It took some time, Natsu and Laxus both stubbornly trying to keep air in their lungs, before the need to breath and their vision darkening around the edges for them to cry uncle. Both falling down to their knees and greedily sucking in air.
"Alright then," Wendy said as she powered down, tidying and straightening her hair and clothes before flashing them a large smile -as if she hadn't just strangled and threatened to do so multiple times to them. "Since you most likely started this fight," she said turning to Natsu. "You'll be up first. Now, start talking."
"I didn't attack first!" Natsu exclaimed pointing at Laxus. "He hit me first!"
"Doesn't matter who hit who first. I want to know what the hell is going on with the two of you. Something's been going on for a while now and I know it has something to do with Lucy! And I won't stand for any of you hurting her or our Nakama with your fighting."
"All this wouldn't have happened if Laxus would have just kept his damn hands to himself!"
"You talking 'bout bunny girl and Laxus hooking up?" Gajeel asked.
Laxus' eyes widened. "You knew?" He questioned. "You both knew?"
"And you didn't tell me!" Natsu roared. "How could you not tell him Laxus was fucking with Luce?"
"It wasn't our place to tell you anything. It was their relationship and they'd come clean where they were ready." Wendy said.
Natsu scoffed at her words. "Some relationship that was."
"And what's that supposed to mean?" Wendy snapped with her eyes narrowed, not at all liking the course in which the conversation had turned.
Closing his eyes and turning his head to the side, arms crossed and clearly mad, Natsu's spat out words might as well have been the signature needed to approve Laxus' murder.
"Not much. I mean, if you want to call Laxus sleeping with Lucy and other women at the same time, and him breaking Lucy's heart to the point of her leaving Magnolia a relationship, then by all means, go ahead."
Cue the glass shattering.
