Chaotic is a place where you can become the creatures you want, but some players favor one tribe over the other tribes. That can lead to some disagreements.
"Are you out of your mind?!" Natsu shouted. "You use mixed teams in all of your matches! How can you say that about underworlders?! You...hippo-critter!"
"It's hypocrite, genius, and it's true." Zach said. "Underworlders are tough, but Danians are better. Look at what they did with Mount Pillar. What do you think they're capable of? More than the underworlders clearly."
"I guess that would explain why they rule over so little." Natsu said. "Most of the territory those bugs have claimed are really the underworlders'." As those two were arguing, Erza and Lucy came by and heard them arguing.
"What is going on here?" Lucy asked.
"What are you two yelling at each other about?" Erza said.
"Natsu has really done it. He thinks that the danians are really just posers for underworlders." Zach said. "Underworlders ain't all that."
"Neither are the danians. They're just overgrown bugs." Natsu said.
"Say that again and I'll crush you like a bug." Zach said.
"Guys, all the tribes are great. There's really no way of knowing which tribe is better than the other." Lucy said.
"Lucy is right. All four of the tribes are great in their own way. It's practically pointless to argue over this." Erza said. "Especially since it's neither. The mipedians are the better tribe."
"What?!" Both of the boys said.
"Erza, that didn't really help." Lucy said.
"Big whoop." Natsu said. "They're just overgrown lizards that can turn invisible. Chameleons back home do that all the time. Same with Danians. So they built their little insect home. Termites and ants do that all the time."
"At least they're real. Underworlders are just based off of fictional monster movies." Zach said. "I've won against many underworlders with my bugs. As for the mipedians, they can turn invisible, but that really seems all they can do. Those boost of attacks they do benefits them since they're not that tough."
"Is that so? Would you boys care to repeat your statements?" Erza said and it was turning into a three-way argument.
"Hold on!" Lucy said. "I think I might know a way to settle this." When she said that, they were all listening.
"Go on." Erza said.
"Do you guys remember just a little while ago that I battled with underworlders?" Lucy said. "Doing that allowed me to have more respect for the tribe. Maybe you guys should consider doing the same. If you battle as a creature from a tribe besides your preferred tribe, it might help you guys have more respect for the other tribes."
"How do we do that?" Zach questioned.
"I propose a battle royale in the Beta Drome." Lucy said. "Each of us will battle with a creature that's from a different tribe than the ones we prefer. Maybe doing this will give you guys more respect for the other tribes."
"So who battles with what tribe?" Zach asked.
"I got it." Lucy said as she took out some chaotic cards. "I've got a creature card for each tribe. Each of you pick one. Whichever tribe you pick is the one you use. If you pick your favored tribe, you have to switch with someone. What do you say?" All three of them thought it over and figured there was no harm in it.
"Fine. Let's see what we get." Natsu said. Each one of them grabbed a card and pulled them out. "Looks like I got danians."
"I have mipedians." Zach said.
"I've got overworld." Erza said.
"And it looks like I got underworlders again." Lucy said. "So let's head for the Beta Drome and try this out." The others weren't sure how well this was going to work, but at least they get a battle from it.

The Beta Drome
The Beta Drome was the only drome where the players could make their own rules in a battle. That means they could have a four-way battle like this.
"Okay. Remember, you can only use the tribe that you selected." Lucy said.
"So how does this work?" Erza asked.
"Each of us will pick one creature from the tribe we selected." Lucy said. "We'll also pick one battlegear and one mugic. As for the location, each of us will select one and send them to my scanner. Don't select a location that gives you an advantage based on what tribe you're from. It has to be one that effects our stats. We have to pick one that's fair and balance that effects all of us. Also, no generic mugic. Only use tribal mugic."
"But shouldn't we pick locations that give us an advantage based on what tribe we're battling as if we're looking to respect the other tribes?" Zach said.
"No because we're not focusing on just winning this battle. If you all are clear, let's do this." Lucy said and they all prepared for this.
'Let's see. What danians do I have?' Natsu questioned as he looked through his danians and found one. 'Dasalin! He'll do. I'll give him a pyroblaster too so I can use water and fire. What danian mugic do I have?' He looked through his danian mugic and found one. 'Swarm Song! Perfect. That'll do lots of damage. As for my location, I'll go with Everain to make his water attacks stronger.'
'Let's see. Overworlders...' Erza thought as she looked for one. 'Psimion! He'll do. I'll also give a liquilizer to help. As for mugic, I'll go with Song of Stasis. That should stop one of them for a while. As for my location, I'll go with Rock River Canyon.'
'I don't have many mipedians that can use mugic.' Zach thought. 'Jumbad will do for this. I'll also give him Dractyl Scales. They'll give him a boost in energy. As for mugic, I'll go with Gear Glissando. That should stop one of them from using battlegear for a while. I think I'll go with Crystal Cave. They'll take some damage from their own attacks.'
'What underworlders do I have?' Lucy thought and spotted one that can help. 'Vyll will do. He can fly and has more than one mugician. I'll give him the aqua shield and go with the Melody of Malady. As for location, I did say we have to have a neutral location and tribal mugic. I didn't say we couldn't stop each other from using mugic. So I'll go with Eye of the Malestrom and Vyll will have a mugician to spare.' All of them picked their creatures and were set.
