Erza was in the middle of a drone battle as she battled as Qwun in a desert area. She was keeping an eye open for her opponent. Qwun walked through the desert with him watching for an attack. Qwun suddenly felt a shift in the sand and jumped out of the way as a small explosion went off and her opponent using Blazier.
"Aw shoot. I thought I had her." Blazier said.
"Not even close. Tornado Tackle!" Qwun unleashed an attack and blasted Blazier with him getting knocked down. "Paral-Eyes!" Qwun launched a beam from his eyes and blasted Blazier and he ended up coded with Erza winning.

The Portcourt
Erza went back to the portcourt and met up with Lucy after her match.
"Nice win. You've been wracking up the wins, Erza." Lucy said.
"I suppose, but I'm just going with it." Erza said. "After all the battle I've had, I think I'm going to take a little break." Erza was going to just relax, but she heard some commotion going on. She looked and saw some chaotic players pick on someone with sandy brown hair with him dressed as a stereotypical nerd.
"Loser."
"Big loser." The poor boy was being picked on and he didn't appear to be handling it well. One even tripped him. It was like something you see in high school. Erza didn't really like where this was going.
"Lucy, do you know who that boy is?" Erza said.
"I think his name is Stewart. His screen name is Ste-War. Of course, he doesn't have much war." Lucy said. "He hasn't won a single battle since he got here."
"And people are making fun of him for that? That's not right." Erza said.
"They're just being jerks." Lucy said. "Stewart seems like a nice guy, but because he hasn't won a match, people will not get off his back." Erza felt really bad for him. There's no reason to mock someone just because they can't seem to win.
"I bet they wouldn't be saying those things if he actually did won a few battles." Erza said. "I think I'm going to help him. I'll challenge him to a match."
"What?" Lucy said and was able to put the pieces together real fast. "Erza, are you going to let him win?!"
...
Tirasis Drome (AN: Just realized I've been saying Drone instead Drome the whole time)
Erza sent out a challenge to Stewart and it seems he accepted. Of course, he seems pretty nervous about it, but it seems like Erza is going to let him win the battle. Erza heard her scanner and saw it was Lucy.
"Erza, are you sure this is a good idea? You're really going to throw the match?" Lucy said.
"Not exactly. It would be a dishonor to myself and Stewart." Erza said. "I don't like how Stewart is getting bullied like that. Something needs to be done. I'll battle him to see what the problem is, let him win a couple battles so he'll feel good about himself, and battle him for real."
"Well, okay." Lucy said as she understands why she's doing this. "I have checked his stats. He's great online, but when he comes to Chaotic, it's the complete opposite. Something must be wrong."
"I'll take care of it." Erza said and ended the call.
"Players, lock your decks." They locked in and Erza saw his team, thinking it was weird.
'Stewart placed creatures from every tribe, but they can't really help each other.' Erza thought. 'No wonder he's having trouble. Let's see how he does in an actual battle.'
"Because Perim Knight issued the challenge, Ste-War will have the first attack. Activate your location randomizer." Stewart seemed nervous, but he went through with it and spun it. "The first location...Storm Tunnel. Choose the attacking and target creatures please."
"Um...Asadab attacks...Ario?" They selected their creatures and became them. Erza was ready, but Stewart wasn't as much. The area changed and they were in a tunnel with fierce winds. Asadab was being blown around and tried to resist it. Ario was perfectly fine as he had a Torwegg to help him.

The Portcourt
Lucy watched the battle and hoped this battle works out where no one ends up getting hurt. Just as the battle started, Natsu and Zach showed up.
"Hey, Lucy." Natsu said as they had a seat.
"Where's Erza?" Zach asked.
"She's battling." Lucy said as they turned to the battle and it wasn't looking good for Asadab. "Erza might do well, but she says she's going to let this guy win a few battles."
"What?!" Natsu said as she and Zach were shocked she would do that.
"Why the heck would she do that? She should go for the win." Zach said.
"Why the heck would she just let this guy win? That's got to be the worst idea she's ever had." Natsu said.
"Well, unlike you two, apparently, Erza doesn't thinking winning is everything." Lucy said.
"It's not?" Both of them said. Lucy actually smacked herself in the face when those two said that.
...
The Battle
"Rip Tide!" Asadab launched water, but the wind blew the water away before it could even land a hit on Ario.
