Hello! What is up with my Minions? Long time no see. Once more, I apologize for my absence. Life is crazy, what can I say? Between a new house, taking care of six pets, working my ass of and being promoted, I've been very busy. Plus writers block is a bitch. Still deciding on how to end this bad boy. I've decided to flip a coin this weekend and depending on what it lands on is how I'll end this.

Anyways, without further delay!

This was it, Lucy thought as her eyes swept across her now empty apparently, her shanking hand clutching tighter to the handles of her suitcases. All her belonging had been packed and stored within the Celestial Realm with Virgo, minus her suitcases and essentials. White sheets covered the furniture she had no need for.

A shaky exhale left Lucy's lips as she recalled such fond memories she had built with her friends and family within the small little apartment. All the breaking and entering Team Natsu did. The messes they, more specifically Natsu and Happy, left her. Writing new chapters for Levy and ready books with her on the couch. Her nightly letters to her mother. Her bubble baths with Cana.

She'd miss them.

She'd miss them greatly.

But Lucy couldn't stand to be there anymore. Anywhere was better then to be stuck in the small town and guild as Laxus.

And now she had Galen to avoid as well with how horrid their breakup hand been.

Just thinking about the kind doctor and how they parted made her mood worsen. Things had escalated after his accusations. Words were said and shouted, Natsu almost attacked him, more accusations were flung about, Loke appeared to defend her, and in the end Galen still didn't believe them, even accusing her of sleeping with Loke as well. Things ended once Lucy had reached her breaking point. One power swift slap to the face- enough to make his face swell and redden in seconds, and he was gone in a furry of anger and slight fear of Natsu, Loke, and unsurprisingly, Lucy herself.

"I'll miss this place." Her voice echoed within the bare room.

Natsu, who had stayed the whole night helping her pack her things, reached out and placed his hot hand on top of hers, squeezing it in comfort. "You don't have to do this Luce. You could stay here with us. We could just take another hundred year quest and get away from here for a few years. You don't have to quite the guild and move away from us just to get away from him." He tried.

"Yes I do, Natsu. I need to leave. I need to be as far away from Magnolia and Laxus as possible. I need to go somewhere new and fresh, without memories of him. I need to get rid of this damn love I still feel for that- that- ahhhh!" Lucy exclaimed as her hands shot up to her hair in frustration, fighting back her tears.

Natsu's warm hand moved to her shoulder, it's weight heavy and comforting, leading her the strength she needed to compose herself.

"I understand." He said, voice grave as his eyes darkened with an unknown emotion Lucy had never seen before, but being as emotionally exhausted and feeling so rundown and pained, she didn't question it any further. "But I really think you should reconsider this Lucy. You and Laxus need to-"

"We need to nothing. There is nothing left for him and I to do, and I'm going to have to ask you as your best friend and as Kin to stop trying to convince me to stay and work things out. I'm done Natsu. And if you can't understand that, as much as I love you," her hand trailed down to the key holder at her side, fingers brushing just the slightest against her keys, the threat left open in the air but still understood and received.

And although Natsu was this powerful thought Fire dragon, he had no wish to engage the blonde in combat, because although her magic wasn't as powerful as his, it was strong. And mixed in with her cunning and tactical mind, she was a force no to be reckoned with, and Natsu knew she could take him on and beat him.

"I guess this is really goodbye then." He finally said as he backed down.

"I guess it is." She agreed, hand lowering. "Thank you, Natsu."

Natsu blanket down at her. "What for?" Natsu asked before he was engulfed in a tight hug.

"For being my friend. For bringing me to Fairy Tail and giving me such an amazing family. Thank your for supporting me, for protecting me... and letting me go." She said before releasing him and sprinting out the door, a flash of golden light filling the room and blinding him for a second, her blonde locks all he could see as she vanished down the hallway and outside in her Cancer Star Dress.

"Lucy!" Natsu screamed as he tried following out after her, but Lucy was too quick for him to catch up to Cancer's Star Dress.

A roar of anguish left him as he realized that he wouldn't be able to catch up to her in time.

His inner dragon roared as it realized it's Kin was gone.

It raged in anger.

It wanted nothing more than to hunt Laxus down and destroy him.

And Natsu found himself easily giving in to its desire for blood.