"Ready." The other three said.
"Good. Now send your locations to me and I'll pick the location." Lucy said. They did what she said and it was all set. Lucy spun her location randomizer and all of them were hoping for their location. "Rock River Canyon."
"My location!" Erza said.
"Let's do this." Lucy said. Each one of them selected their creatures and they each became their creatures. Now to see if Lucy's idea works. The drome changed to the location and it was on. A bit of a hard start for Dasalin as he was having trouble walking.
"I'm sticking with creatures that only has four limbs." Dasalin said. Not a good start for him. It's about to get even worse with Jumbad appearing form his invisibility.
"Not so easy, is it?" Jumbad said and got his attention. "Earth Pulse!" Jumbad used his attack and blasted Dasalin with it and knocked him down. Jumbad was going to attack again, but looked to the side and saw another rock attack coming his way. It smashed against him and sent him flying into the river.
"Who says monkeys are just playful?" Psimian said as he showed himself and jumped down.
"Perhaps the same person that says vultures symbolize doom." Psimian looked up and spotted Vyll flying his way. "Spirit Gust!" Vyll used the attack and it blew against Psimian with it doing some damage. Dasalin got back up and was not going to be left out this.
"Time to get in the fight. Rip Tide!" Dasalin used the attack and blasted Psimian with him getting knocked down. Dasalin tried shooting water at him, but Vyll avoided the attack.
"Mind Strike!" Vyle launched a blue beam and blasted Dasalin with it. Dasalin got a little dizzy, but he pulled through and pulled out his pyroblaster.
"Sudden Flare!" Dasalin fired a blast of fire. Vyll quickly pulled out his aqua shield and blocked the attack. He stopped that attack, but was blasted by a series of rocks and knocked out of the air. Jumbad climbed out of the water after scoring a good hit, but got blasted by Psimian's liquilizer.
"Sludge Gush!" Psimian launched some sludge, but Jumbad and Dasalin were able to avoid the attacks. Dasalin used Steam Rage and ended up blasting Psimian. He started moving and tried charging at them.
"I think I'm starting to get the hang of this." Dasalin said as he got his legs working. He launched more flames, but Jumbad jumped over him and avoided the attack. Jumbad was going to attack again, but he noticed Vyll flying at him.
"Viper Lash!" Vyll created some snakes and they lashed against Jumbad and he took some damage. Psimian got back in the fight and used his liquilizer. Dasalin ducked from the attack, but Vyll got blasted from this. Dasalin was starting to see he was in trouble.
'I'm not going to last long at this rate.' Natsu thought, but he suddenly realized something. 'Wait! Dasalin's ability! Hive ability allows Dasalin to weaken his water attacks to gain a mugician and heal himself. Come on. Activate.' He tried to focus and was able to activate the hive with Dasalin in a golden aura.
"Frost Blight!" Psimian attacked again, but Dasalin jumped over the attack and avoided it. Vyll got back in the fight and tried launching attacks again as he was flying.
'Vyll is a problem since he can fly.' Erza thought. 'In that case, I better keep that from happening.'
"Song of Stasis!" Psimian cast his mugic, but he wasn't expecting one thing. Jumbad jumped at Vyll and got caught in the mugic as well and both of them were having trouble moving.
"What do you say we take these two out and settle this between us?" Dasalin questioned.
"Fine with me." Psimian said as they both attacked together, but Vyll and Jumbad were ahead of them. They used their battlegears and sacrificed them to gain some energy just before they were both attacked and knocked down.
"What happened? Why aren't they coded?" Dasalin said.
"They both used their battlegear to gain energy." Psimian said.
"That's right and I say we end this." Jumbad said.
"Agreed." Vyll said as the four of them stood off with each other and readied their final attacks. "Melody of Malady!"
"Swarm Song!"
"Torrent of Water!"
"Paral-Eyes!" They all used some attack to deal some all got hit by something and ended up being a series of getting coded. When they were back in the drome and it showed that Natsu was the last one standing and won the battle.
"I won! Oh yeah!" Natsu said.
"See? Danians can be pretty tough and nice use of Dasalin." Zach said. After the battle, the four of them walked out and talked about battle.
"I'll admit it. Danians are tougher than I thought." Natsu said.
"See?" Zach said. "Danians are tough. Nice tough using Hive to heal Dasalin. I'll admit that mipedian invisibility is pretty cool. I guess I give them a hard time because my mipedian deck isn't looking that well."
"I be happy to help you get some mipedian scans." Erza said.
"We should do this again, but I call mipedian. I want to be invisible." Natsu said.
"Only if I can be a danian. I've been wanting to try that Hive." Erza said.
"Dibs on overworld. I want to be Gespeden since he's my favorite." Zach said. As the three of them were talking about this, Lucy was enjoying what she was seeing.
"That's more like it." Lucy said. The tribes might be at war with each other, but there's no reason for Chaotic players to be. They'll able to put their differences aside and learn to respect each other's differences. Maybe those creatures could learn a thing or two from humans after all.
