GT: *tuning a violin in a workshop with Z0 and SZ doing other things* Well, hello folks. If you're curious as to why we're in a workshop filled with violins instead of the studio, we had a bat infestation and had to call some folks to take care of them peacefully...and because Z0 and ON keep eating the heads off them.
Z0: I did it once and it was cause I was dared to copy Ozzy Osborne. O.N. he's doing his own freaky thing. I worry about him after I bet his soul away to hell for a week…
O.N: *offscreen* do we have any more bats that fried chicken recipe works great on them, needs more seasoning….where are you guys anyway?
SZ: *sits on top of a stuffed Behemoth corpse*...What? This thing gave me a pain for a year and a half!
GT: ...Well, at least we can use it for varnish. Well, as usual, we don't own Kamen Rider nor Skylanders. They're owned by their respective folks. Same with what we use to cross over the Riders worlds with. We only own OCs. So let's begin. *drops the screen*
1986
A young man hummed a random tune as he skipped along through a forest, dressed in a white salior's outfit with shaggy black hair. Groaning made him pause and look around. He tilted his head as he headed towards the groaning. His eyes widened when he saw a figure partly in the river. It was a massive mummy of all things! Its body was muscular and covered in white bandages with red Egyptian decorations around his neck and waist acting as a loincloth with bulky blue stone-like gauntlets covering his arms and a blue stone-like head.
"I've never seen one of you," the boy noted, seeing the burns on the bandages and stone, "Seems you were in a big fight, ne?" he reached out and grabbed the figure and dragged his large form out of the water, "There we go...You must not belong in there...you're a big fella...what are you...a Franken? No...no metal...but you don't seem like one of those Legendorga things either…" he tilted his head, "Oh! Maybe Jirou and Riki know!" he looked back down at the mummy, "Uh...You stay, okay? I'll bring back help. Because you may be a mummy...but you are very heavy, even for a Merman like me."

"So what do you think they'll be this time?" Tessa asked as Tsukasa and Kiina stood at the door.
"Knowing what we know about that weird veil thingy...It'll end up with Kiina in another skirt," Flynn chuckled.
"You first…" Both spoke to one another before frowning.
The two then began playing Rock-Paper-Scissors, then thumb-war, then they just began pushing one another. It ended when Tsukasa blinked and realized...he was taller and stronger. He picked Kiina up in a princess cary before swinging his arms and tossing her out the door. The purplette yelped as she landed on her behind and the veil went over her, replacing her chef outfit with that of a school uniform...with a skirt.
"Called it," Flynn chuckled.
"Back to high school for you it seems," Tsukasa stepped out next only for the veil to pass over him and his clothing to be replaced with a suit with magenta pinstripes, "Thank god...no school." he sighed as he took out his wallet, "Wonderful Blue Sky Organization?" he read the business card with his name, he then pulled out a card with the name of a business, "Café mal d'amour…" he read, "I guess that's where I need to go."
"Cafe?" Kiina asked, standing up while rubbing the sore spot from where she landed.
"I guess I get to hang out in a sophisticated adult environment...while you need to use your adorable baby face to intermingle with highschoolers." Tsukasa taunted.
"Hey…"
"You kinda do have one, Lil' Sis," Flynn noted.
"Big Bro~!" Kiina whined.
"But...If I know how this works...my job has to do with my being a Kamen Rider. Yours has to be with your talent to make friends with Riders…" Tsukasa spoke up, "Meaning...I'm probably gonna regret taunting you by lunch time."
"...Oh, that must have hurt you a lot to admit," Kiina giggled.
"I'm still the one in pants," Tsukasa smirked, earning a pouting face from her.
"Alright, alright. Ladies, you're both pretty. Now go do your jobs," Tessa ordered.
"Right," Kiina sighed, "Stealth Elf? You're up."
"Gotcha," the ninja replied before vanishing in a puff of green smoke.
"Cynder, go check on Spyro," Kiina ordered.
"He hasn't come out of his room in a while…" Tsukasa noted.
"Considering Kiina turned the entire basement into a copy of the Ruins, I'm not surprised he's down there checking everything," Cynder noted as she went off.
"We also took the opportunity to relocate all the still inert Skylanders down there so that nothing breaks when they come back to life in your bedroom, Kiina," Hugo noted.
"That's a relief. I love Tree Rex like a grandpa, but I'd be crossed if he or one of the Giants broke the house," Kiina noted.
"Come on, I'll drop you off at your school," Tsukasa ordered, picking her up and tossed her over his shoulder to carry her away.
"I do not like this!" Kiina complained as they left.
"I wonder what kind of Rider this world has," Hugo muttered.
"Probably dragon or bat-themed based on the backdrop," Tessa guessed.
Tsukasa pulled to a stop at a fairly normal highschool with the name that matched the one on Kiina's student ID. He took a picture as he let her jump off his bike.
"I don't think I need to tell you but be careful...monsters that look like humans are annoyingly normal for us," Tsukasa spoke.
"Yep," Kiina nodded, "You deal with that organization you're a member of while I..." she grimaced, "...deal with school and wearing a dang skirt...again."
"Just to be sure...how does the magic in the air feel?" Tsukasa asked.
"..." Kiina closed her eyes, "...I feel a powerful Dark Element in the city." she opened her eyes, "It feels...familiar to me."
"Since the Dark element is at best a neutral magic where you're from, that's not a thing to worry about," Tsukasa spoke, "But maybe here, you can use your abilities a little more freely. Something tells me it might be stronger at night...for an unrelated reason."
Kiina nodded, "I hope so. I've been missing some of things I could do easily back in Skylands where I keep getting tired from just summoning a single Skylander."
"Just keep an eye out. I'm not sure what monsters and what Rider lives here yet," he adjusted his helmet, "Suffice to say, keep an eye out for anyone...a little weird. Your role here is for a reason. Look for the normal signs of a double life. Randomly leaving class for no reason, secretive, lots of bad luck…"
"Gotcha," Kiina replied, "Now you go get to that 'Blue Sky Organization' place." she paused to giggle, "Blue Sky...I like that name."
"Hai hai...try not to get chased by monsters without me," Tsukasa spoke as he drove off. As he did, he looked to the side noticing a red bike parked in the school's parking lot. It was a very...familiar bike.
Tsukasa arrived at the only address he had to go off of; Café Mald'amour. Upon his arrival, he sat at the counter and put his business card for the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization on it. The owner, an older man with glasses wearing a hawaian shirt, looked down and nodded in understanding. He walked off as Tsukasa relaxed into his seat. He turned around as he heard the door open as a woman walked in. She was a beautiful woman with her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She wore a yellow top, blue skirt, and a tan jacket with a blue scarf around her neck. She walked over and sat next to Tsukasa just as the owner came back and put a flyer for a new Museum exhibit down in front of them.
"We have reason to believe a target will be here," he spoke to them.
"Ara ara...a newbie," the girl smiled, looking at Tsukasa.
"Kadoya Tsukasa," he replied simply, "Yoroshiku."
"Aso Megumi...pleasure to meet you, rookie," Megumi smiled.
"Hmm," Tsukasa smirked, "You go on ahead. I haven't had my daily coffee...Owner. Your best please?"
"Hai!" he smiled, hearing that simple polite command.
"Onore Decade…" Narutaki spoke, looking out over the city.
"You didn't do anything in the last world," a female voice taunted.
"I couldn't...Diend was there," he spoke, "He was waiting around them all the time."
"You were afraid of the thief?" she asked, "So what will you do if Diend shows up here again? I thought you had a stronger conviction."
"You are right. I can't afford to wait...but I can't afford to intervene too much...Decade has awakened something...the Legendorga are moving…"
"Seriously?! That's so lame...Guess I'll have to get involved if that's true. I like you...but my world's safety means more to me...so...bye-bye~"
"AH! Chotto, Kivala!" Narutaki panicked as a little white Bat flew off.
A Museum was preparing for a new exhibit of their new piece; an odd artifact that seemed to be old masks embedded into a large rock. These masks looked like mummified faces, which was odd since this piece was found near Japan. They set it up as their new centerpiece in the front of the Museum for its implications and possible changes to Global history. One of the workers moved up to check the stone, using a light to look at one of the masks. He swore...it looked like...it moved.
"GH!" he cried as two glowing fangs made of orange glass jabbed into his neck.
The color...began literally draining from his skin...his hair...everything but his clothing. His skin became transparent, see through...like glass. He fell as people began to panic and scream. The American man who oversaw the transport of the item smiled as stained glass markings of shades of orange, red and yellow with a spec of blue or purple here and there.
He laughed as his body began to morph. Changing structure into a monster. This monster's body was made of black armor-like skin. His torso was covered in these glass-like pieces of armor in the same stained glass pattern they ended in these growths of armor like a real monster. This armor formed a coat tail behind his waist and went down his legs. His head was made of black shell like armor forming an overlapping grill like visor with six orange eyes, with two horns forming bug-like mandibles atop his head giving the visage of an Antlion.
He shot his fangs out and 'bit' into a mover. But before he could fully drain him...he stumbled as sparks came off his shoulder as something struck him. He turned as more bolts struck him, he turned as Megumi walked forward.
"That's far enough, Fangire," she spoke, holding a small crossbow-like gun in her hand. Compact and meant to be hidden as a small everyday object on her person rather than a large illegal weapon.
Megumi ran forward as she kicked the Antlion Fangire only for the monster to grab her and easily pushed her at a table. The Fangire growled grabbing and tossing her aside across the ground. Megumi rolled with it however before she aimed and fired off several bolts that struck the Antlion Fangire.
"This way!" she called out while running off, challenging the monster to chase.
The staff watched as Megumi used a grappling hook extension of her weapon as a whip to strike the Fangire several times. The Antlion fangire let each swing hit, making sparks fly. The Fangire rushed as he swung and struck Megumi in the abdomen winding her, he landed another strike to her back sending her falling down once again. The Fangire laughed as he moved to summon his fangs to feed...only for a blast of force to send him flying back. Megumi looked up in surprise.
Walking forward was a man with slicked back black hair. He wore a black suit shirt and pants with a grey coat over him. A tie flapping around as he slung a metallic belt over his right shoulder. In his left hand was some sort of...large knuckle duster like weapon with two barrels to shoot with.
"Nago-kun?" Megumi asked.
"Useless as always." Nago spoke as he slung his belt around his waist, "Please move." The buckle was white and gold with a red stone in the center with gold lines pointing to his right, a box-like section with an opening formed to his left. He held the knuckle duster in his right hand before punching it into his left hands open palm pushing in on it.
=READY!=
"Henshin!" he spoke slotting the knuckle into the slot on his belt.
=FIST ON!=
A Golden cross formed in front of the Buckle as it flew out spinning and breaking apart forming a sun like symbol as a golden frame of a suit of armor formed next. The armorer overlapped Nago before becoming solid. Cladding him in a black suit which was covered in white armor. The white armor on his hips and legs were tipped in blue metal, with black segmented armor on his shin guards, his arms were covered in white gauntlets with black armor on the back of his gloves extending over his knuckles and armored fingers. His shoulder guards extended out with gold along the lower sides of each pad. His chest armor had a silver lining around a white shield like center piece with the sun symbol in the center. His white helmet covered his head as a gold cross formed a visor over his face. The Visor flashed and split open into four sections; two small cheek guards under his red eyes, and two 90 degree angled horns forming a crown, as a blue stripe formed along the top of his helmet. A burst of heat coming from him. In his hand was a gun like weapon with a red collapsing blade sticking out of the top, completing the image of a White Knight and his sword.