"Wind Slash!" Ario spun around and unleashed blades of wind with Asadab getting hit by those attacks and blown around. "Hurlicane!" Ario threw a twister at Asadab and blasted him with it and he ended up coded. Ario became Erza again, but she felt a little bad for him.
"You do know that air attacks are stronger in the Storm Tunnel, right? Water attacks are also weaker." Erza said. "I see that you also have Xaerv on your team. You could have attacked with him there since he lives there."
"Of course. I knew that, but I froze...with everyone watching." Stewart said. "How stupid am I to make a mistake like that...in front of everyone." When he said that, Erza was able to figure out what the problem is in just one battle. Before she could do anything, she heard her scanner go off again.
"Erza, what's this about you letting him win?!" Natsu said on her scanner.
"Erza, this is a bad idea." Zach said.
"Guys, I have to do this." Erza said. "I think I already know his problem. He suffers from anxiety."
"Anxiety?" Lucy questioned.
"It looks like he gets all nervous since he knows people are watching." Erza said. "I can't do anything about that, but I think he just needs a confidence boost. I just need to let him win a couple matches."
"Erza, no. Just go for the win." Natsu said.
"It's not going to do any harm." Erza said and ended the talk. She went and selected the next location.
"The next location...Mipedim Oasis."
'Stewart has a mipedian on his team. This could help him.' Erza thought. "Uro attacks Siado." They both became mipedians and were transported to the oasis. Siado roamed around the place and tried to find Uro, but Uro already found him. 'He's so tense that he can't become invisible. So I need to let him see me.'
"I've got you, Siado!" Uro said as he came out of hiding. He just stood there and waited for him to attack first.
"Cyclone Slam!" Siado unleashed a twister, but it completely missed. Uro didn't even move to dodge it. It was out of control and came back to Siado with him getting coded himself.
...
The Portcourt
"Okay, how does that even happen?" Zach said as they thought that was too dumb to really happen.
"This guy's a disaster. Erza is just wasting time. She should just take him out." Natsu said.
"What is with you two? Erza is trying to do something nice." Lucy said as she had it with both of them. "How is this a bad thing?"
"It's disgraceful. She should go for the win." Natsu said.
"Besides, what if the guy does win, but he finds out Erza let him win. It could make things worse." Zach said. "The poor kid has issues and Erza will just end up insulting him and disgracing herself."
...
The Drome
'This might not be as easy as I thought.' Erza thought as she could see Stewart has some problems. 'I've got to keep trying. He just needs a few wins.' Erza wasn't going to give up yet. She's just got to hope for the best.
"Ekuud attacks Uro." Stewart tried, but he ended up falling in the pools at Skeletal Springs.
"Malvadine attacks Xaerv!" Xaerv blasted up where Malvadine was above him, but he caused a rock slide and still got coded.
"Dubin attacks Malvadine." Dubin was about to attack, but he ended up falling out of tall tree and still got coded. He codes himself more than his opponents and that's a problem as well. His last creature as Tangath Toborn. It was him vs. Ario in Gloomuck Swamp and it still looked bad with how clumsy he was as he tripped and fell in the mud.
"Oh man. He even makes Tangath Toborn look bad." Ario said. Ario jumped down and was faced with Tangath Toborn. "I have you now."
"Uh...Viperlash!" Tangath looked away as he unleash snakes at him. Ario was careful and made sure he got hit as the snakes attacked and knocked him into a tree. Tangath looked and couldn't believe it. "I... I did it! I really hit her!" Ario tried getting back up. "Poison Sphere!" Ario ended up trapped in a sphere of poison with him getting coded.
"I can't believe it!" Stewart said when he changed back and was real joyful. "I really won!
'Yes. It worked. A couple more wins and I'll finish this.' Erza thought.
"Tangath Toborn attacks Malvadine!" Malvadine ended up getting coded as he got blasted by fire.
"Uro attacks Tangath Toborn!" Uro tried running, but got coded from that battle as well.
"I can't believe it! I'm actually winning battles!" Stewart said.
"Yeah. I bet you're feeling good about yourself now." Erza said.
"I sure am!" Stewart said. "I was worried my earth attack wasn't going to hit you, but it did."
"Yeah. It sure didn't look like it, but I moved to the side and..." Erza just realized she was about to say something she shouldn't but Stewart heard it.
