GT: Hello, all! Welcome to part 2 of the Kiva no Sekai!
Z0: The real action begins now! And twists *swings hand out and catches a nervous Kivala* You ain't going...nowhere…
GT: She is quite tiny. She can't even use Fuestles, can she?
Z0: Nope...but she has her uses in this world. For a certain someone in a pinch.
GT: Ah, cool. SZ, you do disclaimers while we bri...tor...convince Kivala to assist in a pinch.
SZ: Kay. We don't own anything aside from original content, so...start us off.
Z0: *puts on hockey mask and pulls our flaming chainsaw*
GT: We'll be busy. *pulls down curtain as Kivala starts screaming*
"Keep running!" Kiina panicked.
"Kiva, Kiva, Kiva…"
"Will you stop it with the scary chanting, please?!" Kiina pleaded before the trio ducked a barrage of snakes and bandages, "Guess not…"
"You talk a lot when panicking, don't you?" Maaka asked.
"I do not like chanting and that makes me panic more," Kiina replied.
"You know, you're like an adorable kid when scared!" DiEnd laughed, jumping off light posts to keep up with them, "Hello~" he waved.
"Oh! The End!" Kiina gasped.
"The end?" Maaka and Wataru repeated.
"DiEnd. DiEnd," DiEnd corrected, "Not 'The End.' D-I-End." he huffed, crossing his arms while jumping backwards and never losing balance, "How rude...now I might not help you."
"Ah! Sorry, sorry! It's how I heard it. Ahh...There are many names strange to me here in Japan…" Kiina sighed, "No offense to anyone here. I'm sure a lot of names in Skylands are weird here."
"You are forgiven for being an adorable little dumb-dumb," DiEnd spoke as he jumped up and began shooting at the ground, the bullets exploding and caving in the street, forcing the Legendorga possessed to stop lest they fall to the sewers below, "I...won't be paying for my damages…" he laughed as he shot the snakes and bandages that tried to get him, "That would mean selling treasure...hahaha...no...never."
"At least they can't chase us more…" Wataru sighed in relief.
"Kiva, Kiva, Kiva…"
"...You just had to say it," Kiina deadpanned as they looked to the side to see even more swarming towards them from opposite sides.
"I got it…" DiEnd sighed, holding up his gun and slotting a card into it, "This...is why I like to have my own goons."
=KAMEN RIDE: RIOTROOPERS!=
He aimed up and pulled the trigger as it split into multiple images. They came together forming a battalion of the Riotroopers from Faiz's world. They held their weapons up and ran off, forming a defensive barricade for them.
"Okay, that bought us a minute…" DiEnd looked at his wrist as if he had a watch...wait...he did have a watch...where did he get a watch, "What...they're zombies...they don't need one…" he looked at Kiina.
"Yep. Really seeing the comparisons with Skylands' greatest thief," Kiina noted, "Will they be alright?"
"Well sure...provided we kill the big boss at the scary castle." DiEnd explained, "You know typical Castlavania nonsense...Oh wait...you don't seem like cool people...doubt you got that."
"No idea where Caslavania is, so no. Is Kadoya…"
"Already left to face the big bad all by his lonesome? Yes...yes he has," DiEnd laughed, "Will he survive? ...Sadly, I don't think so. Not as he is now."
"Is now?" Wataru asked.
"Well with amnesia...he can't use his full power as Decade," he went on, "I mean...the old Tsukasa...boy was he scary. The New Tsukasa...well he's just precious." he chuckled mockingly.
"Oh this is not good," Kiina groaned, rubbing her head as she looked up at the sky, "...When did the moon grow an eye?"
"Eh?" the other teens pondered before looking up, "NANI!?"
"You three only just now noticed?" DiEnd deadpanned, "Yeah...that's a Legendorga thing…" he explained, "It's kinda important."
"By chance...can you tell us?" Wataru asked.
"That's part of the King...or rather it's part of their whole race; it's like the source of their power. It also makes for an excellent...and annoyingly literal, eye in the sky." DiEnd explained, "I'd take it...but I don't have anywhere to put it...so I'm just gonna rip the King's belt off his dead body and hang it in my treasure room."
"Are you sure he's a good guy?" Wataru asked Kiina.
"What...he's evil...it's okay for me to steal from bad guys after I kill them…." DiEnd argued, "It's not like I kill good people...I just rob them."
"I trust him since he's Kadoya's friend," Kiina replied.
"To be fair, I never said I was a hero…" DiEnd laughed, "I just take what I want...and if a bad guy has what I want...well two birds," he held up his gun, "One stone."
"You seem dangerously unpredictable…" Wataru admitted.
"I'm not gonna deny it…" he laughed, "Anywho...let's move." he stomped his foot and kicked up a manhole cover, "Might wanna breathe through your mouth for a while…"
"Not my first walk through a sewer," Kiina noted, sniffing, "And not the stinkiest."
"Really?" DiEnd and Wataru asked.
"Five words: Secret Sewers of Supreme Stink," Kiina replied before jumping into the manhole.
"In you go."
"Oh, I hate this so much…" Maaka muttered as she followed after Kiina, "Gah! Wet! Very wet!"
"And this is why I like pants over skirts!" Kiina declared.
"Arigatou," Wataru thanked.
"Eh, don't thank me. I'm still stealing that belt of his," DiEnd informed while Wataru jumped down and DiEnd covered the manhole, "Plus, I already have a talking rose in a dome. What do I need a giant eye for?"
"Mmm…" Henry paced about in the Boomer's 'basement island,' "Oh, Karin...How can she be out there in that danger?"
"Isn't her boyfriend a masked super hero of the night with magical powers and is half Super Vampire?" Spyro asked, lying in the grass and looking at his journal, "Plus, why aren't you all out there if you're so worried?"
"We're Vampires. We burn in the daylight," Ren stated.
"So? We've got Moonscreen," Spyro replied, his tail pointing to a building on the small island.
"Moon...screen?" Henry repeated.
"We've got several vampires in the Skylanders," Cynder explained, "Why do you think Night Shift is able to be out in the sun?"
"Because he's part ghost?" Henry asked, earning a dope slap from his wife.
"You guys don't technically need sleep," Spyro pointed out, "So you waste half the day doing nothing inside 'till night...where there is nothing to do. Except you know...be a creep."
"Oi," Ren frowned before King Pen walked over with a small crate.
"A gift," King Pen stated before looking at Henry, "You're a good father, Maaka Henry. A single dose can last a month."
"Now you can invade your daughter's personal life during the day, too." Spyro joked, "If they ask...I didn't tell him about the stuff."
"Amazing...such things exist," Calera noted in surprise, opening the crate to reveal dozens of individual spray bottles with a moon on the side.
"World of magic, and lots of clever people in many areas," King Pen smiled, "And at times much free time. It's more surprising when we don't have something."
"Sure, there are villains and those trying to take over, but without the dark, then what can the light do?" Cynder shrugged, "Skylands is balanced. It's…"
~Everybody's in harmony (All together now)~
"Ah. That's me. Excuse me," King Pen chuckled sheepishly as he pulled out a phone and answered, "Yes. ...They went into a sewer. ...And that is why she prefers pants over skirts. ...Alright. Thank you." he hung up, "Stealth Elf has reported they trio are currently in the sewer because the Legendorga are utilizing the King's Eye on the moon to convert the humans in town into Legendorga servants that are targeting them."
"Did you say Eye on the moon?" Spyro blinked a few times.
"Not the strangest sentence to be spoken by a Skylander," King Pen replied as the door to the outside blew open, "Your husband is a father amongst fathers, Calera."
"He nearly died once when Karin was a child and collapsed from too much blood in her," Calera noted as Ren picked up a bottle.
"He's gonna become even worse if you ever have grandkids…" Spyro spoke.
"Oh that much is for sure," King Pen chuckled.
"It seems more and more likely I'll be getting them from just Karin and Anju when she's older," Calera sighed, making Ren roll his eyes.
A manhole cover slid off its manhole from the inside. After a few moments, Wataru grunted as he pulled himself out. Once out, he turned around and helped pull Karin and then Kiina out. He covered the manhole as Kiina blinked twice at the large two-story home surrounded by trees.
"What's this place?" Kiina pondered.
"It's Wataru-kun's house," Karin replied.
"It was the only place I knew to get to from the sewers...D-don't ask…" Wataru sighed.
"How many times have you been down there?" Karin asked.
"In general or this month?" Wataru asked.
"It's nice," Kiina noted, her eyes closed with a hand over her heart, "...I can feel a strong magic within your home."
"Tousan and Kasan did spend a lot of time here before I was born. This is where they crafted Bloody Rose."
"Is that your bike?"
"Eh? No. It's a violin," Wataru replied as he led them inside the lower floor, revealing a large workshop littered with violins in various states of craft.
"Wataru really loves his craft," Karin smiled, "Thankfully...I've had enough situations where I've needed to hide here for...both dangerous and family related reasons. So I have a change of clothes."
Kiina nodded as she looked around. Her eyes closed for a few moments before she turned to a hanging violin.
"This one...That's Bloody Rose?" Kiina guessed.
"Hai," Wataru smiled, "Among those who love Violins, Father's masterpiece is considered a 'product of a deal with the devil' it's so perfect." he chuckled, "I mean...My mother was the Queen of the Vampires...so...not...Inaccurate…"
"Most of the magic I could feel outside is coming from this," Kiina noted, smiling softly, "There's nothing dark within the magic...it came from a light that only two can make in pure harmony."
"I always knew my parents had true love," Wataru smiled, "It's my dream to one day make a violin almost as perfect as theirs."
"That's why all the crazy experiments for varnish. The one thing he can never get right." a happy sounding voice cheered from within the house, "I still say the time with the burning secret sauce looked nice...even if it did scorch your eyebrows off for a month."
"And that's one of the other magic sources in here," Kiina noted.
"Oh? You can sense me?" the voice asked before a tiny pure white, silver, and lilac Kivat-bat small enough to fully fit in the palm of a hand flew in.
"She's so...tiny…" Kiina noted.
"I do try and keep a good figure, but you're no Amazoness yourself, kiddo," she landed on the table, "I'm sure my brother would explain it if he wasn't off doing something stupid, with the three Monster stooges and their extra-dimensional roommate."
"You know they don't like when you call them that, pyun."
"Oh hush Dragon boy!"
"You're gonna get yelled at again~"
"And that's the third," Kiina noted before giggling and giving a curtsey, "Hello. I'm Kiina Boomer. ...Or is it 'Boomer Kiina?' I'm still learning."
"Which is your first name?"
"Kiina."
"Then while you're in Japan, introduce yourself with your last name first and your first name last."
"Ah...Still learning."
"Quite honest…" the tiny Kivat-Bat noted, a drop of sweat going down the back of her form.
"Speaking of...why are you here, Kivala? You normally only pop up when you need a fill of energy," Wataru pointed out.
"This is the house of Kiva...you fight giant monsters and the dead risen back to life...heck, last Tuesday even. Where better to hide out the end of days?" the Kivat-Bat shrugged, "Speaking of…" she bit Kiina's thumb, "Chuuu~"
"That's kinda tingly," Kiina noted.
"Mmmm~You have some really yummy blood! So rich and full of magic!" Kivala noted.
"You also drink magic?" Wataru asked.
"The Kivat clan can mimic the ability of those we drink from," she explained, "It's why my dorky brother and dad and grandfather all have such amazing demonic power from generations of drinking Fangire Royal blood. Meanwhile, they ignore this little trick."
"So you copied Kiina's magic?" Wataru asked again.
"Bingo~ Though, if I wanted to do it to the same extent, I'd need to contract with her like Brother did with you," Kivala went on, "But...that would mean I'd need to stick to her like glue...and I prefer my freedom, thank you very much."
"Oh, that's pretty neat," Kiina noted, "...Wait. What was that about the end of the world?"
"The Legendorga."
"Oh, right," Kiina nodded.
"How can you be so calm?" Kivala deadpanned.
"I think I've dealt with enough 'end of the world' scenarios that I've become desensitized," Kiina admitted.
"I've only had the one…" Wataru muttered.
"Well, it should be obvious what to do," Kiina noted, "Go find this king and beat him up good. But to do that, we'd have to find Kadoya and Night Shift...And there are only two Skylanders I know that can find Night Shift no matter how hard he tries to hide."
"Hold," Night Shift advised, boxing glove up and making Tsukasa stop.
"What now?" Tsukasa questioned before Night Shift held up a rock and tossed it ahead of them...before bandages emerged from the ground and crushed it to dust and went back underground, "...Traps."
"Ones meant to infect anyone that makes contact with them," Night Shift added, "Better suit up. I'll be fine since I'm undead, but you could still get infected out of your armor." He proceeded to shudder, as a flash of light and familiar belt sounds went off behind him, "Ohh...That better not have been meant for me…"
"I get the feeling it's not just monsters looking for us," Decade spoke, walking forward.
Kiina reached into her pocket and pulled out her staff. She tapped it on the floor and her outfit changed into her normal attire. The green crystal on the staff began to glow as she inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly.
"Please, come to my aide!" Kiina declared, tapping the staff again on the floor, "Skylander of the Life Element! Stink Bomb!"
Before her, the Life Element symbol appeared. Suddenly, the bottom half and top half slid apart diagonally. In a flash of light, a figure appeared. Before them now was a green-furred skunk-like humanoid with solid white eyes. He had a topknot on the back of his head, three fingered hands ending in white claws, and leather armor with spikes coming out of the arm guards and lower leg guards.
"Clear the Air," the Skylander stated.
"Ugh…" Kiina stumbled a little, sweating coming off her, "Phew...Not passing out this...time…"
"If you need magic, why not try holding Bloody Rose?" Kivala offered, "It responds to emotions, and oddly has a deep well of magic within it. You know...cause of love and all that."
"May I…?" Kiina asked, looking at Wataru.
"Of course," he nodded as he took it out, "I don't exactly use magic like you. If anything, I just have used it to focus my powers." he explained, gently handing it to her.
Kiina closed her eyes once she was given it. The violin began to glow softly...before the strings began to move as if a bow was on them. A soft, gentle melody began to play from the violin for a few minutes until the glow moved from the violin to Kiina. She exhaled slowly before opening her eyes and giving it back to Takeru, looking better than before.
"Oh...amazing...you look...better...ah uh...I mean...before you looked…" Wataru rambled, trying to find the right word.
"You looked like rubbish…" Kivala blurted out.
"It's okay when girls say blunt things to each other...that explains a lot…" the second voice from within the house explained.
"Tatsulot...where even are you?"
"I'm building a little nest for myself inside the attic…"
"We have an attic?"
"We do now…."
"I take it this involves all those monsters we were battling back in Skylands," Stink Bomb noted.
"It's a long story, but I need your help in finding Night Shade," Kiina explained, "He's with Kadoya-a new friend-and trying to find these Legendorga and…"
"Ah, say no more," Stink Bomb replied, holding a hand up, "He's told every member of the Swap Force about them many a time."
"Swap Force?" Karin repeated.
Stink Bomb smirked before moving his hips to the left and then bumping something in thin air. Wataru and Kiina gawked as Stink Bomb's lower half was suddenly Night Shift's lower half.
"A century ago, we of the Swap Force were caught up in a magical volcanic eruption that caused us to be capable of 'swapping' out lower halves with one another no matter the distance," Stink Bo...Stink Shift explained, "We tend to use this to also sense where the others are if we spend enough time with another's lower half, such as Night Shift and I have."
"I have no words for this...and I on the regular fuse with a Werewolf, Merman, and Frankenstien's monster…" Wataru muttered.
"Night Bomb is currently out in the forest to the west of here," Stink Shift informed before a screeching melody erupted from the Bloody Rose, "What was that?"
"Not good…" Wataru spoke.
"Bloody Rose often tells him when people are in danger from Fangires...or any other monster clan," Karin explained.
"And given how harsh that sounded, not a Fangire," Kivala noted.
"Kiva...Kiva…"
"...Can Legendorga smell you?" Kiina asked with wide eyes at Wataru.
"..." Wataru took a moment to smell his shirt, "All I smell is sewer…" he admitted.
"Uh no...I think they found him 'cause they got Wataru's dumb best friend…" Kivala pointed to a young man with long hair tied back in a ponytail, dressed up in a rocket attire complete with a guitar case on his back, slowly banging his head on the front window but not with enough force to break it, "Even as a zombie, he's a complete idiot…"
"Oh dear," Karin gasped, "He's going to have a headache later…"
"So...they have his memories now that he's one of them?" Wataru asked.
"I don't know how it works…" Kivala muttered, landing on Kiina's shoulder, "But it sure...is he trying to bite the door knob off…?" they looked at Wataru's friend as he was indeed gnawing on the door knob, "I tell you he's too stupid to live on his own...ah well, since they know where here is...next hideout...the Vampires' house. It's hidden by magic, too."
"Back into the sewers?" Kiina asked as Karin peeked out a window.
"Nope," Karin replied, seeing some coming out of the manhole opening.
"Allow me," Stink Shift spoke before 'bumping' his hip again, his lower half once more making him Stink Bomb before opening the window and jumping out.
"Kiva…" the enslaved droned as Stink Bomb calmly walked up, turned around, raised his tail and…
*BOOM!*
"Did he just…?" Karin began to ask with wide, blank eyes as green smoke completely covered that side of the home.
"Yes," Kiina replied as she grabbed the two and pulled them towards the other end of the house, "He's giving us an opening to flee! He'll catch up to us later and when he does and we're all safe, Wataru can go with him after Kadoya and Night Shift to beat up the guy behind all this."
"That sounds like a great plan…" Wataru spoke, "But...one problem...Where is Kivat!?" he shouted in panic.
"..." Decade tried to not look at Night Shift, who had purple cheeks while trying not to look at him, "So that's a thing…"
"No matter how many times it happens, it still disturbs me," Night Shift muttered, waving off some mud still on him, "Blasted Stink Bomb changing bottom halves with me just as we were going over a mud pit…"
"I'll never get used to your world's powers."
"Tsukasa, my good boy, I have lived for several hundred years now and even I am not fully used to Skylands," Night Shift replied before putting a glove to the side of his nose and blew out a bit of mud, "Ah, much better." he sniffed the air, "We're close." he moved a branch out of the way, revealing a large castle ahead of them, "Ready for this?"
"Not really, but fate of the world," he sighed.
"Good. If you said 'yes,' I'd bash you into the ground for tempting Murphy's Law," Night Shift snorted.
"Excuse you?"
