We walk to the borders of camp and I see a slick black limo, I am the gentleman and open the door for her and get in after her. When I get in next to her, I felt her tense 'Daphne is there anything wrong?' I ask 'Z-zombie' she replied still tense 'that's Nico's personal chauffeur Jules – Albert and yes he's a zombie he's nice' I reply she just nods and turns her head to the window and I motion Jules- Albert to start the limo. He drove us to a place, it was a hill and it had an amazing view of the city I love this place so I decided to take her there.
It was beautiful, I set up a picnic and some Hecate kids did some magic so there were candles floating above us, now I had to ask the important thing 'Do you like it?'
'Like it? I love it! You did all of this?'
'Oh . . . it was nothing'
We spent the rest of the evening talking, eating, laughing and staring at the sky, in general, we were having fun. We were sitting so close that if we turned our faces our noses would be touching, at some time I leaned forward our lips merely inches away she decided close the gap, our noses were brushing then... My phone rang. Way to ruin the moment. I picked up the phone and it was Jason and before I could get a word in he started talking 'yeah, yeah I know you're on a date but this is important, Chiron wants the two of you to come to camp A.S.A.P when you reach camp come to the big house, see you there' and then he hung up 'what's wrong?' Daphne asked 'we have to go to camp something important' I grabbed her hand and we walked to where Jules-Albert was with the limo, we quickly climbed into the limo and set off to camp.
When we reached the borders we swiftly walked to the big house where we were let in before we could even knock. Inside there was Piper, Annabeth, Jason, Nico, Will, and Chiron. Chiron started speaking 'good you're all here, my friend Albus he's asked me to send six demigods to England to protect one of his students'
'Why do we have to protect one of his students?
'Because there are wizards and witches in England, and there's a school called Hogwarts in Scotland, there's a powerful wizard called Voldemort who wants to take over England and to kill the wizards and witches who are born with mortal parents and with one magical parent and the other a mortal. There's only one person who can stop him a boy called Harry Potter, Voldemort killed Harry's parents when Harry was one and then he went to kill Harry but couldn't because of his mother's love. You see Harry couldn't die because his mother died to save him and that protected Harry from the killing curse Voldemort cast on him because Harry survived the killing curse he destroyed Voldemort. Now Voldemort is back and wants to kill Harry Potter and you've got to protect him.' Chiron explained
'So... .who all have to go?' I ask
'For that, I have called the oracle, Rachel'
As if on cue, someone knocked on the door it was Rachel Chiron asked her who all should go to Hogwarts and she went prophecy mode. She spoke in a hollow voice;
Six demigods shall protect the boy,
the sea, the sky, the rose
the death and the sun
, the last not Greek, but a Roman one
the sky shall find his other half
and the roman shall fix a broken heart
the past shall reveal, and together they will survive
Then she went back to normal and collapsed but luckily Jason caught her before she could fall, 'Okay, so the sea is Percy, the sky is Jason, the death Nico and the sun Will but the rose? Annabeth was confused 'Daphne . . . you know because when she was claimed there was a rose instead of the usual dove' Will chirped in 'So do you accept?' Chiron asked 'I'm in' Daphne announced 'Then I'm in too' I said 'We're in' Nico and Will said and then all of us turned to Jason who held his chin high and said 'I'm in' 'But. . . who's the roman demigod?' Daph asked 'Hazel? Frank?' Piper questioned 'Reyna well I guess her because the last line of the prophecy said 'and the roman shall fix a broken heart' Nico supposed. Upon hearing this Chiron quickly Iris-Messaged Reyna, who was arguing to Octavian about something but then turned her attention to us on seeing the IM.
We talked to her about the . . . quest? The request from the person named Albus and she agreed instantly and said that she would set out to Camp Half-Blood as soon as she could, and then Chiron dismissed us saying that he wanted to contact Albus. The others went to pack, but Daphne and I stayed behind 'Look, I'm sorry-' 'its fine Percy, it was the best date I'd been to, thank you' she grinned and planted a kiss on my cheek murmuring 'I'll see you tomorrow, and good night' and then walked towards the Aphrodite cabin while I just stood there shocked but then decided to go to my cabin instead of getting caught by the cleaning harpies.
