Dreamland

It's the same nightmare

Running from a bull with large fangs. She runs and runs but she knows how it ends. First, she runs thru a blizzard, ice swirling around not slowing her down, but the bull continues. Next is a wall of flames, she runs thru it without getting burned, the flames not even touching her but the bull still continues then finally a wall of thorns, her destination. She dives thru the wall and the bull disappears but usually, there's a rose garden where she lands but this time it's a grass field. Still welcoming and warm none the less. She looks around, the tree that she sits under is still there. She walks to the tree and is about to sit until she hears a friendly voice call her name.

"Blake!"

Blake turns and finds Ruby. This never happens before, she was well aware of how her dreams could be interpreted but never thought a literal manifestation of Ruby would actually appear. Before she could say anything, Ruby ran and hug her.

(she feels so real!) Blake thought to herself. Blake looked into this Ruby silver eyes who looked back at her on golden lovingly. Soon the two leaned in close and shared a sweet kiss.

Blake and Ruby sat under the tree holding hands laughing and exchanging sweet nothings. Soon a peaceful and comfortable quiet came over the two. To Blake, this had to be the best dream she ever had.

Then Ruby spoke with that same joyful tone in her voice

"This is the best dream ever"

Blake turned to her with a raised eyebrow

"Usually when I dream about you and something super nice happens I wake up. But this time... this time I could dream a bit longer to enjoy this"

Blake looked at her in confusion

"Ruby? This is my dream"

Ruby looked at Blake wide-eyed.

"wait I'm in your dream?" she got up quickly "how is this possible?" then she realized that she just shared a secret with her crush and turned red.

Blake got up as well "I don't know either, maybe it has something to do with our auras or… Ruby are you okay?"

"I just told that… I dream about you… but nothing… you know risky or anything, just, well like we would be dancing or being alone with each other that all. And I enjoy those dreams cause in them… I could tell you that… I love you a-a-and how much you mean to me" Ruby turned to look at Blake, a tear falling down her cheek.

Blake step towards Ruby and took bother of her hand in her own.

"It's okay Ruby. I-I dream of you too."

Ruby look at her with surprise. "you do?"

Then Blake explained her dreams. How the fire and Ice represent Yang and Weiss, how they try to keep the darkness away who she is forever grateful for, and how Ruby keeps the darkness out."

"How?" Ruby asks

"Like this" soon the missing Roses appear surrounding the two, Ruby in awe of the beautiful site.

Ruby steps closer to Blake and heard her say something wonderful

"I love you too Ruby"

Ruby smiled "we're walking soon" Ruby could tell.

Blake pressed her forehead against Ruby's. "It doesn't have to end here"

Soon the dream world went white.

…..

Yang got out of bed stretching looking towards Weiss who was reading a book but noticing two empty beds.

"Moring Weissicle, Where's Ruby and Blake?"

Weiss looked at Yang

"they mentioned something about getting breakfast, just the two of them. Also, they asked me about Dream sharing which I'm looking up as we speak"

Yang scratched her head. "dream sharing" isn't that a myth"

Weiss closed the book "that's what I said but they laughed and went to get something to eat"

Blake and Ruby soon grown closer and eventually revealing their relationship but they never really told anyone about their dream-sharing experience but they then chuckle and step closer to each other when someone talks about dreams.