"Let me say this: Freeze Blade said 'yes' when I asked over a hundred years ago, and-BOOM!-we ended up getting caught in the eruption of the magic volcano of the Cloudbreak Islands and ended up with the power to switch out lower halves with each other and were trapped as little statues for a hundred years! With my face being stuck under Stink Bomb's keister because of course we wouldn't be all nicely lined up but stuck in a pile!"
"Huh…" he blinked at all that information.
"Alright, let's get going then," Night Shift spoke, eyes narrowing at the castle, "The sooner they're gone once more, all the better."
"I hate curses spread by an object in the sky and no aerial Skylanders that can reach it…" Kiina groaned as the trio fled from a swarm of Legendorga servants by climbing a ladder for a fire escape.
"I...hate that my stamina is so low out of my armor…" Wataru huffed, "Magic makes no sense some days…"
"Tell me about it, and I live in a world made of magic," Kiina rolled her eyes as she and Karin pulled him up before she tapped her staff on the ladder, making the spot turn bright red and melt with the other part snapping off and dropping the ladder and the servants drop, "And I am so glad I've been doing magic buildup exercises so that I can do that without fear of exhausting myself after just a few."
"Let's get to safer grounds and then complain," Karin offered as she pushed them ahead and up the rest of the fire escape to the roof.
"You don't think Mr. Kivat got converted, do you?" Kiina asked.
"If he did, he'd be trying to attack us and not ignore Wataru calling for him," Karin noted.
"He goes off on his own for stuff a lot...but he always tells me where he goes," Wataru spoke, "Last time he up and vanished like this...oh no…"
"What?" Kiina asked.
"He's time traveling…" Wataru explained, "If he vanishes with no explanation, it's 'cause he used the time door, and forgot that you spend the same time gone from the present as you do in the past."
"Does he do that often?" Kiina asked.
"Only if he had a crazy idea…" Wataru explained.
"At least he didn't suggest going back in time to make Arc never get a body," Kiina noted, "Because that normally just leads to the event you're trying to prevent to happen anyway. I think Deja Vu called it...um...a causal loop, I think."
"Yeah that...ah…" Wataru paused, "Why do I suddenly remember reading my Father got sent to jail…?"
"...He didn't," Karin facepalmed.
"Wait...I think it gets worse…" Wataru massaged his head, "In the article...he had an accomplice...one you know...very well…" he looked at Karin.
"No…"
"Wataru! I think I screwed up!" Kivat cried, flying down, "Also...Karin's dad now has a record…"
"WHY!?" Karin cried, grabbing and shaking him around, "What did you and my dad do!? How bad?!"
"Um...Good news is that our travelling friends gave your family a way to be able to come to family events for your school…"
"Don't change the subject," Karin glowered.
"Explain…" Wataru sighed.
"Okay, so I ran into Karin's dad after he ran out...I talked about an idea with him. He agreed to go back in time, stop the event that let Ark gets his host...ended up in a strange argument with Wataru's dad...hugged him when he learned who he was, leading to hijinks...and then them getting arrested and sent to the clink where the whole thing happened in the first place! We tried to prevent that...but time ran out and we got poofed back here...We think it just happened after we vanished."
"So you caused a causal loop," Kiina noted.
"We most certainly did not! We just went back in time, ended up in the right jail, and tried to...to...oh, we did, didn't we?"
"I'm going to talk Dad's ear off later...but for now...we need to get out of this mess!" Karin pointed Kivat to the possessed humans chasing them from below.
"Hmm...Dad called it right...End of days begins with humans going crazy...I thought he was just drunk…" Kivat muttered.
"All the men of our family are idiots…" Kivala sighed.
"Shut up, you spoiled little brat…" Kivat replied.
"Can we please not have an argument and get away from here?" Kiina asked as she looked away before her eyes widened, "Incoming from above!"
"AH!" Wataru panicked, pushing Karin and Kiina down as the stone Legendorga crashed onto the roof.
"Is that a Gargoyle?" Kiina pondered once she recovered from the push.
"Please be like the ones from the Disney American anime…" Wataru gulped.
"Kiva...I'm here to collect your head," the Gargoyle Legendorga growled.
"Not like the American anime...!" Wataru muttered in a tone like he was about to cry, "Kivat!"
"Kivatte Ikuze!" he cheered, flying around Wataru before going for his hand, "Gabuu!"
"Henshin!" Wataru shouted, transforming into Kiva in a flash as silver shards fell around him.
The Legendorga growled as he moved to charge only to cringe as a blast hit his shoulder, making him stumble around. Gargoyle, Kiva, and the girls looked at the attacker and blinked seeing two figures standing there. One was DiEnd and the other was...Ixa, but...he was different. His visor was closed and didn't seem to be able to open, and his armor looked a little more scratched in a few small places.
"That's the guy you brought me here for?" Ixa spoke in a totally different voice from Nago's.
"Hai," DiEnd smirked, "If anyone who looks like an armored bat is fighting them, they are a good guy. Same for anyone in pink."
"I don't care; I'm doing this to protect the ladies," Ixa explained as he looked at Karin and Kiina and clicked his tongue as if flirting with them, "Just you wait, my Kittens...Ixa will handle this freak!" he shouted, charging as he punched the Gargoyle Legendorga across the face making him stumble back.
"Eh...Ixa...but...not...Nago-san…" Kiva blinked.
"You know him well," DiEnd explained, walking over, "I had to pay for his parole just to be able to summon him, you know." he then walked up to Karin and Kiina, "Ladies...let's let the family reunion commence while we escape."
"Family reunion?" Kiina repeated.
"No way…" Karin gawked before shuddering, "Gross, gross, gross…"
"Wait...then that's...my…"
"Dad...yes...and he just hit on your girl...yes, this is him before he met your mom. Now go." DiEnd sighed, kicking Kiva in the rear and sending him stumbling forward.
"Huh...Guess being a Kamen Rider runs in the family," Kiina noted.
"Dad...Wait, that's my son!?" Ixa snapped as Kiva tumbled into him, "So this is the future...and my boy is also a Rider...soka! Those are your girls! You're just like your Papa!"
"True love changes people…" DiEnd muttered, looking at Kiina.
"I'm not interested in dating yet," Kiina informed and pointed at Karin, "It's just her."
"Aw…" Ixa sighed, "Turn up the charm, kiddo."
"Eh?" Kiva blinked.
"We can talk this later!" he turned to Gargoyle, "We have a strange fellow to beat up."
"Strange?!" Gargoyle snapped.
"Have at it, boys," DiEnd waved as he picked up the girls and jumped away.
"That guy bugs me…" Ixa spoke as he and Kiva turned to the Legendorga.
With that, the two riders ran forward as they began swinging, forcing the Legendorga to block as the two attacked from both sides. The monster blocked a kick from the right by Ixa only to get punched from the left by Kiva. The Legendorga raised both arms to block a punch from both, only to flinch at no hit connecting. He lowered his arms only to cry in pain as both Riders punched him in the face, knocking him back.
Kiva rushed forward as he swung with his left. As the Legendorga blocked, the Rider spun around and slammed his right elbow into the monster's back, making him stumble forward. Ixa landed a punch to Gargoyle's face, making him stagger. Ixa continued on, keeping his arms up like a boxer as he landed blow after blow to the monster's face and chest, knocking him back with each step. Gargoyle grunted as Kiva rounded behind him and landed a kick to his back, sending him into a powerful right hook from Ixa. Ixa spun and landed a reverse roundhouse that struck Gargoyle and made him spin around to Kiva who swung his own leg and struck him across the face. The two Riders grunted and punched as they struck Gargoyle's torso at the same time, keeping him stuck in place.
The two Riders jumped back as Gargoyle was left to collapse over. The Legendorga grunted, pushing himself up only to blink as both Riders reared their arms back and punched with enough force to send him flying off the roof.
"Uh...don't Gargoyle's fly?" Kiva asked.
"This one isn't…" Ixa looked down.
The two then flinched as the building began shaking. They turned around as the floor began cracking as vines pushed through. The two sighed before running off to the side and jumping off the side. The two Riders adjusted themselves and leaned towards the building, using their armored hands to help slow their fall by holding them up against the side of the building. Gargoyle grunted, getting up before yelping as both Riders landed on his shoulders, pushing him back down.
"How many monsters are out to kill you anyway?" Ixa asked.
"It...depends…" Kiva argued as they began running, "It used to be every weekend...then everyday, then twice a day, then now and again...now...it's apparently the end of the world and I am wanted dead, by an evil overlord...but you know...just another Monday!"
"You're so totally my son…" Ixa muttered at that.
The two stopped as their path was blocked by the Mummy and Medusa Legendorga. They turned around only to blink as the Gargoyle and Mandrake Legendorga closed off the other path.
"Hmm...all of them here at once?" DiEnd noted from a rooftop with the girls.
"Shouldn't you help?" Karin asked.
"Not my style." he shook his head, "But don't worry…" he spoke as a loud wolf howl filled the air.
"A werewolf?" Kiina pondered, earning a look from Karin, "...I know several werewolves and was invited to a few Full Moon Parties by them."
"Yes...Wataru has many literal one of a kind friends," DiEnd smiled.
The Legendorga blinked before Mummy and Medusa flinched as they were blasted by lightning. The three men walked forward as they made their way up to Kiva. Ixa looked at each of them a few times, wiping his visor clean to be sure of what he was seeing.
"Minna…" Kiva began.
"If you think we'd sit around in the house while this went on, you got another thing coming," Jiro spoke.
"It's been a while since we broke rules and left like this," Ramon smiled.
"Destroy…" Riko growled as the Legendorga regrouped.
"..." a bald, muscular, Egyptian male in a black butler's uniform raised a brow at them.
"Let's get wild…" Jiro growled as he crouched down and began dragging his nails across the ground, making blue sparks fly. Blue flames formed around him as he began to change, until he was replaced by a blue werewolf monster, what looked like vines growing from his shoulder as a gold horn grew from his forehead.
"Hehehe…" Ramon smiled as water formed around him before splashing against him, making him grow in size, replacing him with a green scaled fishman monster with golden accents.
"Grrr…" Riki growled as he messed up his own hair before bashing his fists together, purple electricity surged around him as he grew larger and more muscular. Replacing him was a purple armored monster, he had large shoulder pads, with huge gauntlets and matching boots. His face framed by metal and bolts for ears as electricity crackled from him still.
The Egyptian man brought his hands together before bowing. Sand and water erupted around him before dispersing, replacing him with a bigger, more muscular mummy. Blue stone gauntlets covered his lower arms/fists along with blue stone boots. He wore a bright red and dark red loincloth and shawl while his head was made of the same blue stone. Glowing blue eyes shined in the sockets.
"A Watery Grave Awaits!" the mummy declared.
"Grave Clobber!" Kiina gasped, "...How did he do that?"
"Hm?" Jiro's ear twitched as he glanced over at them, "Huh...Oi, mummy boy. That her?"
Grave Clobber looked, "Ah...She is…"
"What luck...your wait is over then!" Ramon cheered, "Hope she likes the trick we taught ya."
"Fight first…" Riki growled.
"Agreed," Grave Clobber cracked his knuckles.
"He's new," Kiva noted.
"They thought he was Legendorga until the one we fought showed up and had him locked up in the wing you're not allowed in still," Kivat explained.
"How many secrets do you guys have?" Kiva asked.
"No one told him about the magic bigger on the inside Onsen bath, right?" Ramon asked.
"Wait...What was that about them thinking that ugly thing was me?" Mummy asked Medusa, earning a dope slap from her.
"Ugly? You are the one...who looks as if he...were Ammit's chew toy," Grave Clobber snorted.
"...Okay, I call dibs on either killing or converting you!" Mummy snarled, pointing at the Skylander mummy.
"Ikuze!" Kiva shouted as he and his monster companions all got into battle ready stances.
With that, both sides charged. Basshaa and Dogga tackled Gargoyle as Dogga bashed his fists into the stone skinned Legendorga again and again, sparks flying with each impact. Basshaa growled as he slashed with his claws striking Gargoyle's back making him stumble into a punch Dogga. Basshaa jumped back before he began shooting bullets of water from his mouth, each one striking Gargoyle just before Dogga's fist struck him again.
Garulu growled as he tackled Mummy over before swinging around and bringing him down and into an arm lock. The blue wolfman growled as he lifted his leg and brought it down repeatedly on the Mummy Legendorga's chest making sparks fly with each impact. Garulu growled and released Mummy just in time as Grave Clobber grabbed and lifted him before spinning around and slamming him into the ground.
Kiva shouted as he jumped over a swing from Medusa. He spun around and kicked her across the face, making her back up. Ixa grunted as he grappled with Mandrake before he grunted and slammed his knee into the plant monster's stomach. Ixa spun Mandrake around as he continued bashing his head. As he did, he spun and tossed Mandrake into Medusa, knocking her over. The two Legendorga grunted and pushed each other before looking up as Kiva and Ixa rushed them. The two Riders jumped into the air and rolled forward before swinging their legs out and kicking both Legendorga and sending them tumbling away.
Kiva landed and rolled forward before he jumped over Mandrake and tackled over Medusa. Mandrake blinked a few times before turning around as Ixa jumped and slammed a roundhouse kick to his face, knocking him over. Kiva and Medusa circled one another before charging, the Legendorga laughed as she was able to reach first and began choking Kiva. Kiva grunted as her grip strength was powerful befitting of her snake theme, but it lessened when they both heard the sound of a whistle coming from Kivat. Garulu growled upon hearing the call as he rushed to Kiva's side...and seemed to fuse with the Rider. Suddenly, Kiva's eyes turned blue as his left hand and arm was now covered in blue armor with a wolf paw-themed shoulder pad, and a silver and blue chest plate.
Kiva growled in Garulu's voice as he leaned forward, making Medusa lose her grip. He lifted the kris-themed sword in his left hand and slashed her across the chest sending sparks flying. He slashed again as his arm moved faster and faster with each swing, sparks flying as Medusa cried in pain with each and every swing. He swung back and slashed Mummy across the chest. Kiva growled as he used his free hand to grab the Mummy Legendorga by the throat and began pushing him back as he continued hacking away at his side making more sparks fly.
"What the…? How did? When did he? Wha?" Kiina gawked.
"We have special whistles called Fuestles that Kivat can blow into to let us give him power ups," Basshaa explained.
"Fuestle?" Kiina repeated as her thoughts made her think of a red and gold whistle Kivat blew into, 'So that whistle that called Tatsulot was called a Fuestle…'
Kiva growled as he slashed Medusa before he kicked Mummy, only for the Legendorga to grab his leg. Kiva tossed his sword up into the air as another whistle was heard. This one was deeper like a pipe organ. Suddenly, Kiva now had purple eyes with large purple shoulder pads and shielded gauntlets. His thicker torso armor had a chest piece resembling two bashed together fists. In his arms was a long black shaft leading to a giant purple war hammer shaped like a fist. Kiva growled and swung down, striking Mummy and making even more sparks fly as the Legendorga was forced to release Kiva's leg. Kiva grunted in Dogga's voice as he swung around and slammed his hammer into Medusa, knocking her over. He turned around and shifted his stance before thrusting his hammer forward and slamming the top into Gargoyle, making him double over and cling to the head of the Hammer...which Kiva lifted and used to swing the Legendorga into Mummy, knocking both down. Kiva growled, bashing his chest as he ignored Medusa's strike to his back as if it did nothing.
"Ugh...That lousy…" Mummy groaned before looking up to see Grave Clobber looking down at him and Gargoyle, "Oh you lousy…"
Grave Clobber chuckled before spreading his arms out...and fell over on them. The two screamed as they were sent flying up by a massive wave of water from Grave Clobber crashing down on them before the mummy Skylander stretched his arms out as rocks and sand engulfed them, doubling their size. The two fell back down and right into a lariat from Grave Clobber that knocked them into the ground, leaving holes shaped like them in it.
"This...this can't be possible...you're lesser Clans...How can you push us back!?" Medusa asked as Kiva slowly walked towards her, dragging his hammer along the ground and making sparks fly.
"Haven't you figured it out?" Ixa asked as he spun around and backhanded the Mandrake Legendorga, letting Basshaa swing and slash him across the chest, "You underestimated my son's power!" he declared as he swung and landed a lariat to the Legendorga.
"Ha!" Kiva roared, swinging his hammer as he struck Medusa, making her stumble back and into Mandrake.
A third whistle that sounded more like a trumpet went off as Kiva skipped forward, his right arm now covered in green armor with bladed fins and a shoulder pad shaped like a large fish fin. His chest armor resembled scales as his eyes had turned green. He raised up a green gun resembling an old flintlock pistol with a spinning ring of fins. He began shooting bullets of water which hit with such force the two Legendorga were forced to back away as sparks flew. Stray shots of water pierced stone and metal around them like they were paper emphasising the power behind each blast.
"Oh, I really hope that we don't get in trouble for all this damage if we don't fix it later," Kiina cringed.
"You're on your own for that…" DiEnd replied quickly as he looked away toward the sky.
"We have really good construction workers in Japan," Karin assured the worried Kiina.
Mummy, Gargoyle, and Medusa were sent flying by large blast of water made by both Kiva and Grave Clobber. The trio grunted and decided to run, leaving Mandrake behind.
"Ah, what are you do…" Mandrake demanded, about to turn to them only to grunt when his legs wouldn't move, "Nani?" Mandrake looked down to see stone alligators with water spilling from their jaws were wrapped around his feet while Grave Clobber had gone to a knee with his hands dug into the ground.
Kiva stepped forward as he reverted to his base form. He pulled out a Fuestle on his own, this one had what looked like an Easter Island head on it. He slotted it into Kivat's mouth as a whistle began blowing.
"Burron Booster!"
Those who didn't know what this was turned as Kiva's bike began driving itself towards its master's location. A golden blur shot by as it was indeed a large Golden head which split open and docked to the back forming boosters, and front to form a battering ram. The bike now looked like a golden rocket. Kiva quickly jumped on as he revved the throttle, making huge rocket thrusters ignite and send him shooting down the road like a bullet. Kiva roared as he aimed at Mandrake.
The Legendorga formed a wall of vines to try and block only to cry out in pain as a blast of what looked to be solar energy struck him from behind. Mandrake turned to Ixa who held his knuckle up before jumping out of the way just as Kiva drove through the vines and Mandrake, causing a huge explosion.
"A Rider Break…" DiEnd spoke, "A powerful move where Kamen Riders use their bikes to crash into an enemy. It's very violent and simple...so don't try that at home."
