Omg so sorry for the wait! Life got crazy! Working 9-15hrs a day, getting a concussion at work, my family issues, which have only gotten worse. Life just won't give me a break, but I managed to write this out for you!

It's almost over guys! Just a hand full more of chapters planned out!

Laxus growled lowly, glaring down at the piles of paperwork littering his desk. He had been at it for three hours straight now and hadn't even made a dent, his mind to jumbled to even read more than three sentences before trailing off.

All he could think about was her.

She was constantly on his mind, more so than ever before now that he had officially let her go.

The dragon within him, the being that Bixslow has tried to explain to him, wouldn't stop bothering him either. Laxus growled once more, louder and deeper, as his head practically rubbled with the force of its roars.

He cursed Bixlow for making the Dragons existence know to him. It was as if a switch had been flipped. He knew about it now, and so all those instincts and whispers, those growls and urges, that he had always thought to be his own, made so much more sense. It now had a face. And he couldn't ignore it now that he knew. The damn thing refused to be suppressed any longer.

Mate, it constantly cried out for, Laxus' eardrums feeling as if they were on the verge of rupturing as it cried out in agony.

Leaning forward on to his desk, hands reaching up to grip at his head in pain, Laxus cursed.

"Shut up!" He demanded, feeling his canines lengthening in his mouth, his muscles contracting as if he were going into Dragon Force. The feel of scales catching on the fabric of his shirt let him know that he was dangerously close to loosing control.

Thought it all, the damn thing wouldn't shut up. It just got louder.

So focused on the thing in his head and the pain, he didn't notice when his door opened and closed, someone stepping into his office, coming to stand in front of his desk.

"Laxus, we need to talk. Now."

Natsu's serious voice cut through the chaos that was his mind, pulling him away from his struggles.

Slowly removing his hands from his hair, Laxus' eyes sharpened as they landed on the pink haired slayer, nose twitching as he took in a deep inhale, catching Lucy's scent on the boy.

And if he had thought his dragon was loud before, he was dead wrong, as it's roar of rage nearly rattled his brain, and any semblance of control he had left flew out the window as he lunged.