"Fangire...Sono inochi, Kami ni kaeshinasai!" the Rider declared.
"Kamen Rider...Ixa…" Tsukasa spoke while watching from a distance as he took a picture.
Ixa charged as he kicked the Fangire before swinging down, slashing it across the chest. He swung again, slashing it across the stomach. He rolled around the Fangire and slashed it across the back making him stumble forward. Ixa pushed down on the top of his sword collapsing the first half in and then the second half as the handle of his weapon extended giving the appearance of an extra long bullet clip in the gun. Ixa aimed and fired, blasting the Fangire in the chest with a barrage of bullets.
As the fighting went on...the stone artifact began to shake...and crack. The cracks spread till it fell apart as dust...leaving a humanoid figure. A monster that looked...like a Mummy. He was thin but strong in build, covered in golden metallic wrappings. It had a mummified face in its stomach, on each shoulders and each leg, each one decorated by blue wrappings forming flower like patterns on their foreheads. The monster's actual face was fully hidden behind a mask of wrappings with two red eyes peeking through, a crown of blue flowers decorated his head as golden hair dangled behind him.
He grunted as multiple copies of his mask floated off and flew around the Museum. The masks sought out people...before five of these masks latched onto the faces of five people, the masks dragged them back to the owner of each mask...before dropping their bodies. Everybody...had no face. Just devoid of any feature...as the faces of the victims took the places of the masks on the Monster's body. They all cried before their eyes and mouths were sewn shut...and turned into masks like the ones from before.
"My revival must mean that great man is also awakening. Yes...I can feel it...a dark power is awakening our Lord," the Mummy monster spoke to himself as he replenished his once depleted energy with the horrible act of murder he just commited.
Ixa and Megumi aimed and shot at the Fangire the moment he got up. His body was pelted by silver bolts and bullets making him stumble back. The Fangire grunted and fell over, passing out from pain. Ixa moved to finish the monster before pausing as the golden Mummy creature walked out.
"Another Fangire?" Ixa asked.
"Fangire?" he repeated as he kept walking, "Don't lump me in with them," he kicked the Antlion Fangire over as he stood over him, "Become my servant!" he declared as his stomach mask lifted off...and attached to his face.
The Fangire lifted up in an unnatural way as the mask...sewed itself into his face...becoming his 'new' face. The Mummy grunted as the wrappings extended from his torso. Ixa pushed Megumi away just as the wrappings snared around him and lifted him up off his feet. The Mummy began spinning Ixa around before tossing him away. Ixa grunted as he began falling down stairs leading to the entrance of the Museum. The Antlion Fangire lifted Ixa up as the Mummy slammed a punch to Ixa, ripping sparks off the impact of two dense materials.
"That's...a Legendorga?" Tsukasa blinked, as he pulled out a handful of blank Ride Cards.
The Mummy Legendorga roared as he stomped in Ixa a few times before kicking him away. Megumi ran to his side, Ixa however grunted and aimed at the monster...only for the Antlion Fangire to jump in front and take the bullets like a shield. The Mummy Legendorga laughed as he pushed his servant aside. Ixa grunted, getting up and swapping back to sword as he rushed in and swung only to miss, freeing him up for a barrage of punches to his chest plate. Before the Mummy Legendorga could reach for another attack he grunted as five cards flew into his chest making sparks fly. The monster blinked as Ixa and Megumi looked up at Tsukasa.
"You're a real cocky bastard aren't ya?" Tsukasa spoke as he took a few steps down.
"Who are you?"
"It's too early for my catchphrase," Tsukasa smirked, "I'm just passing through." he chuckled to himself as he kicked his leg out stopping the Fangire before he swung around and kicked the Mummy's punch away. He put his DecaDriver on as he ducked past them and stood in front of Ixa and Megumi, "Henshin."
=KAMEN RIDE: DECADE!=
"Nani?" Ixa asked as his armor formed, "A new Model?"
"No...This is mine and mine alone. No trades," Decade spoke.
"Ah...how wonderful! What an amazing color!" Megumi awed.
"Thank you." Decade spoke, taking his Ride Booker and turning it to sword form as he rushed and slashed the Fangire before slashing the Mummy.
The Mummy grunted as he swung at Decade, only to miss as Decade rolled around him. The Kamen Rider used his momentum to slam his elbow into the Legendorga's face, knocking him aside. Decade swung his arm out as he slashed the Fangire across the chest. Decade looked back and forth between the two as he walked to the side. He suddenly swung his arm across his chest and stabbed at the Fangire as it ran to attack him from behind. The Mummy gawked before Decade ripped his sword out and swung upward, slashing him across the chest and making him stumble back.
"I thought Mummies were more royal and noble...You seem pretty dirty to me," he taunted as he brought his sword close and ran his hand along the blade, "Soka...I'll call you Mii-kun." he went on, "Like the Japanese word for mummy Miira," he suddenly kicked his leg out, kicking the Mummy Legendorga before swinging around to slash the Fangire, "Ah no right...Don't name the monster...makes killing them harder 'cause you get attached."
"Sugoi...the Newbie is so strong," Megumi smiled, "He's even better then you, Nago-kun."
"Hmmm…" Ixa looked at her...before he rushed forward and slashed the Antlion Fangire across the back.
"'Bout time you got your second wind!" Decade spoke as he rushed and slashed the Mummy Legendorga across the chest.
Ixa slashed the Fangire across the chest several times before he grabbed it by the shoulder. He spun it around before tossing him down to the ground. Ixa pushed his sword in and began shooting the Fangire again as it tried getting back up. Decade slashed the Mummy across the chest as he ran past him, making him grunt in pain. Decade spun around and slashed the Legendorga across the back, making him stumble forward...and into Ixa's leg. The two Riders rushed and slashed the Mummy across the chest and back, making him cry in pain once more. The two spun around and aimed their weapons in gun mode before firing a barrage of bullets. The Mummy grunted as he rolled to the side. He put a hand to his face before unleashing a dark blast of energy at them. The two Riders grunted and looked to see both monsters had already escaped with that distraction. The only clue where they went? A pit in the ground like those made by well...Antlions.
"I thought he looked like a familiar kinda bug…" Decade muttered.
As this battle went on, it was spied upon by several figures. Cards on a table changing to show images of the scene. The cards showed a confused pair of Kamen Riders, another the Mummy Legendorga as it and the Fangire escaped underground. Three figures sat at the table, two adult men, one tall and built strong with long hair neatly combed back dressed in a pristine butler's uniform; the other man had wild hair and his uniform was worn in a relaxed and messy way. The third was the same young man in a sailor uniform.
"Hey this new pink guy is really strong! But...wait what about the gold mummy was that what I think it was?" the boy asked.
"Maska…" the tall one spoke slowly as he stood up and banged his hand on the table, which cracked...before repairing itself, "He's…"
"Well...If it's true. Then the countdown to humanity's extinction has just kicked off," the wild one sighed, looking at another card, "Well guess that proves your friend isn't a Legendorga though...only one of each has a certain theme…" he looked at the kid.
"I knew it!" he laughed, pointing at them both, "I was right! You were wrong! I was right! You were wrong!"
"Earth...humanity...extinction…" the tall one spoke up.
"Oh, right," he paused in his gloating song.
"Let's tell Kivat so he can warn the kid," the wild man spoke, "Riki, just to be safe...keep the Door of Time ready."
"Understood…" the tall Butler nodded as he stomped off into the mansion they resided in.
"Ramon…" he grabbed a newspaper and smacked the kid on the head, "Shut up!"
"Gah! Owie~!"
"Also...Sorry for doubting your weird friend," he sighed, "I guess he can take off that power restraining seal now…"
"Yay!" Ramon cheered as he ran off like a child who had too much sugar.
"Jiro...mistake."
"Shut up!" Jiro complained before muttering, "127 years old and he still acts like he's 65…"
"23 years."
"I dread those several decades…" Jiro sighed.
While Monsters and mythical happenings occurred with Tsukasa on his end of town...Back with Kiina, she was just about to begin her journey. Which sadly entailed...Home room.
"Hai-hai, everyone zip it!" a teacher called out, "We have a sudden transfer student today." the teacher looked at the door, "Get in here!"
"Yes sir!" Kiina replied as she opened the door and walked in.
"Please introduce yourself to the class." the teacher spoke as he moved to the side so Kiina could stand in the center.
"Oh! My name is Kiina Boomer! It's nice to meet you all," Kiina beamed with a smile.
"It is nice to meet you, Boomer-san, uh...ah Maaka!" the teacher shouted, making a girl panic at being called upon suddenly, "I want you to show Boomer-san around school, I'm counting on you."
"Y-Yes, sensei!" the girl replied.
The girl in question had shoulder-length violet/brown hair with deep gold eyes and a shapely figure that made her uniform fit snugly on her. The teacher motioned to Kiina to sit at the empty desk beside her. Kiina was quick to sit and cringed a little internally on hearing some whispers...most about her figure.
"Good now…" the teacher paused before gagging as he smelled something.
"Gang way! It's gonna blow!" a boy shouted, running down the hall. Everyone heard something that sounded like an explosion...before a yellow cloud slowly filled into the room...with an ungodly smell. At that, the door opened as a young man with brown hair which covered his ears and wearing a medical mask to block the smell, barged in, "I...am sorry…" he spoke as they glared at him, "Uhm...it's not...toxic...AH!" he panicked.
"Kurenai!" many of them snapped.
"It wasn't my fault! I sealed it tight before burying it! The seal cracked...I didn't think sardines would turn into this!" he panicked.
"?" Kiina tilted her head, 'He looks familiar…'
"Ugh! Everyone outside while the fumes are aired out!" the teacher ordered.
"Wataru…" the girl named Maaka sighed as he was chased around.
"Gomennasai!" Wataru panicked.
"...What was he doing that made this stink?" Kiina asked.
"Probably making violin varnish," Maaka replied.
"Varnish?" she blinked.
"Ah...Wataru-kun really likes violins," Maaka spoke, "His Father used to make and play them, and he's trying to make his own violin as amazing as the one his dad made." she explained quickly, "Demo...he doesn't know what they made the varnish out of...so he keeps trying crazy recipes to remake it."
"I see…" Kiina noted before giggling, "Well, this isn't the craziest thing I've experienced when it comes to hobbies of others. A few of my friends tend to cause something like this with their hobbies." 'Like Pop Fizz and his attempt at making a Potion to give someone the perfect singing voice resulted in anyone drinking it smelling horrible for a week…I just had to volunteer the night before Family Day at the Academy...' she sniffed at it and scrunched her nose, "Ugh...He didn't properly seal the sardines wrapped up in used gym socks."
"How did you…?" Maaka began.
"A friend makes potions and did the same thing, so I recognize the smell easily enough," Kiina replied.
"ACHOO! Oh no…" Pop Fizz squeaked as his latest potion began to bubble in the cauldron.
*BOOM!*
"Gyah!" Spyro yelped, falling out of the rafter he had been lying on and landed on his back, "I'm okay!" after a few moments, a chunk of ceiling followed after him, "...Not okay!"
"Honestly," Cynder sighed as she flew in before inhaling and spat out a spay of acid, burning away the chunk off Spyro, letting him get up and shook off the bits of acid on him, "I've been looking for you for an hour now."
"Sorry," Spyro apologized before holding his left claws out and his journal landed in it, having fallen from the rafter he had been on, "Was looking at my journal. Man, I was pretty awesome from what I've been experiencing."