"Huh...Reminds me of when a SuperCharger fights with their vehicle with a charging attack," Kiina noted.
The three Arms Monsters growled as they began chasing after the Legendorga, leaving Kiva, Ixa, and Grave Clobber behind. The Skylander exhaled slowly as he got back up, pulling his fists out of the ground.
"Those three never change, do they…?" Ixa sighed, "Even back in my day, they were an impatient bunch." he reached down and undid his belt revertint to his civilian self.
"Riki and Jirou...locked me in a room...for twenty-two years…" Grave Clobber nodded, "Only Ramon...listened to my...tale."
"Don't take it too hard...Those two are the only adults...Ramon is just a kid compared to them. But all three are the last of their kind...They don't trust easy. Took me forever to get them to stop trying to kill me," Otoya sighed, having to get on the tips of his toes to pat the mummy's shoulder.
"I suppose you had...a profound effect on...them," Grave Clobber noted.
"Strange…" DiEnd spoke, jumping down with the girls, "Normally once the fight is over, my Summons vanish...but yet...you are still here." he looked at Otoya, "That's never happened before."
"My business ain't done yet, Blue boy," Otoya replied as he slung an arm around Kiva, "Not 'till I finish helping my son, so you're stuck with me 'till then."
"Well, that explains how you appeared in this time," Kivat noted as Kiina ran over to them.
"Grave Clobber! It's nice to see you again!" Kiina beamed.
"Indeed," Grave Clobber nodded.
"I'm glad to see you're alright," Kiina noted, earning a chuckle from the Skylander.
"If the grave didn't hold me...what chance did Kaos'...Sky Eater have?" the mummy replied.
"Hold on," Kiina noted as she dug into her robes and pulled out a bottle of water, "Here you go."
"Thank you…" the mummy replied as he opened it and drank it, "Ahh...Haven't had anything to drink in twenty-two years."
"Those guys…" Kiva sighed in disappointment as he crouched down.
"They are...and always will be incompitent chowder-heads…" Kivat sighed.
"As the masters of the castle...they feel bad for how you were treated," Karin explained to Grave Clobber.
"Hey...what's with the talking bat thing you use? Gives me this...feeling of concern for my own life when I look at it," Otoya noted.
"His future…" DiEnd whispered to Kiina.
Kiina nodded, "Though...it doesn't seem all that bad. They taught him an amazing new ability from what I saw."
"Eh?" Kiva pondered.
"Young Ramon did," Grave Clobber informed, "To help me easier hide amongst the populace until I could find either a fellow Skylands native or you, Portal Mistress." he brought a fist into his palm and bowed to her, "I am now Grave Clobber of the Water and Earth Elements and Sensei of the Brawler Class. I serve you now as my people once did me."
"So you used to be...a Pharaoh?" Kiva asked, hearing that.
"Yes. Several centuries ago, I was...until my seven brothers buried me in a watery tomb whilst I slumbered," Grave Clobber growled, cracking his knuckles, "Didn't expect me to rise from the grave after they turned my kingdom to ruin and our family name to fade to the sands and hunt them all down."
"Yeesh…" Otoya cringed, "Never been more glad to be an only child. Wait...Wataru, do you have siblings?"
"I...can't fully answer that…" Kiva replied slowly, "But...let's just say...I can kinda relate."
"Things are better now," Karin replied.
"I was very stupid…" Kiva sighed.
"From the stories Ramon would tell...stupidity runs in your father's side," Grave Clobber noted with a chuckle.
"I'm not afraid to slap undead royalty," Otoya deadpanned, slapping said undead royal on his bandaged chest as he spoke and only making him chuckle more.
"Well this is nice, but since you all have adults to take care of you, I'm off," DiEnd spoke, walking away, "End of days, got me some looting to do. From some...powerful vampire and Fangire nobels…" he laughed.
"He's a nice guy," Kiina noted with a smile.
"He just said he was going to rob people," Karin deadpanned.
"He at least helped us…" Kiva added as he finally undid his armor, feeling no danger in the area finally as Grave Clobber took on his human disguise.
"There is still the issue of the humans that were transformed by the Legendorga," Grave Clobber noted.
"Did you have to remind us?" Kiina and Karin groaned.
"Just punch 'em…" Otoya offered, "It's what I do whenever a guy I don't know touches me." he shrugged, "Works every time except for this one weirdo, some gaijin who said we were future family. I swear I saw him once before creeping on these girls I was flirting with...said something about being a vampire but I didn't buy it...he's too goofy."
"..." Karin groaned once more, facepalming as an embarrassed blush formed on her cheeks.
"Kivat…" Wataru sighed.
"Wait...Kivat poofed back with us...So where did Karin's Dad end up?" Kiina asked.
"Uh-oh…" Kivat realized.
"Kivat…" Karin began.
"Uh...I-I'm sure he's fine…maybe...probably...could be stuck in a tree by his suspenders..."
"Ah...Kivat...please go find him," Wataru ordered, "If we run into danger, Tousan and Grave Clobber can cover me while you fly back to me should I need you."
"Right...I'll go find him," Kivat replied, quickly flying off and away from the glare Karin was giving him, "KIVATTE FLEE!"
"He was just trying to help…" Wataru offered to try and calm Karin down.
"Something tells me that damn bat causes trouble for you two…" Otoya noted, "That's right...going off what the Blue boy said...is this little lady my future Daughter in law?"
"E-E-EH?!" both exclaimed, their faces lighting up in heavy blushes.
"Hmm...I approve," Otoya stated, crossing his arms as he nodded before giving a thumbs up and smile to Wataru, "You're just like your Otou-san with a perfect eye for a lovely maiden!"
"Chotto Tousan…" Wataru spoke, trying to get his time displaced father to shut up.
"Stop! Don't say a word, son!" Otoya spoke, "We need not speak of such things, as my son and succesor to the Kurenai name...I know you have a natural instict when it comes to the opposite sex." he put his hands on Wataru's shoulders, "As such, move forward proudly, my boy! Ah...I bet my future grandson will come out just as handsome as his Grandpappy!"
"...I'm not really following this. Are you?" Kiina whispered to Grave Clobber, who shrugged.
"Both our dads are utterly embarrassing…" Karin replied, "Mine for being so silly...and Otoya-san for having no filter for the things he says and does."
"Da heck is a filter?" Otoya asked.
"Something tells me he'd get along well with Kadoya…"
"Hehehehe...Gesundheit," Night Shift chuckled as an annoyed Tsukasa pulled himself out of the mud he had fallen into from the surprise sneeze he had mid-swing.
"I hate when this stuff happens to me." Tsukasa noted, "And magic forest labyrinths."
"True. It does make things complicated," Night Shift noted before rubbing his chin in thought, "...We need Kiina to get kidnapped again."
"What?"
"Magitek tracking device," Night Shift replied.
"Think if we tempt fate enough, Murphy's Law will help?" Tsukasa asked honestly.
"Hmm...Couldn't hurt to try," Night Shift shrugged, "I mean, it's not as if I'm two days from retirement. Or that any of this is far too easy."
"Heck, this is far from the worst adventure ever, it can always get worse!" Tsukasa chuckled, "I mean it's just a run of the mill apocalypse. What else could go wrong?"
At that, the two just began laughing happily as if this was indeed one big joke. It was very possible that this ability to taunt fate was a secret power they both hid from others.
'I get the feeling a Skylander just tempted Murphy despite the classes on not tempting Murphy,' Kiina thought with an eye twitch.
"I sense an angry woman," Otoya spoke suddenly, "Quick son! Hide!" he shouted, rushing into a closet.
"...I'm not going to say the obvious joke here," Kiina deadpanned.
"Tousan...why did you...?"
"My Son...when you've met as many women as dear old dad...you know when to run from one who is angry!" he explained.
"D-does that happen a lot?" Wataru asked in concern.
"What...no no...maybe...kinda...all the time…" he admitted, "Only after I have moved on too fast...honestly my record for dates in one week...is in the triple digits…"
"Kaasan must have been very strong willed…" Wataru muttered.
"So we're dealing with ancient monsters that are taking over humans that are all after us, some of them may know Wataru and Karin's normal places to hide, and we have a time-displaced father who's a womanizer," Kiina listed, "This is just not my normal day…"
"I've joined a monster hunting secret agency just to get a date once. I am able to roll with any punch," Otoya explained, "What I've learned is, trust the smartest lady in the room to make all the decisions to save your skin. And punch anything that looks evil!"
"Wait...This isn't a normal day for you?" Karin asked.
"No. If it were a normal day, I'd be kidnapped by now," Kiina admitted.
"Did you just say your normal plan for saving the world is to get kidnapped?" Otoya asked, finally exiting the closet.
"No, it's just something that happens. It's gotten to the point that I had a Magitek tracker implanted in my body for the Skylanders to find me," Kiina sighed.
"So...that would mean you use this tracker to find enemy locations," Wataru spoke up, "Effectively turning yourself into a trap. One your enemies always trigger."
"Yes. That is correct."
"Hmm…" Wataru muttered at that.
"What are you thinking?" Karin asked.
"Ooh, I think I know. And I am of mixed feelings," Otoya noted, "On the one hand, it would be more effective in finding who's causing this. On the other, it endangers a beautiful maiden."
"I think she's able to take care of herself," Wataru smiled.
"I did buy a few new books when I was working as a teacher at Tōtsuki Culinary Academy," Kiina noted, "I even changed the book in my kidnapping bag that I just finished at my last kidnapping, too."
"I'm sorry. You have a book in a what bag?" Otoya asked.
"A kidnapping bag. I get kidnapped so often that it's just easier to have one on hand for the kidnappers," Kiina replied as she pulled out the bag, making all three look at her with wide eyes, "And why does everyone outside of Skylands have that same reaction? Well...That dragon Orphnoch laughed, but still the point is made. You folks are weird."
"Pot meet kettle much…" Otoya muttered.
"Oi," Kiina frowned.
"Now really isn't the time for arguing." Wataru sighed, "I'd like a world to keep living in."
"If this can work...I guess it's our only plan," Karin muttered, "Wataru-kun has fought a lot of powerful monsters before, and we can maybe make this go easier if we could contact his brother."
"His brother?" Kiina asked.
"He has an older half-brother," Karin explained.
"Oh that's perfect! An older brother is always a great help when there's trouble!" Kiina beamed, "Where would he be at this time?"
"Last I saw him he told me he would be busy dealing with the council...overseas…" Wataru muttered, "Something about a substitute food source. But he has like a dozen giant flying pets so he could be on his way back now."
"Oh dear…" Kiina cringed before sighing, "Really wish your brother was a Skylander. Then I could've summoned him as easy as lemon-orange pie."
"What about that blue gun guy who summoned Wataru's dad?" Karin offered, "He can summon people."
"What if summoning someone else does something to him?" Kiina asked.
"And where did he run off to?" Wataru added.
"Probably off to steal something…" Kiina muttered.
"So how does this normally work?" Otoya asked, holding Kiina's bag, "Do you just put it over yourself?"
"Huh? No," Kiina shook her head as she took it back, "Normally, I just step into it, pull it up, and then hold up the tassels to my kidnapper." Kiina proceeded to do that as she spoke, "So it's like th…" a blur swooped by and the quartet blinked twice, seeing her gone with the Gargoyle Legendorga flying off carrying the bag, "EEEK!"
"...Well...That just happened," Karin blinked twice.
"Why so fast...it's like someone already primed Murphy for us?!" Wataru gawked as Grave Clobber facepalmed.
"Achoo!" Tsukasa sneezed, "Okay safe to say something might have happened by now."
"Hopefully, it's Kiina being kidnapped," Night Shift noted, "Simple rescue after that. Slaughter the Legendorga and make sure none remain, get her out of there, enjoy a nice bowl of borscht with a cup of blood tomato juice and be done for the day."
"I'm sorry. Blood and tomato juice?"
"No, no. Blood tomatoes are tomatoes that, instead of having the normal juice, is blood. I rather enjoy the AB type," Night Shift chuckled.
"I bet that would help vampires all across the multiverse…" Tsukasa muttered, "Maybe make some of them not be jerks...then again, there are always jerks out there...look at me. The Multiverse decided I have the power to help fix it…"
"Ah," Night Shift nodded before Kivat hit him in the back of the head, "Gah!" he spun around, preparing a right hook only to pause on seeing the stunned Kivat, "Ah, the Kivat-Bat with the young Fangire halfling."
"Oi...you get lost, too?" Tsukasa asked bluntly.
"What? No...no no…" Kivat argued, "I was looking for Karin's Papa! For some reason, his scent was in this forest."
"The forest near the enemy base that seems to be messing with us?" Tsukasa asked, "How unlucky can one guy be?"
"You would be surprised…" Kivat muttered.
"So we have to find not only a castle, but also a fellow vampire," Night Shift noted, rubbing his chin, "This day keeps getting more complicated. May as well see if we have confirmation." he 'bumped' the air and his lower half was the skunk's once more, making him Night Bomb once more, "Oh, I am feeling a headache from Stink Shift. Yep, she got captured again."
"We got our out, first...let's find this Vampire dude...start shaking trees." Tsukasa sighed.
"How'd you know he was stuck in a tree?"
"I saw a guy dangling from one a while back but ignored his plea for help." Tsukasa explained.
"...You say someone dangling from a tree...and refused to help?" Night Bomb deadpanned.
"This man goes his own way," Kivat noted with a sweatdrop.
"It seemed unimportant to what I need to do to save the world." he admitted simply, "Come on, grab a big stick." he sighed, "I think I heard his whimpering a while back."
"...She actually put herself...in a bag?" Medusa asked, trying to make sense of it, Gargoyle holding up the bag, "She has a bag...meant for her to be kidnapped in…I...I don't get humans. Especially those with magic."
"Well I don't know. I saw a chance and took it! That weird ice guy just vanished on us suddenly! He was supposed to snag Kiva's mate so we could bring him here!"
"..." Mummy opened the bag, seeing Kiina look up from a cookbook, "That's the wrong human…"
"What?!"
"The one you were meant to grab was supposed to smell like a vampire, but isn't!"
"But she's magic~" Gargoyle argued.
"IDIOT!" Medusa snapped, chopping him on the head.
"Hold," the two tensed as they turned to their leader, sniffing the air, "...This scent...It is one I knew of as a child." he grinned in a dark delight, "A Portal Master. Gargoyle, excellent job."
"Uh...yeah, that was my plan...phew…" Gargoyle sighed.
"Sir...What is a Portal Master?" Mummy asked.
"Beings of great magical power. Ones so powerful that they can open portals to other worlds to call upon others to do battle for them. It was one who banished the Legendorga from a world where all magic originates from."
"You mean...we didn't come from this world?" Gargoyle asked, "But we've been here since...forever!"
"Idiot…" The others sighed.
"We can use her as well. But go back out and get Kiva's mate. If at least one of you doesn't return with her..." the four tensed as they fell to a knee from the intense pressure their leader unleashed, "Understand?"
"Yes!" they all bowed.
"When you say a girl of magic was kidnapped?" Keisuke asked Wataru as they gathered together with their comrades who aren't currently under the Legendorga control.
"Well...she's a girl...with magic…" he muttered, not sure how else to word it.
"So...it's the end of the world, people are turning into zombies...and your new classmate who's magic got taken." Keisuke listed, "Why does this all just sound like a typical Tuesday since I met you two vampiric pains in my butt?"
"That...is...half true…" Karin argued.
"I swear if I didn't care about you two…" the bounty hunter sighed, "So where is the new guy?"
"Searching for the Legendorga base," Wataru explained, "But he hasn't come back yet. Which has me worried…"
"Alright...so what do we do?" Keisuke asked simply, "And who is the weirdo in the outdated outfit?" he pointed to Otoya.
"How are you able to look the same twenty plus years into the future...Master?" Otoya grilled the owner of the cafe, "Tell me!"
"I eat my greens," the owner chuckled.
"You lie…" Otoya pointed at him.
"That...would be my father…" Wataru muttered.
"That...that's the Legendary Otoya Kurenai...the bane of monsters, the killer of the Fangire King...that...that's him?" Keisuke asked.
"It's been a weird day…" the two vampiric teenagers replied.
"Tell me the secret!" Otoya snapped, getting more and more annoyed.
"Right...I'm not buying this," Keisuke deadpanned, "Vampires, I can believe. Fangires, yes. Magic girls? No."
"But she has something akin to familiars," Karin argued.
"And where are they?"
"Behind you, drinking tea," Stink Shift replied, causing Keisuke to jump and spin around in surprise, "Yes, my bottom half doesn't match my upper half. Night Bomb and I are communicating in a sense. He currently feels exasperation and a little bit insulted for his race at the moment."
"Did they find my dad?" Karin asked.
"I'm unsure. We don't share sight or sound, just surface emotions."
"I'm sure it's not your dad...I mean...it could be any number of things," Wataru offered.
"Found him! Left him with the new guy!" Kivat spoke while flying in, he then looked around a few times, "Did you let Kiina get kidnapped?"
"Did you know she has a bag meant for being kidnapped?" Karin asked.
"...I'm starting to wonder if our eventual rescuing of her was just a normal Tuesday for her…" Kivat muttered.
"The Bat gets me the most," Keisuke complained, "Alright...so...magic girl...is a thing. Now we save her?"
"Preferably…" Wataru nodded.
"Our new friends can track her," Kivat added.
"What...she's chipped?" Keisuke asked.
"Yes," Stink Shift replied as he pulled out a cell phone and tapped on it before putting it to his ear, "...Hugo? Stink Shift. ...Kiina got kidnapped. ...Okay, thank you." he hung up, "We'll have the location in ten minutes."
"I miss the days when things were simple and all I had to do was kill monsters…" Keisuke sighed.
"I miss the days when bumping the air didn't cause me to switch my legs with another guy," Stink Shift noted.
"We just need to save her and stop the bad guy...s-" Wataru began before Otoya covered his mouth.
"Shh...don't tempt it, son...don't you do it…" Otoya replied.
"Temp what?" the owner asked.
"Tempt fate by saying that it's 'simple enough,'" Otoya replied before tensing, "Oh, I just said it."
"You just said it," Karin sighed.
"It's alright. Many a Skylander has failed the 'Don't Tempt Murphy' course at the Academy," Stink Shift shook his head.
"Curse you and your family, Murphy!" Otoya shouted.
"He's an idiot…" Kiesuke sighed.
"Sometimes the way of a fool is often the wisest path to take," Stink Shift noted...before pulling out a bo staff from his top and whacked Otoya upside the head, "This is not one of those times."
