The Next afternoon.

"You sure you want me to take them to Orlando?" Seth asked as he was putting the kids bags in the back of his car.

"Yes. I think they would really enjoy it." Kate said as she put a few of their toys in the trunk as well.

"What changed your mind? You seemed dead set on not wanting me to take them to Florida?" He asked.

"I just know you will keep them safe. I want them to be able to spend time with you. They've really missed you this last week so I thought it would be nice for you to get some extra time with the kids." Kate explained. She couldn't bring herself to tell him that she wanted them as far away from South Carolina as possible since her run in with Trent.

"You could always come with us. Spend time together as a family." Seth offered.

"Why Becky didn't make the trip?" Kate scoffed.

"Katie please are we ever gonna just talk about this?"

"What is there to talk about Seth? You got another woman pregnant. Me just saying those words out loud is ridiculous enough but it's true. My husband the love of my life is having another child and not with me. So I am not sure what exactly there is to say. Like I've said before Seth you can't have it all. You can't have me and Becky life doesn't work that way and you've clearly chosen Becky." Kate stated trying not to let those words break her.

"I didn't choose Rebekah." Seth stated.

"Well it sure the hell feels like that from my end." Kate said.

"Daddy I weady!" Ella said running out of the house with her stuff penguin and her little back pack.

"Hi my Princess. You look ready."

"Yeah I dot a snack." She smiled holding up her little baggy of gold fish crackers. "Bubby was stinky so Grandma changing him."

"Oh he was huh?" Seth smiled at his daughter.

"Yeah pew pew." She giggled holding her nose. "Mommy you tome with us?" Ella asked taking her mom's hand.

"Awe my sweet girl." Kate said getting down to Ella's level. "Remember we talked this morning about how you are going to go with Daddy and have so much fun. Then I will see you in a few days. This is time for you and Jax's to spend with Daddy."

"Oh. But we see you and My Moxy in a few days right?" She asked.

"Mox? Really Kate?" Seth scoffed. "He's been in town?"

"You know what Seth you don't get to stand there and judge me! You don't get to be mad at me for hanging out with Jon when you've been shacking up with Becky." Kate said trying not to yell in front of Ella.

"You're my wife Kate Lynn you shouldn't hanging out with another married man." Seth stated as he opened the car door to help Ella get in her car seat.

"Jon's officially divorced, and I am your wife Seth. But if that statement meant anything to you. Then you wouldn't have been with Becky time and again. You wouldn't have lied to me about being with her and you certainly wouldn't be having a baby with her." Kate said as she noticed her Dad coming out with Jaxon in his arms.

Seth didn't say anything as he helped Ella in her car seat. He glance at Kate as she walked over to get Jaxon.

"You alright Katie bug?" Ridge asked.

"Just fine Dad." Kate said taking Jaxon from him. "Hey Mr. Man. You ready to spend time time with Daddy?" Kate asked him as he was holding his sippy cup.

"Daddy!" Jaxon said waving to Seth.

"HI my boy. Looks like you've grown so much since I've seen you last." Seth smiled at his son.

"I ig." He said flexing.

"Wow you are so big." Seth smiled.

"You have a good time with Daddy ok Mr. Man and I will see you in a few days." Kate said giving him hugs and kisses. Jaxon was giggling which melted her heart.

Kate put Jaxon in his car seat and gave him a few more kisses and hugs.

"You both be good for Daddy OK? Mommy will see you in a few days." Kate smiled at both her children. She didn't want them to go but deep down she knew they would be safer in Florida with Seth than here in South Carolina with Trent around.

"We be good right Jax." Ella smiled at her Mom.

"Yeah dood." Jaxon smiled.

Kate smiled at her babies trying not to cry as she gave them a few more hugs and kisses before shutting the car door.

"Do you have everything you need?" Kate asked trying not to let Seth see her so vulnerable.

"Everything except my wife." Seth said looking at her. "Kate listen how about when you come get the kids in a few days we have lunch together just the two of us please?"

"Yeah alright. We can do that." Kate said as she saw Seth smile and lean in and kiss her cheek. Then he got in the car.

"Take care of our kids and keep them safe!" Kate said as she was looking at her kids in the back seat.

"Always." Seth said.

Kate stood their and watch them drive away. She couldn't help but feel the tears fall from her eyes. When she felt that strong yet soft touch on her lower back.

"I know this sucks." Mox whispered. "But they will be safe with Seth."

"It does." She said taking a deep breathe as she watched until she couldn't see Seth's car any more. "But I need them to be safe and as much as I hate Seth right now. I know he will keep our babies safe."

"We'll see them in a few days when we official move you to Florida." Moxley smiled. "It's not Vegas but it's just as warm."

"Guess that means you'll just have to spend a little more time on in Florida." She smiled walking away.

"You maybe right." He smiled smacking her ass.

"Jonathon Moxley you know I hate that." She squealed out a little giggle.

"I know that's why I do it." He smiled.

"Just for that I am gonna make you carry all the boxes by your self."

"Oh oh she's got jokes." Moxley laughed.

The next several days were busy packing the kids things they didn't have much as she only took exactly what she needed from the house in Iowa. She packed her stuff as well.

"Are you sure you just don't want to follow me down to Jacksonville?" Moxley asked the next day as his truck was packed with a few boxes of their toys and their clothes.

"I am sure. You offered to be there when the guys delivered the beds and couch." Kate said.

"Yeah I did. But kinda thought you'd be there with me." He winked.

