The Next Morning.

"Daddy I want my mommy." Ella said as she was sitting at the table staring at her breakfast.

"I know princess. She will be home soon." Seth said. "Why don't you eat your pancakes."

"I not wikes them. They not like my Mommy makes them." Ella whined.

"Sweetie I'm sorry I tried." Seth said looking at his daughter.

"I miss my mommy." Ella said.

"I want Mommy." Jaxon said.

"You and me both kiddos." Seth said feeling defeated.

"Good Morning." Lynnette said coming into the kitchen. "Everything alright in here?"

"No it's not." Seth said looking at his mother in law and going over to her. "They both want Kate and I don't know what to tell them."

"I can't even imagine what you or they must be going through. My heart feels likes it's on fire for my daughter. But I have to believe that she will be coming home."

"Grammie I not wike dis." Ella said pointing to her pancake.

"How about I make you some fresh pancakes." Lynnette said.

"Like my Mommy's?" Ella said.

"Who do you think taught her?" She smiled looking at her grandchildren and bopping their little noises making them giggle.

"Thank you." Seth mouthed to her. She smiled and nodded at him.

"Why don't you go freshen up. I know Ridge was meeting with Mark and Walker. You should be there."

Seth just nodded and kissed the top of his children's heads and went to freshen up.

After Seth freshened up he got out his phone and saw he had a couple missed calls from Becky. He took a deep breathe and called her back.

"HI stranger." She said answering the phone.

"Hey. Look now really isn't a great time. So what did you need?" He asked noticing a picture of him and Kate on their wedding day. He couldn't help but smile remembering that amazing day.

"I have my ultrasound tomorrow and I was hoping you could meet me in LA." Becky said.

"Rebekah you know right now I can't do that. Kate is still missing. So please understand that I have to be here for her and my kids. Right now she needs to be my main focus."

"Seth but what about me and our baby? You know she is probably doing this for attention." Becky suggested.

"Katie would never do that. At first I wasn't sure I actually kind of thought maybe she did just leave. But after seeing her phone and knowing how much she loves our kids and me. I know in my heart she wouldn't just leave." Seth said.

"She already left you Seth. You said it yourself that she ran off to Florida and took the kids. I think your exact words were 'I can't believe she left me for Mox'. It wouldn't take much for her to just run off with out the kids." She said.

"That isn't who Kate is. She loves our kids to much to leave them behind. I know something is wrong. I didn't want to believe it because I don't want anything to happen to her. But I know now that Trent has her and I know more than anyone what he is capable of. I have to save my wife." Seth said.

"Seth you said it yourself you blame her for what Trent did to you. That you couldn't talk to her about it because she wouldn't understand. You said that is why we connected. Seth are you considering getting back with her?"

"Rebekah I need to at least try. Not only for my kids but for myself. I never stopped loving Kate I was just to damn stupid to be a man about this whole thing." Seth admitted.

"Seth please don't say anything you will regret." Becky told him.

"I have to go. I have to find my wife. I promise we'll talk soon but right now I have to focus on getting her home safely." Seth said hanging.

He sat on the bed and he took the photo of the him and Kate on their wedding day. As he looked at it tears started to form in his eyes as he remembered their vows.

"The year was 2014 and this young very beautiful medical assistant came into me life. I was captivated by you the second I saw you. I never truly knew what love or happiness was until I finally got you to go out with me. Which let me assure you was no easy task but it was worth it. Katie you make me want to be a better man. To be the best husband and father I can be because I know with you by my side we can do it all baby. So today I stand before you vowing my love and faithfulness to you. I will love you now until the end of time. I promise to always get you a strawberry banana shake when you ask. Even if we are in the middle of Scotland and there is nothing around for miles." He smiled and winked at Kate while giggles were heard from their friends and family.

Kate was in tears but giggled at that.

"Kate when you are ready." He officiant said.

"Seth! I thought I would have a million things to say on the day I finally got married. But you, you make me speechless. You still take my breathe away. I have made so many bad choices in my life and you just talked me through them. You saw past all that to see the real me. Sometimes when I don't even know what that looks like some how some way you know. You know the real me. So I stand here today in front of you pleading my love, honor and devotion to you. Seth I vow to be faithful and love you now until forever. I promise to support you in and out of the ring. I also promise never interfere with your love for coffee and if there's only one doughnut left, I'll let you have it." Kate said tears in her eyes as giggles were heard.

"To this day you've always let me have the last doughnut. I fucked up Kate. I broke our wedding vows." Seth said staring at the photo with tears. "How could I have been so damn stupid? You were the best thing to happen to me and I screwed it up. Shane was right maybe I never deserved you to begin with."

