She flinched before hardening herself once more, eyes blazing. "That's none of your damn business, Laxus! Stop with the jealous boyfriend shtick and grow up! There's no reason for you to be acting this way, like you care! I doubt you've even felt a difference now that I'm not your own personal bed warmer when the mood strikes, what with all the women you still no doubt bring home!" The venom in her voice stunned them both, more potent than anything Cobra could dish out, but that didn't stop Laxus from snapping back just as venomously.
"Oh, I've fucking noticed!" he snapped, his eyes faintly glowing as his dragon slowly slipped from its cage, small arches of lightning dancing around him. "Ive fucking noticed and I can't stand it! No matter how bad I try, how many women I bring home and fuck, I can't stop thinking and comparing them to you! You're always in my head and won't fucking leave! I don't understand what's going on with me anymore! I don't understand what this feeling, this pain in my chest, is or what the hell these feelings mean! I hate it! I hate that I can't stop thinking about you, I hate that my sex life is suffering because of you, I hate that I fucking miss you and I don't know why! Goddamn it!"