"Tousan is good at fighting...that seems to be all." Wataru sighed, "But he can help us. I don't know where Kiina's friend the Blue Kamen Rider ran off to. We could use all the hands we can get if the Legendorga are indeed this strong."
"...Hmm...you say he's a thief right?" Otoya asked
"I don't think he's just looting places, he must have an important target." Wataru offered.
"Then he must be a master thief, meaning he will go for an object of primo quality."
"Like...in the bad guys lair?" Keisuke and Wataru asked.
"Exactly! So we find the girl, we get our next help by 'borrowing' the bad guys' rare treasure and offer it up to him as compensation..."
"Sounds like Otoya...paying someone off to hit people for him." the Cafe owner replied.
"I will learn your secret!" Otoya snapped back at him.
"You think this would even work?" Keisuke whispered to Wataru.
"Well...it's better than letting the world end…" he countered.
"Least we know you got your brain from your mom…" Keisuke muttered.
"...I feel my ears are burning," Kaito muttered as he casually walked down the path, "...Is Kadoya talkin' about me, or is it that summoner friend of his?" he stopped, "Probably the latter...she thinks far too fondly of me….eh. May as well continue the treasure hunt..." he shrugged as he resumed walking, giving a small casual whistle as he continued down the path...right to behind the enemy's hideout.
He walked up to a stone with a glowing run along the side. Before shooting it, this caused a pulse of light to spread through the forest, causing it to...become smaller.
"Hmm?" Tsukasa raised a brow as he looked outside, "...Did the forest just grow smaller?"
"..Did the forest just get smaller?" Otoya pondered as he, Wataru and the others were standing near the forest, "I swear it looks smaller…"
"Well, it makes things easier for us," Jet-Vac noted, looking at his gauntlet, "The tracker's finally locked on."
"So I got my bike to burn a path for no reason?" Eruptor asked, wearing a helmet with a spike on top with a lance on his back...sitting on a one-wheeled motorcycle with the spherical wheel made of magma.
"I guess someone broke something." Wataru spoke up, "Whatever magic made the forest into a labyrinth is gone."
"I still think it's awesome," Spyro noted.
"Ikuze! We have a Mahou-Onna to save!" Kivat declared.
"Lets go." Wataru spoke rushing ahead.
"Yosha!" Otoya shouted as he ran after him.
"So...you're going to use me for a ritual to go back to Skylands? Or fuse the worlds?" Kiina asked, tied to the floor as the Legendorga leader wrote various runes around her.
"I almost forgot how casual Portal Masters are to their imminent death," he noted.
"Eh," Kiina tried to shrug.
"But...yes, that is the gist of it. More so...I could use your world to find a suitable host, this human form is fragile and...disgusting. I need a host that can handle my power and magic, one who won't die after I transform into my true self."
"Your true self?"
"Yes...the human I'm inhabiting...well...he's garbage, both as a person...and literally, nothing about him is special. But he freed me and let me into the world, so...I took some pity on him and used my power to extend his life, and give him a taste of freedom...that is till I killed his soul once I was back here in my castle. But once I combine with my other half, Arc-Kivat. My creation, I'll return to my true form, But...of course this human won't survive and I'll need another host if I want to conserve my power, one that can contain my powers."
"...You're gonna use me for your body...aren't you?"
"Nonsense…" he chuckled, "I'm a force of pure darkness and evil...but I'm still a man." he laughed, "No no. What I need is a strong male body that can let me use all my power, but make sure to contain it...a body worthy for me."
"Well...Sexist...but that's one less thing for me to worry about…" Kiina muttered.
"Oh no. You and your Skylanders will have uses for me and my men. Can't hurt having some more Fangires on my team."
"?! I'm sorry, but...did you imply you can turn others into Fangires?"
"No...I'm a Legendorga, but Fangires are oh so easy to manipulate...especially halfbreeds."
'...uh oh.'
"Gh?!" Wataru tensed, on the verge of sneezing as he and his group were closing in on the badguys' hideout, "Ah...ahh…" he tensed when Otoya held his finger under his nose, "...Danks…"
"Just don't sneeze on the finger. It's my violin plucking one."
"And the one for holding roses?" Eruptor joked.
"No. That's the other one."
"I wasn't expecting that." Eruptor blinked.
"Oi, what's that mean?" Otoya asked, moving over to Eruptor.
"Guys? Kiina?" Spyro reminded.
"Allow me," Grave Clobber offered, reverting to his real form, walked over to the two, put a hand on their shoulders…and threw them at the castle, magma bike and all, "GET GOING, YOU SLACKERS! BEFORE I THROW YOU INTO THE NILE DURING CROCODILE MATING SEASON!"
"...Okay, gotta note to not make you impatient," Spyro noted, inching away from the mummy.
"MOVE!"
"Yes, sir," Purple Dragon, half-Fangire, Sky Baron, Swap Force Skylander, and Kivat-Bat gulped in unison as they quickly moved it.
"If I wasn't sure he was a mummified Pharaoh before...I know now," Kivat whispered.
"How?" Wataru questioned.
"The Royal Rage is not something just anyone can perform," Kivat replied with a cringe.
"Well sounds like we're not the only ones to use this moment to their advantage," Tsukasa spoke as he arrived at the castle's main entrance.
"Magitek Tracker never fails," Night Bomb chuckled before bumping his hip and going back to Night Shift, "And since they're handling the loud entrance at the front, we'll handle the silent entrance through the back." he chuckled, "Ahh...The ninja boy gets to be explosive while the boxing vampire will be sneaking in. What a twist!"
"As long as we kill them, then the world will be safe," Tsukasa sighed, "If that much is all I have to do, then I'm glad to help. Destroying evil monsters seems to be what a Rider does after all."
"A noble goal," Night Shift chuckled, "Now onwards!" he held up a boxing glove, halting Karin's dad, "Not you. You go find your daughter. When I was using Stink Bomb's lower half, I could feel his sympathy to someone, more than likely it was because he worried for his master in the way a child does to a parent." Their hair and clothes blew by the sudden distortion of air caused by someone moving fast, "..."
"You really felt that?" Tsukasa asked.
"Nah. I just wanted him away from here. Vampire he may be, but fighter? ...Ehhh, not on the level we're going to be going at," Night Shift replied.
"True…" he then blinked, stopping at seeing a familiar man sitting at the top of the steps to the entrance, "Omae?" he blinked, seeing Shiramine filing his nails with a smile.
"Ara...New guy…" he smiled, "I half expected Nago to rush in here first."
"So...that's how you did it," Tsukasa sighed, "Kivat's use demonic energy...humans can't use that without dying."
"Yes, even if ReyKivat is a recreation, he perfectly mimics the demonic energy of the Kivat clan," Shiramine sighed, "Up 'till now, the Rey system just killed all users."
"So...you needed to be something not human…" Tsukasa began, "You became a Legendorga."
"Gh...And the only time we met, there was already Legendorga in the area so I didn't think to sniff," Night Shift scowled, "So the fighting them off, the friendship with the Kamen Rider with a knight motif...all that was a simple trick on us."
"Indeed," Shiramine smiled, "I used my role as a member of 3WA to find the Legendorga in their slumbering forms and arranged for them to all arrive in Japan via one method or another. It wasn't easy...but money talks and greedy people listen," he explained, "From there, I looked into Nago-kun and his friend Kiva. After the new guy scared off Mummy, we needed answers. Imagine my shock to learn Kiva is just a halfbreed brat, and a strange girl with magic is the cause of so much weirdness."
"Hey, Kiina is only slightly strange," Night Shift argued.
"I beg to differ given how casual she was acting after being captured."
"...Do you have any idea how many times she gets captured? At least three times a week! Of course she's desensitized! And of the three, two times she doesn't even realize it and gets away on her own without ever realizing she was kidnapped!" Night Shift replied, "Why do you think she has a bag meant for kidnapping her on her person with a book of all things in it for her to read?!"
"...I thought she was kidding about that."
"No...no she is not."
"I've learned to just let her do her thing," Tsukasa spoke, "She's better at dealing with people then me." he put on his DecaDriver, "I'm more of a punch people 'till I find the bad guy kind of person."
"Likewise," Night Shift smirked, banging his boxing gloves together, "And in this case, time to box a double-crosser like a punching bag 'till he pops."
"I was hoping for some fun," Shiramine smiled as he held a hand up, "ReyKivat."
"Okay," ReyKivat spoke, landing in his hand.
"Henshin," Tsukasa and Shiramine spoke in unison.
In a flash of light and snow, both Riders rushed on another as Rey blocked Decade's sword with his chain wrapped arms. The two clashed as Rey stuck to the defensive while Decade swung wildly.
"Jiji!" Decade spoke, spinning around and grabbing Rey in an arm bar hold, he then flipped his RideBooker to gun mode before he aimed and shot at the door, "Go to Kiina!" he ordered kicking Rey away, "He's distracting us on purpose! Help Kiina save the world!" he slammed his shoulder into Rey's, knocking him back further.
"...Alright," Night Shift nodded before flying off towards the castle, "I believe in you, Decade! Don't make me think twice about it!"
"This seems to be the one thing I'm good at," Decade spoke as he blocked a punch from Rey, "That and being the handsomest man in the multiverse."
"Oh lord, the ego is strong with this one…" Rey muttered as he blocked a punch from Decade.
"Your friend...sucks…" Ixa groaned, twitching amidst the rubble of the hole he and Eruptor made.
"Not friend...Just a fellow Skylander that was a former villain," Eruptor groaned before looking over at his bike...that was melting a hole in the floor, "Don't need this anymore." he tapped it with his lance and it shrunk down into a toy-like state that he pocketed, "Good reflexes getting that armor on in time."
"I have been in enough situations where I only have seconds to get something on over my body to save my life!" Ixa spoke...proudly.
"Father, I don't want to know the context of that!" Kiva complained in the atypical tone of a child ashamed of their parent as he flew in via holding onto Jet-Vac.
"Alright, no reason to stay hidden due to the throw," Jet-Vac noted before checking his wrist while Grave Clobber climbed up through the hole, "And the tracker says she's near the center of the structure."
"Kiva!" Mummy called out as he and Gargoyle ran into the room to see what happened, "Wait a second…" he pointed a finger at Grave Clobber, "YOU COPYCAT!"
"Tousan and I can hold them off!" Kiva spoke, getting into a fighting pose.
"Go save the magic girl!" Ixa spoke, raising his fists up, "Ike!" he called out, charging in first.
"Oi! Get back here, you copyca…" Mummy began before Kiva kicked him in the face, "Gah! Ohh...Okay, first Kiva...Then the stupid copycat I'll bury in the tomb I was in for the rest of eternity..."
"I wish my life would go back to just being about vampires and issues with Karin," Kiva sighed, blocking all of Mummy's punches before flicking his fingers out and using his claws to slash his torso, making him stagger back.
"You are my son!" Ixa cheered, blocking Gargoyle's punches before landing a jab to the Legendorga's face making him stagger back.
At that, Ixa and Kiva kicked their enemies back. The two Riders rushed and tackled the two through a wall to keep them away from the fleeing Skylanders. All the while, unaware of Decade and Rey running around the front of the Castle while still fighting.
"Ah good...I'm not the only one attacking the place!" Decade grunted, blocking Rey's punch.
"That Ixa...it didn't look like Nago…" Rey noted as he blocked Decade's sword.
"No...That'd be him," Decade jumped back as Rey was slashed across his back by the Ixa of this time.
"So you've been up here all this time?" Ixa of the present asked Decade.
"The Forest was magic…" Decade sighed, "As you've figured out, your old buddy is a bad guy."
"We contacted 3WA...Shiramine went rogue and stole the Rey system," Ixa replied.
"Guess you should've covered your tracks," Decade chuckled.
"It doesn't really matter." Rey sighed, "None can stop the Legendorga now."
=WAKE UP!=
"So I may as well keep that going by freezing you two to the soul," Rey stated, wiping his claws against one another.
"Sorry...but I have pictures to take," Decade replied, swiping his hand along his sword, "Let's just skip to the part where we kick your ass." he pulled a card out of his Ride Booker, "Henshin!"
=KAMEN RIDE: AGITO!=
In a flash of light, Decade was replaced with Agito. He sighed, tilting his neck to the side before ducking a swing from Rey before kicking him aside. Ixa aimed and fired at Rey, the evil Rider blocking with his clawed gauntlet...only to grunt as D-Agito punched him across his mask, making him stumble back. D-Agito and Ixa kicked and knocked Rey back, the evil Rider losing his balance and tumbling over.
"I'm not a fan of the cold," D-Agito replied, pulling out another card.
"Ah," Ixa nodded as he held his hand up to his mouth piece and pulled it off his helmet.
D-Agito slotted his new card while Ixa flipped the mouthguard open like a phone and pressed a combination of numbers on it, specifically '1-9-3.'
=RI-SI-NG=
=FORM RIDE: AGITO FLAME!=
Ixa's armor suddenly burst off, his suit now white, with the armor on his arms and legs now blue and black, his chest armor revealing a glowing red core unit. His helmet faded to blue as the crest that framed his red eyes moved around to form a golden crown and cheek guards as his mouthguard was now a matching gold. D-Agito's right arm and chest now red as he held his hand out for the Flame Saber to fly out into his hand. Ixa held up the phone before slotting a blue Fustle into a section on the back and unfolding it into a gun handle, making it into a new weapon.
"Your's is neat and all...but...we've fought way more stuff," D-Agito replied.
"You took a system not even meant for humans," Ixa added, "Whereas Ixa...was built solely for humans to fight back, and has evolved over many battles and users. Now Takato Shiramine...Sono inochi, Kami ni kaeshinasai!"
With that, the two rushed as Ixa began shooting, pelting Rey with bullets too powerful to block. Rey swung to claw Ixa only to be blocked by D-Agito's saber. D-Agito grunted and pushed him back as Ixa aimed and shot Rey again causing sparks to fly. D-Agito rushed and slashed Rey across his chest several times, smoking cuts forming in his armor with each one. Ixa raised both his Ixa Calibur and Ixariser as he used both guns to pelt Rey, making him cry out in pain.
"Ha!" Ixa of the past shouted, punching Gargoyle across the face multiple times. He then grabbed him by the wing-like horns on his head and began dragging him around.
Kiva grunted, flipping over another kick from Mummy before swinging a kick of his own which struck the Legendorga across his face. Kiva growled and jumped as he landed on Mummy's shoulders, the vampiric Rider using his bodyweight to flip Mummy over and onto his back, while he rolled with the action.
Mummy groaned as he got up only to grunt as he heard a whistling sound. He looked up at Kiva Garulu as he swung his sword and slashed him across his chest several times. He growled and picked the Legendorga up before running and dragging him into a stone column. Kiva growled before looking to Ixa.
"Tousan!" Kiva growled, tossing the Garulu Saber to Ixa.
"Thank you!" Ixa cheered taking the sword and slashing Gargoyle across his chest several times, he then grabbed the Legendorga by his shoulder and dragged him along before slamming him into a wall. Ixa flipped the Garulu Saber around and held it upside down before swinging and slashing Gargoyle across the chest again.
Kiva grunted as he changed to Dogga form and let Mummy punch him again and again to no effect. He lifted his hand and blocked the next punch, the Legendorga grunted trying to free his hand only for Kiva to begin applying pressure to Mummy's fist, the Legendorga grunting as his hand began sparking as he was forced to fall to his knees. Kiva lifted his Dogga Hammer… before swinging and striking Mummy across his face knocking him back and into a wall.
"Those idiots…" Medusa growled as she got up, "They are disturbing Arc-sama's plans and those fools can't even stop them!" at that, she left the room where they were to use Kiina to enter her realm, leaving the girl all alone.
"My…" Kiina looked up to see Kivala hanging from the ceiling, "You're just a magnet for bad men, aren't you? That annoying one who can turn into lots of things. Now the literal devil. Are badboys your type? Or do you find this just as annoying?" the tiny Kivat-bat floated down and was now face to face with Kiina.
"I blame being a Portal Master, or Mistress as the Skylanders have to correct due to Kaossandra's curse on the title, and that fact our magic can be used for so many things," Kiina shrugged, "Hmm…Still, not the first time I've been used in an attempted ritual. And he's used some runes I'm familiar with. Just some small alterations could cause a feedback loop draining the caster instead of the offering."
"You're a smart girl, but I suppose that's to be expected." Kivala spoke.
"Hugo may be terrified of sheep, but there's a reason why when he says you need to study, you study or else," Kiina shuddered, a faint haunted look in her eyes forming.
"Hmmm...Okay," Kivala smiled, floating closer, "I've decided I rather like you strange girl. You offer me something fun to witness, and the magic in your blood is sweet. So how about I make you an offer?" she landed on a nearby table, "I'll form a contract with you, and give you my power...in exchange, you take me out of this stuffy dimension, and once a month a little of your blood."
"A contract? Mmm...Well, I don't have the Book of Skylanders on hand at the moment, but sure. You seem quite nice and I know many of the girls would enjoy getting to know you," Kiina replied.
"While it seems like you've accepted, I should admit, my contract is different," Kivala spoke, "As I like you, I shall let you in on a secret, all Kivat-Bats once contracted may gift their contractor powers. You've seen my stupid brother do it enough times by now. I inherited some demonic powers from my Dad, but as long as I have your magic, it should be something far more manageable for you. It'll be your own magic in a sense, so unlike my Dad and stupid brother, you lucked out." she flew over, "But don't expect me to go out of my way for you all the time like my brother does for his contractor." she winked before floating down and releasing Kiina from her hostage bag, letting the girl stand up, "I'll warn you, this can feel a little trippy at first."
"Trippy? Hopefully, it's not as trippy as the first time I had some Dragon Scale Rum Spyro made from his own scales on my 21st birthday," Kiina noted.
"With luck, you'll get the hang of the rush in no time," Kivala explained, "You know what the goofus in Magenta and my brother's contractor say when they change into hero mode right?" she asked, getting a nod of confirmation, "Good, then we can get into characters! Hold out your finger for a second and I'll use my magic to upload the rest into your noggin."
"Oh, neat!" Kiina beamed as she offered it.
"Gabu~!" Kivala cheered while taking a little bite, Kiina's forehead glowing for a moment as-true to her word-the information needed was magically taught to her in an instant. White and purple markings like Wataru's before he transformed formed under Kiina's eyes, her hand moving and grabbing Kivala between her fingers.
"Henshin," Kiina stated.
