A/N: Hello guys, sorry for the long wait, but I am back. This is going to be the last chapter. Hope you guys enjoy it. PLEASE REVIEW. (There is some medical stuff, and I am not an expert so please don't judge).
The team continues the search for Drew, but no luck. Tani is keeping her guard up and not letting up. Junior and Steve are too worried about Tani and keep trying to get her off the case.
"Steve she is going to work the case. I tried to convince her, and she very close to backing down, but she is too stubborn and has too many walls", Quinn says to Steve in his office.
Steve was turned away looking out of the window. "I see her and think her mom left her when she was little, and her father died. All she has is her brother and us. I knew that when I first went to hire her and I could see that she was going to the most stubborn person I have ever met", Steve said still looking out the window.
"Yeah, she is" Quinn laughing a little bit.
"I saw that she was broken too. Her
father had just died, and she was taking care of her brother. She never really had a chance to be a kid. She had to be an adult when her mother left. I guess what I am saying is that I want to be there for her and her being on a case where she is the target scares me to death", Steve said in a concerned voice.
Steve then turns away from the window and walks to sit across from Quinn.
"If it makes you feel better, I see her not just a friend, but a sister too Steve. You created a home and a family for her", Quinn says sincerely.
"Thanks, Quinn, I guess we better get back to work", Steve says.
Drew and Jackson are going over the plan. Drew is desperate to getting Tani back to him.
"Jackson this plan is not going to work dammit", Drew says furiously.
Drew is pacing back and forth.
"Well what do you want, you are being searched but the whole police department", Jackson yells at him.
Drew walks up to him and shoves him against the wall and says "You dumb idiot I know freaking know that. It's your guys' fault for leaving too much evidence to get me arrested. Your lucky that I don't put a bullet into your big and screwed up the head. Well, maybe I should ".
Drew lets go of him.
"Dude I got you. Let's create a new plan tomorrow. Let me go out and get us some beers and we can just hang", Jackson says trying to calm Drew down.
Drew then looks to him and says, "Yeah that sounds good dude".
Jackson then leaves but not to get a beer.
Back at the palace, everyone is rushing to find something.
Quinn comes out of her office looking for Tani.
"Hey, Tani".
Tani then comes of her office along with side Junior and Steve.
"What's going on?", Junior asks.
They meet at systems." Tani do you know this guy?", Quinn asks pulling up a photo of Jackson on the big screen.
Tani looks up at the screen and says, "Yeah that's Jackson Powers, Drew's right-hand guy. The only guy to calm down Drew too. He was a nice guy, but would do anything for Drew".
Right after that Jackson walks through the doors of Five-0.
"Hands in the air, right now!", Steve yells at him
Jackson puts his hands in the air
"I have come unarmed, and I am ready to talk".
Junior then takes him down to interrogation. Steve and Tani follow,
"Before you say anything why did you come here willingly?", Steve asks.
Jackson looks up at all three of them.
"Drew is getting uncontrollable and is not right. He is so focused on you Tani, and I am so sorry for going along with what he was doing to you. I should have done better.", Jackson says sincerely.
Junior walks up to him and tells him, "Damn right you should have. You let him beat her and use her for what as payday?". Junior then backs away.
"You know in the gang business either you're loyal or you're dead, it wasn't just about the payday it was about survival. Drew, he can get violent, angry, and impulsive I don't know why I was the one to calm him down, but I was, so I did what he said and followed him. Though recently he has been uncontrollable, entranced to getting Tani and his revenge", Jackson tells them.
"So you here to help right?", Steve asks walking up to him.
"Yes, I am as long you can provide protection for me. He has no loyal members left, but me. Although he has money and lots of it and can pay someone to kill me.", Jackson says seriously.
"Fine fine, we can get protection for you, maybe even less jail time, but you have to tell us where he is", Steve reasons with him.
"I don't care about the jail time, I care about my life", Jackson yelling at Steve.
Steve looks at him and says, "Deal then".
"He is at a warehouse in the port of Honolulu, in a storage container westside, I can't the exact one", Jackson says.
"It's enough, let's move out, Tani stays behind for a minute", Steve says.
Tani goes and waits in the hallway. Steve then follows and turns to talk to her. "Look I am not going to command you stay, but I would strongly encourage it", Steve says.
"Steve, I thank you for looking out for me and letting me investigate this case, but when I start a case I finish it", Tani seriously says.
"Ok then, let's get him". Steve says.
At the docks SWAT is there, HPD is there, and the Five-0 task force just arrived.
Steve then starts yelling out orders to search every single storage container there is and to be careful.
Tani approaches a storage container with part of the SWAT-team, and they barge in and there was Drew holding a gun right at Tani and shoots. The bullet hits her right in the side missing the vest. SWAT then shoots him. They yell for officer hit. Steve comes rushing over as fast as he can.
"What the hell happened, someone gets me a bus NOW!", Steve barks. Steve then starts trying to put pressure on where she was hit. She is bleeding too much. The paramedics arrive and take her to the hospital.
"Steve what happened", Junior yells.
Steve then turns around to face Junior
"I don't know, but let's get to the hospital".
At the hospital, the whole team is waiting there to hear words on Tani's condition.
"What the hell happened out there, why was no one with her? Why did she go in first?", Junior asks pacing back and forth in the hospital waiting room.
The doctor then walks into the waiting room to talk to them.
"Family of Tani Rey?", he asks.
"We are her family", Steve speaks up to the doctor.
The doctor then walks over to the team
"Tani is stable and is going to be ok, the bullet was a threw and threw. She will make a full recovery", he said.
"Oh thank god, thanks doc", Steve says.
They all sigh of relief.
2 months later
Tani is now fully recovered and is now back to work fully. Junior and Tani are doing well in their relationship, with Junior worrying about her a little more. Quinn and Tani are the best of friends and act like their sisters. Lou and Renee plan on taking a trip to Chicago to visit Samantha. Danny and Steve are going as strong as ever. Junior is thinking he is going to propose to Tani but is going to need everyone's help. What will come later for the two of them. Can you see them, maybe with kids!