"I will be. I am leaving first thing tomorrow morning and I am meeting Seth at 11 for lunch. Then I will be in Jacksonville with the kiddos by dinner." Kate smiled.

"I know but I was thinking we could unpack things together. Maybe you wearing those sexy short shorts and that sports bra."

"Jon." She blushed playfully hitting him.

"Always an option if you change your mind." He smiled putting the last box in the back of his truck.

"I'll keep that in mind. I promise I will see you tomorrow night." She smiled. When she felt his hands on her waist as he pulled her closer to him.

"I can't wait." He said as he leaned down into a sweet but passionate kiss.

Kate said her good bye to Jon then watched as he drove off. She finished packing car. She would be leaving in the morning to go to Orlando. She just wanted one night alone before starting her new life as what would be a single mom in Florida.

"You sure about this Katie bug?" Ridge asked later that night as Kate was sitting on the back deck.

"Moving to Florida?" Kate asked looking at her dad. He just shook his head yes.

"I am Dad. I think it's best. I can't stay in Iowa. I am not strong enough to watch my husband start a family with another woman. Not up close any way. I don't know if Becky is moving to Iowa or if Seth will be spending time in LA but either way I don't want a ring side seat to that." Kate answered honestly.

"You know it took all I had not to go give that boy a piece of my mind when he was here getting my grand babies." Ridge said.

"I know Dad. Thank you for not making it more complicated. Please know how grateful I am to you and Mom for letting me and the kids stay here the last couple weeks."

"Any time time. I mean that Katie bug any time. This is your home. I am sad you wont be staying longer. I've loved having y'all here." Ridge said looking over at his daughter.

"It's been nice being home. Letting the kids play in the yard and going down towards the pond. Catching lighting bugs in a mason jar. Not to mention Mom feeding them all the time." Kate smiled.

"That's what Grandparents are for." He smiled. "I have to ask why the rush to move out? Is it Seth or Jon making you feel like you need to leave?"

"Neither actually. I wasn't going to say anything and make it a big deal. But the other night when Jon and I were out to dinner. We ran into Trent."

"What? Why didn't you say anything did you report it?" Ridge asked furious.

"He was at the restaurant with some blonde. He said he just wanted to say hi. No we didn't report it because there was nothing to report. I am not sure if he knew I was there or what. After thinking about it that is why I let Seth take the kids. The father away from him we are the better. So please know it has nothing to do with you or Mom. It's that Trent is less than 10 miles away. I can't live in fear." Kate explained.

"I never want you too. I am so sorry you had to deal with that. Even all those years ago I should have known better. After your accident I am sorry I couldn't see how much pain you were in. Not just physically but mentally. I never realized how much he hurt you. I should have trusted in you more Katie that is my regret." Ridge said.

"Dad it's OK. I wanted to believe he was a good person. When we were in high school there were a few times when I saw his jealous side but I never thought much about it. It wasn't until after the accident that I saw him for who he really was. He wasn't a great person he tried to control me. So I got out. But even that wasn't enough. Years later he came after Seth. He almost killed my husband. I want to blame Trent for my marriage falling apart now but I know that isn't totally true. My marriage falling apart now is because of me." Kate said admitted.

"Why you? You didn't cheat on him." Ridge stated.

"No I didn't cheat on him. But I clearly wasn't giving him what he needed or wanted in a wife. That is on me. But now it's to late Dad I lost Seth and I don't think I will ever get him back. Honestly I am not sure I want him back as much as it breaks my heart to say that. I am not sure I can truly ever trust him he's not the man I thought he was either."

"Kate Lynn I can't tell you what to do and it's not like you've ever listened to your old man. But what I can say to you is just follow your heart. Be honest with yourself and with Seth and things will work out the way they are suppose to."

"Thanks Dad. You know you and Mom will have to come down to Jacksonville and maybe even come to an AEW show. I know you'd love it."

"We'll have to do that. See that Jon Moxley in action." Ridge smiled hugging his daughter.

The Next Day.

Seth took the kids to the performance center and while he was in his production meeting he had Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss watch them.

"Seth what is up with you?" Shane asked as Seth was on his phone most of the meeting.

"Nothing. Just wondering why I haven't heard from Kate. She was suppose to meet me for lunch but she hasn't responded to any of my text messages." Seth said.

"You did cheat on her. Why should she talk to you." Shane scoffed.

"I get it I screwed up. But you of all people being mad at me is hypocritical don't you think?" Seth answered.

"I get it Seth. Falling in love with another woman while married. I feel in love with Kate a long time ago and I would have done anything to keep her. But one thing I do regret is how I treated her. She didn't deserve to be the other woman. She didn't deserve to feel like she was my second choice. In all honestly she was my first. But I wasn't man enough to leave Marissa. I stepped aside so she could be happy with you. Watching you destroy that pisses me off Rollins. Makes me realize that you are no better than me. You broke her heart worse than I ever could. You screwed up Seth and now you have to live with that mistake. Just like I live with the regret of walking away from Kate and watching you break her heart yet again. Give her time and space and if she never forgives you just know you did that Seth. No one else made you cheat on her. The choices you made were yours and yours alone." Shane stated as he walked away.

Seth growled as Shane walked away. He knew deep down he screwed up and there was probably no fixing this. But he wanted to try. He still loved Kate but he knew he broke her heart. He got out his phone and still no text from her.

"Kate where are you?" He sent.

Still no response. He decided to call her and her phone went right to voice mail.

"Damn it Kate Rollins where are you?" Seth said.

As he text and called her again with the same result.

"Kate baby I am getting worried where are you? Please answer me!" Seth sent.

Still no response.