"Seth that isn't true." Ridge said in the door way.

"Oh hey. I didn't know you were there." Seth said putting the picture back on the night stand and wiping his eyes.

"Seth listen I admit you are not my favorite person in this moment. But I do know you love my daughter. You are a great father to my grand-babies. I still don't trust you but if you truly and I mean with out a doubt still love my daughter. Then be patient and try a hell of a lot harder. I tell you this only because I know how much you both do love one another. But I wont stand by and let her continue to get hurt. So think long and hard about what you want and work your ass off to get it." Ridge said.

"Katie said the same thing to me. The last time we talked she told me that I needed to think long and hard about life. I know I took her for granted. I had the most amazing wife and mother to my kids and I fucked it up. I will make things right Ridge you can best believe that."

"I hope Seth. I truly hope so." Ridge said.

Later that afternoon Ridge, Seth and Jon met up with Mark and Walker.

"Any news?" Seth asked.

"I stopped by Trent's parents house this morning. They said he's been working and he stopped over a few days ago." Mark said.

"That's it? Did you go to Trent's actual house?" Jon asked.

"I did a drive by. He's been staying at his Grandparents place. But there hasn't been much activity there today."Walker added.

"What the hell does that mean?" Jon asked getting impatient.

"It means he hasn't been there in days." Walker answered.

"So if he does have Kate it's not at the Grandparents house." Seth stated.

"Exactly. We know she didn't leave on that plane willingly but that woman drove the car there. My question is how did Trent get to Kate? Where did he get to her?" Walker said.

"I watched Kate leave that morning." Ridge said. "So she left our house fine."

"I talked to her right after she left the house less than 30 minutes or so. She takes the same way from here to Jacksonville." Jon said. "I told her I would be waiting for her because we were gonna go to Orlando to get the kids."

Walker and Mark nodded.

"Wait." Walker said looking at his Dad and then at Ridge.

"Do you remember the lake house his parents would rent out for the summer?" Walker asked.

"Yeah. He actually took Katie there several times." Ridge said.

"We had several parties there when we were in high school. It was the perfect place not to get caught." Walker said.

"So what do we do?" Seth asked.

"We would need a warrant for that place. We can't just barge up there and knock on the door." Mark said.

Walker nodded.

"I can." Jon said.

"And do what Jon huh? What if he doesn't have her there? Or worse he does and then kills her. Trent is not a dude to screw with. Believe me I know." Seth stated.

"Well we can't just sit by and do nothing which it seems you are perfectly fine with." Jon said.

"Fuck you Jon. I have been more than patient with you. I love my wife and I want her home safe. But we can't just do whatever the hell we want. Trent is dangerous man. I should know that asshole nearly killed me and hell in the process helped destroy my marriage. So I want to get him just as much as you do. But we have to be smart about this." Seth said.

"Oh look who now decides it's time to be a good husband. Where were you when Kate and those kids really needed you? Right out screwing Becky. You aren't a husband or a father Seth. You are just a little boy who never grew up. Kate and those kids deserve better." Jon stated.

" STOP! I don't know what the hell is going on between the two you. But put your dicks away. This is about Kate! She's been a great friend to me since we were in elementary school. So we all are invested and want her home." Walker said.

"I told you both yesterday this pissing match you got going on is not helping." Ridge said.

"Sorry I just want my wife back. I know how deadly Trent can be when he sets his mind to something."

"Yeah sorry. I just want Katie home." Jon said glaring at Seth.

"We need to be smart about this. Seth you are right Trent isn't in his right mind right now so we do need to use caution."

With Kate.

"HI my sweet pea." Trent smiled as he was shirtless.

"mmm." Kate winced and groaned in pain. Her whole body hurt from her head to her legs.

"You put up a hell of a fight sweet pea. But I knew once we got into it you'd remember how good we are together." He said cocky.

As Kate winced in pain slowly moving around she could see and feel the dry blood.

"S...shower." She said softly as it hurt to talk.

"Yeah I can help you with a shower." He said.

Kate slowly sat up pain radiating through her whole body. As she tried to stand she felt weak in the knees. Trent scooped her up.

"Hold on to me." He said to her as he carried her to the bathroom and sat her on the edge of the large tub. He started the water and put in the bubbles.

As Kate glanced at herself in the long mirror tears filled her eyes. She could see the dry blood, the bruises on her face and all down her body. She closed her eyes and couldn't help the tears that started flooding down her face.

"Shhh don't cry sweet pea. I know last night wasn't how you wanted it to go. But next time you'll know not to fight me so hard. We are meant to be together Kate forever and we will be." He told her.