A purple soundwave went off as Kiina was covered in the same silver material before it began to take on a new form. It then shattered off to reveal who had taken her place. A Kamen Rider in all white, purple formed down the center of her torso as it formed an overlapping pattern in the center of her torso, while silver batwing armor framing over her chest, and forming two collars around her shoulders, the armor forming along the sides of her hips like a coat tail or unfinished skirt. Her helmet was like Kiva's with large red eyes and purple markings along the sides. She looked at her purple gloves, noting while not armored like Kiva's they did sport small little claws at the tips of her fingers. She then blinked and looked at her legs, realizing she had heels. Kivala now in the center of a bright red belt around her waist.
"..." she looked at herself, "...Okay, just to be clear? I'm calling this a coat tail. Never a skirt."
"My, how willful, I like it~" Kivala cheered, "So have a name for yourself in this?"
"Mmm...Kiva...La."
"Eh?"
"What? Kiva-La, named for you," she stated.
"Aww~ Alright enough girl time. Let's save our currently collective butt, and slice our way out of here."
"Slice?"
"I'm too small to use Fustles like my Dad and brother, so I pulled out energy instead into making us a weapon. You can tell me you love me laters," she laughed as a mass of energy formed out and into a sword, it had a purple handle with a red gem at the bottom, the blade was single edged and pure white, with a white batwing hand guard, "Don't worry if you aren't a master of combat, I uploaded that into your noggin to, so you're welcome~"
"...Oh, I am in so much pain later when the swordsmen and swordswomen of the Skylanders learn I have a sword now," Kiva-La cringed before shaking her head and grasped the hilt, "Alright. Ready to go!"
"The faster we save the world the faster I get out of here, let's start with the creepy snake lady, oh I can't wait to see the look of panic on her face as we kick her ass."
"Where is everyone? ...It's as if everyone is wrecking the castle…" Medusa complained rounding the hall as the sounds of fighting continued to shake the building.
She then stopped as the wall was suddenly sliced up into pieces. It then slowly fell apart to reveal Kiva-La, who was in awe of how fast she just accomplished this feat.
"Told you we were fast," Kivala gloated.
"...Oh great...Another one!?" Medusa seethed.
Kiva-La nodded before pausing...and took a step back. Medusa raised a brow before yelping as a bullet made of pressurized air, a blast of flames, a giant fist made of water, and a lance covered in flames slammed into her. She looked over to see Spyro, Jet-Vac, Eruptor, and Grave Clobber at the end of the hall.
"Alright, we hit her first. So now we demand questions," Jet-Vac informed.
"Wait, I thought it was 'Ask first, attack later,'" Eruptor noted.
"No, it's 'Attack first, ask later,'" Spyro assured before spotting Kiva-La, "Hey~! Kivat didn't say there was a girl Kiva. Man, just imagine the Boss turning into her. That'd be..." he chuckled, "Oh the blackmail…"
"No wonder you get kidnapped so often. These guys are dumb as bricks…" Kivala sighed as the Skylanders looked at the belt, "Hello dumb-dumb's, I am Kivala, in other words...I'm doing your job...but better."
"Hi, guys," Kiva-La greeted.
"...Kiina!?" Eruptor gawked as Jet-Vac laid an egg in surprise.
"Did he just lay an egg?" Kivala asked.
"Sky Barons can lay eggs regardless of gender," Kiva-La explained.
"That has to be all levels of confusing for people meeting them for the first time," Kivala sighed, "But yes, this is our dear sweet Kiina. Now that I'm contracted to her, I give her the power to save herself, and conserve her magic. I'll just have to drain some magic out of you knuckleheads so I don't need to drain the one using me," the Skylanders stepped back, "Kidding~ I only drink rare blood...none of you look tasty at all."
"Hurtful…" Eruptor replied sarcastically.
"Hey, you're an elemental, not exactly able to drink your blood now, can I?"
"Touche little Bat lady...touche…"
Grave Clobber chuckled, "You look marvelous. Truly regal as is your standing in Skylands."
"Well I am royalty of my own, of course I'd lend it to my contractor. Also helps Kiina's magic blends well with my demon energy."
"It's a bit tingly, especially when I first changed," Kiva-La noted, "Honestly, unlike Mr. Kivat who feels like the Dark Element with hints of the Undead Elements...Kivala feels more like a Light Element with hints of the Undead Element."
"I like to think I'm the brighter sibling," Kivala cheered, "Thanks to our magic, you can use this form as long as you want. So long as I am awake, you could pass out and the armor would stay on as long as I'm not knocked out."
"Oh, that's neat," Kiva-La nodded, "...Ah! Everyone, we have a big problem. Very big problem. That big leader of theirs has a Kivat, too."
"I beg your pardon?"
"I think he called it 'ArcKivat' and it can turn him into his real form," Kiva-La noted, "Anyways, if he gets me, he's going to use me to merge Skylands with Earth and I think he's planning to do something to Mr. Wataru, so we need to keep them away from each other."
"Because of course something else happens," Eruptor groaned, "Whoever tempted Murphy is so getting their butt burned."
"Achoo!" D-Agito Storm sneezed as he struck Rey.
"ACHOO!" Night Shift sneezed, "Ugh...I swear someone is talking about me." he sniffed the air, "Blast, Kiina's scent's been muddled and I can't properly sniff it out…" his eyes narrowed, "But I can smell that one clear as day."
"Later! World to save! Kiina, lets go save Wataru-kun and my stupid brother!"
"Right! Skylands, off to battle!" Kiva-La declared, holding her new sword up.
"You know that Chop Chop's gonna have words with you later on that sword, right?" Eruptor asked...causing Kiva-La to slump and cry behind her mask.
"I know-ow-ow~" she replied, a hint of fear in her tone.
'What did I contract myself to?'Kivala thought with a sweatdrop as Kiva-La recovered.
"Since we're going to help then, I had an idea!" Kiva-La noted as she looked at Grave Clobber, "I think you'll like it, Grave Clobber."
"Hm?" the mummy raised a stone brow.
"Ha!" Kiva Basshaa cheered, shooting at Mummy and Gargoyle and making them stumble back.
"Doskoi!" Ixa of the past grunted, slamming the Dogga Hammer down and sending a surge of electricity along the water and electrocuting both Legendorga, making sparks fly as they stumbled back.
"Yosha! We've got them on the ropes, it seems!" Kivat cheered.
"Ikuze!" Ixa cheered, grunting to lift the hammer.
"Kivat, let's use DoGaBaKi!" Kiva spoke up, lifting all three of his fustles up.
"Okay!" Kivat declared.
"DoGaBaKi?" Past Ixa pondered, "Oh, that sounds like a set of vocal notes. Hmm...MAybe I should use that for a love song…"
"Please don't," Kivat deadpanned, Kiva trying to not look at Ixa at that comment.
"Chance," Mummy whispered before shooting several bandages at them, making Past Ixa move back along with Kiva...before the bandages grabbed the Fuestles in his hand and on his belt and shot back over to Mummy, "GOT 'EM! No more freaky weapons from you! I am tired of being set on fire, soaked, and then zapped in no particular order! Now Imma beat you both us, we are going to drag ya to our boss, and that is that!"
"Oi! Give those back!" Past Ixa complained, he then stopped when Kiva pulled back on his armor, keeping him from getting into the path of the Skylanders' attacks.
"We found her!" Spyro called.
"...Oh, leader is going to be mad," Gargoyle whispered as he and Mummy managed to get back up with Mummy patting at the flames still on his bandages.
"You did? Great…" Kiva began as Kiva-La walked over, "...Uh…"
"Kivala!?" Kivat gawked, "How the...what the...You are too young to be doing this, young lady! Making a suit of armor for someone to wear at your age..."
"Mr. Kivat is quite protective of you like Big Bro is to me," Kiva-La giggled.
"I know...he's such a pain…" Kivala groaned.
"Oh? The young magic lady is in the suit?" Past Ixa asked.
"Special Delivery," Kiva-La noted as she gave Kiva a night sky-colored Fuestle with the end of it resembling Grave Clobber's head, "I managed to borrow some magic from the castle itself to help make it."
"A Fuestle...but this is a sealing type…" Kiva noted as he took it into his hands, "Once I use it, I'll turn Grave Clobber into a totem to use."
"While Ramon and his two older companions had no choice, I humbly acquiesce to it," Grave Clobber informed, "Let us show these Legendorga the divine regal wrath of two rulers united."
"Okay." Kiva nodded, "Thank you Kiina-san." he turned to Kiva-La, "Ike!" he put the Fuestle in Kivat's mouth.
"Grave Clobber Seal!" At that, a deep organ tune came from the Fuestle as Grave Clobber began glowing before crossing his arms across his chest as he floated up, the energy shrinking him down into a small totem that resembled him, Kivat blew into the Feustel again as a tune mare familiar of an Egyptian Flute, "Grave Clobber Knuckles!"
At that, the Totem flew around Kiva before the head folded down and it split into two armored gauntlets. Both gauntlets latched to Kiva's arms as chains began forming along his arms and chest. The chains snapped to reveal armor that resemble Grave Clobber's wrappings with blue glowing lines going up his arm. His chest armor revealed to now be blue with hieroglyph markings along his abdomen and his chest was red with glowing blue likes streaking across it like flowing water. Kiva's eyes flashed a dark blue as he bashed his new guantlets together.
"Grrr…" he growled as he walked forward, he raised his arm and blocked Gargoyle's punch before swinging his own back and striking the Legendorga's chest making sparks fly. He swung his hand and backhanded Mummy making more sparks fly as he pressed on. He swung his arms striking both with punch after punch as they were pushed back. Kiva growled raising both arms up before slamming them down, suddenly two gator themed totems formed in front of him, with another growl he punched both hands forward and smacked the back of the totems making them spew streams of concentrated water which blasted both Legendorga and knocked them off their feet, sending them skidding back along the ground.
Gargoyle got up first and in panic tried to flee, only for Kiva to see this and the Rider swung his right leg and kicked one of the totems and sent it flying like a football as it crashed into Gargoyle knocking him out of the air. Mummy grunted only to grunt as Kiva landed a powerful Lariat to his neck knocking the Legendorga over and onto the ground again. Kiva growled swinging and backhanding Gargoyle across the face.
"Amazing…" Past Ixa awed, "It's like they are in perfect synch. Unlike the others where their monster instincts were too much for Wataru's kind heart...it's like this guy gets him."
"They both know what's at stake and both are natural protectors," Kiva-La noted, "Neither willing harm another unless there's an outside force or there is no other choice but to fight."
"Wataru…" Past Ixa spoke as he watched Kiva, "Yosh!" he shouted, making the others jump, "Tousan's not letting you fight alone!" he shouted, rushing forward and punching Gargoyle before Kiva could, "Wataru…" he spoke, getting his attention, "You're a real good kid, aren't you? At the very least...let your old man lift some weight off your shoulders!" he blocked Gargoyle's next punch, "What kind of father lets their son do all the work?!" he shouted, punching the Legendorga.
"MM!" Kiva grunted before punching Mummy.
"Jou-chan! Leave this much to us Kurenai men!" Past Ixa called out to Kiva-La, "Ike!" he unleashed a barrage of punches to Gargoyle's chest.
"Right," Kiva-La nodded, "Okay...Ideas on what to do?"
"We could figure out how to jam their connection to that eye on the moon," Jet-Vac suggested.
"Wait, wait, wait! That doesn't bend! That doesn't bend! That…"
*CRACK!*
"Now it does~!" Mummy squealed in a high-pitch voice.
"...Preferably away from this," Jet-Vac cringed.
"Imma go find the Boss so we can find their Boss and whup 'em," Spyro stated before flying off.
"Spyro, wait! We…" Kiva-La began before sighing, "...I really hope he remembers Skylands and his time as a Skylander soon…"
"Huh...I underestimate the lady," Kaitoh noted, watching the fight from a higher floor, "She actually made something that would work for a Rider. Still...not enough chaos to lure the head honcho out, it seems." he held up two cards and looked at them, "Maybe if I call out a familiar scent to him, he'll want to come out of his room." he slotted his card and held his DienDriver up, "Henshin!"
=KAMEN RIDE: DIEND!=
DiEnd held up the two cards before looking up at Past Ixa as he faced Gargoyle. He slotted both and pulled the lever out.
=KAMEN RIDE: SAGA! DARK KIVA!=
The bullet shot out and formed into the three images rushing around before coming together to reform into one man, he grunted and stumbled a step. He had brown hair a similar length to Wataru's, dressed in a white jacket and T-shirt with a chain necklace around his neck with a feather like pendent. He blinked and raised his hand revealing it was covered by a black glove.
"Since in this world you go by both titles…" DiEnd got the man's attention, "I thought I'd help your brother and bring you here. Nobori Taiga."
"Kamen Rider? How...I was still stuck in London…" Taiga spoke confused, "What is…" he then blinked and turned to see fighting as D-Agito and Ixa Rising kicked Rey through some bushes and into the area, "Nago?"
"Taiga?" Ixa Rising blinked.
"DiEnd…" D-Agito blinked, reverting to Decade.
"Tsukasa...I think your time would be better spent helping inside!" DiEnd laughed.
"A lot has happened while I was away…" Taiga spoke, "Wataru!" he panicked, "Is he okay?"
"He's fighting inside...with...help…" Ixa Rising muttered.
"Excuse me," DiEnd spoke, jumping over Taiga...and grabbing a Red and Black Kivat-Bat out of the air, "I need you to help...someone else."
"You have an unusual scent...and impressive reflexes to grab me," the Kivat-Bat noted.
"Kivat…" Taiga spoke up.
"Gomen...but I need him to lend his power to someone else," DiEnd spoke, "It's all a part of the master plan."
"You're a real pain in the ass…" Decade replied.
"Oh indeed I am." DiEnd cheered, "We'll leave Icy-Boy here for you two!" with that, the Cyan colored Rider jumped off into the mansion.
"Long story short: he's a Legendorga. We're at the castle of the boss of them all. And your future uncle-in-law through your half-brother's girl and Kivat caused a Causal Loop," Decade stated.
"I really should have taken the keys to that door…" Taiga sighed, "Sagarc!" he called out as a strange little white UFO-like device floated around, spinning around to reveal a set of snake-like eyes that were its face and revealing it to be another type of magical creature...that started speaking rapidly in an unusual language, "Yes, yes. I know it's been a while. ...Well that...Oh for the...Okay, okay. I'll treat you later as an apology for using Kivat-Bat the Second more than you lately."
After a long pause, the creature known as Sagarc spoke again while nodding. It flew around Taiga before landing on his waist, making a silver belt on his waist, revealing the top of its head to be blue with four white 'snakes' with red heads in two circles, each one trying to eat the tail of the other in their circle.
"It's good to have you back, old friend," Taiga smiled fondly as he pulled out a white handle with a blue section in what would be a crossguard section, and a red tip at the top, he plugged the top of the handle into a section on the right side of the buckle Sagarc formed, a click went off as the pattern in the center began spinning, Taiga's face was covered in blue markings as his eyes began glowing blue, "Henshin."
"HENSHIN!" Sagarc spoke in an understandable tongue as blue ripples went out, Taiga was covered in the same quicksilver as those who used the Kivat clan. However instead of morphing shape, the silver just shattered to reveal the Kamen Rider hidden beneath...as if this was Taiga's true form rather than a transformation.
The Rider was black and white in color, his suit pure black, with white chain like patterns coiling around his legs and arms. The white chest armor had a large stained glass like pattern of orange, yellow, blue and purple, with a collar of white armor framing his chest and looping around into a collar around his neck. The Black armor on his torso resembled muscles as the white shoulder armor looked like pieces of a castle's architecture molded into armor. His helmet was black with a white crown atop his forehead, with blue eyes, that were shaped like the fangs of a snake rather than the wings of a bat. This… was Kamen Rider Saga...King of the Fangires.
"Ō no hanketsu o iiwatasu. Shi da!" Saga declared.
"I leave this to you," Decade spoke to Ixa, "I need to save the world again." he ran off and jumped after DiEnd.
"Gh…" Rey growled pushing himself back up finally, "I won't lose to you, Nago-Kun!" he growled out once more as his rage was taking hold, his Legendorga changes taking greater hold over him.
"Nago...I shall go help Wataru. I assume this shall be easy for you?" Saga asked.
"Of course," Ixa Rising replied, "I have surpassed him greatly after all the battles I shared with you and Wataru."
"Hmm," Saga nodded before he ran off to find his brother.
Ixa Rising turned to Rey as the two raised up their weapons. The two charged as they passed one another, swinging claws and sword. A loud clang filled the air as they came to a stop, marks of ice along Ixa's armor...which began melting away into steam. Rey grunted, a glowing cut or rather deep mark melted into his side. Ixa growled as he spun around and slashed Rey again, making him cry in pain as sparks rained from the impact, another mark burned into his armor. Ixa continued on as he slammed his Ixariser into Rey's chest and began shooting point blank, sparks flying from Rey as he was sent tumbling back. Rey growled, getting up as he learned forward and began unleashing a blast of freezing air from his mask's mouthguard.
Ixa grunted as the blast struck him and began covering him in a layer of ice. Rey growled and rushed to swing with his claws only to stop as Ixa broke free. Ixa roared as he swung his sword and slashed Rey across his chest multiple times. Rey grunted and raised his claws to block the next swing, only for the Ixa Calibur to cut through the claws and slash him across his chest. Rey grunted, stumbling back, as Ixa lowered his arm down.
"Sayonara...Shiramine," Ixa spoke as he took the Feustel out of his Ixariser's handle and put it in his belt.
=RISE UP=
Ixa aimed his Ixariser as the barrel formed a projection of energy. The projection looked like a gear which spun around as large amounts of energy pooled into the barrel of the weapon. Ixa grunted and pulled the trigger, unleashing a huge blast of Solar energy. Rey grunted as the blast washed over him. The recoil sent Ixa flying backwards...only for the Rider to aim his leg back and bounce off a tree. He flipped through the air as he held up his Ixa Calibur, as the sword began glowing with energy as well.
"IXA BAKUKEN!" he shouted, slashing Rey with his sword, the energy cutting clear through his already heavily damaged armor.
"N-Nago-kun…" Rey groaned, falling over forward as Ixa continued walking forward. After a while Rey exploded in a giant pillar of fire, the battle finally won. But there was more to come.
"Aw man...I hate castles at times...I always get lost," Kiva-La groaned.
"So what do we do n…" Eruptor began before Jet-Vac hushed him, "...Did you j…?"