I woke up to someone again knocking on my door, man can't a guy sleep? Grumbling to myself I got out of bed and went to answer the door. Jason was standing there with a serious expression and I wanted oh so badly to laugh at his expression but controlled myself 'Yes?' I asked
'Get ready, the goddess Hecate is personally coming to teach us magic'
'Oh'
'And the person-I mean Albus is coming to pick us up tomorrow'
'Okay . . . I'll see you there bro'
After breakfast, we went to the big house and there were the rest of the demigods going to England including Reyna and Hecate who looked cheerful for some reason. 'Welcome demigods, I will be teaching you standard magic for the fifth year students of Hogwarts, now gather around me we will get your wands' we were confused but complied. She flashed all of us to an alley where there were people in cloaks and pointy hats, she then led us to a shop called 'Ollivander's' the shop looked really old, inside the shop there were stacks and stacks of boxes and an old man appeared from a room made from these boxes 'Good morning Garrick' Hecate greeted him 'Lady Hecate' he greeted back 'and who might these children be?' he asked her noticing us 'They are new students transferring from Ilvermorny to Hogwarts and apparently they need wands 'yes, yes, of course, you there' he pointed to Reyna 'show your wand hand please' 'wand hand?' Reyna asked confused 'which do you write with?' Ollivander asked 'Right' Reyna replied and he instantly picked her right hand and measured it mumbling to himself, he then went inside and brought several boxes and placed it on his desk took one of the box, opened it and gave it to Reyna 'Try this, Larch 14 ¾ inches' Reyna picked it up 'Now try waving it' Ollivander suggested and she did what he asked and a red spark of light flew from the wand and knocked out a few boxes, and I felt someone grab my hand I turned and saw Daphne staring at Reyna with a shocked expression clutching my hand, 'Okay, not the one, try this one English oak 11 inches, unicorn hair, not flexible ' Ollivander said took the wand out of Reyna's hand and gave her another one she waved it and came put white light and Ollivander exclaimed 'Great choice, you there show your wand hand' pointing to Nico, Nico glared at him but lifted his left hand and Ollivander again took measures mumbling to himself, went inside and brought a few more boxes gave one to Nico and said 'Ebony 9 inches unicorn hair, flexible, try waving it' Nico did as he said and the wand produced red light and Ollivander exclaimed 'Great choice' and it continued to the rest of us; Blackthorn 12 inches, dragon heartstring slightly flexible for Jason, Aspen 11 ½ inches, unicorn hair not flexible for Will and now it's Daphne's turn, Olli (let's call him that) gave her a few wands and nothing worked he then went inside and gave her a wand and said 'An unusual wand , an Acacia wand 10 ¾ inches, phoenix feather, a bit flexible ' she waved it and beautiful coral color appeared and danced around her and faded Are you related to the Harry Potter by any chance?' Olli asked and Daphne shook her head 'Unusual, unusual indeed' Olli muttered, and at last, it was my turn, I lifted my right hand he measured it went inside came with a few boxes gave me one 'Ivory 13 inches, unicorn hair flexible, now wave it' I did as he said and a yellow light burst from the wand and Olli took the wand from my hand and said 'Beech 10 inches' and without him telling me to wave it I waved it and a red light blasted from the wand, Olli then took the wand from my hand and gave me a wand saying 'Ash 14 inches, dragon heartstring, slightly flexible' and I waved it and instantly felt the familiarity of the ocean and a beautiful sea blue light burst from the wand. Finally, we were done Hecate paid for the wands and flashed back to camp.
'So first I will teach you how to do a Wingardiam Lieviosa it is a charm, it's easy for a first year' Hecate started and we spent the rest of the day learning loads of other crap like this, then came a charm called the Patronus charm where we had to focus on a happy memory and an animal which we were close to would come and protect us, so I tried it thinking about Mom and Paul a silvery mist appeared but then it disappeared so I thought of another stronger and happier memory; my date with Daphne this time a magnificent horse appeared danced around and then disappeared, then Daphne tried it I don't know what she was thinking of but a fierce dragon rose from her wand it flew around her circling her twice and then disappeared, everyone was gaping at her well everyone except Hecate who seemed amused, but then she asked everyone to practice the patronus charm, and by the end of the day everyone could produce a patronus; Jason's an owl, Nico's something called a thestral, Reyna's a Lion and Will's an eagle.
Hecate said we were ready to face the world, whatever that meant. After dinner we went to our cabin's to pack, I actually didn't know what we had to pack so I packed regular stuff; Ambrosia, Nectar, Clothes, more clothes, shoes, and some other stuff. While lying in bed I was thinking of the Harry kid, was he full of pride? Would he boast? Or would he be a normal kid? Let's go with the last one
because the other two didn't sound that nice. Then my mind slowly drifted off to Daph, her red hair with dark roots, her blue-grey eyes, her sweet smile, her bubbly laugh. And slowly, I fell into a blissful sleep, with no nightmares.
