Chaotic wasn't just a place for you to become your favorite creatures. You could become any creature you want that's in your scanner. You can even get new scans from other people and that's just what's going on. Lucy and Zach were in the middle of trading.

"Come on, Lucy. That mugic scan of yours for these three underworlders." Zach said. "I've got spare scans of them. I can do without them."

"No way." Lucy said.

"Why not? You've got a drome match later today against that Mitch. Maybe these three underworlders can help you." Zach said.

"I'm not trading for underworlders. You can forget it. They are the worst." Lucy said.

"Say what?!" Zach said as he was shocked to hear that. "How could you say that? I thought you didn't mind them. Besides, Natsu's your best friend and he favors underworlders. Don't tell me it's because you favor overworlders."

"That's fine with Natsu, but I don't want them in my deck." Lucy said. "Usually, I wouldn't have mind. What changed my mind was what happened at Castle Pillar and with Van Bloot. We nearly got crushed, I ended up getting hurt by Van Bloot. If it weren't for Igneel healing me, I would be in a chaotic hospital. They didn't care about us at all and they were all vicious."

"So?" Zach said. "Not all underworlders are like that. There's a bunch of creatures from all the tribes that don't like us. Not all creatures are the same. There are some good and some that are bad. Just like with humans."

"Well, I haven't met any good underworlders." Lucy said.

"Is that so? In that case, I know a creature you should meet. He's an underworlder, a little mischievous, but a good creature." Zach said. "Get your scanner ready. I'm taking you to meet him."

"Zach, my match will be starting soon." Lucy said as she think there's not enough time.

"We'll be back before that. It will be worth it. Once you meet him, you'll change your mind on them. Especially since your best friend loves this tribe." Zach said. Lucy had her doubts, but she couldn't see any harm in it.

"Fine, but it better be worth it like you say." Lucy said.

...

Perim

Lucy and Zach ported to a cavern in Perim. Lucy was curious about this creature Zach was talking about.

"So what is the name of this creature we're looking for?" Lucy questioned.

"Aokua. Aokua is a pretty tough underworlder and guards this place from danians." Zach said as they started searching for this creature. "I heard about him from a couple other players. I came here myself once and met him. Whatever happens, try and keep calm."

"Keep calm?" Lucy questioned as she didn't like the sound of that. "What do you mean by that? What's going to happen?"

"You'll see when we meet Aokua." Zach said. Lucy was starting to regret this decision. Suddenly, they heard a squalling sound. They turned around and saw a dragon-like creature found them. Lucy freaked and ran off as fast as she could with Zach following her. The dragon flew after them and grabbed a hold of them as he flew them around the area.

"What's happening?!" Lucy said as she was getting scared, but she saw Zach actually looked excited. "And I thought Natsu was the thrill seeker?! What the heck are you smiling about, Zach?!"

"Just hang on! The ride will be over soon!" Zach said. The dragon carried them around and after a bit, dropped them to the ground. Lucy felt like she had a heart attack.

"Enjoy the ride? I never get tired of that." The dragon said.

"Nice one, Aokua." Zach said.

"Aokua?! This is Aokua?!" Lucy said.

"Yeah. I told you." Zach said. "Aokua might give people are hard time with that wild ride, but he really is a good guy."

"I find that hard to believe after that." Lucy said.

"Is there a problem?" Aokua asked as he lowered his head to them.

"I'm trying to convince my friend here that not all underworlders are bad." Zach said. "Look, I know the ride might have been a little scary, but it was all harmless. Look. You don't have a scratch on you."

"I don't care. That wasn't funny." Lucy said as Aokua turned his head back and forth between them.

"Lucy, it was just a harmless prank. It would be a different story if we were danians." Zach said. "Aokua guards this place from them and you know how I feel about danians."

"Maybe, but underworlders probably pull stuff like that all the time and they're really jerks." Lucy said.

"You have no sense of humor." Zach said.

"May I make a suggestion." Aokua said. "You seem to have problems with us underworlders. I know about you humans and your little game. Why don't you just scan me and use me in your little game and see things through my eyes."

"Exactly. That's what I'm saying, Lucy." Zach said. "Scan Aokua, use him in your match, and you can see through the eyes of the underworlder, see that they aren't so bad."

"Fine. I promise to do it, but I'm only doing this because I need to get ready for my match." Lucy said. She took out her scanner and started scanning Aokua and added him in. "I'm a little surprise that a big guy like you tolerates humans."

"I don't mind humans. They're quite..."enjoyable."" Aokua said. The two of them weren't sure how to take that.

Chaotic

Zach met up with Natsu and Erza for them to see Lucy's match. Zach told them on what was going on with Lucy and seemed interested.

"So Lucy is going to use underworlders in this match?" Erza asked.

"I can't wait to see this." Natsu said. Seeing Lucy using underworlders is certainly something interesting to see.

...

The Oron Drome

"Heartful-Star, right? I saw your stats and I see your an overworld battler. I haven't an all-overworlder battle in a long time." Mitch said, a standard looking guy. "They're the best. I wouldn't want those other pathetic tribes in my deck. Am I right?"

"I wouldn't know about that." Lucy said as she set her team. 'I did promise to use Aokua. I'll put him in the back. I'll even use another underworlder to really get it. Nivenna Underworld Lieutenant should do.' Lucy thought as she put both underworlders on her team. 'Thanks to Zach telling me the story, I'll use Aivenna to help out. They'll both get some boost from being on the team together. I'll also use Wrenges, Owis, and Mezzmar. I'll also throw in a couple underworld mugics. I'll use the Melody of Malady and the Song of Fury.'

