I find it hilarious how different this is from the original. NONE of this was in it! It was supposed to be done at 40 chapters but not anymore😂
"I don't see how it's any of your business, Laxus." She answered. "I'm nothing to you anymore, so why are you acting this way, like I'm cheating on you."
"That didn't answer my question."
Lucy threw her hands up in exasperation. "I don't know! What does it matter?! Stop acting like this and leave me alone! I don't understand why you're doing this right now. You said you could find someone better than me, so stop wasting your time with someone who's obviously not worthy of your attention," the sarcasm that dripped from her voice wais shocking. "and go on to your better next fuck toy and leave me be!"
And there was the pain again, and it was getting worse by the minute, but he pushed in aside, letting his anger and frustration take over.
"Enough with the bullshit, Lucy!" He snarled pushing her back against the sink. "Are you serious about him or not!"
Lucy found that she couldn't lie to him. She couldn't say yes when she wanted to breakup with Galen, it felt wrong, like she was hurting Galen more by saying she was serious about them, when in reality she wanted nothing more than to end it, even if she would be lying to Laxus and not Galen.
Instead, she just turned her head away, eyes focusing on the soap dispenser, ignoring the way he hoisted her up to sit on the sink, legs unconsciously spreading to accommodate his waist.
Laxus leaned in, their noses nearly touching. "Earlier, during your little speech, you kept calling him safe. Not once did I hear mention of you loving him and look at you know, refusing to look me in the eyes and answer my question."
"Maybe I just don't want to tell you anything more about him and I, seeing as it's none of your business." She snipped before sighing, body sagging. "Laxus, please," the fire in her voice was gone, replaced by weariness. "Just go away. Stop this and leave me alone."