"So this is why you've been so scarce around here," she realized.
"The Boss tends to handle most of the monsters and world ending threats...and death threats on his own..." Spyro muttered.
"Not really," Cynder noted, "True, he handles the leaders of them, but we're always there helping out in any way we can." she wrapped a wing over him, "Think of it. If we weren't there, that monster back when we met Yusuke would've gotten down to the city with its smoke to turn the people into more of its kind."
"Yeah…"
"And if we hadn't gone with him to Smart-Brain, he'd have been swarmed with all those Orphnochs and might have been too tired to fight off their leader," Cynder added.
"Maybe…And it's true that the Boss doesn't tell anyone when he gets tired…"
"And who knows what would've happened before Tsukasa showed up if Kiina hadn't had me hide in her shadow yesterday for that cook off," Cynder noted.
"Hmm…" he muttered.
"Or that Kaitoh guy…"
"Wait...who?" Spyro blinked.
"Kaitoh...this thief who knows Tsukasa...turns into a Rider called DiEnd…"
"..." Spyro took a moment to let that sink in...before he passed out.
"Spyro!" Cynder gasped.
"They really call this kind of evacuation a 'Kurenai Drill?'" Kiina asked.
"Uhn. All the times his attempts at making varnish in school results in something like this are called a 'Kurenai Drill,'" Maaka confirmed.
"Karin..." Wataru's voice called as they looked up to see him taped up to the ceiling, "Uh...It...happened again when they caught me...help?"
"Not again…" Maaka sighed before blinking when Kiina walked into one of the evacuated classrooms, "Hm?"
"Heave-ho!" Kiina declared as she picked up a desk and brought it outside before putting it under Wataru and climbed onto it to help him, "Honestly, this is a waste of tape and also damages the ceiling."
"Thank you…" he sighed, climbing down and jumping to the floor, "I'm sorry for the trouble I caused…" he bowed to them, well given who he was facing mostly to Karin Maaka.
"It's not the strangest thing in my life," Kiina shrugged.
"Ah...wait...do I know you?" Wataru asked, confused.
Wataru and Kiina stared at one another for a long moment in confusion. The two just hummed as they kept racking their brains to try and figure it out...but...to zero avail. The two shrugged as they realized neither could figure it out. Karin looked at them as she came to the realization both were more than a little odd. But nothing she wasn't new to.
"Well since Wataru-kun kinda canceled school..." Karin spoke, "I guess we'll have to save showing you around for another time."
"Seems like," Kiina noted, "And I can finally get out of this infuriating thing."
"Eh?" Wataru and Karin tilted their heads.
"This skirt," Kiina replied, her nose scrunching, "I loathe them. Give me shorts and pants any day of the week."
"I mean...I'm a boy, so…" Wataru awkwardly spoke.
"That'll do," Karin patted his shoulder.
"I wonder how Kadoya is doing?"
"I don't beat up humans," Tsukasa spoke as he and Nago arrived at an indoor mountain climbing range.
"Why bring up Sugimura Takashi?" Nago asked as they looked up at the man who was actually climbing.
"Ah...I figured you guys would have different responses," he grunted, scaling up, "But if you look at the file, you'll see why I bring you both into this."
Nago picked up a file on a table and opened it. It showed two pictures of the same man with messy black hair and glasses. In one, he wore an old orange prison uniform, and in the other a modern blue-gray uniform. But what was odd was that each was time stamped. The first one this year a few months ago, the other dated back about 22 years.
"A guy who hasn't changed his looks in twenty-two years? ...There's not even a sign of aging on him," Tsukasa noted, looking at the pictures.
"Exactly...We think he might not be human," the man climbing grunted, "He escaped prison three days ago. Oddest thing, he was surrounded by heavily armed guards at every angle...but suddenly...they all passed out."
"A mysterious dark power...ominous," Tsukasa spoke.
"A Fangire?" Nago asked.
"Maybe...but you two fought something different this morning, too. So...chances are, maybe it's something else. Either way, he's not human. That is what we are working on. So Nago who's a bounty hunter...and Kadoya-kun who is our new monster expert...together…" he grunted, clicking his harness to a spot, "Should be able to handle whatever happens."
"I don't hunt humans...but if he's not human, then maybe it'll be worth my time," Tsukasa spoke while walking off.
"Leave it to us." Nago bowed before he walked out with Tsukasa.
"Maybe...I should call Wataru and see if I can get him to take a break from school..." the man muttered, "We could use Kiva's help if this goes wrong."
"That was a very fast change…" Karin muttered as Kiina walked in...then immediately back out of the girls locker room, her school uniform replaced with a blue blouse and jeans.
"It's a skill my Ma taught me," Kiina replied, "You have to be quick at times when it calls for it." she blinked twice, leaning a bit to the left, "There's a little bat on that tree."
"Bat?" Karin repeated, looking over at the tree to see a small black bat on a branch, looking at their direction, "Ah! There is a bat!"
Wataru heard that and looked at his book bag. He opened and breathed a sigh of relief. Neither girl saw the golden bat peek out of his bag.
"Ah...Anju-chan is spying on Karin again…" the tiny and admittedly cute bat spoke in a deep voice, its large red eyes spotting the black bat, "I tell her she doesn't need to anymore...but that girl is just too worried for her older sister. I tell her Wataru can handle it…" it looked over at Karin before pausing on seeing Kiina, "Ah...Well this is quite the surprise."
"Ah well...Bats aren't a bad thing," Wataru spoke, "They are common around here." he looked at Karin, who seemed concerned, "Daijobu...I don't think Anju-san will be concerned about Boomer-san," he whispered.
"I-I know...but still...she knows she shouldn't send them to spy on us," she whispered back.
"It could be worse…" Wataru replied.
"Ah...Your perverted no-good brother could be here…" the golden bat replied loudly.
Wataru panicked as he smacked his book bag at that, "Cellphone...I must have left my phone on!"
"Oh, you must have quite a nice friend who cares for you," the two looked over to see Kiina with the bat now hanging on her sleeve while gently petting its head, "They must care for you a lot to make sure you're this healthy and happy. Though I am a bit worried. You have some bags under your eyes. Please don't overdo it if it causes you to lose important sleep, little one."
"Eh?" the two teenagers blinked on seeing that.
"Anju-chan's bats have magic...This girl also has magic," the bat spoke as the book bag lifted up, "Quid pro quo...It likes her just as much."
"Magic?" they both blinked out loud, catching Kiina's attention, "You have magic?!"
"...I didn't even pull out my staff or anything…" Kiina gawked after a moment.
"Ah...well...That's my little sister's Bat," Karin explained.
"He's like a familiar…" Wataru added.
"Ah...No wonder I've been feeling a little magic in you," Kiina noted, looking at the bat, "...Huh? Your little sister?"
"Ah well...How do we explain that…?" Karin realized.
"Eto…" Wataru began before the bat flew out of his bag and landed on his head, "Kivat?"
"No sense hiding anymore. Yo Mahou-Ojouchan, I am Kivat the Third," he bowed as best he could, "Please understand that the topic of Karin's little sister and her family in general is a sensitive secret...In that if her mother finds out...she will kill you...and then try and kill me and Wataru. So for all of our sakes...let's leave it at that."
"...Mr. Kivat!" Kiina exclaimed in joy.
"Hm?" Kivat pondered before she hugged him, the bat relocating to sitting on Kiina's head.
"Oh, it's so good to see you again!" Kiina beamed, "I still haven't thanked you for saving Tessa and I back in the Cloudbreak Islands!"
"Hmm...That sounds like me...but I have no recollection of such an adventure...Hmm…" he began sniffing Kiina, "It would appear the issue is I have yet to meet you. You smell like a person lost in time."
"Oh Déjà Vu is going to be very crossed when she wakes up," Kiina cringed.
"Let's keep it our little secret for now then," Kivat smiled as he wiggled free and flapped his wings to float in front of everyone, "So it would appear we shall meet you for the first time later, but for us this is our first encounter. If need be, I shall magic the memories from our minds after you leave to preserve time."
"I see…" Kiina noted, "Well, since we're revealing things…" she looked around before whistling a small tune, causing a puff of green smoke to appear beside her and reveal Stealth Elf, causing Wataru and Karin to panic and hold onto one another.
"Not even a few hours," Stealth Elf deadpanned.
"Ehheheheh…" Kiina sheepishly rubbed the back of her head, "Sorry, Stealth Elf. Still, look! This is Mr. Kivat! The one I told you about who saved Tessa and I from Kaossandra."
"An Elf...We haven't seen one of your kind for centuries in our world. At least not since the last war of Demon Clans…" Kivat spoke, flying around Stealth Elf a few times, "Amazing, so you must also come from another world, that is the only possible explanation. Father would have a cow if he were to learn of that."
"In our world, other Monster clans are kind of scarce…" Wataru explained, noting the confused look from Kiina, "It's a long...and scary story…"
"Vampires can be dicks…" Kivat summed up.
"Vampires? Oh, like Night Shift," Kiina noted.
"I suppose similar, but in our world Vampires have...changed a lot over time. There are two branches to them, the old Vampires who are human all the time and can't go out in the sun. And Fangires...essentially super vampires," Kivat explained, "Better powers, human and monster forms, and no weakness to the sun. But also evil...and always hungry for the life energy of others. In our world, the Fangires have more or less killed or subjugated most of the other Monster clans."
"Despicable," Stealth Elf frowned beneath her mask, "I take it that from their actions, it is 'Might makes right' to them."
"Ah...they are a bad lot. But not all apples are rotten from their tree," Kivat spoke, "But that is why I choose to stay with Wataru."
"Hmm?" Kiina and Stealth Elf looked to him.
"Actually...I'm...half Fangire…" Wataru muttered since they were explaining everything, best to be honest, "My Mother was a Fangire who fell in love with my father, a human."
"It's actually a rather romantic story," Karin added, "Wataru's Tou-san fought his mother's First husband to save her from him, as their marriage was just one of convienence,"
"However...to protect Wataru from those who deem half breeds 'disgusting,' She left her son in the care of some...interesting fellows." Kivat added, "So I chose to stay with this boy. I knew upon locking eyes with him as an infant, Yes! This was him, my partner! My brother in arms! My…"
"Kivat...we get it…" Karin spoke as she grabbed him to calm him down and shut him up, "I'm sorry. When he gets started, nothing will stop him."
"No, wait! There's more to the story! It is still filled with vital details of how our friendship and bond formed over years of me taking care of him more then the stupid wolfman!" Kivat spoke, flapping his wings to try and escape.
Kiina giggled, "It's quite alright. I'm used to those who tend to talk for long periods of time."
"Mostly through practice with her brother," Stealth Elf rolled her eyes.
"Hey, Flynn is not that bad…" Kiina pouted.
"Demo...What are you doing here...in school?" Wataru asked, "You're a mage from another world with Monster clan friends...So why would you go to highschool?"
"Well, that's a bit of a story," Kiina replied, cringing a bit, "Would you like to come to our current residence in their world? It'd help by having Hugo explain it. He does it a lot better than me."
"Hugo?" the two asked.
"Hmm...go home and wait for Karin's deranged family to ask about this...or go to our new magic friends place and avoid said crazy family…" Kivat spoke as he finally got free and floated over to land on Kiina's head, "I pick Kiina's place!"
"..." Stealth Elf raised a brow at Karin, who blushed while pouting at Kivat.