"Shh," Jet-Vac squashed quietly, "Listen."
The group fell silent. A strange noise was heard coming around the corner. Everyone tensed as they readied to attack before relaxing when Night Shift came around the corner, sniffing the air with his eyes closed.
"He's been here very recent…" the vampire noted before opening his eyes and spotted the group, "...Did the young man turn into a lady?"
"Night Shift, it's me," Kiva-La replied.
"Kiina? ...Ha! That little frost brat owes me a sack of gold and a gallon of wine when he's healed up!" Night Shift laughed, "I knew you'd end up wearing armor some time."
"You were betting on me?" Kiva-La asked.
"Er...I mean...Kiina, how wonderful to find you! I'm glad the others were able to find you. I myself have been on the trail of the leader of these beasts," Night Shift coughed into his boxing glove and trying to avoid looking at the new Rider.
"...Right…" Kiva-La narrowed her eyes under her mask.
"Ooh~You're in trouble~" Spyro teased.
"I feel like you aren't one to talk...I imagine you are the one who causes the most shenanigans," Kivala replied.
"Gh! N...no I don't…" Spyro denied.
"Uh huh...Sure you don't, purple gecko."
"G-gecko?! I am a Dragon. Dra-gon!"
"Can we please not argue?" Kiva-La sighed.
"She is correct. Focus that aggression upon that brat leading the Legendorga," Night Shift agreed as he sniffed the air, "Down this way."
"Brat?" Eruptor repeated.
"He may be thousands of years old, but I'm still older than him," Night Shift replied, "There are rarely many as old as me."
"Wow...and I thought my Dad was proud of being old as sin…" Kivala muttered.
"Age equals Power in Skylands," Kiva-La shrugged before pausing, "Oh!" she ran after Night Shift, "Night Shift, what do you know about the moon having an eye that's turning people in Legendorga servants?"
"?! They put that on the moon again?" Night Shift asked in worry, "When we fight him...we have to make him absorb what he put on the moon at all costs. You destroy him with that fused with him, it will cure everyone affected and stop them from becoming Legendorga as well."
"By chance what's your talent at sensing Demon King energy?" Kivala asked.
"What?" they all asked.
"Hah...yeah, I was afraid of that. My Dad and brother are so powerful because they have absorbed the powers of a Demon King, IE the Fangire king or royalty. A power like that can destroy the Earth, and that thing on the moon...has a lot of it."
"The young lady on your waist is correct. When I was a child, they used it on the moon in Skylands. Their leader absorbed it to battle the Portal Masters who banished them away from our home. That 'eye' is the majority of their power sealed up there to infect all who are not Legendorga to become their servants and, after enough time passes, turn those servants into more Legendorga," Night Shift frowned, "And when he absorbs it...well...I'm glad that what happened to we Skylanders exists."
"So...do we have a plan?" Spyro asked, taking all this information in.
"You'd need someone with a great deal of demonic energy or someone with the power to destroy anything and everything," Kivala spoke.
Everyone stopped as a wall was knocked down. Medusa was pushed through as Decade climbed out of the hole after just a second. He sighed and punched the Legendorga, making her stumble back. He pulled out his Ride Booker and slashed Medusa across her torso several times, making sparks fly. The Legendorga groaned, falling back, as Decade turned to face Kiva-La and the Skylanders.
"Finally...This place is impossible to navigate," Decade sighed.
"Hi, Kadoya," Kiva-La greeted.
"...We're talking about why you're a Kamen Rider later," Decade stated before he ducked back making Medusa's snakes miss, "For now, fight the end of the world!" he ordered, swapping to Gun mode as he began shooting the Legendorga.
"Right! Skylanders, to battle!" Kiva-La shouted, hefting up her sword.
"You know that Chop Chop is going to…"
"I know," Kiva-La gulped, but still quickly swung the blade and chopped a sneak head heading for her off its body.
"Spyro, I'm going to erupt. When I do, blast it with a gust of wind," Eruptor spoke.
"I can make big gusts of wind? Without eating a burrito?" Spyro asked.
"...Right, changing that. What do you remember doing?"
"Well, fire breath, indestructible scales, lightning breath, ice breath, manipulating rocks, and pretty much that," Spyro shrugged.
"...Okay. Then start spamming the lightning the moment she's distracted," Eruptor ordered as he moved to the side and stabbed a snake with his lance, incinerating it.
Jet-Vac took to the air and started swooping around the Medusa, shooting at her with several pressurized air bullets whenever she managed to dodge Decade's shots. Medusa growled only to blink as the shooting stopped. She turned around just as Kiva-La landed beside her and slashed her across her shoulder. The Lady Rider grunted as she spun around. With amazing balance and grace, she dodged all of Medusa's snakes as they tried to capture her, Kiva-La stopped and swung her saber and slashed the snakes, stopping them in their tracks. She flipped her sword around as Medusa prepared for the next attack, Kiva-La instead rolled out of the way as a wave of lightning blasted the Legendorga.
"Boy, that was a shocker, am I right?" Spyro joked before firing another blast of lightning at her, making her cry out and stumble back again.
"Lance…" Eruptor growled as his lance began to glow before he threw it at Medusa, striking her in the shoulder, "CANNON!"
"Gh! You…" Medusa growled as she reached for the lance before it exploded, making her scream as lava from the explosion got into her eyes, "GYAH!"
"Now!" Decade ordered, switching his book into its sword mode.
=FINAL ATTACK RIDE: D-D-DECADE!=
Decade thrust his sword out and into the cards, before the cards began to pull in and were absorbed into the blade of his Ride Booker. The Magenta energy flashed brightly, he then held it out towards Kiva-La. She blinked behind her mask before nodding as she raised her sword and crossed it with Decade's, the energy transferring between the two swords; one Magenta, the other purple. Both grunted and rushed forward before swinging their swords and cutting through Medusa, leaving a glowing X pattern in her torso. The two spun around and slashed again as the energy was fired from the tips of their swords as two crescent beams of energy collided with the Legendorga, causing her to explode brightly.
"Not bad for your first fight in armor," Jet-Vac noted.
"The battle is not yet over until the leader is dead after he absorbs that eye in the moon," Night Shift reminded.
"Good thing we have Boss here then!" Spyro beamed as he flew over to Decade, "Hey, Boss! We gotta get the leader of these guys to eat an eye on the moon before we blow him up."
"...Okay. That was a rare sentence. What did I miss while we were in the forest maze?" Decade asked.
"A lot," Kiva-La explained.
"Did you help the Rider of this world and help set things up to save the world?" he asked, getting a nod from his new Fellow Rider, "Then that just means I need to go save the day," he yawned while stretching his arms, "And then that's it, sound about right?"
"Sounds perfect! Though you forgot to add in taking some pics and a party before we vamoose, Boss," Spyro noted.
"Right you are, little dragon buddy," Decade pointed to Spyro.
"Great, fine. Now let's hurry," Night Shift spoke up as he sniffed the air and flew off down the corridor, "This way!"
"Yosha! Let's end this!" Kivat declared as Kiva presented his gauntlets to Kivat's mouth, letting him bite down on them and let them start to glow with a soft brown/blue energy, "Grave Bite!"
Kiva raised his fists up before bashing them together. The Mummy gulped as he started to turn to flee only to yelp as sand engulfed his lower legs, making a pair of sand-made hands that restrained him. Water swirled around Kiva's gauntlets before floating off them to make two massive fists of pressurized water. Kiva proceeded to unleash a barrage of punches upon the Mummy with the fists before opening his hands up. The hands copied him and Kiva proceeded to slam his open hands together. The water hands followed and the Mummy let out a watery scream before he exploded from the impact. Kiva snorted as the sand and water mixed into mud that grabbed the remains and dragged them under the ground. He glowed before his attachments split off him and reformed into Grave Clobber.
"Phew…" Kiva sighed, "My arms...are so tired…"
"One advantage of being a mummy...no sore muscles," Grave Clobber noted.
"Ah!" Proto Ixa cried as he was tossed over towards them, "Okay...punching doesn't work…" he groaned.
"I'm going to crush you!" Gargoyle growled rushing them, only to stop when a red whip struck his back making him cry in pain. The whip cracked several more times as it struck the Legendorga, making him cry out each time. The whip suddenly wrapped around his body as if moving like a snake. The whip moved up and began slamming him from side to side into the walls of the castle.
"That's…" Kiva spoke as he looked up to see Saga walking towards them, "Nii-san!"
"Your brother? Hmm...He has the proper walk and posture for his position," Grave Clobber noted with a nod.
"Wataru…" Saga spoke as he swung his hand and sent the whip cracking to the side, crashing Gargoyle through several stone columns.
"I didn't do anything!" Kiva quickly defended, hands up in the air.
"It was not my fault!"
"You were the one who went to the past with Karin's Tou-san," Kiva replied.
"...That Causal Loop was not me! It was him!"
"...Ah…" Saga sighed, "I'm telling his wife this is partly his fault later...and I'm sure she'll have harsher words for you two later." he spoke, making Kiva and Kivat jump in panic.
"The only thing more fearsome than a Royal Rage? A Mother's Rage," Grave Clobber cringed, patting Kiva's shoulder in an attempt to assure him things would be alright.
"...Wait. Did he say 'Nii-san?' I have two sons!" Ixa cheered.
"...Kivat!"
"I didn't do it! It was a dimension-travelling treasure hunter that can summon Kamen Riders with his card-shooting gun!" Kivat argued.
"That man then…" Saga sighed, "He brought me here from London," he explained before looking at Ixa, "Gomen...I am not your son...rather...I'm your Step-son." he explained, "You marry my mother at some point...and save me."
"Soka…" Ixa nodded simply, "Then I guess that's good enough for me. I have a weird big family...in the future."
"..." Gargoyle began to try to sneak away as Saga, his back to Gargoyle, held up a white Fuestle with a blue snake-like pattern on the top before putting it into Sagarc's mouth.
"Wake Up!" Sagarc declared.
Saga proceeded to stab the butt of his weapon into the side of Sagarc and pulled it out, letting a trail of red electricity to follow it, lightning up the blade of his weapon as the face of the belt spun around. A pulse of power came off Saga as the area turned to night. He calmly flicked his weapon at Gargoyle, his back still to the Legendorga, and the red part shot out and stabbed into Gargoyle. Above Saga, Kiva's symbol appeared in a blood red glow. He jumped into the air and through the symbol before landing in a crouch. The line retracted and the Gargoyle was hung in the air by the weapon impaled into him. Saga held up two fingers to the line before dragging them down to the hilt. Gargoyle screamed before he exploded violently, letting the whip return to Saga as night ended.
"...I softened him up," Ixa muttered, a little jealous of how easy Saga made it.
"Swift and decisive. A wise choice for the current crisis," Grave Clobber nodded.
"Another servant for you?" Saga asked.
"He's a friend who's just here to help before leaving," Kiva replied.
"You are strangely good at that," Saga chuckled.
"We need to get going," Grave Clobber noted as he looked at the ceiling, "We've dealt with that one's forces, meaning that what remains is more than likely just their leader."
"The faster we deal with him, the faster things go back to normal. My son gets back to his girlfriend, my Step-son gets back to whatever the hell he does all day, and I get to go home and live freely. …'Till I meet your mother that is."
"Yosha!" Kiva nodded, "...Wait. Girlfriend?"
"That Karin girl."
"Ack! W-We're just friends!"
"Wataru…" Saga spoke up, "You basically declared war on the Vampire and Fangire races to save her life…you even fought your own brother for her, while I am proud...it still hurts Nii-san's feelings," he taunted with a chuckle.
"You feel like a third wheel as well?" Kivat whispered to Grave Clobber, who simply nodded as he turned to find some stairs for them to ascend.
"Behind here," Night Shift noted as they stood before two large doors, "The scent is overwhelming."
"Oh good...he stinks...what a loser," Decade sighed, walking up as he pushed and opened the doors, revealing the Legendorga king sitting upon a throne much too large for his human host.
"I see...so my people were defeated," the king noted as if he were speaking of the weather.
"Your reign ends once and for all this day, Legendorga," Night Shift spoke, his glowing eyes narrowed as his boxing gloves turned gold, "You failed to control Skylands and you will fail to control this world. You will fall this very day. This I swear upon all those your kind have killed!"
"I admit...you surprise me," he spoke, "I never believed there was a human like this on earth." he looked at Decade.
"Guess I have a knack for pissing off the bad guy just with my presence," Decade noted as he walked forward.
"And I see that you escaped by making a contract with a Kivat-Bat, Portal Master."
"Mistress," the Skylanders all muttered.
"You weren't kidding on them being cursed to correct that," Kivala noted with wide eyes in surprise.
"So this is where we kill you," Decade blurted, "So...you gonna make this hard and go all monster on us…'cause I'm not opposed to killing a human…"
"You could be a little opposed…" Kiva-La muttered.
"Not even a little," Decade shook his head.
"I mean, we could put him in Traptanium and…"
"No, I agree with Decade on killing him," Night Shift stated, keeping his eyes focused solely on the Legendorga leader.
"Maybe you should just stop for now…" Kivala muttered with a sweatdrop.
"Right," Kiva-La nodded, a drop of sweat going down the back of her helmet.
"You are a cold one…" the King of the Legendorga noted, "You don't even...smell human."
"Maybe…" Decade spoke, "Truth be told, I don't know what I am...maybe I'm just a really human-looking alien...maybe I'm a demon who lost his horns and tail. All I know is stop you and save the world."
"You'd make an excellent Legendorga…"
"No thanks!" Decade spoke, suddenly shooting at him only for a Kivat-like bat to fly in and block each shot.
=That was quite devious of you= the mechanical Kivat-Bat noted, sounding like an old man.
"Oh...I think that's the one he was talking about when I was tied up," Kiva-La noted, her eyes widening behind her mask, "I can feel a lot of power in it. Far more than his body could handle after he uses it just like he said."
"It's a power a mortal body can't handle," Decade noted.
"Hai…" he smiled, "I will need to find a suitable new host if I wish to cancel my transformation…" he eyed Decade, "I think the girl brought...a suitable replacement for me."
"Only women are allowed to objectify me for my body," Decade spoke up quickly.
"Oh, I don't know, Boss. I mean, remember that guy back in Agito's time with the…" Spyro began before Decade's hand clamped down hard on his snout, shutting his mouth.
"We agreed to not talk about that one trip to the bar," Decade spoke quickly.
"What...happened?" Kiva-La asked slowly.
"I respect all people...but no means no…" Decade spoke.
"Since when?!" they all asked in regards to his 'respect all people' bit.
"This is almost entertaining…" The king smiled as the Kivat landed on his shoulder.
"Okay, enough distractions. We're here to end this, Legendorga King," Night Shift growled, banging his gloves together...before the doors slammed open behind them, "And...another distraction."
"We made it!" Proto-Ixa shouted.
"Right on time," the king smiled as Kiva walked forward, "Kiva…"
"Oi! It's another copycat robo-bat!" Kivat gawked upon seeing the robotic Kivat-Bay.
"There's a strong power within it," Grave Clobber noted.
"I've waited to see you, Kiva," the king spoke, "To get my revenge upon the successor to the Kiva Bloodline."
"Oi! He's my bloodline!" Proto-Ixa shouted.
"And his mother's bloodline," Spyro reminded.
"...I had a son with a woman who has a lot of issues…."
"Love is a strange thing…" Saga muttered.
'What is with all the commentary!?' Night Shift thought in annoyance.
'I get the feeling Night Shift is getting angry…' Kiva-La thought.
"Kiva's power...which destroyed me in the past…" the king spoke as his golden aura began to come off his body, "...will now be mine!"
"What?" Saga asked.
"Heh," he smirked, forming two spear heads of energy from his aura that he aimed at Proto-Ixa.
"Tousan!" Kiva spoke, running in front of him as they pierced Kiva, "Gh...ah…" he groaned as the energy began melding with him.
"Oh, that's not good!" Kiva-La tensed.
"Just like a Legendorga," Night Shift growled, "If they find a power of great interest, they make it their own by infusing it with their own energy. The only reason it never worked on the Portal Master that banished them was because the power of their last king was weaker than them."
"Wait, what!?" Proto-Ixa gasped before looking back at Kiva to see Kivat spark and get shot off his waist by a pulse of gold energy that came off him that led to Kivat hitting Night Shift and knocking him over.
"Guh! Ow…" Kivat groaned as Kiva lost his transformation, leaving Wataru grunting in pain as his glass-stain markings formed...only their 'glass' in them was black and purple.
"You bastard! What did you do to my son!?" Proto-Ixa snapped.
"As the Skylander said, he is now mine," the king replied as Wataru began to convulse.
Wataru grunted as his body started to transform before them. He grunted as his eyes began glowing red. His Fangire markings formed, becoming a bright rainbow multi-color before fading to red. With a final cry of pain his arms swung out before bursting into giant wings. The arms of his wings where gold, ending in blades at the end with red membranes. His body grew out as black and gold armor covered him. Two claws feet clicked against the ground as his neck extended, his face contorting before changing into the same metallic bio-armor as the rest of his body, sporting a silver jaw with a red crest atop his head. He looked like an odd fusion of a bat as he had fangs, but his jaw looked beaklike. His yellow eyes flashed before letting out a horrible screech which made everything flinch.
"With this...Kiva has been Baptised as a Legendorga," The King spoke as Kiva screeched at the others, swinging his wing and knocking everyone over.
"Wataru!" Saga called out only for Kiva to peck at him, knocking him over. Saga grunted, using his weapon to stop his brother from biting him, "Wataru! It's me...your brother!" he called out in a panicked tone.
A giant gold boxing glove with a skull on it slammed into Kiva in an uppercut, knocking him away with several dozen gold coins falling to the floor that made a trail from where he had been hit to where he had been sent to as Night Shift's enlarged fist shrunk down and retracted to him, "The power of the Legendorga is sealing his mind away. At the moment, he's under the complete control of their king." he grabbed Saga before he teleported away to the other side of the room, a long gash left in their spot from where Kiva's wing had sliced into the ground, "Whoo! That's a fast one. More than likely capable of reaching speeds of Mach 2 if he had the opportunity, but still a very painful blow from one of them just hitting you regardless of speed. Unfortunately for him...I've fought folks that move far quicker."
"That's good and all for you...But what about the rest of us?!" Kivala snapped as Kiva-La was knocked away with several sparks coming off her from where Kiva's talons had raked her.