"What?" Stewart said, but Erza didn't answer. "Hold on. You haven't your invisibility or your battlegear." Stewart realized what was going on and was shocked. "You've been letting me win!" He didn't sound happy and Erza just gave a nervous smile. "You have! So my wins are fake!"
"I was only trying to help you." Erza said.
"You helped in making me look more pitiful than I usually am." Stewart said. "That's it! I am sick of all the teasing. No one will once I beat you! You better battle me serious, Erza, unless you're the real loser that needs favors. I bet that's the only reason you won your battles."
"What?!" Erza said as she was now the one offended and angry. "You want me to play serious?! You got it!"
...
The Portcourt
"Finally, she's getting serious." Natsu said.
"Yeah, but this could get ugly." Zach said. The next battle started and it was Tangath Toborn vs. Sobtjek in Underworld City. Sobtjek tried using his liquilizer against him, but Tangath Toborn was fast and hard to hit. Tangath used Mega Roar and blasted Sobtjek with it, but Sobtjek blasted him away with water.
"Erza looks like she's really struggling." Lucy said.
"Yeah... Stewart's not bad when he's serious." Zach said.
"Look! She's using Tiaane's ability. She's sacrificing him to deal damage." Lucy said.
...
The Battle
A ghost of Tiaane appeared in front of Tangath. Then, it exploded and dealt some damage as Tangath was knocked against the ground.
"One more attack should do it." Sobtjek said as he was about to finish this, but Tangath acted faster as he blasted Sobtjek and part of his body turned to stone and left him trapped.
"Song of Embernova!" Tangath Toborn played mugic and a ray of light came down with Sobtjek getting caught in it and he ended up getting coded. Stewart returned to normal and it was down to just one last battle.
"Bet you wish you didn't give up Tiaane now." Stewart said.
"I still have one creature left." Erza said and was set to end this.
"The next location...Ravanaugh Ridge."
"Xelfe attacks Tangath Toborn!" They became their final creatures and entered the location. Tangath Toborn wondered around and looked for Xelfe, but Xelfe was invisible and was getting ready for his own attack. Xelfe jumped off a ridge and was going to attack him, but Tangath saw him coming and turned to him.
"Thunder Shout!" Tangath unleashed a powerful sonic attack and blasted Xelfe out of the air. Xelfe might have been knocked down, but he still has a few tricks.
"Anthem of Stone! Grant me earth power!" Xelfe played mugic and the mugic allowed him to have earth abilities. It also helped that he had a Vlaric Shard ready. "Earth Pulse!" Xelfe used a pulse attack of stone and blasted Tangath with it. He also used Granite Balls and blasted that lion with it.
"Nice try, but I have one other trick." Tangath said as he pulled out his battlegear.
"A mugician's lyre?!" Xelfe said.
"Song of Resurgence!" Tangath used his battlegear and mugic was played as it healed his energy. "Power Pulse!" He used that energy attack and blasted Xelfe as he was smashed against a wall. "It's over, Erza."
"Not yet. Xelfe can still use mugic." Xelfe said. "Chorus of Cothica!" That was the first mugic played. "Now I can use mugic form any tribe. Swarm Song!" Mugic was played again and it called for a swarm that attacked Tangath Toborn. "Sunder Ground!" He slammed his hands against the ground and tore it open with Tangath falling in and ended up getting coded.
...
The Portcourt
Erza may have won the match, but she feels like she didn't really win. She was only trying to help, but it might have backfired on her.
"We tried to tell you. You should have just gone for the code." Natsu said.
"I knew it was a bad idea. You shouldn't let people win because it has them question their skills." Zach said. Erza thought she did help, but it might not have turned out the way she thought.
"Erza?" She looked up and saw Stewart.
"Stewart! Listen, I'm sorry. I heard those people teasing you and I was only trying to help." Erza said. "I still shouldn't have let you win since it was insulting."
"Actually, I wanted to say thank you." Stewart said. "I've got another match. Some people are giving me respect after the match we had. Bye." Stewart left and Erza was feeling a lot better.
"Despite what these two think, you did a good thing, Erza. Stewart's more confident in himself now." Lucy said.
"Yeah. I do it again...for Zach and Natsu. If you ask me, you two seem like you need it." Erza said.
"Hey!" Both of them said. Sometimes it's nice to let others win, sometimes it's not. the only way to know for sure is to use your better judgement.