Tsukasa sighed as Nago proved his skills and tracked down Sugimura. The man had been hiding around a back alley under a bridge, where he seemed to rely on the scraps he could find. It went well, Nago walked over and yanked a button off his coat as part of some ritual of his for his targets. But to Nago's shock, the convict had some fight as he bolted off at full speed. Tsukasa yawned as he held his leg out and tripped Sugimura, sending him tumbling across the street.
Sugimura panicked as he ran over and took some woman's bike. How did they know it was a woman's bike? Well, the pink color could be forgiven, but the basket in the front for groceries was the bigger take away it belonged to a woman who was likely a housewife. Not that it helped given Nago kept up with him on foot easily.
"This is why I don't hunt people," Tsukasa held his hand out as a Taxi stopped for him, "Follow those idiots." he sighed, handing a bundle of money to the driver who saluted after seeing how much money it was, "And why take a button? It seems so stupid." he muttered...while taking a photo of the chase.
"Really...Your family are vampires?" Kiina asked, looking at Karin with a surprised look, "Wait...then that means both of you are...Vampires...kinda?"
"Kinda," Wataru agreed.
"Karin-chan has a bit of an...issue...with her powers, though," Kivat noted, "As you can see, she is able to be outside without burning up."
"Hm? That's unusual?" Kiina asked.
"Vampires in our world follow that rule," Karin explained, "Fangires, however, do not. Which is why they see themselves as superior."
"But that's what makes them worse as well," Wataru added, "They pick on other clans and treat humans horribly at times. It's kind of odd for me to say as a half-Fangire…"
"Well that's just rude," Kiina pouted as they got to her home in its current state, "Still...You existing proves that not all Fangires are like that, Mr. Wataru."
"True," Wataru spoke, "My brother is kind of different, too…" he smiled.
"Brother?" Kiina asked.
"Half-Brother," Kivat corrected, "Wataru's mother was married before. Taiga is the son she had with her first husband. Wateru is her second son with his father Otoya. Taiga is the current King of the Fangire."
"King?!" Kiina asked in shock.
"Wataru's mother was the former Queen...so I guess that makes Wataru the Prince of the Fangire…" Karin added with a smile.
"I...I shouldn't be shocked...but here I am, shocked," Kiina muttered, "And I know a Giant that's also a prince…"
"You have giants, too? I haven't seen a Giant in ages...but then again, he was a cheating cyclops who somehow could see my cards in Poker!" Kivat complained before pausing as he looked at the house, "This place is filled with magic, almost as if it was all made with at least a little bit of it."
"Everything in Skylands has magic. From the smallest of grains to the largest of mountains," Kiina replied as she opened the door, "You may be feeling the Magic that is Skylands in it. I'm back, everyo…" she ducked a thrown watermelon, "Okay, who started a food fight this time?!"
"It was Pop Fizz!" Camo replied, currently covered in bits of cake.
"I most certainly did not!" Pop Fizz argued, his fur a bright cherry red while bits of tomato covered him, "It was Wildfire!"
"He's in the Ruins, ya crazy alchemist!" Flynn argued, pasta sauce and bits of shaved chocolate covering him.
"Sugoi…" Wataru spoke walking in, before everyone tensed as his eyes became red and slit, while stained glass markings formed under his eyes in red and yellow colors, "What?" he blinked, touching his face and feeling nothing.
"Wataru, your markings…" Karin pointed at his face before her fangs extended slightly.
"Your teeth!" Wataru pointed back.
"Interesting...the magic in this house is causing your true natures to shine through slightly…" Kivat landed on Wataru's head.
"Oh, we have guests?" Hugo asked, wearing a raincoat and being the sole exception to being covered in food, "Yes, we've noticed this kind of thing before when we had guests here. From what I can guess, the homely magic in here makes one feel so comfortable that they unknowingly reveal their true self." he noticed Wataru looking at him...or rather, his raincoat covered in different sauces, "...It's not my height, is it?"
"Can I borrow this mixture on your raincoat?" Wataru asked.
"The...mixture?" Hugo blinked.
"Please...I think that's just the recipe for the varnish I've been working on," Wataru explained, making Karin facepalm, "I can see it...it's the perfect color for what I need."
"Oh, a violin maker? Well, I have heard them using strange things for varnish," Hugo noted as he took it off and made it into a sack with the outer part now the inner, "Very well." a pie hit him in the back of the head, "Okay, who threw that?!" he spun around before freezing on seeing a sheep made of whipped cream and liquorice, "EEK! SHEEP!" he tossed the sack into the air and ran off, "CALL THE MABU DEFENSE FORCE!"
"..." Karin blinked twice as she looked at the laughing Tessa, bits of food in her fur and hair.
"And that's what he gets for not having a second raincoat," Tessa noted between laughs as Wataru managed to catch the sack.
"...I swear that if this isn't cleaned up, I am siccing Whirlwind on you all," Kiina warned, making everyone buy Karin and Wataru freeze and quickly scramble like mad to clean everything, "I'm so sorry for the mess."
"It's no bother," Karin smiled, "Actually...I kinda like this place. It feels so warm and happy."
"Karin-san is incredibly sensitive to emotions around her. In her case, she has a sensitivity to negative emotions from others. It causes her strange vampire abilities to kick in so to speak. However, the opposite calms and relaxes her, suppressing her power."
"So if she's around someone depressed, it'd go into overdrive?" Kiina guessed.
"Indeed. Why, when Wataru was having a bad day was when they first met," Kivat chuckled, "He wasn't expecting a little nip on his neck by her, that's for s…"
"KIVAT!" Wataru and Karin exclaimed, faces bright pink.
"Ara...I said too much...sorry," he chuckled before Karin picked him up and began shaking him, "Gomen! Gomen! Gomen nasai!"
A loud yawn made them pause, "Ugh...What is with all the yelling?"
Everyone turned to see a figure float out from the open basement door. He resembled a blue-skinned man with short white hair on his head and on the sides of his face. The lower half of his body and his arms were actually a pale blue mist of sorts while he wore a dark blue and red coat with a white scarf tucked into it. A pair of red boxing gloves with silver skulls acted as his hands while he had a gold and red belt with a skull on the buckle. His glowing white eyes looked around before laying on Wataru and Karin before smiling, showing a pair of fangs.
"Ah, fellow kin," the Skylander noted before looking around, "Though, you have me off guard on location."
"Night Shift!" Kiina beamed, walking over to him, "It's good to see you awake."
"Bah, fighting off those creatures was well worth a good rest," Night Shift snorted, "Now Kiina, may I ask who your friends are?"
"Oh, yes," Kiina replied, "Night Shift, these are Karin Maaka and Wataru Kurenai and Mr. Kivat. Everyone, this is Night Shift, one of the Undead Skylanders for the Swap Force."
"Skylanders...So are you a vampire like us?" Karin asked.
"Depends," Night Shift asked before vanishing in a puff of sky-blue smoke before appearing between the two, making them jump, "Can you perform teleportation? Considering the sun is out and neither of you smell like you're wearing Moonscreen 360, you can be out in the daytime like myself, Bat Spin, and Roller Brawl." he sniffed at them, "Ah, you my boy have the smell of those glass vampires I fought before I awoke here, but a bit muddled. I'll go out on a limb and say you're only half of those glass vampires and half human."
"You've fought Fangires before?" Wataru asked, "Ah...oh yes, I am a half breed." he bowed his head simply.
"And you, my dear...You're quite unique," Night Shift noted, "From what I feel, you do not feed on blood, but give it to those you bite."
"Karin is a rare type of vampire, sir. They work in reverse in a sense," Kivat explained, "From what I could gather from our personal archives, she is called a Spring of Psyche, though that only makes her invaluable to others who would use her abilities for...less than good means. Which is why she and Wataru never leave each other's side. Well that and…"
"AH!" Karin panicked as she grabbed a pillow and slammed it on Kivat while blushing again.
"Say no more," Night Shift chuckled, "Is wonderful to meet more fellow vampires. After Kaos and his Sky Eater, I worried that just we three Skylanders were all that was left. It is good to see more." he looked to Kiina, "Now what is going on here?"
"Well, we're travelling to different worlds to find Sensei Skylanders that were sent to them by the Sky Eater to restore Skylands," Kiina explained, "So far, we've found three. ...Which reminds me, where are King Pen and Tae Kwon Crow?"
"Scouting around," Tessa replied, wiping off the food on her with a towel, "Hi, I'm Tessa."
"Hi." the two teens nodded.
"Kablam. Not even a few hours, Kiina, and you've exposed yourself," Tessa noted.
"I'm not that good with fully lying to people…" Kiina admitted, "And doesn't Mr. Wataru seem familiar?"
"Hm?" Tessa looked at him before her eyes widened, "Kablam! You're the guy who rescued me and Kiina when Kaos' mom kidnapped us!"
"I'm afraid I'm not that version of me yet," Wataru chuckled, "Apparently from what Kivat has said you folks aren't just going through dimensions but time as well."
"It's okay...we do that sometimes, too. Why have a magic time door inside of your mansion if not to use it." Kivat cheered, landing on Wataru's shoulder.
"Magic time door?" Kiina repeated.
"Sounds like a single door version of Clock Town," Pop Fizz noted, "You don't need to strap a magic person like Kiina to it to power it, do ya?"
"No." Wataru shook his head.
"Did I mention our mansion...is inside of a Dragon?" Kivat chuckled, "She powers the door...so she can technically travel through time as well."
"A dragon?" Kiina repeated, "It doesn't hurt them, does it?"
"Not really, no," Kivat replied, "She's quite docile unless she needs to fight."
"You're the first people to not question how we combined a Dragon and castle into one thing," Wataru noted.
"That's a bit normal for us," Pop Fizz noted.
"Several larger animals tend to have homes or shops built on them," Night Shift noted, "Often it's a form of symbiosis where the maker gets a place that can go anywhere they need to go and the animal gets a companion that helps take care of them." he chuckled, "Back when I was the reigning champion in Boxing, the ring was on the back of a living dragon skeleton."
"You're a boxer?" Karin asked.
"Of course. Boxing is the sweet science," Night Shift replied with a smirk before frowning, "But, I had to retire because so many namby pamby folks decided to ban teleporting. Fortunately, my last match Eon was watching it and offered me to become a Skylander. While there are, at times, those who'd I'd like to introduce to my right uppercut, others have made me feel more than welcomed and willing to go above and beyond."
"Just don't ring a bell around him," Flynn warned.
"Do not be telling them things like that," Night Shift scolded quickly, clearing his throat while trying to not make eye contact with anyone as Kivat raised a brow, "It...It's nothing."
"Tell that to the camera crew and the lady interviewing you," Flynn muttered under his breath with an amused smile.
"I get a feeling he's in trouble…" Wataru noted.
"This is why you don't make mistakes like that," Karin replied, patting his shoulder.
"I wonder what's taking Kadoya so long," Kiina noted before hearing the sound of something crashing outside.
Everyone went to the window to see a man in a prison uniform stuck upside down in the trash can outside. Nago walked up and kicked the can over, sending the man rolling out to the ground and revealing it to be Sugimura still. Sugimura stumbled to run away only to be grabbed by the collar and pulled back, setting him open to a punch across the face from Nago. As that happened, a Taxi pulled to a stop as Tsukasa stepped out. He took a moment to tip the Driver before waving him off as he backed out and away from the scene. Tsukasa took a deep breath before pulling out a blank Ride Card and tossing it, striking Sugimura's hand as he tried to punch back, the card digging into his hand and making him yelp in pain...which left him open to another punch to the face.
"Wow. Speak of the Chompy…" Tessa noted with a sweatdrop.
