Morning.
In Twilight's Castle, everyone was asleep...except Twilight. She has been awake all night, studying the specimens she extracted. Her hair was all frazzled, dark circles lied under her eyes, and her eyes were bloodshot.
She yawned as she was tired, but her research has made a breakthrough, but no signs of weakness for Godzilla. She learned a lot of things about the specimens she collected, especially the scale.
Suddenly, Spike walked into the library, and one of the first to wake up. Celestia followed him, along with Luna and the others, which Luna was tired as well as she has been up all night as well.
"Morning, Twilight" Spike said.
"Oh, morning, Spike. Morning everypony" Twilight said tiredly before she yawned.
"Have you been up all night?" Applejack asked.
"Yes, she has" Luna said.
"Twilight, darling, you should get some rest" Rarity said.
"I can't" Twilight said, "I haven't identified a weakness, but I have made some interesting discoveries." The three listened in.
"The scale has amazing regenerative properties" Twilight said, "I poured acid on it, and within minutes, it grew back fully."
"Interesting" Celestia said.
"So, we're going to have to find something that will rapidly destroy the monsters tissue to keep it from regenerating" Twilight said, "But wait, there's more. I also found this creature is highly radiation as the scale and tooth showed high radiation levels"
"Fascinating" Luna said, "So, this beast was made to make it almost impossible to kill"
"Apparently so" Starlight said.
"It's like this thing is the Scourge of Equestria" Spike said.
"So, how do we kill it?" Rainbow questioned.
"Like I said, we have to use something highly corrosive that will negate the monster's regenerative properties completely" Twilight said.
"Well, where in the hay would we get something like that?" Sky wondered.
"Sadly, we don't know of anything like that" Celestia said.
"And how are we going to get a large enough load of it to dump on the monster?" Applejack wondered.
"But, if the monster is irradiated, aren't you worried that will release the radiation from within its body?" Fluttershy implied. Twilight had never considered that.
"Well, we just need to find something that is highly corrosive and negates radiation as well" Twilight said.
"With what, we have nothing like that" Rainbow said. It now seemed as all hope was lost.
"On a more important note, what about that giant dragon?" Starlight said, "How will we be able to deal with two monsters"
"Equestria is doomed!" Rarity cried.
"No, no" Twilight said, "There's got to be something."
Suddenly, the castle was struck with a giant shake, causing everyone to get thrown to the floor. Suddenly, it felt like they were being lifted up. Then, all of a sudden, the castle tilted sideways.
Everyone screamed as they all fell down through the library door. They then crashed down through the castle doors, falling to the grass from a high height.
Suddenly, Celestia and Luna grabbed everyone with their magic and they floated to the ground below. Confused, they looked up to see the towering figure of Ghidorah. Twilight's Castle was within his three jaws.
Suddenly, he crushed it in his jaws before letting the rest plummet to the ground. The Castle's rubble hit the ground with a thud, leaving behind a pile of crystal.
Twilight had a look of disbelief and shock upon her face, her mouth dropped. Everyone else had the same expression, except Fluttershy who was cowering in fear.
Ghidorah let out a shrieking roar in victory before he looked to the side and stepped aside as Tirek stomps forward.
"Tirek!" they all said in shock.
"Aw, poor princess Twilight, now without a castle to call home" Tirek said. Suddenly, Twilight's look of shock slowly turned into a look of hate and rage. She then teleported just a distance away, flying at Tirek as fast as she could.
"You Son of a...!" Twilight yelled but was then halted as orange magic surrounded her. She tried to struggle free as she floated towards Tirek. His jaws opened as the magic was sucked from her body.
She yelled in pain as it left her. Her coloration left her and her cutie mark slowly disappeared. Once her magic was gone, he dropped her and she collapses to the ground.
"TWILIGHT!" the group shout. Suddenly, an orange aura appeared around them and they floated towards Tirek as well. Tirek opened his mouth and sucked everyone's magic, except Spike, since he didn't have any.
They all groaned and yelled in pain before Tirek had sucked out all of their magic. He throws them away before he begins to grow in size. Ghidorah watched as Tirek grew to his size.