"Players, lock your decks." They both locked their decks, but Mitch was surprised with her choices.

"You're using underworlders with overworlders?! Disgusting!" Mitch said.

"We'll see. Let's get started." Lucy said as she selected the first location.

"The first location...Stormgrounds."

"Here we go. Nivenna attacks Dractyl!" Both of them selected their creatures and now Lucy gets an inside look of being an underworlder.

"Let's get chaotic." Nivenna said. They entered the location and Nivenna was doing her best to resist the harsh rain and wind. It felt a little weird for Lucy to be an underworlder, but she pushed through it.

"There you are, traitor to overworlders!" She looked up and saw Dractyl heading her way. "Shriek Shock!" He unleashed a sonic blast, but Nivenna moved out of the way of the attack and tried to get out of his range.

"Unsanity!" Nivenna launched a beam from her mind and blasted Dractyl with it and did some damage to him, but he was able to pull it together.

"Ektospasm!" Dractyl unleashed a blast of ectoplasma and blasted Nivenna with it. It knocked her down, but she wasn't beaten yet.

"Let's see what underworld mugic can really do. Melody of Malady!" Nivenna played mugic and it came down on Dractyl and was dealing some damage to him. Nivenna took advantage of the commotion and launched a beam that trapped Dractyl. Nivenna moved him in place in the sky as a bolt of lightning came down on him and coded him. Lucy won as an underworlder and it actually felt good.

"You just got lucky." Mitch said.

"Nope. I was just smart." Lucy said and it was on with the battle.

"Orth attacks Wrenges!" Wrenges ended up smashing the ground open and Orth fell through with him geting coded.

"Aivenna attacks Relim!" Aivenna used flash kicks and ended up coding him again.

"Vidav attacks Wrenges!" Vidav used a destructozooka and coded Wrenges.

"Mezzmar attacks Vidav!" Vidav used his battlegear and coded Mezzmar as well.

"Aivenna attacks Xaerv!" Aivenna blasted Xaerv and coded him as well.

"Vidav attacks Owis!" The battlegear has given Vidaz an edge as he coded Owis as well.

"Nivenna attacks Vidav!" Nivenna was able to blast Vidav's battlegear out of his hands and coded Vidav with Flashwarp.

...

The Portcourt

"Lucy's doing pretty well. It's three to one now." Natsu said.

"Yeah. She really knows what she's doing." Erza said.

"Maybe, but it's not over yet." Zach said. "Mitch is using Zalic and seems to be giving Aivenna a hard time. Aivenna tried an energy attack, but Zalic moved out of the way. He used Paral-Eyes and had Aivenna trapped. Zalic used Skeletal Strike and the skeleton smashed against Aivenna and she ended up getting coded.

"Oh man. She lost Aivenna. That was her best creature." Natsu said.

"Not necessarily. She's still got Nivenna and Aokua is still on the board. Now she's really going to be an underworlder." Zach said.

...

The Battle

"The next location...Ravanaugh Ridge." Lucy looked at the two creatures she had left. It was time to see what Aokua is really like.

"Okay, Aokua, let's see what you've got. Aokua attacks Zalic." Lucy said. They became the creatures, but Zalic was a little intimidated by the size of Aokua. Now Lucy is going to unleash the full power of an underworlder. They appeared on Ravanaugh Ridge and Zalic was wondering around.

"Where did that thing go?" Zalic questioned. Suddenly, he heard a noise. He looked up and saw Aokua flying right at him. Aokua flew right over and Zalic got caught in the tailwind.

"Spirit Gust!" Aokua launched a gust of spirits and blasted Zalic with it, but Zalic pulled out a ring and formed a shield around himself. Aokua tried an energy blast from his mouth and nearly busted through the barrier.

"Fortisimo!" Zalic cast mugic and the mugic caused him to grow. He swung his arms around and hit Aokua. He grabbed Aokua and tossed Aokua away, but Aokua pulled himself together and was still flying.

"You're not the only one that can cast mugic. Song of Fury!" Aokua cast mugic himself and it came down on Zalic as it was dealing some damage. The effects of Fortisimon wore off and he shrank back to size as well. "Thanks to Aokua, I can use this. Lucky Shot!" Aokua launched a rainbow blast and it hit Zalic with him getting coded.

...

The Portcourt

"Whoa!" Natsu said as they saw the attack. "What the heck was that?"

"Lucky Shot, a powerful attack." Zach said. "All of Aokua's stats were one hundred and were much higher than Zalic's. When all your stats are higher than your opponent's, your enemy takes a lot of damage."

...

The Drome

"The winner: Heartful-Star."

"Nice match." Lucy said as she walked over to him to shake hands, but he just knocked it away.

"You won with a sneaky and dirty trick. Typical for an underworlder." Mitch said and just stormed off. After the match, Lucy met up with Zach and the two had a stroll.

"How does it feel now that you battled as an underworlder?" Zach asked.

"Honestly...pretty good." Lucy said. "When I battled as Aokua, I felt so carefree and high in spirit. I could see into Aokua's mind and have a better understanding of him and Nivenna. They battle as hard as they do for their tribe, their friends."

"See?" Zach said.

"Yeah. I'm not favoring the underworlders, but I have more respect for them." Lucy said. "I guess you really can't judge a creature by it's tribe." Lucy has more respect for another tribe and that will give her more respect for the creatures as well.
