"M.. Mox." Kate moaned her body responding to his every touch.
They were making out in the kitchen. Mox's lips would move from her lips back to her neck.
"Kit!" He growled nipping at her ear his hands under her shirt roaming her every curve. His lips to her ear made her shiver.
Jon Moxley had always been her friend but something did change the way he was touching turned her on , his lips on hers felt right.
"Mox wait we can't." She said biting her lip stepping back the best she could as he already had her pinned against the counter.
"Don't worry I've got condoms." He whispered.
"Good to know." She said as they kissed again before shaking her head no. "Mox wait we can't do this we are both still married." She said out of breathe.
"Renee is already fucking others guys my marriage is over." Moxley said.
"Oh so is that what this is about? Proving to her you've moved on?" Kate asked.
"What? No this hasn't nothing to do with her. Believe me I am not thinking about her right now." Moxley said.
"What are you thinking about?" Kate asked.
"You naked!" Moxley blurted out.
Kate couldn't help but giggled. "Mox you know I care about you a lot but I just can't do this. I can't be that woman again who cheats."
"Seth sailed that ship. I want you Kate. Do you want me?" Moxley said pressing his hips to hers. "Please we both need this. You need this." He said touching her face softly.
"Mox you are drunk and I don't think you are gonna remember this anyway. I can't do the one night stand thing. I don't know what I want right now and I don't want to make a mistake."
"Sleeping with me would be a mistake?" He asked. "But you'd sleep with Kenny?"
"I was never gonna sleep with Kenny. So I am gonna forget you said that. Chalk that little line up to you having to much to drink. I don't want to ruin what we have whatever that is. First I have to talk to Seth and see where we stand before I even consider sleeping with you."
"I'm sorry. I don't mean to be an ass. Wait so you are considering it?" Moxley smiled moving closer to her.
"Of course you dumb ass. You are sexy as hell and so good to me and the kids. But I just can't knowing I am still with Seth. Please understand."
"I understand Kit I do. I just thought I would go for it." He groaned.
"Jon you're drunk you don't really want me." Kate said.
"How the fuck do you know what I want?" Mox asked.
"I know you aren't serious about me. I come with to much baggage. I can't be the one night fuck you are looking for." She said honestly.
"Maybe I don't want just a one night fuck with you."
"What are you saying Jon?"
"I am saying I want you Kate. All I know is that I want you. You standing their in front of me wearing this sexy shirt and your ass in those pants. I want you OK I want you. Do you want me Kate?" He asked cupping her butt with his large muscular hand.
"You are so damn sexy but I don't know what I want. One thing I do know is that when you are sober we can talk about this." She said as Mox's hands were caressing her breasts.
"Jon." She said looking at him.
"Sorry. Not really thou." He said with a smirk.
"So are we OK?" She asked.
"Yeah we're OK." He said walking away. "Just gonna go take take a cold shower since I am pitching a tent down here." He growled heading towards the bathroom. "Unless you want to help me?"
"Good Night Jon." Kate said to him.
The Next Morning.
Kate tossed and turned the rest of the night barely getting any sleep. Her mind racing about the events that occurred just several hours before between her and Jon. Did he really like her that way or was he to use the words of Seth just "scratching and itch". Was she starting to have feelings for him? Was her marriage to Seth over? Did they not love one another the way the once did? All these things running through her mind. Kate got up early and went for a long run to clear her head.
When she got back she showered and got ready for the day. It was now about 10 am and she started making breakfast. When Jon poked his head out of the bed room at the smell of bacon.
"Is that bacon?" He groaned stretching and slowly walking into the kitchen.
"Yes it's bacon and eggs would you like them scrambled or sunny side up?" She asked handing him a cup of coffee.
"Scrambled. Did you leave that bottle of water and the ibuprofen by my bed?" Mox asked sipping his coffee.
"I did you drank a lot last night and didn't want your hangover to be total hell." Kate said as she was turning the bacon in the pan.
"Kit listen about last night." Moxley said coming over to her and putting his hand on her hip.
She took a deep breathe her heart racing at his soft but manly touch.
"You … you remember last night?"
"Yes I remember last night. I am sorry if you think I over reacted when it came to Kenny but I told him to leave you alone. So it did piss me off. Kate I meant what I said our relationship changed some where along the line. I don't know where we go from here but just say your open to it?" Moxley asked turning her to face him his hand still on her waist.
"Mox you know I care about you and I agree some where maybe because we've been living together these last few weeks something did change. But I just don't know what I want or need. Remember this isn't just about me it's about Ella and Jax too. I have to do what is best for them."
"And yourself don't forget about your wants and needs Kit." Moxley said touching her face. He leaned down to kiss her again but they heard the door and the kids run in. Kate stepped away from him and put her attention back on the bacon in the pan.