"Oh, it seems Kadoya made a friend," Kiina noted.
"The boy has a good punch. Doesn't keep the thumb tucked in like most rookies and makes sure to pace himself between blows," Night Shift noted before sniffing and tensing, "?! No..."
"Night Shift?" Kiina asked, seeing the elderly vampire start to sweat.
"Legendorga…" Night Shift whispered, fear in his tone.
"Legend wha?" most of them asked.
"Oi! Oi, that's not funny...the Legendorga are supposed to be dormant," Kivat spoke in concern.
"They're supposed to be extinct," Night Shift corrected, "At least...They are supposed to be in Skylands."
"You know what they're talking about?" Tessa asked, earning a shrug from the two natives.
"A race of creatures that consume whatever they want. Creatures that hold no morals unless it is between one another," Night Shift explained, "The Skylanders in my childhood were able to destroy them all, but I can never forget the scent of the monsters that destroyed my home island because they were bored."
"Legendorga are dangerous monsters...They can spread their power to other life forms, making them loyal slaves...slowly changing them into more Legendorga. They are far worse than even the Fangire royals. They spread like a virus. They have no compassion, no kindness, no soul... All they want is death and destruction...so that they may subjugate all," Kivat explained, "The First Kiva wiped out over 99 percent of their population...and sealed their king's very soul away within a magic casket. So that he would suffer knowing he was alone."
"Well, it seems the seal has failed," Night Shift replied, eyes narrowed at the trio outside, "Because the scent of Legendorga is heavy on one of them."
"Which one?" Tessa asked.
"I do not know. The beating has made the scent cover all three," Night Shift replied, "And with how close they are, I can't tell the difference in the strength of scent. Bah...I am getting old."
"Okay, you've punched him in the face like twenty times...and he's not going down," Tsukasa sighed.
"I just need to keep punching," Nago replied.
"Have you tried kicking him in the nards?" Tsukasa asked.
"Hmm…" Nago pondered for a moment.
"...They...They get along too well," Wataru noted.
"So...could your friend...not be human?" Karin asked, making many of them blink.
"Oh my god. You actually kicked him in the nards...I was kidding." Tsukasa spoke.
"You're far too sarcastic to tell the difference…" Nago replied.
"It's called charm."
"No. He's human," Night Shift replied, still sniffing, "At least...I think he is. Darn Legendorga scent messing with things…Really wish for a fire extinguisher."
"A fire extinguisher?" Wataru repeated.
"There's something in that stuff that erases a Legendorga's scent from those who aren't a Legendorga," Night Shift replied, "But it also muddles the scent for a good two, maybe three, hours of a normal Legendorga. For some reason, it makes them smell like Flynn's brownies."
"That is the one thing I can never bake right," Kiina sighed.
"Should we call for a police car?" Flynn asked, "Because it's getting kinda pitiable for the guy…"
"I'm on it," Karin pulled out her phone and going out of the room to make the call so the shouting wasn't overheard.
"I found a fire extinguisher," Wataru spoke.
"Excellent! Quickly now! Get out there and blast them!" Night Shift ordered.
"Eh?"
"Ikuze, Wataru!" Kivat cheered, zipping up...and hitting the ceiling, "Gah!" he fell down and landed on a small bell on a shelf.
*ding~*
"?!" Night Shift's face changed, sporting a thousand yard stare.
"Oh no," the natives of Skylands paled.
"What's...OH GEEZ!" Wataru panicked as the sounds of punches and things being broken could be heard from outside.
After a while, the Fire Extinguisher was launched out the window and landed between Tsukasa and Nago and just under Sugimura. The trio looked down, seeing it was dented as it began creaking...before bursting open and covering all three of them in the extinguishing smoke.
"Gah! Ugh! Ptui! Ack! Pfft!" the trio gagged and sputtered.
"It got in my mouth!" Tsukasa exclaimed.
"Ah, that was unpleasant…" Nago coughed.
"Ah...ah...I'm free…" Sugimura sighed, walking a few steps out. He turned around as the smoke cleared and realized...he didn't get anywhere, as Tsukasa and Nago just stared at him, "Don-AH!" he cried as both punched him in the face at the same time, knocking him out.
"Who threw a fire extinguisher at us?" Nago asked, looking around.
"My roommates," Tsukasa replied, spotting the hole in the window of the current form of the Boomer residence, "Though it may have been an accident considering it went out the closed window."
"We didn't do it!" Kiina and Karin defended, poking out from the window.
"Maaka…?" Nago blinked, "Why am I not surprised you and Wataru are roped into some dangerous misadventure again…?"
"I'm blaming Flynn," Tsukasa informed.
"I didn't ring the bell!" Flynn argued, his voice echoing.
"A right hook got his head stuck in the pot he was using as a helmet," Kiina informed as a police siren went off and they all looked to see a police car drive up.
"Who called the cops?" Nago asked.
"I did," Karin replied as she and Kiina came out, their clothes a bit scuffed up that they were smoothing out.
"It's alright. We were gonna send him back with the cops anyway. Back to prison for this loser," Tsukasa sighed, stepping over Sugimura as an officer stepped out of the car.
"Someone call the police?" the officer asked.
"I did, officer," Karin replied as she motioned to Nago and Tsukasa with Sugimura being picked up by Nago.
"We have an escaped criminal for you," Tsukasa informed.
"He's crafty and somehow escaped a high security prison. It'd be safe if I joined you in escorting him." Nago offered.
"We'd be honored to have Bounty Hunter Nago with us," One officer smiled as they took Sugimura and dragged him to a patrol car.
"That was pretty nuts," Tsukasa muttered as they got into the car, "And what was with the extinguisher?"
"...Ah!" Kiina and Karin exclaimed, "We forgot to have him smell you guys!"
"Excuse you both?" Tsukasa asked with a raised brow.
"Well you see it's…"
"Let me guess...Skylander thing, fate of the world, I should probably hear you out," he began, "Nago, I'll catch up." he sighed, closing the door, "I take it you found out what we are here to fight?"
"Legend thingy!" Kiina declared.
"One more time, but making sense?" Tsukasa asked.
"Legendorga," Karin explained, "Apparently, when you spray them with a fire extinguisher, they start smelling like brownies to vampires with a strong sense of smell."
"And I met a friend who saved me and Tessa back in Skylands!" Kiina beamed.
"Kay, good to know. So wait...one of us smelled like this Legendorga thing?" Tsukasa asked, "Nago is for sure human...but...what about me?"
"We'll have to have Night Shift smell you," Kiina replied.
"What?" Tsukasa deadpanned as they entered the house to see the living room a complete wreck outside of the backdrop with the Skylanders, Tessa, Kivat, and Wataru all on the ground or tossed about with several bumps on most of them, "Again, what?"
"Ah, my apologies again," Night Shift noted, teleporting into the living room with several small bags of ice, "That's...quite an embarrassing thing for me…One too many blows to my head from what the doctors all say." he looked over at Tsukasa and sniffed, "Yep. You're human. Night Shift, Swap Force Skylander of the Undead Element."
"Well...confirming I'm indeed human is one nightmare off my shoulders," Tsukasa spoke as Night Shift quickly handed out the ice packs, "But if it's not me or Nago...Oh god damn it." he sighed while stepping out, snapping his fingers as his bike rolled over to him.
"That crook was the Legendary?" Kiina asked.
"Legendorga," Night Shift corrected before sniffing the air and tensed while looking down the road in the direction the police car had went, "There's more now. Time to Roll with the Punches!" before anyone could say something, he teleported away.
"I feel like that one time I tricked Dogga out of his favorite snack…" Kivat groaned, his voice muffled by the ice pack on his face.
"Night Shift went after the Legendorga," Karin informed.
"What?! Sending an elder out to do our job?!" Kivat exclaimed, shooting up and letting the ice pack go up and land on Flynn's pot-engulfed head.
"I'm going after them," Tsukasa spoke, putting his helmet on, "Kivat, wake up your partner. We'll need Kiva."
"How did he know…?"
"He always knows stuff," they all shrugged.
As the police car drove down the road by an open field, Nago and an officer sat at the sides of the escaped convict in the back, now awake and sporting a black eye from Tsukasa's punch. Another police car had met up with the first and was following it for added protection was keeping a moderate distance from the first...before several blasts of energy hit it, causing it to skid to a spinning halt.
The car Nago and Sugimura were in swerved as something landed on the wind shield; it was another monster. A Legendorga. It was feminine in appearance. Her face looked like a white mask with the features of a woman and snake merged as one, both sides of her head had two snake heads pointing to the left and right. Her body covered in black gothic armor, with blue scales going down her legs as purple scales mixed in around her lower legs forming a boot like pattern. Her forearms were also covered in the same blue and purple scales as gauntlets.
Nago turned around as the Mummy Legendorga jumped on the back of the car. The police officer behind the wheel began swerving to try and shake the monsters off, before careening off to the side and running down a moveable fence before driving into an old parking complex under re-construction. The car eventually crashed into one of the many support pillars. The monsters jumped off at that as the sound of leaking gas could be heard.
"Get out!" Nago ordered the officers as they opened the doors and began scrambling out.
The Officers got out first as Nago dragged Sugimura out and kept him behind him to keep him out of danger. The Officers got in front of Nago as the two Legendorga walked over before...each bowed to one knee.
"We have come for you..." The Mummy spoke.
"Our Lord," the Medusa like Legendorga finished as they looked at Sugimura.
"Nani?" Nago blinked.
"What's happening?" Sugimura asked in panic and fear, "Who are these freaks?"
The two officers began to open fire on the two Legedorga. The shots didn't do a thing to either and it looked as if neither even noticed. The Medusa Legendorga barely glanced at them before two large snakes emerged from her back and grabbed the two officers by their heads, shook them like ragdolls, and slammed them into a wall before letting them drop. The two kaijin proceeded to stand up and start to approach. Sugimura screamed while falling over...showing that he was soiling himself. Nago reached for his belt when a vortex of black and red energy appeared between them. Just as it dispersed, a pair of gold boxing gloves with a gold skull-shaped print on them slammed into the Legendorgas, knocking them several dozen meters away.
"I knew it was Legendorgas," Night Shift growled, eyes narrowed.
"A vampire?" The Mummy Legendorga spoke as they got up, "Of a kind...you have nerves to try and fight with us during the day."
"But we won't be stopped from awakening our lord," the Medusa Legendorga added, "We shall rule this world again like the dark ages."
"Nyet. Not ever again," Night Shift replied before glancing over his shoulder at Nago, "You have a way to defend yourself if they get past me outside of your punching?"
"I've never seen a creature like you…" Nago spoke, "But at the least...you protect humans. An annoying friend has taught me to be open minded." he strapped his belt on and punched the Ixa Knuckle to his palm.
=READY?=
"Henshin!" Nago declared, plugging it in.
=FIST ON=
"A vampire and a knight battling a Medusa and a Mummy," Night Shift chuckled, "Ahh...Feels like last month, except this time the knight's not made of fire inside of his cursed armor."
"You sound like you have many tales to tell, elder...Sadly...this is not the time," Ixa spoke.
"I know. But I'm merely using jokes to suppress the terror in having to fight Legendorga after they rampaged in my homeland," Night Shift replied before teleporting out of the way of a mask and a serpent before appearing behind the Mummy Legendorga and slammed an uppercut that not only sent the Legendorga through the ceiling to the upper floor...but also caused several piles of gold coins to fall out of the mummy, "Good luck with the Medusa." he nodded before teleporting away.
