moxley even went out and got them a little pool for the back yard.
"I did just wanted to say Thank you again for getting the pool for the kids today. They love it." Kate smiled.
"I saw it at the store and thought what the hell kids need to cool off." Moxley smiled. "The park was fun too."
"Yeah the kids loved that long slide. Thanks again I hope you know you don't have to do any of this and if it's gets to much to have us here let me know. I can figure something else out." Kate said quickly.
"Kate babe it's fine. We've got this house for the rest of the month at least. I love having you all here. It's nice to not be alone. Also I haven't spent time with the kids in a while so it's nice to see how big they are getting. I mean the last time I saw Jax he was still drinking boob milk."
"Boob milk? That's mature." Kate chuckled.
"Hey no one ever said I was the most mature man in the world." Moxley smirked as he turned his attention to the screen and saw Charla who had just introduced Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. "Hell nah another interview."
Kate sighed as she watched the screen. She was over this story line already and knowing her husband admitted to her that he was in love with Becky made it even worse.
"Kit babe you alright?" Moxley asked moving a little closer to her on the couch.
"Yeah fine. Let's see this cringe worthy interview." Kate said watching the screen as Charla had already asked them a few questions.
"ME impulsive Becks come on tell them I'm not impulsive." Seth said looking at Becky.
"Did he just call her Becks and what the hell is with that God awful sound she is making?" Kate said rolling her eyes watching the interview.
"Him impulsive never." Becky answered.
"Wait wait. Let's look at all the facts here alright. Look we know one on one you can beat Lacey and I can beat Baron. But OK at Extreme Rules the stakes are raised a little bit because if you get pinned I lose my title and if I get pinned you lose your title."
"I would advise you not to lose my title." Becky Stated looking up at Seth.
"Well I would advise you not to lose my title."
"This is cringe worthy. Right? I mean it's not just me being petty because well my husband is in love with that bitch?" Kate growled rolling her eyes.
"Kate what? Did he say that? Did that asshole really admit he loves her?" Moxley asked.
"Yep. He told me the other night. I can't be totally mad at him I asked for the truth and he gave it to me. I asked if he loved her and he said he did. He fell in love with her. I wasn't enough for him I guess." Kate said.
"Well that is bull shit. You are more than enough you give him your love and hell gave him two amazing kids. He's the idiot here. I want to kick his smug ass." Moxley said raising his voice a little bit.
"Shh the kids are sleeping." Kate said.
"Right I forgot sorry." Moxley said glancing down the hall towards the room the kids were sharing.
"It's fine. Like I said I asked him to be honest and he was honest. He fell in love with Becky because apparently she's a better listener than I am. Just a better woman."
"Again not true. She is not the better woman. What kind of woman sleeps with another woman's husband?" Moxley scoffed.
"I did! Remember I slept with Shane I did the same thing Becky did. The difference is that Shane never truly fell in love with me. I mean he loved me or the idea of me but he never left his wife. He stayed and he just wasn't in the best place back then. But at the end of the day he stayed with his wife and I was the whore that almost broke that up." Kate said trying not to cry.
"Oh Katie I didn't mean …." Moxley started to say.
"Jon it's fine. It's my life it was all the choices I made. I don't blame anyone but myself. I made the choice to sleep with a married man and I guess this is my karma for that. My husband fell in love with another woman. I wasn't there like he needed me to be. So I guess that's on me." Kate explained.
"Kate it's not on you. This is Seth's problem. He should have been a better man. It doesn't matter if you weren't able to give him that physical connection he should have been by your side not tapping Irish ass." Moxley said.
"I don't know. Jon I really just don't know. I told him that we needed time apart to think about what it is we want. Do we try to work this out? Do I turn a blind eye to his love for another woman to save my marriage or do we give up and divorce? I just don't know."
Moxley looked at her he could see the pain in her eyes and it broke his heart.
"Kate I can't tell you what to do. But just know that I am here for you in the kids. No matter what I am on your side here. I am here to help in any way that I can. You are amazing I see how you are with the kids they love you so much and you are just a great friend. My best friend these days. You listened to me bitch at Renee and how she took my dog. You have been there for everyone else let me be here for you." Moxley said wrapping his arm around her as he placed his hand on her cheek softly.
"Thanks Mox. You are an amazing guy too. Screw her if Renee couldn't see that then that's on her. Oh and if you ever want Blue back I will go to New York and tell her to give you back your dog! He'd be better off with you any way." Kate said looking at him as Moxley stared into her eyes. When Kate quickly moved her head when she heard Maria Kanellis's voice.
"I find it a bit desperate you two calling yourselves the first couple of WWE" Maria said.
"We've never called ourselves the first couple of WWE." Becky stated.
"Because you're not! I mean you walk around here with your accolades and your titles. And Becky you beat the baddest woman on the planet Ronda Rousey. But I pushed an 8 pound baby out of my uterus. Let's see you do that. Because I think that deserves a pretty big title." Maria said.
As Seth stood beside Becky universal title over her shoulder as he pulled on his shirt collar making what seemed like an uncomfortable facial expression.
"And Seth you don't impress me either." Maria said looking at Seth who rolled his eyes and shrugged when Mike walked into the frame. "The only reason why your Universal Champion because my husband hasn't had the opportunity to take if from you. Your match against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evens isn't an extreme concept. But ya know what? I got one for you. How bout here tonight me and my bitch. Take on you and yours?" Maria said as she looked directly at Becky.
Becky just looked at Maria and moved in closer to you.
"You wanna fight? You want a little mix tag team action? Yeah? We'll slap the heads off both you dopes right here right now!" Becky said walking away. As Seth went up to the mic.