Tirek let out a thunderous roar as he grew in size and finished growing.
"THE POWER!" Tirek yelled in victory, "Now, let's begin our true conquest, my friend." Ghidorah nodded with a sly smile before they began to stomp away. But then, he stopped and looked back at the group, who was now getting up.
Twilight weakly got up, along with everyone else. They all looked as Tirek came back.
"I'm not going to make the same mistake as last time" Tirek said before a ball of magic began to form between his horns, "Will you do the honors with me to end their pathetic little lives so they can't stop us."
Ghidorah nodded before his necks began to glow yellow.
Twilight and the others came together.
"Well, I guess this is it" Rainbow said, "It was nice knowing you guys." They all huddled together, closing their eyes and accepting defeat.
Suddenly, just as Ghidorah and Tirek were about to fire, a streaming blast of blue light nails Ghidorah in the chest. The force knocks him back onto his back.
"What the..." Tirek questioned. Suddenly, the same blast nailed him square in the face. He yells in pain as it knocks him also onto his back.
Twilight and the group opened their eyes as they wondered what happened and looked in confusion. Suddenly, a massive, five clawed foot stomps next to them. They slowly looked up as Godzilla stood over them.
Ghidorah and Tirek got up to face Godzilla. Ghidorah was surprised to see his rival here.
"Who the hay is this guy" Tirek wondered in his thoughts. Ghidorah stood up to his full height, glaring at Godzilla, spreading his wings, trying to intimidate his rival, but that didn't work for Godzilla.
But, suggesting by the way the two were squaring off was that they were mortal enemies.
Godzilla then rears back before letting out a mighty thunderous roar forward. Ghidorah let's out a thunderous, shrieking roar at his rival.
"Bring it on!" Tirek said before letting out a thunderous roar as well. He then charged up his magic before firing his beam from between his horns.
It nailed Godzilla in the chest and pushed him back, but he dug his claws into the ground, just stopping in front of the group. The group watched in awe as Godzilla protected them, but they knew to get out of the way.
Godzilla shook it off before roaring and charging forward. Ghidorah and Tirek charged as well. Godzilla, when he got in range, quickly swung around, smashing his tail into Ghidorah, knocking him back.
Godzilla twirled back around before his claws locked with Tirek's. They began a shoving match, and they were evenly matched. Ghidorah, meanwhile, spread his wings, slowing his knock back.
He then dug his wings and claws into the ground, slowing to a stop. Then, he roared before charging again. Tirek and Godzilla continued to lock claws.
Suddenly, he flung around, Tirek going with him before throwing Tirek the ground where the School of Friendship sits, destroying it and the hill it was against.
Ghidorah arrives and latched his right and left head's jaws onto Godzilla's shoulders. Godzilla roars in pain and tries to break free of Ghidorah's grasp, but fails to do so. Suddenly, his tail spikes glow.
The glow runs up his spikes before his dorsal plates flash blue before completely glowing blue. Then, an eerie charging sound is heard. Tirek is now back on his feet before he stomps over to Godzilla.
Ghidorah and Godzilla continue to struggle before Tirek punches Godzilla in the face. Suddenly, Godzilla's eyes open and he let's out a roar as a pulse of energy leaves his body, otherwise known as his nuclear pulse.
Ghidorah let's go and roars as it stuns him. Tirek yells in pain as it feels like his brain has just been rattled. Godzilla's spikes die down before he heads towards Tirek.
Godzilla bites Tirek on the shoulder, his teeth sinking into Tirek's flesh. Godzilla pushes him back, Tirek punching and smashing Godzilla, but working to no effect.
Godzilla then grabs Tirek by the horns before smashing his head into the ground. Godzilla feels Ghidorah's presence as he closes in.
Suddenly, his tail spikes glow blue before it runs up his back, the his dorsal plates flashing blue, before an eerie charging sound is heard.
Suddenly, Godzilla roars in pain as Ghidorah fires his gravity beams along Godzilla's back.