"I'll never understand vampires…" Ixa spoke as he shot at the Medusa Legendoraga only for her to vanish. He looked around before grunting as she grabbed his arm which held his weapon, "Gh!" he grunted, struggling with her, "Such power…" He then turned his head to the side before swinging her around to get rammed by the MachineDecader.
"I think I ran over something nasty," Tsukasa spoke as he swung his leg over to sit side saddle on his bike, "Oi, Ixa, have you seen an old vampire here? Bluish skin, white glowing eyes? Limbs made of smoke and likes boxing?"
"You know him?" Ixa asked.
"It's a long story," he sighed, putting on his Driver while standing up, "Not really important. Won't be around long enough for it to matter to you." he spoke, opening the buckle and pulling out his card, "Henshin!"
=KAMEN RIDE: DECADE!=
The holograms shot out in a straight line, smacking into the Medusa Legendorga, before flying back and over Tsukasa, replacing him with Decade as his armor colored itself in. With that, he charged at the Legendorga, blade out.
"Kivat!" Wataru called, driving down the road.
"Yosha! Kivatte ikuz…" Kivat began before flying around the held up hand...which had a leather glove over it, "Gah! This thing!" he grabbed it and pulled it off, "There we go! GABU!"
Wataru's Fangire markings formed once more as ethereal silver chains formed around his waist and merged into a red belt. Two holders on each hip, each carrying three decorated whistles, and the buckle had what looked like a perch handle for something to grab on to. He grabbed Kivat and held him forward.
"Henshin," Wataru declared, swinging his arm down while twisting it; in the process, he held Kivat up to the perch as his feet clamped on, before letting him swing down and lock into place on the belt.
A ripple of soundwaves came out from the belt as a liquid metal covered Wataru, the liquid morphing and changing shape until it took the form of...something else. With a shattering sound, it all burst off, revealing a Kamen Rider. His suit black with multiple vein-like piping along his arms and legs. A piece of silver armor covered his back and sides like a vest, a high collar around the back of his neck with a red interior, his chest covered in red armor that simulated muscles with black veins running along them. His shoulders covered in silver pads resembling chained bat wings, his wrists covered in silver bracelets leading to his red armored hands, each finger tipped in claws. His right leg covered in a large chained silver boot, while his left merely had an anklet around his black boot. His mask resembled a Bat with large glowing yellow eyes shaped like bat wings, with red topping his helmet, a green gem in his forehead, and a silver mouthplate with black fang markings.
Kiva revved the handle picking up speed. He drove into the parking complex...not once slowing down. He drove past Decade and Ixa as they slashed the Medusa Legendorga across the chest. Kiva continued on as he focused on the Mummy, who was blocking punches from Night Shift, who kept teleporting around and getting a few shots in before he could block. The Legendorga only had a moment to hear the engine as he turned around.
"Kiva-gah!" he grunted as the bike slammed into his stomach, sending him flying out of the parking complex and into an abandoned factory just next door, "Ugh...The heck was that?"
"Ahem," he looked up to see Night Shift with a fist reeled back.
"Oh not aga…" he began before Night Shift performed an uppercut, sending him flying into the air where Kiva slammed a punch into his face and sent him crashing into some abandoned rusted equipment.
"Not too shabby," Night Shift noted, "Be careful. He likes shooting out masks to try to turn you into one of him. Only reason I know how it does that? He caught a few rats when I teleported out of the way. Not pretty."
"Don't worry. My magic should protect me from his powers." Kiva spoke, "Use me as cover in case we are in a narrow space." He offered as he charged forward, he jumped and tackled into the Mummy sending them rolling across the dusty ground.
Kiva pulled himself and the Mummy Legendorga up before he began slamming his knee into the monster's stomach over and over again, making him grunt in pain. Kiva let go before spinning around and slamming his elbow into the Legendorga's face, making him stumble around. Kiva kept his spin going as he jumped and swung his left hand down and used his claws to slash the Legendorga across the face making him cry in pain and raise both hands up to his face. Kiva used this opening as he began delivering a barrage of close range jabs to the Legendorga's chest, making sparks fly. Kiva then ducked down as Night Shift landed a hook to the Legendorga's face, knocking him back and falling over to the ground. The Legendorga grunted as he raised his arms to block another punch, only to grunt as Kiva rolled forward across the ground and slammed a kick to his stomach.
"Right in the belly face, that's gonna hurt," Kivat gloated, only to flinch as the Legendorga grabbed Kiva's leg and began swinging him around, "I was wrong!" At that, Rider and henshin device/partner were sent flying into several metal barrels.
Sugimura was hiding behind some machines and metal support beams as he watched the fight continue. Decade pushed the Medusa Legendorga into the construction sight before leaning back and kicking her in the abdomen. Ixa rushed and slashed her across the shoulder before Decade took a step forward and punched her across the face. The two Riders swung their swords slashing her across the torso at the same time making her cry in pain. The two spun around and held their weapons up, changed to gun forms before shooting her, making her stumble back and roll across the ground.
Kiva and Night Shift rounded the Mummy Legendorga as he looked back and forth, trying to anticipate just who would attack him first. It was then the monster stopped as if realizing something. He grunted, snapping his fingers. Kiva blinked in confusion, unaware of the ground behind him turning to sand before the Antlion Fangire, from before jumped out and grabbed the Rider from behind. Kiva grunted as the controlled Fangire swung him around before tossing him aside once more. The Fangire ran over and punched Kiva across the face making him stagger some more from surprise.
The Mummy Legendorga laughed as he spun around and blocked Night Shift's punch. The two backed away as they began trading fists back and forth. Decade turned to the fight before aiming and shooting the Mummy Legendorga, giving Night Shift an opening to punch him across the face and making him stagger back. Decade turned around and shot the Medusa Legendorga when she tried to sneak up on him.
"We've still got them out numbered at least," Decade spoke, swapping back to sword as he slashed the Medusa Legendorga.
"Ah!" Ixa spoke as he turned and shot at the Mummy this time, striking its back and giving Night Shift the opening to land another combo of blows to it.
"Will you stop doing that?!" the Mummy demanded.
"No," both Riders replied as they kicked the Medusa Legendorga before turning and shooting the Mummy again, letting Night Shift give an uppercut causing more gold coins to fall out of the Legendorga.
"Okay, how does that keep happening when he uppercuts?" Ixa questioned.
"Magic gloves that convert shed blood or its equivalent into gold," Night Shift replied, teleporting around and dodging masks fired by the angered Mummy Legendorga before slamming a fist into the Mummy's main face, knocking him through a pillar, "Sting like a bazooka!"
Kiva grunted as he tackled the Antlion Fangire through some old boxes. He punched it across the face with his right before swinging his elbow and landing a second blow to its temple, knocking it over. He spun around and swung a reverse roundhouse with his left leg which struck the Fangire and sent him falling back. Kiva crossed his arms while a melody began to play from a whistle in Kivat's mouth as his boot snapped the chains, forming a red wing design as the front of his leg was not red with three green orbs. Kiva grunted and jumped up, rolling forward and kicking his leg out striking the Fangire, Kiva's symbol formed in the air for a moment...before the monster shattered, an orb of light floating off into the air.
Kiva turned around as Ixa and Decade walked up and stood next to him. The Mummy Legendorga grunted, rolling across the ground and landing next to Medusa. The three Riders stepped forward as Night Shift teleported next to them. They prepared to attack again only to stop as a barrage of bullets hit the ground between the two factions, some dust from it getting into Night Shift's nose and causing him to start coughing. Decade looked up to see Kaitoh sitting on a higher level.
"I can appreciate the idea of taking the enemy out sooner than later," he spoke, twirling his gun around, "But sorry to tell ya...to get my treasure, I need them to live a little while longer."
"Omae...Kaitoh…" Decade spoke.
"Yo Tsukasa!" he cheered, jumping down and landing between them, he then put his hands together and bowed his head slightly, "Could you let 'em go, for old times sake?"
"Huh?"
"You know this foolish boy?" Night Shift asked.
"I guess...I kinda got amnesia, Ossan," Decade explained, tapping his helmet, "I might have taken a right hook to the head...but he talks like he knows me. And according to Kiina...he's also a Kamen Rider."
"Aw...you two talk. That already makes it the healthiest relationship you've ever had with a girl." Kaitoh laughed.
"Oi, if you know something…"
"Hold that thought," Kaitoh spoke as he jumped high into the air.
The Riders looked up, only to grunt when the Mummy Legendorga's wrappings flew out and bound all three of them, Night Shift barely teleporting away from them. They grunted before being slammed together and then swung up into the air and back down into the ground. The three groaned as the Medusa Legendorga walked up and picked up Ixa's IxaCalibur still in its gun formation. The three Riders looked up and panicked as she aimed and began shooting at them, each bullet causing sparks to fly...more so off Kiva. The two crossed their arms before shouting, unleashing black aura shockwaves which struck all three, making more sparks fly as their armors were dismissed from too much damage.
"He gave them a second wind...whoever this guy is...he's an ass!" Tsukasa grunted as the wrappings tightened against them even more.
"Ouch…" Kaitoh replied as he landed back on the floor, "Okay...that's enough."
"You dare tell us what to do?" The Mummy complained.
"I helped you 'cause I want you to unlock the Legendorga's treasure, now...go do that for me." Kaitoh smiled before he blurred out of the path of his wrappings, "I never said I'd let you kill anyone." he pulled out his gun and shot the Mummy, making him stagger back into another uppercut that caused him to be stuck halfway in a walkway above.
"WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME?!" the Mummy snapped.
"Ah, I see now. A thief like Nightshade, but more multiversal," Night Shift noted.
"I want treasure...but I'm not evil. I just can't let them die 'till I get it, or it's lost for eternity," Kaitoh explained, "Once I get the treasure...then I kill them." he smirked, "It's a little roundabout...but I'm sure it'll be best left in my collection then lost." he spoke, dodging all of Medusa's swings, he then blinked before he jumped back just as a white bat flew by and struck Medusa, taking her by surprise.
"A white Kivat?" Wataru blinked.
Everyone turned to a door as it slowly opened by itself. Waiting on the other side was a man, clad in white pants, a black shirt and a white long coat, his hair long and almost reaching his shoulders. He slowly walked in as the white Kivat flew around him.
"Hm…" Kaitoh spoke as Nago's eyes widened.
"That's…" Nago began.
"ReyKivat," the man spoke simply as the now named ReyKivat flew up next to him.
"Shall we go? Graceful yet violent." ReyKivat spoke, flapping his wings to stay afloat in front of his partner.
"Henshin," he ordered.
"Henshin!" ReyKivat repeated flipping around as he floated down and toward his waist before a giant ice shield in the shape of a snowflake formed in front of them.
The giant snowflake shattered into shards of ice which covered the man before forming into armor. It melted and finished taking form into a suit. He had a similar black suit to Kiva, but from there the changes began drastically. His legs were covered in white armor starting from his thigh and going down to his greaves and boots. His shoulders had two large shoulder pads that resembled forward facing claws, his upper arms covered in white armor and his forearms wrapped up in chains like armor. His chest armor looked like Kiva's save his chest plate being black, with a thick collar of white fur covering his upper chest. His helmet white with two blue eyes, and golden decorations around his eyes and acting as a mouth guard that looked like two clawed hands covering his mask.
The white Kamen Rider walked forward as it began to snow inside. The snow filled the entire building as he marched forward. He grunted, blocking a swing from Medusa before kicking her away. The Mummy freed himself only to receive a kick to his chest from the rider. He blocked another swing from Medusa before swinging around and kicking her across the face. He then swung his arm back and used his chain covered arm to strike the Mummy across the face, knocking him over.