"Ya'll done messed up." He said.
"I think I am just gonna head to bed." Kate signed as it went to commercial break.
"Ya sure?" Moxley asked.
"Yeah kids will be up early I am sure wanting to get in the pool." Kate said getting up. "Make sure you to take that ice off in 10 minutes or so. Also I grabbed you that extra body pillow so you can elevate your side if the pressure get so much." Kate said looking at Moxley.
"Got it Doc. Kate listen don't let Seth get to you. He's the asshole here." Moxley said as Kate just nodded and headed to bed.
Moxley continued to watch Raw. The tag match between Becky/Seth and Maria/Mike wasn't that long as Seth dominated Mike when he forced him to make the tag to Maria. Maria looked freaked out as Becky faced her but she rolled out of the ring and grabbed the Mic. She talked about how Mike was suppose to protect her and when Becky confronted her she said she was pregnant. Then she went on to say that Mike wasn't man enough. The only man in the ring was Becky.
"This is so damn cringe worthy. Seth dude they got you by the balls." Moxley said as he glanced down the hall where Kate was now he listened closely and he thought he could hear her crying. Did he go to her or did he let her be? He wasn't the best in these situation but for tonight he thought he would let her be. "Seth you fucked up. You broke her heart man hope it was worth it." He said to himself.
A few days later.
AEW Dynamite on TNT was under way. Kate had a few minutes down time as she was on her phone checking her social media. As noticed she was tagged from a fan account of Seth's. It was a video of Seth and Becky at the live event over the last weekend. Becky had come out to save him as they both took out Lacey and Baron. Then they were playing to the audience as they reenacted a scene from Dirty Dancing where Johnny picks up Baby. Seth's music was playing as Becky ran to him and he picked her up. They were both laughing and having a great time as he kissed her cheek then it seemed he kissed her lips softly before the video cut off.
"Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch doing this iconic no pun intended part from the movie Dirty Dance. I wonder what Seth's real life wife Kate thinks about all this? A step to far? #SethRollins #BeckyLynch #WWElife."
As Kate read the post and started reading the comments. Many were talking about how it was just a story line others started to say it was clearly more and wondered if Seth was even still married. Some even accused Seth of being a cheater once again. Kate read a few more comments and wanted to say something in response but chose to take the high road. Apart of her didn't want the world to know about this yet one because it wasn't their business and two she didn't even know what their status was. She knew deep down what she just saw told her all she needed to know but she did hope a little bit that maybe it wasn't the end.
"Anything good?" Kenny asked coming over to Kate.
"What?" Kate asked looking up at Kenny as he brought her out of her thoughts.
"Anything good on your phone? You've been staring at it for a few minutes." Kenny smiled.
"So you were watching me?" Kate asked.
"Of course I was watching you. Better than looking at Dustin put on his face paint or the Young Bucks warming up for their match." Kenny winked.
"Are you trying to flirt with me Mr. Omega?" Kate asked.
"Maybe how am I doing?"
"Average." She stated.
"Ouch just average huh? I need to work on my game. How about we hang out sometime just the two of us?" Kenny asked.
"Kenny Omega are you asking me out on a date?"
"Maybe? What do you say?" He smiled.
"You do know I am married right?" Kate asked.
"I heard. Also heard things aren't all a bed of roses either."
"Yeah? How did you hear that?" Kate asked. "Does all of AEW know my business?"
"No not at all. I just asked Matt and Nick I wanted to know about you. Sorry Seth seems to be an asshole. Kinda always thought that about him. Look gonna be honest I don't know what really happened and don't really care. I do know you aren't happy so I just thought I would extend an olive branch so to say. What do you say go out with me no strings just one night?" Kenny asked.
"There is a lot to think about Kenny. But I will be nice and think about it." Kate stated.
"Well that's better than a No." Kenny said.
As Moxley was coming back stage with the AEW title over his shoulder. He wasn't cleared to wrestle tonight so he was on commentary. Taz the manage for Brian Cage the new number one contender had some words for the Champ. Moxley stood their and smiled stating this was gonna be fun.
Moxley rolled his eyes when he noticed Omega talking with Kate. He couldn't explain why but he was pissed and annoyed at just the interaction.
"Kit babe can you help me for a minute?" Moxley asked.
"Sure Mox." Kate said as she could tell Mox was walking a little slower towards the trainers room.
"Just say you'll think about it." Kenny said as she walked away.
Kate didn't respond just gave him a thumbs up.
Once in the trainers room Kate checked Mox's tail bone area as the bruise was still tender and a good size. He asked what her and Omega was talking about. Kate was honest with her friend and told him he asked her out. Which didn't sit well with the champion. After Kate had finished up with Moxley , she moved on to checking on Britt Baker.
Moxley left the trainers room and saw Omega first he was watching the rest of the show with Cody, Matt and Nick.
"Omega a word with you." Moxley stated.
"What's up champ?" Omega grinned.
"Can we talk alone?" He asked.
"Anything you have to say to me you can say in front of them." Omega shrugged.
"Fine! Leave Kate alone! She's not in a place right now for you to be asking her out and confusing her even more." Moxley stated bluntly.
"What? I know things aren't going well with Rollins so I thought I would take a chance." Kenny answered with a smirk.
"Kate and Seth are none of your damn business. Whatever they decide to do is between them. So stay away from her."
"Hey Kate is a grown woman here Mox. She said she would think about it."
"Let me be clear I was not asking you Omega. I am telling you stay the Hell AWAY from Kate!" Moxley stated before body checking Kenny Omega and walking away.