"Here I come, ya big bat!" Spyro called as he charged...only for Kiva to swat him into the fireplace with a wing slap and out the other side...and then the wall behind that...and the wall following that, "...I'm okay! My scales can't break! ...But still owwww~"
Kiva lunged at Proto-Ixa next only for Grave Clobber to catch his lunge and struggle with the bat, "Young prince, get a hold of yourself!" he cried out as Kiva's talons raked across his chest before a wing slap sent him into the other Skylanders and then through a wall across the room, "GAH!"
"You're wasting your time," the king laughed, "Nothing of him is left. My Baptism is immutable. All that's left in there is a desire to defend me and kill anything in it's way."
"Gh…" Proto-Ixa spoke, "Wataru!" he called out, getting Kiva's attention, "Knock this off right now!" at that, Kiva slammed his head into Proto-Ixa, knocking him over, "Ah...teenage rebellion, is it…" he grunted, getting back up, "Don't worry...Tousan can take it…" he grunted as Kiva pecked at him, sending him flying back as his armor began sparking, "Don't think Tousan will...give up on you just 'cause...you pushed him a few times…" he grunted before raising his arm to stop Kiva's talons as he tried to claw at him, "I don't care what he says...you're still Wataru...you're my son...that means even if you hate me...if you reject me, I'm not gonna leave your side…"
"Wataru stop!" Saga called out, before swinging his weapon as a whip which he lassoed around Kiva's neck and pulled, bringing the Rider turned Beast back and falling on his back, "It's okay! I'm here! It's me! Your brother! I won't lose you again, Wataru!" he shouted, pulling back to keep him from getting up.
"Just stop...this is painful to watch...There is no longer a Wataru...only my pet," The King smirked as Kiva thrashed around trying to shake Saga off.
"I guess that's why you only increase your numbers by spreading like a virus…" Decade grunted, getting up.
"Hmm?"
"You don't understand the weird force driving those two men who couldn't be more different...to do the same stupid thing," Decade began, "Family, the bond of people who love one another, sometimes they fight, and sometimes they are a pain. But...the fact is even when those things happen, they still fight for you, believe in you, and come to your side at a moment's notice." he went on, "I guess you could never grasp that, the warmth of that simple thing we humans take for granted."
"Foolish…" the king spoke, "Such a thing is meaningless in the face of power…"
"Wataru!" Proto-Ixa shouted as he rushed and caught Kiva as he attempted to lunge at Kiva-La and the others, Kiva's beak cracking through his armor and making it spark, specks of red staining Ixa's armor and Kiva's beak, "Gah…" he grunted as his transformation canceled itself out of damage. However, Otoya just wrapped his arms around Kiva, "...Wataru...I won't let go…" he spoke simply, "Wataru...I don't mind giving up my life to you, my son." he grunted, "But right now, you're not Wataru...at the very least...just...just go back to being my son...the real Wataru if you're going to take my life!"
Kiva's eyes widened as he froze up. The blood on his face seemed to stir something in Kiva as his eyes began glowing white. The blood likewise glowing with him, the glow spreading across his entire body as he lowered his head and wrapped his wings around Otoya. The glow grew stronger, making the king move a hand over his face to block it out. As the light continued on, a tiny golden wyvern flew in.
"Byun-byun," the wyvern squeaked out before seeing Kivat on the floor, still dazed from the forceful ejection, "Kivat-san, what are you doing on the floor? ...Did Jirou make coffee from a scale from Castle Doran again?"
"Sh-shut up...I'm just...dizzy...oh no...Why are there two to three of you?" Kivat groaned as his eyes were spiraling around.
"I forgot about this," Night Shift whispered, keeping a boxing glove over his face.
"Huh?" Kiva-La looked at him.
"The 'Baptism' of a Legendorga is powerful, but the power that prevented the Portal Master that banished the Legendorga from Skylands from being 'baptised'...it was the one thing Legendorga can never truly understand no matter how powerful they are…" Night Shift smiled softly as the light began to die down, revealing Wataru hugging his father, "...is the power given through loving another."
"In short…" Decade spoke, "The one thing they can't account for...is an act of true love. Like a father willing to give his life for the son he just met today." he walked forward, "I suppose that no matter how silly it sounds...that's one power we have that we underestimate." he mused mostly to himself as his mind was trying to remember something.
"It can't be...The baptism of my race…" the king gasped.
Otoya chuckled, "Like this, it's almost like we're father and son."
"I mean...we are father and son…" Wataru chuckled sheepishly at that.
"Aw...That's so sweet," Kiva-La giggled before everyone tensed as the pulse of power that erupted near them, making them turn to see the king standing up from his throne, glaring at them.
"Kill...I'll kill you...with my own hands," the king stated.
The tiny gold wyvern slapped Kivat comically with a wing until Kivat pushed him off and flew up and over to Wataru, "Wataru, here's the real battle!"
"The good bat is correct," Night Shift agreed, narrowing his eyes as he entered a slugger-style boxing stance, "Your race comes to an end once and for all, Legendorga King!"
"...Henshin…" was all he said as his belt formed of his own power.
=Yay! Let's go! Doron Doron= ArcKivat cheered, flying around him before perching on the belt, causing them to lift into the air.
Everyone backed up as a large golden symbol formed in front of them before shattering and forming around until taking the form of an Evil Kamen Rider. His suit was all black with dark silver armor on his torso resembling a fanged mouth, with chains crossing his chest, hiding a red eye-like gem in the center. Golden piping formed along his arm ending in his golden armored hands with matching anklets as well. His helmet had large yellow eyes which blended into the two curved demonic horns atop his helmet, a silver strap formed along his chin forming a sort of lower jaw with a pure black mouthguard, and a blue gem in the center of his forehead. What stood out though...was how he was nearly three times taller then before. Even his Kivat grew to match his size!
"Alright, I'm back and-and-and HOLY CRAP! IT'S A GIANT!" Spyro gawked as he ran back in.
"You said it, byun-byun," the wyvern agreed with wide eyes as he landed on Spyro's head.
"This is...Arc…" Saga spoke.
"Time to fight agai…" Otoya began before holding up his knuckle...and saw it was broken with the push-in part sprung out of it, "...Oh, that's not good. Oh, that is very not good! I'm going to get scolded when I go back! And not in the fun way!"
"There's a…" Kiva-La began before Decade put a hand on her shoulder and shook his head no, to tell her not to go down that rabbit hole.
"Otou-san, stay back," Wataru warned.
"Oh, so this is what that one meant," a voice spoke, making them look to see the red and black Kivat fly in and around Otoya, "My son, did you mess with the Door of Time again?"
"...Maybe, Papa…" Kivat glanced away, sweating a little.
"He did, Papa! And caused a Causality Loop, too!"
"Kivala, you tattletail~!"
"Papa?" Otoya pondered.
"Ah, the children these days. Always being so reckless, don't you agree?" the red and black Kivat chuckled.
"Soka...You are the father to Wataru's partner…" Otoya realized.
"It took you that long?" Decade blinked behind his mask, "It's safe to say his mother didn't love you for your brain…"
"More than you know," the Kivat chuckled, "Care to work together with our kids?"
"Matte...he's just a human," Saga spoke.
"Don't worry...his body as is...can handle it," DiEnd spoke, getting everyone's attention.
"Oh, hello again," Kiva-La greeted.
"You…" Arc growled, glaring at the older Kivat.
"Hm? ...Ah, you're the one my own Papa spoke of, are you not?"
"Kivat," Wataru spoke.
"Yosha! Kivatte ikuze!" Kivat declared as he bit on Wataru's hand, "GABU!"
"This better not leave a mark on my hand. It's my proposal one," Otoya noted.
"Oh please. Your other hand was the one you proposed with," the red and black Kivat chuckled before biting on the offered hand, "Biting."
Marks formed on both Wataru and Otoya's faces as belts formed from chains around their waist. Otoya's belt was a dark red like the Kivat in his hands. The markings on Otoya's face were red, black and green, contrasting Wataru's gold and red marks.
"Henshin!" both called out as they slotted the Kivat's to their belts.
Wataru changed into his form, only Otoya turned into something drastically different. His armor was more ornate and royal. It was all dark red with a black chest plate themed after bat wings with green gems in the center. His eyes were green with little batwing decorations on the sides of his helmet framing his eyes. The Dark Kiva grunted as a green and black bolt of energy raced up his body.
"Even with this magic imbued body, it's still just a human one…" Kivat the 2nd spoke, "At best, once this battle is over, you will have burned through your energy tethering you to this timeline."
"That's fine with me," Dark Kiva grunted, "Since you know me...I guess I'll work with you again, Komori…"
"I prefer your style, and we both care for the same woman," he replied.
"Then let's settle this...Ikuse Wataru!" Dark Kiva shouted.
"Hai!" Kiva nodded.
"Gather all you want...you will fall to my power." Arc spoke stomping forward.
"Ha!" Kiva called out as he jumped first, only for Arc to slap him away and through a wall.
Dark Kiva growled and jumped at Arc. The two began punching at each other, causing a burst of energy, only for Arc to swing his other arm and grab Dark Kiva before slamming him into the ceiling. Saga and Decade shouted as they jumped and kicked Arc, sending him through the same wall as Kiva. The trio of riders chased after them, entering into a cave system hidden behind the castle. Kiva-La and Night Shift began to chase before stopping when they saw DiEnd walk towards the throne.
"Um...Aren't you coming?" Kiva-La asked.
"Nope. I'm busy," DiEnd replied as he looked over the throne, "Magic man, so magic seal...magic seal…"
"Looting? Really?" Night Shift deadpanned.
"What? I'm just callin' bids on his stuff first. We know they're gonna win," DiEnd replied before waving his hand behind the throne...before a seal on it glowed and caused the throne to move back to expose a staircase, "Yes. Secret tunnel!"
"...Is it just me...or does he remind you of Nightshade, too?" Night Shift asked.
"That's what I was thinking," Kiva-La agreed.
"Ha!" Kiva shouted as the armor on his leg opened. He jumped and aimed his kick at Arc...who met with a punch that sent Kiva flying back. Arc grunted as Saga and Decade slashed at his legs. He then turned as Dark Kiva kicked him across his face making him stumble a step.
"That worked!" Dark Kiva cheered before Arc's foot crashed into him and sent him through a boulder, "Me and my big mouth…"
"Tousan!" Kiva called out, before blinking as Arc swung his leg down in an axe kick that struck him, the impact sending sparks flying as Kiva was knocked over.
Arc then turned around as the gem on his forehead began glowing and he fired a blast of energy, making Saga and Decade jump out of the way as the cave was filled with explosions of smoke and dust.
"Come on…" Kivat grunted as he flapped his wings and pulled the dazed Kiva away by his belt in the confusion.
"You insolent pests! How dare you? How dare you all?!" Arc snarled.
"Easy enough," Decade replied, "We dare because we can."
"Just who are you!?"
"I'm just a passing through Kamen Rider. Remember that!" Decade replied before his RideBooker opened three cards shot out that he snatched in mid-air, glancing to see them fill out, "Oh, you're going to be mad with me...well...madder than before. Because unlike your forced transformation, mine actually works."
"I'm getting a bad feeling," Kivat muttered.
"This is gonna tickle a bit," Decade followed up as he tossed the card into his belt.
=FINAL FORM RIDE: KI-KI-KIVA!=
Kiva turned to Decade, confused, before the magenta Rider grabbed him by the top of his helmet and pointed him forward. He then slapped both hands to Kiva's back and slowly pulled them away. Suddenly, a larger version of Kivat formed on his back as Kiva, in shock, was lifted up and flipped around. Kiva's legs were turned into larger wings which floated down, forming a large Bow, as an arrow themed after Kiva's armored leg formed from the top.
"NANDATO!?" Dark Kiva shouted, "My son...he...he's a Diaclone?!"
"What...is...happening?" Saga asked.
"Kiva Arrow…" Decade muttered as he grabbed a handle and pulled back, energy forming the string for the bow as he aimed; he let go as an arrow of multicolored light like stained glass shot out and struck Arc, knocking him back and into a wall, "Hmm...Nice. I wonder if I can keep you like this long enough for one of Kiina's mutt comes back to have an archery contest."
"This is not comfortable for me!"Kivat argued from the bow.
"My leg feels all tingly...at least, I think it's my leg…" Kiva admitted.
"Fine, I'll finish this bit," Decade spoke, slotting another card.
=FINAL ATTACK RIDE: KI-KI-KIVA!=
With that, the 'arrow' was unsealed as it opened the Hells Gate like Kiva's leg armor. Its gems began glowing as he aimed at Arc.
"Decade Fang!" Decade spoke, pulling back on the bow as the string was larger and brighter energy this time, a powerful glow of multicolored light forming at the top.
He let go, firing a powerful blast which struck Arc's chest and sent him flying back and through the cave wall, and up into his castle, and then out through its ceiling. The giant flew through the air, the arrow exploding in the air as a rain of stained glass shards. Arc fell to the ground, leaving a giant crater.
Decade swung his arm and tossed the bow away, letting it turn into Kiva midair and let him fall flat on his back.
"Karin...Make the world stop spinning please~" Kiva groaned.
"I think...I'm going to...throw up…" Kivat groaned, his face green.
"Oh boy...you look horrible…" Tatsulot muttered, flying over him, "I don't know what will help. Maybe this camembert cheese I've been saving will help?"
"BLARGH!"
"Ew...It did not help."
"The shame…" Kivat the 2nd muttered.
"If I didn't know he had a girl already...I would feel a bigger shame as well," Dark Kiva agreed.
"Come on, he's not down yet!" Decade spoke, running off.
"Eh!?" Dark Kiva asked.
"Come on," Saga sighed as he picked up Kiva and ran off after Decade.
"See...it's all fine," Diend spoke as he kept walking, noticing the violent shaking from above, "Tsukasa must have used the Final Form Ride to turn Kiva into an arrow."
"I'm sorry, but he what now?" Kiva-La asked.
"Pfft...Oh, Onii-chan must have been freaked out," Kivala giggled.
"Yes, it's amusing hearing the reactions to the Final Form Ride cards." Diend laughed, "Now...onto treasure~" he clapped his hands as he found a room of literal treasures, "Pretty…" he mused, walking past the gold and gems, "But...not what I consider treasure...too simple." he walked over to a sealed box before shooting it open; he then reached in and pulled out a strange looking crystal.
"Eh? A crystal?" Kiva-La pondered.
"It's as I thought, when they left, they stole something useful!" Diend laughed, "Just what I wanted." he laughed before swinging his gun to the side and shooting it, forming a portal, "See you in the next world~" he waved as the portal swallowed him up before closing.
"Kiina...I think that was Traptanium," Night Shift noted.
"...ACK!" Kiva-La gawked, "Because of course they'd have that!"
"Ah well…" Night Shift shrugged...before he started to shove the treasure into his pockets.
"Night Shift!?" Kiva-La gawked.
"What? We steal the treasure from bad guys all the time," Night Shift argued, "And with how long this has been here, it's now ours to use as an emergency fund."
"I love this guy's logic," Kivala giggled.
"Ah man…" Kiva-La sighed as she began to walk to him…
*DING!*
...only to freeze as her foot had just kicked a gold plate that made a ringing sound, "...Oh no."
"Oh no?" Kivala asked before seeing Night Shift freeze as a thousand-eye stare formed on his face...before immediately boxing the entire area, "OH NO!"
"Okay! I feel that I'm missing out on something I'd be laughing about for weeks because of you!" Decade snapped as he shot at Arc who threw a tree at him before a fireball blew it apart.
"You're getting that feeling, too, boss?" Spyro asked as he flew down to land beside Decade, "I'm sure we can get it out of Kiina later. Most likely it's her we're gonna be having chuckles about."
"How is he not dead after that?!" Dark Kiva asked, rolling out of the way of another stomp of his giant boot.
"He's stronger then he looks," Saga spoke, swinging his whip and slicing another tree in half.
"Time for the big guns," Kivat noted as Kiva put a red Fuestle with a gold pipe organ design on the end into his mouth, "TATSULOT!"
"Byun-Byun!" Tatsulot cheered, the gold wyvern flying around Kiva, "Let's make this Dramatic!"
"Koi!" Kiva raised his left arm as the little Wyvern attached himself to his armor.
"HENSHIN!" Tatsulot declared.
Golden light flooded the forest as Arc grunted. The giant grabbed a boulder and tossed it, seemingly crushing Kiva. Dark Kiva nearly ran to the boulder if Saga hadn't held a hand up. Just as Arc began to laugh, the stone cracked as the golden light grew stronger. It finally shattered away to reveal Kiva was now Golden in color. His chest red like the Hells Gate, as his mask changed, his eyes red with a golden crest, making his mask look like the symbol of Kiva. His red capes fluttered around as he looked up at Arc. Kiva Emperor grunted as he jumped up and punched Arc making the giant stumble back from his full power being used now.
Kiva jumped and landed on a tree before leaping and striking Arc again. The giant grunted before flinching as Decade began shooting him.
"GH! Kono...power…" Arc grunted as he struggled to stand, "Kisama…!"
"Ooh! Nice duds," Dark Kiva complimented as he, Saga, and Kiva stood together, "Copying your old man, eh? ...Wait...Did I just call myself 'old'?!"
"You did," Kivat the 2nd chuckled.
"I really wish you were still around. I'm quite enjoying this," Saga admitted.
"Nii-san…" Kiva sighed as he grabbed Tatsulot's head while Dark Kiva and Saga put a Fuestle into the mouth of their partner with Dark Kiva pushing down twice on his lower jaw.
"Wake Up (Two/Fever)!" the serpent disc, bat, and wyvern shouted together.
"I'll hold him in place. You two end this with your combined power!" Saga spoke aiming his sword up into the air as red lightning shot up and formed the symbol of Kiva.
"Hai!" the Double Kiva's spoke crossing their arms as they focused their power into their legs.
"Ha!" Saga shouted, swinging down as he slammed the symbol into Arc, the giant grunting as the red rope of Saga's whip began binding his arms and legs to the symbol, before wrapping around his neck. Saga pulled on his weapon, tightening the bonds as Arc was shocked by the energy feedback from the whip and the symbol.
"Ikuze Wataru!" Dark Kiva shouted.
"Ike Tousan!" Kiva Emperor nodded.
With that, the two jumped high into the air. Energy formed around both their legs, Red for Kiva Emperor, and Green for Dark Kiva. They both flipped around in the air before aiming their legs forward and shooting at Arc. They shouted as the energy formed along the sides of their legs and into sharp bad wings, which extended out essentially forming into spear heads. Arc grunted as he looked up in time as the two Kiva's landed their Rider Kicks to his chest, causing a huge explosion of energy, which shattered the symbol behind him. He skidded back several meters, unaware of Decade humming to himself as he slid a card into the DecaDriver and closed it while aiming his gun at Arc with Spyro charging up a fireball in his mouth with electricity coating that.