But, Godzilla looks back at Ghidorah with rage in his eyes and blue energy runs from his mouth and his mouth radiates blue as his spikes continue to glow blue.
Then, Godzilla turns around before firing his atomic breath forth. It goes us Ghidorah's body, causing a bunch of explosions as it does.
Ghidorah roars in pain before suddenly, he feels Godzilla hit him like a runaway freight train as Godzilla smashes into Ghidorah.
Godzilla pushes Ghidorah back a bit before pushing him over onto his back, letting out a roar in anger as Ghidorah falls. Godzilla puts his foot onto Ghidorah's chest, glaring down at him.
Suddenly, Godzilla feels himself being lifted up. Godzilla squirms, trying to break free, but it is no use. Tirek has Godzilla in his grasp.
Then, doing a hard throwing gesture, Godzilla is thrown into the Canterlot mountain. He let's out a scream-like roar before colliding hard into the side of the mountain, leaving a giant crack where he hit.
Godzilla fell to the ground, collapsing. Using his magic, Tirek causes a landslide that falls onto Godzilla, crushing him. Then, Ghidorah joins him by his side before they look at each other and nod.
Tirek charges up his beam and Ghidorah charges as well before they fire, decimating where Godzilla lied. After enough destruction, the beams died down and Ghidorah and Tirek let out thunderous roars in victory.
"Now, with that nuisance taken care of, let's continue to accumulate world domination" Tirek said and Ghidorah agreed. They then stomped away towards their main destination, Equestria's largest city...Manehattan.
Twilight and the others had watched the battle from a safe distance. But, they couldn't do anything, as the elements of harmony weren't available, and probably wouldn't work anyway.
"We've got to do something" Starlight said.
"Yeah, but what" Rainbow questioned.
"They at least defeated the one monster" Applejack said.
"It turns out you weren't right, Twilight" Pinkie said, "He actually fought them and didn't side with them"
"I can't believe it" Twilight said.
"That beast actually saved us" Luna said, "I guess he is not as heartless as we thought"
"Uh, hello, he destroyed Canterlot" Rainbow said.
"Maybe he did it for fun?" Fluttershy said.
"Fun?" Rainbow questioned. But, the more she thought of it, she enjoyed destroying things, "Actually, now that I think about it, maybe it was."
"But now, what are we going to do about Tirek and his dragon ally?" Sky questioned. Now, it seemed like hope was lost, again.
But then, Fluttershy noticed movement among the rubble where Godzilla laid.
"Look!" Fluttershy said. Suddenly, the rubble burst upwards as Godzilla let's out a thunderous roar towards the sky.
"He's alive" Celestia said in shock.
He then shook off the rubble and looked in the direction Ghidorah and Tirek headed. He glared in the direction with a growl before following them as well.
"He's heading after them" Spike said.
"Looks like the hope we needed was right in front of us the whole time" Rarity said.
"What about the citizens of Manehattan?" Starlight wondered.
"We've got to save them" Luna said. Twilight new the quickest way to get there.
"To the Friendship Express!" Twilight said. Immediately, the group ran to the train station.
Soon, they arrived at the Train Station to find the Friendship Express unpowered as the some ponies were working on it.
"Can you get us to Manehattan?" Twilight asked an engineer
"No can do, not with monsters running about" the engineer replied.
"But, we need to get there" Rainbow said.
"By order of the Ruler of Equestria, I command you to take us to Manehattan, NOW!" Celestia said, not having it. With that, the engineer didn't hesitate a moment longer. The crew got ready and the train came to life.
"Quickly, let's go" Twilight said. The group got onto the train and with the blow of the whistle and the rush of steam, the Friendship Express headed off.
Author's Note: Already, another chapter, along with the first fight between Tirek, Ghidorah, and Godzilla.
Now, Godzilla is Equestria's last hope as Twilight and her friends realize that he's not as bad as they thought.
Oh, and just to refresh your memory, Godzilla has his 2002-2003 look, like in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Tokyo S.O.S., with sounds from that incarnation and the Legendary One.
Ghidorah has his Legendary look with sounds from that incarnation and the Heisei one.