"Who is that?" Wataru asked, "I've never heard of a ReyKivat…also...why does he look like my brother?"
"You have a brother?" Night Shift asked.
"Half brother...it got really complicated," Wataru explained, "But it's okay now."
Nearby, the new Rider continued his beatdown of the two Legendorga while Sugimura kept watching from where he had hidden himself. The Mummy Legendorga suddenly tensed and his face glowed before firing a pulse from it, creating small explosions around the white Rider. The Medusa Legendorga quickly grabbed Sugimura by the face and they ran off.
"Ah! You get back here this instant you…" Night Shift began before the Mummy fired another pulse from his face mask, making an explosion at Night Shift's nonexistent feet and making a cloud of dust and smoke, "ACK! Gah! Ah! It's in my nose! Ooh! That-ack!-That little-gack!-I will pummel them to p-hurk!-ieces when I get my gloves on them!"
"Hmm…" Rey spoke, running forward a bit and looking around, "Got away…" at that, his armor turned to ice and crumbled away, leaving him in his civilian state, before looking over at the others, "Yo...Long time no see, Nago-kun. I'm surprised you're working with a vampire. Albeit an unusual one. Are you arms made of smoke?"
"Give me a-hurk!-moment…" Night Shift coughed, "Getting wa-ack!-water…" with that, Night Shift teleported away.
"Well, he is an old man…" Tsukasa noted, "Pretty tough...but still old." he looked at Nago, "You know this guy?"
"..." Nago tried to not look at the man, "Shiramine...san."
"Wait...You two know each other?" Wataru asked, looking between the two.
"Oh this is gonna be fun…" Tsukasa sighed.
"Phew...That's the last of it," Jet-Vac noted, tying up a trash bag, while the windows showed that the sun was setting.
"Thank you for helping us with the cleanup, Karin," Kiina thanked.
"It wasn't much trouble," Karin assured before Night Shift appeared in his normal manner, coughing, "Ah!"
"Wa...Water…" Night Shift pleaded between coughs.
"Right here," Stealth Elf informed, popping in via her usual puff of smoke with a cup of water that she gave him before popping away.
"What happened?" Kiina asked as Night Shift drank the water.
"Phwah!" Night Shift gasped out and sighed, "The blasted Legendorga escaped. Good news, your friend is human. Bad news, they took the other man...and he's their king."
"One more time…?" Kiina and Karin asked.
"We had their king, not at his full power, and he got away," Night Shift replied, speaking slowly, "Bah, children these days. Do they lose their hearing as night falls?" he sniffed, "We have vampires approaching. You share a bit of their scent, young lady."
"Oh no...my family," Karin sighed, "I am not looking forward to this."
"Good thing we cleaned the place up," Kiina noted, giving Flynn a look, "I'd hate to have guests in a dirty home."
"It was one time," Flynn argued.
"Three times and each time you say you won't do it again," Kiina deadpanned.
"At least they aren't panicked...Dad can overreact when he senses danger," Karin sighed.
*THUD!*
Everyone looked at the front door. A few moments passed before...
*Ding-Dong~!*
"Had to reinforce that door with several spells and runes after the one time Bash got drunk during a celebration," Kiina explained as she dusted her jeans and answered the door, "Greetings. I invite you all in. Karin is in the living room."
"Don't tell them…" Karin complained, walking over, "Dad'll just rush in that rude way he does."
"KARIN~!" an older man with black hair combed to the sides, pointed ears, and three gold cowlicks in his hair exclaimed, pulling the girl into a hug, "Oh thank goodness! You're safe! When we felt the energy of the Legendorga, I was so terrified you were abducted by them!"
"Papa, my familiars said she was safe with some powerful people," a smaller girl with long silver hair and a black dress noted, carrying a stuffed doll before the bat from earlier poked out of her hair and flew around Kiina, letting out small happy chirps.
"I'm okay...Wataru...and his friends went out to fight them…" Karin grunted, trying to free herself from her father, "Things should be...fine, at worse we just call Wataru's brother to help…" she grunted as he tightened the hug, "Help…"
"Dear, release her," a shapely older woman in a red dress and blond hair ordered, rapping the man on the head strongly, the pain causing him to release Karin.
"Gah!" he yelped, rubbing his head.
"Thanks Mom…" Karin sighed, taking a deep breath.
'Now this is adorable…' Kiina thought before blinking twice, seeing a young man with light blue/silver hair and pointed ears in a black casual suit looking at her, "Hm?"
"Oh right my brother…" Karin spoke.
"A pleasure to meet you all," Kiina greeted with a bow, "I'm Kiina Boomer...oh wait...I'm supposed to say my last name first in Japan, right? Still getting used to that."
"And yet you speak the language as if you've grown up here your entire life," the little girl noted.
"It's magic," Kiina happily explained, "Ah! How rude of me! Please, would any of you care for a drink?"
"I don't mind," the young man noted.
"Ah, perfect!" Kiina smiled as she walked off to the kitchen, "Would you prefer tea, juice, milk, or water?"
"Ren, what are you doing?" Karin hissed at the young man.
"The stress coming off her is intense. As if her last few years have been filled with nothing but stressful moments with only somewhat peaceful bits mixed in," he noted.
"She's my friend...go near her...and I'm calling you know who," Karin warned.
"I have no idea who you mean," he put his hand to her face to push her away.
"I mean it Ren…" she pouted.
"Hmph," he scoffed.
"Oh that poor poor doofus," Kaitoh smirked, watching from across the street, "He's in for a difficult time."
A lone castle hidden away in a forest of evergreens stood ominously as storm clouds gathered over it. Despite the centuries, it seemed to have little to no weathering upon it. Deep within it, the Mummy and Medusa Legendorga stood at two corners of a single chamber. At the other two corners were two more Legendorga.
The First was mostly all floral green in color, with his arms at his forearms and his legs at his shins brown like wood. He has vines growing and connecting his arms and legs at the elbows and knees respectively, green flower pods grew on his thighs and shoulders, with leaves forming around his thighs as his shoulders had multiple purple flowers blooming from his shoulders. His head looked like it was being swallowed by the bulb of some plant, with green leaves covering his entire head in a mask, multiple red eyes forming between the leaves, as a single long vine grew from the top of his head. The was the Mandrake Legendorga.
The second had an all stone grey body. True to his body's color it seemed like he was indeed made entirely out of stone. Purple accents formed along his body as his torso formed into ornate armor, in the center of his chest was a glass oval kept in place by a purple metal accent in the shape of a heart. Covering his body were old dried up vines and branches covered in red leaves. His head was shaped into a helmet that resembled a Gargoyle statue resting on his head, its wings extending out like ears, as grilled vents served as his eye holes through his helmet. Obviously this was the Gargoyle Legendorga.
As one, the four approached a floating bed in the center of it all. Sugimura was laid upon it, tucked under the covers. He kept staring at the ceiling, twitching every other second as it seemed his entire skin appeared to dry up and refresh in an instant in that twitch.
"Lord," The Mummy Legendorga began, "Awaken." He raised a hand up towards Sugimura.
Suddenly, the man sat up before tossing the covers away. His face seemed different...younger...his features sharper then before with his hair now slicked back. He jumped off his floating bed and landed on the ground with no difficulty. He began walking forward before raising his hand up to his glasses and tossing them away, no longer needing them. It was clear...this was not Sugimura. The way he stood, the way he walked, everything about him changed. He was someone else, he was something else. He turned around as a golden aura formed around him, it took the shape of a giant, a giant clad in all black with glowing yellow hands and eyes, and two curved horns extending from the top of his head. The Legendorga seeing this astral projection of who was truly in control of Sugimura's body, all dropped to one knee and bowed in respect. This was their king...Arc.
"3WA...That's the name of your organization?" the employer of Nago and Megumi spoke as they all returned to the Cafe.
The man from before taking the time to file his fingernails as he stood there, "That's right, it stands for 'World Wide Wing Association.'"
"Three 'W' words and an A," Tsukasa spoke, sitting next to Wataru.
"What a surprise. I had no idea other organizations fought the Fangires like us," Megumi noted as Nago fiddled with his ring of buttons.
"Japan isn't the only place that has them," Shiramine replied, "But the current threat isn't the Fangires, but something far more dangerous."
"The Legendorga," Tsukasa stated.
"You know of them?" Shiramine asked.
"We have our own sources. One of them being a very chatty old vampire boxer," Tsukasa explained.
"Ah...I see you also employ vampires."
"Kinda," Megumi spoke, "Karin-chan works here in this cafe, but not exactly for us in the whole hunting evil department."
"This is the only one of the two mythical beings in our employment who is good for that." Tsukasa pointed to Wataru, "But how they got free is our main question. Your Great ancestor sealed them up." he looked at Wataru, "Please tell me you can do that too?"
"I'm afraid I'm not very adept at magic like my Mother or brother." Wataru sighed, "I've tried to contact him, but he says he is held up with the leaders of both the Fangire and the Vampires trying to decide what course of action to take. And Mother...well honestly I'm not sure where she goes half the time."
"My old man won't be of any help either...the old bastard never leaves his mother's side. And even if he was here...he'd probably tell me to figure out how to do it myself…" Kivat sighed.
"I must admit, you have some wonderful agents. Not only the new Kiva, but a man with an original Rider System that I've never heard of." Shiramine smiled at Wataru and Tsukasa, "It almost makes up for some of your less impressive options." he smirked, eyeing Nago.
"...Do...do you know each other?" Megumi asked, walking up to their guest.
"Ah, yes Nago-kun was once part of our organization," Shiramine explained, "But he dropped out midway." he laughed, earning Megumi and Wataru's attention, "Actually, I was the one who evalurated Nago-kun," he walked over a little closer to Nago while leaning against a support beam for the cafe, "He has quite skillful fingers…" he smiled as Nago pulled so hard on the string holding his collection together before it snapped, making them all fall to the table he was sitting at, "He once added some buttons to my uniform."
"If we're done with the trip down memory lane..." Tsukasa sighed, "The Legendorga, we need to stop them before they begin multiplying."
"Multiplying?" Megumi asked.
"Humans who are attacked by Legendorga will become Legendorga," Shiramine explained, "Unlike Fangires who need to produce next generations or take extensive steps to turn others, or Vampires who can only repopulate by having children, the Legendorga are the true originators of the stereotype in myth of turning others into monsters with a bite," he explained, "Not even Vampires or Fangire are immune to their ability to spread and multiply."
An ambulance carrying the officers from the earlier attack sped down the road. The officer inside was crying in pain as the paramedics did all they could to try and calm him down. They succeeded in laying him down for a bit after giving him some powerful pain medication. But as they turned away to write a report, the officer tensed as wrappings formed around his hands and face. A golden mask of a mummified face formed over his actual face and was kept in place by wrappings. He slowly rose up, sitting in the stretcher, and moving despite the powerful drugs flowing through his body that should have made such acts impossible. He groaned turning to the paramedics before getting to his feet.
The two paramedics turned around and gasped as the officer raised his hands and lunged at them with a growl.
"So...Legendorga...more or less a zombie apocalypse waiting to happen." Tsukasa sighed as he and Wataru returned to Kiina's and his trans-dimensional home.
"I wish you'd stop calling it that," Wataru sighed.
"We need to find some way to seal them away...or wipe them out." Tsukasa spoke, opening the front gate, "But how?" he pulled Wataru aside as something was thrown out of the window, "Oi Bat…"
"My name is Kivat!"