"MOMMY! Uncle Moxie I back!" Ella said running into the kitchen.
"HI my princess." Kate smiled giving her daughter a hug.
"Hey little miss." Moxley smiled as he gave her a high five.
"Mommy!" Jaxon said running right to Kate with his arms up.
"Hey Mr. Man." Kate smiled scooping him up and giving him kisses which made him giggle.
"Dude what up." Moxley smiled ruffling his hair making him laugh.
"I missed you both so much." Kate said to her kids as Moxley was now holding Ella in his arms.
"Well isn't that a perfect picture." Seth said with a sarcastic tone in his voice putting the kids bags down near the couch.
"Hey Seth. I thought I was picking up the kids later?" Kate asked as she put Jaxon down. Ella jumped out of Mox's arms as they ran to play.
"Check out was at 10 so I thought I would just bring them by. Since we need to talk." Seth said going over to his wife and giving her a kiss on the lips.
Moxley took that as a hint and went to sit back at the counter sipping his coffee.
"I thought you were staying until Friday? Why did you check out of your hotel?" Kate asked.
"Vince asked if I could head the PC a day early." Seth shrugged.
"Oh." Kate said as she turned off the stove and handing Moxley his plate of eggs and bacon.
"Thanks babe." he said.
Seth rolled his eyes.
"Not even divorced and you two are shacking up." Seth scoffed.
Moxley just looked up at him clenching his fist wanting to say something but noticed the look in Kate's eyes he just ignored the comment.
"Seth how about we go out side and talk." Kate said as they walked outside in the back yard to talk. Moxley glanced at the kids playing in the living room then outside at Kate and Seth.
"Rollins what the hell was with that comment?" Kate asked a little annoyed.
"Kate what am I suppose to think? I drop our kids off and he's shirtless and you are making him breakfast. Seems to me you've made yourself right at home with him." Seth said with anger in his voice.
"The fact that you even think I could do something like that breaks my heart Seth."
"Wouldn't be the first time you've slept with another woman's husband." Seth blurted out as soon as those words flew out of his mouth he knew he was wrong.
"Is it always going to come back to Shane? We've been over this over and over. I wasn't proud of myself for that. You know how hard that was on me. You were the one who stood by me promising me you would never judge me for that. Yet here you are accusing me of doing the same thing. I didn't sleep with him. You are the only idiot I've slept with since Shane you know that." Kate explained.
"I am just telling you what it looks like. You said you need space and you ran to Florida and you are living with Jon Moxley. You are my wife Kate."
"I know that Seth but you are the one who slept with Becky. I am trying to forgive you but I just don't know if I can. If this was just a one night stand then maybe it would have been easier for me to understand. Hell I would have rather you slept with a ring rat than have a relationship with Becky. That's what hurts the most Seth is that you told her things you couldn't and wouldn't tell me. I thought what we had was damn near perfect. But I was naive to think that. I know we had our rough patches but I thought you of all people would be able to come to me and talk. But instead you ran to Becky you found comfort in Becky."
"Katie it wasn't like that at first. She was just easier to train with. I know cross fit is to much on your body so when Becky started coming to the gym with Claudio and Josh it seemed to just make sense. Then we just started talking I could open up to her about what I was going through. I didn't have to worry about how my feelings would up set her. She didn't know all the shitty details about what I went through with Trent and how it effected me. I could open up and just be honest and tell her." Seth admitted.
"And you couldn't tell me?"
"I didn't know how. Every time I tried it seemed like I was blaming you." Seth said as he reached for her hand.
"Do you? Do you blame me for what happened? How he took you out of action for almost a year?" Kate asked.
"I was angry he took a part of me. He attacked me from behind almost killed me. I didn't want to blame you but my thoughts kept saying if I had never married you then I wouldn't have lost that time in the ring."
"There is it. You blame me for him almost ruining your career." Kate said biting her lip as she could feel the tears swell up in her eyes. "Just so you know I blame myself. Always have and probably always will. I know it was my fault. But I thought our marriage was strong enough to work through it with therapy I thought we could get past it. Now I am not sure we can."
"Katie please..." Seth said his hand now in hers.
"I am not sure where to go from here Seth. Maybe there has been to much damage done. You admitted to being in love with Becky. How am I suppose to process that? How do I stay married to a man who loves another woman?"
"How am I suppose to just give up my wife? Let her go off and be with someone else? Kate I want you and the kids to come home. This being part isn't working it's driving us father apart."
"Being together didn't seem to work either."
"I am not ready to give up on us Kate I hope you're not either. I'll be back in a few days." He said as she slowly went into kiss her.
As she felt his lips touch hers something felt off and different this time. She wasn't sure what it was but it wasn't the magic she once felt. Was Seth and Kate Rollins marriage really over?