=FINAL ATTACK RIDE: D-D-DECADE!=
"HA!" Decade shouted, pulling the trigger as he shot the bullet through the rows of cards that formed, turning one energy bullet into a massive irradiation of magenta energy.
"BOOYAH!" Spyro roared as he fired out the electrified fireball from his jaws that shot alongside the attack, letting both slam into Arc with a large explosion, "Whoo! Alright! We…" the smoke cleared to reveal Arc struggling to stay standing, "Aw come on! Every time!"
"Seriously...after all that?" Dark Kiva asked as he stumbled a bit.
"No, this is good," Saga noted as Arc looked up at the moon, "Remember what that elder said."
"Hah?" Dark Kiva pondered as Arc raised a hand to the moon, specifically the demonic eye on it.
"Give me the last bit of power of my race!" Arc screamed out as a dark aura came out of him and formed a gunmetal Fuestle with a siren on the end in ArcKivat's mouth that he blew.
=WAKE UP!= ArcKivat screamed.
Arc inhaled sharply and crossed his arms over his chest. He swung them out...and the chains over it snapped apart from the flex, exposing a gaping jaw behind the chains. The inside of the maw began to glow ominously...before a massive suction erupted from it. Decade grabbed Spyro by his tail while jabbing his sword into the ground as Saga was quick to copy him with the two Kiva grabbing Saga's shoulders. The area began to rumble as waterspouts formed and the castle started breaking apart...as the moon itself was pulled down towards the planet.
"AH! MAJORA'S MASK IS REAL!" Spyro freaked as the sky darkened as if turning to night.
"Shut up," Decade replied, forcing his jaw shut.
Arc floated up towards the moon. On its surface, the strange demonic eye blinked as its eye shined with the symbol of the Legendorga...before the suction ripped it out of the moon's surface with numerous tentacles attached to it. The eye was swallowed by the maw and Arc grunted as the power coursed through him. The Riders and one purple dragon watched as the tentacles slithered and swayed madly as they rearranged themselves. Two sections formed behind his back, forming skeletal hands of bony fingers before membranes formed between them turning them into massive bat-like wings as two hulking arms made of the tentacles were formed...before the opening made in them all erupted into hellish flames. ArcKivat's mask sparked before falling off, exposing the inner wirings and circuitry.
=Go to Hell!= it screeched out.
Spyro looked up at Arc with wide eyes before hissing out and grasping his head. For a brief moment, to Spyro...Arc had been replaced with another figure. A titanic purple dragon, its dark eyes blazing with unbridled fury. He was snapped out of it by Decade throwing him to the side just as a roaring Arc swooped at them and slammed his claws into Decade and Saga, knocking them away and shattering their armor.
"Remind me again...why did we...let him do...that?" Tsukasa groaned.
"Because...he just made it so that no more...can be made if...Arc is destroyed now," Taiga replied, grunting as he tried to get up.
"What you mean IF…?!" Tsukasa snapped.
Arc roared, "Hear me, Kiva! I am Legend Arc! And I come...for you!"
"Ulp," both Kivat gulped.
With that, Legend Arc swung his demonic arms out and fireballs rained down from his wings and open palms at the two. The Double Kiva's cried as explosions rocked the area, knocking them around with each shockwave even if they were not directly hit. Those that did blasted them around. Legend Arc swooped down, delivering a haymaker to the both of them and knocked them away from one another.
"And I start with you, elder!" Legend Arc declared before firing off a barrage solely at Dark Kiva, tearing up the ground and causing him to scream out as he was struck by shockwaves and at least one direct hit.
The explosions ended and the smoke faded to reveal fires encircling Dark Kiva...as he collapsed to his knees and then to his side with a groan. Legend Arc growled as his chest eye began to shine with a final attack before firing a massive fireball at Dark Kiva. Kiva got up and charged towards them, rapidly pulling on Tatsulot's head several times. He let out a scream as he made it to Dark Kiva and swung his arms out to let the fireball strike him instead. And yet...the attack wasn't exploding as Kiva held it. In a flash of light, the attack dispersed and Kiva in his bat-like state let loose a screech of rage at Legend Arc.
"Wataru!?" Dark Kiva asked, pushing himself up.
"He returned to that form of his own will?" Tsukasa realized as Spyro helped him sit up, "Kiva Flight Style…" he dubbed the form.
Flight Style looked over his shoulder to Dark Kiva, a gentle look in his eyes. He then turned to glare fiercely at Legend Arc and gave another screech before taking flight. Legend Arc let out a roar of his own as he swooped down at Kiva and the two collided in air, sparks falling from their sharpened wings/claws tearing at one another. The two delivered several strikes to one another before Legend Arc took off towards the city with Kiva giving chase with a screech.
"Eh? It's night already?" Karin blinked, looking outside the Boomer household before flinching as Kiva flew past at high speeds.
"What in tarnation!?" Camo exclaimed, looking away from the vine-bound controlled populace before slapping his tail on the ground and tying up a few more that tried to get close.
"Was that Onii-san?" Anju asked with wide eyes.
"An Emperor Bat," Calera noted before smirking, "My future son-in-law is quite surprising." Henry, bound and tied, gave several muffled notes before Calera bopped him with a paper fan, "Quiet, you. You're still in trouble for the Causality Loop you did."
"That's...Wataru-kun?" Karin asked as Kiva looped around and used his body as a spear to ram into Legend Arc slamming him through a building.
"And I think he's fighting the leader of the ones behind this," King Pen noted as he quickly froze several more controlled people up to their waist in ice.
"Whoo! Go get 'em, Kiva!" Tessa cheered before Wataru's friend tried to get his way in through the window, "Gah!" she smashed him on the head with a frying pan, knocking him out, "Ka-BLAM!"
"Wataru-kun…" Karin put her hands together simply.
Kiva looked down, his eyes widening seemingly spotting her. He screeched...and began shooting balls of fire from his jaw like a dragon at Legend Arc. The evil Rider crossed his arms to block it, only to be tackled by Kiva again. Kiva screeched only to realize he couldn't fly away. Legend Arc had used his normal arms to grab and hold Kiva in place. Legend Arc chuckled before shooting Kiva with a barrage of fireballs from his wings and then delivered a hammer blow with his extra arms, sending him down towards the ground. Kiva barely managed to correct himself and resume flight, this time being the one fleeing from the chaser as Legend Arc began to chase Kiva. As they flew, the three green jewels on Kiva's head began to glow as he let out a noise akin to a trumpet of sorts.
The two flew through the streets, avoiding buildings and taking sharp turns, as Kiva seemed to be going to a specific area. Legend Arc roared taking a turn, only to flinch as purple rockets of energy began blasting through the windows of a building. The wall began cracking before exploding as a large purple dragon's head burst out. Legend Arc stopped in mid-air only for a powerful and large ball of fire to crash into him, sending him flying back through the sky. The dragon roared before shooting out of the building, revealing its body to be encased within what appeared to be a medieval castle.
"?! M...Masaka!" Legend Arc exclaimed, "Castle Doran!"
Castle Doran roared, blasting more fire as Kiva flew around the giant dragon. Legend Arc swung his extra arms to shield himself once more only to scream as the heavy firepower of the castle-bound dragon tore them apart after several shots. He tried to fly away only to grunt as Kiva delivered several quick strikes with his claws and wings.
"Gah! Onore...Onore!" Legend Arc screamed at the two as a purple aura erupted off him, "I will drag you to hell with me if I must...KIVA!"
Kiva's eyes narrowed as the gems on his head lit up. He then flew around and flew up behind Castle Doran as both suddenly were enveloped in an aura of Fire. Kiva seemed to grow even larger as he lifted his legs and seemed to land on the Castle. For a moment, Castle Doran altered, appearing as a more imposing version of itself, before the fire seemed to burn away the imprisoned Dragon...and replaced it with a giant version of Kiva Emperor ignited ablaze with fire. Legend Arc's eyes widened under his mask just as the giant Kiva slammed his feet right into his eye chest. He screeched out in agony as Kiva forced ahead, going further and further up to the moon itself. In the distance, the moon appeared to be normal...before Kiva's symbol appeared on the surface with a muffled explosion just moments before the moon was forced back out into its normal orbit. Kiva Flight Form swooped down, did a flip, and Emperor Form went through the open window and landed before Karin.
Kiva sighed as he stumbled over and fell to his rear, "I...I don't think I should...do that again...Is it weird I have a craving for those dragon apples we feed to Castle Doran...yes? Oh dear...am I part dragon now, too?"
"Ah, the moon's going back into orbit," Anju noted.
"We did it! The moon's going back to normal!" Tatsulot cheered.
"We couldn't have done it without you, Tatchan!" Kivat chuckled as the 'night' went back to day.
"Yes, we did i...EEK! The sun's out and-and-and...why are you three not trying to hide?" Tatsulot asked the Maaka parents and elder brother.
"Moonscreen," Calera replied.
"There's something for that?" Tatsulot asked in surprise.
"Ah! We forgot the others!" Kiva panicked.
Kiva-La grunted as she, Grave Clobber, and Eruptor pushed a boulder away together.
"I swear, I did not think taking that last crown would make the castle collapse," Jet-Vak admitted.
"Oi!" Tsukasa called out, "You guys missed the show. Wataru turned into that Bat-dragon-bird thing again and kicked Arc's butt in a monster fight across the city skyline!"
"Aw, we did?" Kivala asked as she got off Kiva-La, letting her change back...and showing the tiny bat wearing a tiny tiara, "Well that sucks. I missed the last monster movie night, too, so I am severely in need of a good monster movie to laugh at the inaccuracies too."
"Oh, tell me about it. I swear if I hear another person go 'bleh-bleh-bleh' or 'I vant to suck your blood,' I'm going to ring a boxing ring bell myself!" Night Shift agreed.
"I think I know a movie with a Vampire protagonist that you'd just enjoy…" Tsukasa muttered, "He too complains about the same stereotypes…" he then blinked, "Wait...how do I know of any movies?"
"Because they're awesome," Spyro replied as he flew down before spotting the large sacks, "Hey, what's with the bags? Kiina found a collection of them?"
"Emergency fund," Jet-Vak replied.
"You stole the treasure, didn't you?" Tsukasa smiled as he looked at Kiina, "You did something devious and greedy…" his smile grew more smug, "Welcome to the dark side."
"Well, it wouldn't do good just sitting here…" Kiina sheepishly rubbed the back of her head.
"And I look gorgeous!" Kivala crooned.
"It's standard protocol," Jet-Vak shrugged.
"Oh, if this is standard protocol, I love it!" Spyro grinned.
"I still consider this my own personal win as well." Tsukasa laughed, "Well...world is saved." he mused, "Let's get out of here. New world to save and all that nonsense..."
"Right!" everyone agreed aside from Grave Clobber.
"..." the mummy looked around before reaching into the rubble and pulled out Ixa from the rubble, "Didn't get out in time?"
"Whoever made the castle collapse...owes me a button…" Ixa groaned.
"I guess this is goodbye…" Wataru spoke as they met outside the dimension hopping Boomer home.
"If I had to pick a world to stay on...this one is up there." Tsukasa spoke, "Still waiting to find that one world...where I can be crowned king...or a world where everything is free...yeah...that world sounds perfect."
"Aw…" Ramon whined, "And we just managed to convince them, too."
"It is fine, my Merman friend," Grave Clobber chuckled before pulling out a tome from his wraps, "Hugo assisted me with translating this to Japanese. A book of techniques those of the water can handle. Now if those two get into a brawl, you can make them soak their heads."
"...Is this karma?" Riki quietly asked Jirou.
"Don't ask me. I still think this was all a dream from my last coffee experiment with one of Castle Doran's scales," the wolf muttered.
"You really need to stop doing that…" Wataru muttered.
"So just sign here?" Kivat pondered, looking at the Book of Skylanders.
"Yep," Hugo replied as the bat dipped a wing tip into the offered ink and wrote his name in the book, causing the mural of him in it to glow as a tiny crescent moon appeared in the middle of Kivat's back, "The Dark Element just like Kiina said you'd be."
"This way, when it happens to her in the past, Wataru and I will be able to be summoned by Kiina's past self in the future," Kivat noted.
"That made no sense to me," Flynn admitted.
"Time travel never does. Not even to time travelers," Kivat admitted.
"Till next time your world almost falls apart...fellow Kamen Rider…" Tsukasa chuckled to Wataru.
"I hope next time...can just be us meeting as friends again," Wataru smiled.
"Please...no more end of the world nonsense…" Taiga shouted in the distance with Karin's family, "I have work to get back to!"
"Try not to make me work again…" Kivat the 2nd muttered, landing on Taiga's shoulder as Sagarc spoke something, "What do you mean dibs...it's a shoulder…?"
"Oh shoot! I nearly forgot," Kiina noted as she dug around in her robe's sleeve...before pulling out a large basket of baked goods, "I never gave you this for you saving me in your future and my past."
"Oh~" Ramon awed, drooling a little at some of the sweets.
"You're almost 200. Act your age, gaki," Jirou scoffed, rapping his fist on Ramon's noggin.
"But I am acting my age for my race!" he cried, holding the bump on his noggin.
"Ah...I really hope we can come back one day for a vacation," Kiina sighed as the group went back into the house.
"Hopefully next time...no army of enslaved humans that we have to tie up and incapacitate," Cynder noted.
"The pictures you took this time are quite amazing as well, Tsukasa," Hugo noted as he looked at the picture book he had been storing Tsukasa's photos in, the one he had taken this time showing Wataru playing his violin with a ghostly image of his father performing the same piece by his side as another of Wataru and Karin on the school roof surrounded by Kiva's various forms with his base and Emperor standing at Wataru's sides with the forms of Saga, the various Ixa, and Dark Kiva nearby seemingly watching at a protective distance.
"So how does this work?" Kivala questioned as she flew around and landed on the backdrop.
"Uh, who's the tiny little bat?" Flynn asked.
"New housemate," Tsukasa replied.
"Oh, I see," Flynn nodded as he tugged on the chain.
The backdrop began to fall before stopping halfway. Everyone blinked a few times as the light outside the windows seemed to be at odds. Flynn tugged on it again and nothing changed.
"Come on...oh, you stupid backdrop!" Flynn growled as he tugged constantly...before a knock came at the back door.
"Hm?" Tsukasa pondered.
"What's going on?" Kiina pondered as the two moved over to it.
"So...Has this happened before?" Kivala questioned.
"No. This is...pretty much new," Tessa noted, blinking a few times as Flynn was now trying to hang off the chain to have his full weight fighting it.
"Wow...either you're really light...or that chain is really strong," Spyro noted.
"Oh, that was so hilarious that I forgot to laugh," Flynn muttered.
"Alright, everyone make a chain and start pulling," Jet-Vak ordered.
"Or we can get Pop Fizz to make some oil," Spyro suggested.
"I'm not allowed to make oil after the last time I did," Pop Fizz admitted, his ears drooping in embarrassment.
"I think that island's still on fire," Eruptor noted as they made a chain of themselves with Spyro grabbing Flynn.
"Alrighty, and…" Kivala spoke, holding a wing up before swinging it down, "PULL!"
"AH!"
"I meant pull the chain, not his pants!" Kivala exclaimed, covering her eyes with her wings.
"Sorry not sorry," Spyro chuckled as a blushing Flynn pulled his pants back up.
"Let's try again," Jet-Vak deadpanned as they got back into position.
"Aaaand...PULL!" Kivala shouted, swinging a wing down at the same time Kiina and Tsukasa came back in from the backdoor.
With that, the chain was pulled and the backdrop fully fell. The new backdrop was of a vast desert littered in train tracks. Heading towards the lower corner of the backdrop was a sleek white train with black and red detailing. Above it was a crescent moon trying to 'devour' the sun surrounded by a purple starburst, a rainbow lightning bolt coming from a cloud, an apple, a diamond, a pink butterfly, and a pink balloon. Unseen by everyone else, the Book of Skylands flipped through itself before its blank pages filled in once more of a wolf of flames with a bazooka, a triceratops wielding a mace, a robot with a broadsword...and a red oni doing a strange pose atop a Rider themed after train tracks with a blue turtle, yellow sleeping bear, and a childish purple dragon.
"...Oh lord, what fresh hell are we in for now?" Tsukasa muttered as he looked at the backdrop.
"Ii jan...Ii jan...Ii jan...Sugee jan!" a Rider cheered as he charged at a group of Monsters, swinging his red sword while tearing through them, "Ikuze~!"
"Whoo~! Way to go, Ryuta!" a female voice beamed.
"Pinkie, not so loud…" another hissed out, "It's late and you and I are the only ones up right now!"
"Dashie's up too, Twi."
"Why are you just complimenting the brat?! It's me doing the work!"
"Oh...guess I am tired."
"...Pinkie, did you drink something funny again?"
"What? Me? Pshaw~! Nope~!"
"She's lying!" a blur shouted as it zipped by, hitting a few of the monsters as electric sparks came off them, "Saw her trying to drink a few cups of decaffeinated coffee."
"Dec-WHO GAVE HER COFFEE?!"
"...uh…."
"Dash…"
"...Oh look at that! Den-O's getting ready for the finisher!"
=FULL CHARGE=
"Hissatsu! Ore no hissatsu waza part 2!" the Rider declared as their sword shot out, connected by a beam of red energy as they swung around, hitting each of the monsters as they all exploded, bits of sand falling around the area, "Heh...nailed it in record time."
"Good...now we can go back to bed and rest up…" Twi sighed, "We have a day off tomorrow since the school is closed for preparations."
"So? I can stay up all night and p-zzzz!"
"And down goes the excitable pink goober..." the blur sighed as a third female figure landed next to the other two.
"Oi, what took ya?" the Rider questioned the third figure.
"What took me? Didn't you see me zip by?! I just got a few good blows in on those guys before you finished them off!"
"You shoulda been here a lot sooner for more blows, ya shrimp!"
*BAM!*
"WHO'RE YA CALLING A PINT-SIZED PEA IN A MOUNTAIN-SIZED POT OF SOUP?!"
"SHH! Not so loud!" Twi hissed, "Also I thought you had that under control!"
"Get her off! Get her off!" the Rider yelped as the third figure was gnawing on their leg, "My coolness is ruined once more!"