"You're sure you don't know anything about how to seal their Lord up again?" Tsukasa asked.
"The only one who would is my father Kivat the 2nd, but he's as reliable as the morning weatherman," Kivat sighed.
"Then I'll ask Kiina for some magical help." Tsukasa sighed, opening the door and jumping over one of his magical roommates being tossed out the door, "What is going on now?"
"Someone rang another bell!"
"Nii-san no baka," Karin and her little sister deadpanned.
"That's gonna sting for a week," Tsukasa spoke, walking in, "Okay...Bad news...Legendorga Zombie apocalypse."
"Gh!" Karin's dad grunted as he collapsed, "Too...much...pride…"
"Poor guy," Kiina shook her head as Night Shift collapsed on a recliner.
"Please...stop with...the bells…" Night Shift pleaded.
"All this over him dropping a ladle since he offered and it hit a pot to make a ringing sound," Kiina noted, looking over at the downed Ren, twitching with his face sporting an imprint of the skull print of Night Shift's left glove.
"Karma…" Karin spoke, she then blinked, "Wait...what did he say?"
"Legendorga work on zombie rules, they attack you...you become one," Tsukasa explained, "They plan to spread through the world like a Zombie apocalypse and doom us all."
"He's...very...blunt…" Wataru muttered.
"You would have hesitated for an hour to tell them," Tsukasa argued.
"Maybe…" Wataru muttered.
"Kiina, quick...can you magically seal an all powerful monster king for a long time?" Tsukasa asked, making her blink at his sudden request.
"Maybe…" she replied.
"Well it's either you do that...or me and the boy jump back in time to prevent Sugimura from ever stumbling upon the Legendorga ruins under the jail and freeing Satan from Pandora's box." Tsukasa spoke, "And I don't know about you...but I don't trust time travel. It never works the way you want, just ask Marty McFly."
"Who's Marty McFly?" Tessa asked.
"...Right. Things go right over your heads when it comes to Earth references," Tsukasa facepalmed.
"Why not use Traptanium?" Kaboom asked while fanning the calm mother of Karin as she sipped some tea.
"Kiina, could we seal the ultimate evil incarnate in the stuff?" Tsukasa asked.
"Yes, it could be possible," Kiina replied as she ran out to her bedroom before coming back with a treasure chest the size of Pop Fizz and opened it, revealing Traps of various shapes, "I don't know what Element they'd be, so it's better to be safe than sorry…" she pulled out two of each color and then a lone pitch black Trap resembling Kaos' head with a strange symbol of seven silver magatama-like markings, "Best to take the Kaos Trap, too."
"But how do we get Arc out of Sugimura?" Wataru asked.
"I say lock both up...I mean...the thing went into a death row inmate. I'm sure an eternal prison will be just fine," Tsukasa argued.
"Are you sure this will work though?" Kivat asked.
"I trust Kiina far more than time travel," Tsukasa explained, "Some things can't be undone no matter how hard you fight time. I'd rather roll with the punches it gives, and use something that might not fail."
"Maybe Kadoya-san has a point," Wataru offered, "Even though going to the past might seem smart, we can't be sure someone else won't stumble upon the ruins. Even if I would have liked to have met Tousan…"
"To use them, you'll simply have to beat him down hard," Kiina informed, "Then the Trap that matches his element will start to glow. When that happens, you have to throw it right at him in order to capture."
"Oh...like Pokemon...but magic...and real... So nothing like Pokemon...hmm...though useful. Maybe with this we could have locked the old King up rather than kill him," Kivat rambled.
"You can leave that much to me and Wataru," Tsukasa spoke while taking the traps, "He and I should have enough magic to where we don't need you to get near the danger."
"How do we find them?" Wataru added.
"..." Tsukasa looked at him, "Ever been bait?"
"Eh?"
"The last guy to be Kiva locked their king up...chances are...he'll want some revenge. And since you are the current Kiva..." Tsukasa explained.
"Oh! ...Oh...Oh no…" Wataru realized.
"Ganbatte, Onii-chan," Karin's younger sister cheered in a monotone.
"How do I even be bait?" Wataru asked.
"Be yourself in public...trust me...you draw attention." Tsukasa spoke.
"..." Wataru began to try and say something.
"For safety's sake, your lady friend and her family should stay here. This place is magic and can protect them." Tsukasa added.
Wataru closed his mouth at that.
"If they do get in, there's always the basement," Kiina noted.
"Basement?" Karin repeated.
"It's an island in itself," Tessa stated, "...No, really. It's a massive island that Kiina made with her first try on using Mind Magic."
"Magic." Tsukasa shrugged.
"Honestly after staying a night inside of a Dragon that's also a castle...nothing shocks me." Karin spoke.
"Doran is very gentle." Anjuu added.
"If only the three idiot guardians would do their jobs better instead of playing magic poker." Kivat sighed, "Well at least we have a part timer who helps keep Doran healthy and clean."
"Part-timer?" Flynn asked, "What? He have to sign a NDA on where it is or something?"
"Eh, more like he was saved by Ramon and the other two thought he was Legendorga," Kivat noted, "Considering he's a giant blue mummy with powers over the ground and water, I'm not surprised with how they came to that conclusion."
"A giant blue mummy?" King Pen asked as he entered, "Tell me, does he wear red armor that would resemble the Aztecs? Quite gentle unless angered and then he's a berserker?"
"A friend of yours?" Kivat asked, "You described him to a T, but...how? He's been stuck here for over 20 years."
"Time is irrelevant," King Pen replied.
"We try not to think of it," Tsukasa replied.
"How was your search?" Kiina asked.
"Beneficial," King Pen replied, "Tae Kwon Crow found a castle out in the forest not too far from here. When he took me to near it, we both felt a powerful magic in the air." he frowned, "Though the magic was malicious due to whomever was channeling it."
"Ten bucks...that's the place," Tsukasa sighed, "But I doubt rushing in would be smart. Chances are that the Skylanders are just as much in danger of the Legendorga curse, meaning only Riders and their armors that protect them can go."
"But you, me, and Nago-san make three only," Wataru counted.
"I think maybe Kaitoh will show up so four," Tsukasa added, "That Rey guy makes five potentially, so we might have numbers in our favor." he said while having a skeptical look.
"What is it?" King Pen noticed.
"I didn't like the feel of that Shiramine guy," Tsukasa admitted, "Ossan...up and at 'em...I need your sense of smell." he spoke to Night Shift, earning his attention, "Let's just say I hope it turns out to be nothing."
"Alright," Night Shift shrugged before turning to Karin's mother, "My apologies for having to leave, Calera, Henry, but I must do my duty in protecting others."
"I must say, you're quite the gentleman, good Night," she noted with a small smile, "I do hope you return soon. The tales of the vampire clans of Skylands have been quite informative."
"...Please tell me you weren't flirting," Tsukasa deadpanned once he and Night Shift left the house.
"Absolutely not. She's ten centuries too young for me," Night Shift replied.
"What do I do?" Wataru asked.
"Go to school, get attacked, keep their attention 'till I return...and don't die!" Tsukasa shouted.
"I don't like being bait…" Wataru muttered.
"Go to school...be bait…" Wataru mumbled, sitting in his seat at school.
"I'm sure he didn't mean anything by that…" Karin offered.
"Kadoya-san acts like I'll get in his way. Is he really that strong of a Rider?" Wataru asked, turning to Kiina.
"He is," Kiina replied, "He can even turn other Riders into weapons."
"How?" Karin asked slowly.
"..." Kiina just shrugged, not all that sure of it herself.
"Ah…" Wataru sighed.
"He's just sensitive about this stuff after all the drama with his brother," Karin explained.
"Nii-san doesn't trust me to help with the political stuff." Wataru added.
"You know that's not it. Taiga-san just wants you to live a normal life," Karin said, patting his shoulder, "Which I mean...a lot of misunderstandings made you two almost kill each other...so he just wants to make it up to you."
"I said sorry…" Wataru chuckled at that.
"Trust us...it was very dramatic...stupid and in the end Brothers happily embraced eachother as family and defeated evil together," Kivat explained to Kiina, hiding under her desk, "That damn dragon has been missing for a while though…"
"Mr. Tatsulot?" Kiina asked.
"Of course he'd show up for saving a lady," Kivat muttered.
"So far nothing's happened. Maybe the Legendorga aren't doing anything yet." Karin noted.
"Anyone noticed the teacher is writing math problems...for History class?" Kivat asked, peeking out over the desk, getting the trio's attention.
"Huh?" they looked up to see their teacher slowly writing math problems in very sloppy writing.
"...Oh I think they took the bait," Kiina realized, acting calm.
"Sensei?" Wataru asked, standing up, "Are you okay?"
"Kurenai-kun...answer this problem," he said calmly.
"Uhm...this isn't math...and I can't understand what you wrote…" Wataru said slowly.
"Talking back to the teacher...you must be…" he turned around, revealing scales growing in patches across his face and arm, "Punished." he raised his hand, no one noticing a mass of black veins forming on the Moon in the sky...before an eye opened. At that, snakes burst out of the teacher's hand and lunged at Wataru.
"Ah!" he panicked ducking down as the snakes slammed into the wall.
"Run?" Kivat asked Kiina.
"Run," Kiina agreed, grabbing Karin's hand as pulled her off with her.
"Wait for me!" Wataru panicked as he evaded the snakes and ran out the door along with the rest of his class.
The Eye on the moon blinked before glowing. People all over the city began to tense, scales growing on their skin with mummy wrappings forming and wrapping around others. Others had vines grow from their skin, slowly changing the pigment of their skin green. Others still had stone patches of skin. Their eyes began going blank before they all began slowly marching. All of them marched towards anyone who wasn't infected like them. Attacking like wild animals, all of them had their own powers of some sort to accompany the changes.
The eye looked around as the Legendorga infected continued their rampage. It stopped when it finally spotted who it was looking for, Wataru and the girls. It seemed to glow with rage as many of the infected stopped and began marching towards their destination.
Kaitoh looked down at the city from a skyscraper, the thief Kamen Rider frowning as he looked around. He looked at his gun, before looking out ahead to a castle in the distance. He sighed before turning away towards the crowd of people.
"I must be some kind of stupid to be giving up this chance…" he looked down at Kiina as she led Wataru and Karin away from the Legendorga infected, "But for some reason, I want to help that odd girl. Call it a gamble on a better treasure she can lead me to." he slotted a card into his DienDriver before jumping off the roof.
=KAMEN RIDE=
"Henshin!" he shouted as the three images overlapped with him before he touched the ground.
=DIEND!=
DiEnd stood up as he tapped his gun into his free hand, he aimed up and fired before all his bullets curved down and struck the ground in front of the Legendorga infected making them stop. He ran forward and faster then they could react or perceive. All of them falling over from strikes meant to knock them down rather than hurt.
"I hope Tsukasa has a fix for this...because I don't have a treasure for this…" Diend chuckled, realizing how many infected were surrounding him.
"Gah! Now this is infuriating...and frightening…" Night Shift gulped, his face paler than normal.
"What now?" Tsukasa asked.
"The scent of Legendorga...has increased vastly," Night Shift replied as he spun around towards the city, "Out there."
"Zombie Apocalypse…" Tsukasa sighed, "Only two ways to fix this mess...kill all the Legendorga...or nuke the world…" Tsukasa listed, "Since obviously we have no means to do the second, we gotta kill the evil things. But first...need to confirm a bad feeling I've had."
GT: Uh-oh. This is not good. Not good one bit.
