Lately, I've been having troubling dreams. It's about a girl. She has beautiful long red straight hair and blue-grey eyes. Every time I see her she's crying and looks scared she sits at a corner of the room hugging her knees. When she sees she runs up to me and hugs me burying her face in my chest and crying. I hug her back and soothe her. She stops crying, after a minute or so a monster of some sort comes and attacks us. I reach of riptide and try to kill the monster but riptide the blade does not harm the monster not even a scratch. and then I wake up with a cold sweat. This happens a lot lately, sometimes (really rarely) I can see her not crying but happy and cheerful and smiling. We talked about random stuff. I loved talking to her even if it was in my dreams. She said her name was Daphne. Her voice was soft yet beautiful and whenever she smiled I felt my heart flutter. I could stare at her eyes for hours without getting bored. Whenever she caught me staring she would laugh as my face becomes bright red, her laughter was contagious and I couldn't help but laugh with her. I started to feel better because a few weeks ago Annabeth and I broke up (because she was bi) develop a crush on Daphne. once when I saw her she was in the same state crying looking scared and hugging her knees and bleeding….wait, what?. Oh gods she had a huge cut on her left arm starting from her wrist till her looked like someone had cut…I'm not going to talk about the wound. I ran to her and embraced her she buried her face in my chest and cried into it. I was frantically searching for some kind of bandage or something. Luckily I found a scarf. I pulled her from me by this time she stopped crying, I grabbed the scarf returned near her and started to bandage her left arm. While I was bandaging I heard a faint voice calling me but I didn't pay attention to it. After I finished bandaging her arm I asked her 'Daph, what happened?' now the voice was getting louder. She stared at the ground for a few seconds and said 'm-my mom she…' her voice trailed off and I could see tears forming in her eyes. Now the voice was louder calling my name, again I ignored the voice and asked 'did you mom do this?' she just nodded 'why?' was the only thing I could ask. She opened her mouth to speak but the voice calling my name got louder and I woke up staring at the ceiling of my cabin.
Percy! Percy! Percyyyy! I'm giving you a minute to open the door or else! To tell you the truth I was curious what the person would do if I wouldn't open the door but decided it would be good for me not to find out. I jumped out of bed and opened the door. Standing in front of me was grinning Leo Valdez. 'What d'you want? I asked 'I don't want anything but Chiron wants to see you and me in the big house a.s.a.p.' he said 'while walking inside and sitting on my bed. 'Tell him that I'll be there in about half an hour' I replied 'but he said it was IMPORTANT' Leo said. 'I don't care; I need a long hot shower and a really big breakfast before I start the day' I half-whined. 'Look, Jackson, I'll give 10 minutes to go to the bathroom, no longer' he said glaring at me. Who knew funny, joking and makes-everything-a-joke Leo Valdez could glare. If looks could kill I'd be dead by now. I ran to the bathroom took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, pulled on my clothes, and ran out. Leo was fiddling with some kind of thing, I didn't care and asked 'can we go?' he jumped when I spoke and turned to me and grinned 'who knew little Percy could get ready in less than 5 minutes' I glared at him and walked out of my cabin and called over my shoulder 'are you coming or what' he ran up to me and we walked to the dining pavilion.
After a rather short breakfast (Leo wouldn't let me get a third stack of pancakes) we went to the big house to see Chiron. We knocked and Chiron opened the door and motioned us to come in. once we were comfortable and seated Chiron started to talk 'my boys you have to go on a trip' 'you mean like a holiday?' I asked Chiron shook his head. 'No there is a demigod and she needs to be in camp now, she's 17'. 'No way am I going 'Leo said stubbornly. 'We'll go where does she live, and what is her name?' Chiron smiled at me and said 'Her name is Daphne, Daphne Williams' the name sounded familiar 'and she lives in L.A California' he finished and opened his laptop (made by Leo) clicked something and a picture of Daphne appeared. 'Wait do you mean THE California where Hollywood is?' Leo asked sounding hopeful. ' I know her, I've seen her in my dreams' I blurted out before I could stop myself. 'What kind of dreams' Leo asked wiggling his eyebrows. I ignored him. Chiron nodded 'Then I'll go, when can we leave?'. Leo asked 'You can leave now' Chiron. 'Chiron ...can Calypso also come?' Leo asked with a bit of hopefulness in his voice. Chiron nodded and said 'but promise you'll keep her safe' 'I promise' Leo said grinning then he went out to search for Calypso shouting at the top of his voice CALYPSO, CALYPSO, WHERE ARE YOU? WE'RE GOING ON A TRIP, CALYPSOOO…. I sighed and muttered to myself 'this is going to be a long trip' Chiron said to me 'good luck Percy' 'thanks I'll need it' I said and went to my cabin to pack. I packed some clothes, ambrosia, and nectar. I took the backpack and slung it around my shoulder and went to see my friends to say goodbye. Piper and Annabeth hugged me and made me promise that I would come back in one piece with the new camper, and Nico who hugged me and said that if I didn't come back he would raise me back from the dead just to kill me. I laughed at this and promised that I would come back. And Will who gave me lectures on eating properly and getting sleep and coming back safe. Then I saw Jason come up to me hug me and hug me when he pulled back I saw tears in his eyes. I wiped his tears and promised my bro that I would come back safely. He smiled and we hugged again and I heard the sound of a picture being taken. Will had taken a picture of us and stated that we had perfect bromance. And I couldn't help but smirk. Then I went to find Leo and Calypso and found them getting on Festus near Thalia's tree. I walked to them and when the saw me Calypso smiled and said 'Hello Percy' 'Hi' was my response. I got on at the back behind Calypso and we set off to our so-called 'trip'
