On her way Hayley muttered a string of curses under her breath, she knocked on McGonagall's door and took a deep breath. Minnie was surprised to see the young Potter, Hayley took a deep breath and gave Minerva the piece of parchment, she read it and ushered the young Potter inside.

'Miss Potter, what is the meaning of this?' Minerva asked 'Minnie, she just gives Harry detention for nothing, I had to speak up for it, and the toad said that Quirrel was teaching according to the ministry' Minnie waited for the young Potter to continue 'And Harry said that he was a great teacher with the minor exception of having Voldemort in the back of his head' Minerva flinched on hearing the name.

Hayley sighed 'get used to the name Minnie, fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself' Minerva offered the young Potter a biscuit who politely declined. 'Miss. Potter, teach anything, she just asks us to read the book and nothing else, and she expects us to perfect the spell in our O.W.L's' Minerva was no expecting to hear this but maintained a stony expression.

Hayley then grinned 'Minnie, do you mind if I burn her?' Minerva gave her an amused smile 'Miss. Potter as much as I'd love you to do exactly that, I'm afraid that would sentence you to Azkaban' Hayley sighed dramatically 'It would've been worth it'. Minerva noticed that the girl was exactly dramatic like Sirius Black. 'Well,' Hayley started 'I must get going, I think I'll visit my parents, Sirius will be overjoyed on hearing me getting detention' she winked at Minerva and started towards the door 'Miss. Potter try not to snap at Umbridge' Hayley looked over her shoulder and smirked 'No promises, Minnie' and disappeared.

'I'm home' Hayley announced dramatically, Lupin, Sirius, James, Charlie, and Chloe were in the kitchen discussing something. Everyone turned to face her, 'weren't you here a few hours ago?' Charlie asked 'well' Hayley sighed dramatically sitting next to Sirius 'I have the hour free, I'm bored'. Chloe furrowed her eyebrows 'don't you have class?' 'Yeah, but I kinda stormed out of it' Hayley said 'what do you mean?' James asked 'I had this argument with the toad, who gave me and Harry detention for a week' Sirius snorted.

Hayley turned to Sirius and whispered 'do you know where I can get the best firewhiskey?' Sirius smirked 'try hogshead or the three broomsticks' Chloe who had overheard the conversation glared at Sirius who shrugged slinging an arm over Hayley's shoulders 'I'm of age' Hayley stated before casting a quick tempus charm 'Bloody hell' she exclaimed 'I have to go, classes' she ran to the door and disappeared.

After classes and dinner, Hayley and Harry walked up to Umbridge's office. The first thing Hayley noticed when she entered was; everything was pink, literally everything was pink. It was like entering Barbie's house, Hayley snorted. 'Good evening Mr. and Miss. Potter, you'll be doing lines now take your seats and start'. Harry and Hayley sat down, 'Miss. Potter, I want you to write; I must not defend liars' the toad said sweetly and smiled at them. Anger boiled inside Hayley but she took a deep breath and glared at the parchment.

Hayley took the black quill, and started to write I must not defend liars, she felt a sharp pain on the back of her left hand, to her horror she saw I must not defend liars scratched out in her handwriting. She continued writing paying no heed to the pain as she had gone through much worse, she grinned mentally and concentrated hard on her magic. Minutes later, there was a yelp from the toad. Harry and Hayley turned to see the toad cradling her right hand. 'Professor, are you okay?' Hayley asked sweetly.

Umbridge snapped her head in the direction of the Potter's and said 'yes, yes, go back to your lines' she said. Hayley turned to her parchment and smirked, Harry gave her a questioning look but she just smirked at him and continued her lines. Minutes later another yelp was heard, and the toad said 'nothing, continue' before they could ask what was wrong. This happened loads of times that particular evening.

Finally, the toad told them to stop and she checked their hands, she smiled sweetly at them and said 'this needs to sink in a bit more, enough for now' she dismissed them. 'Good night Professor' Hayley called over her shoulder and received no reply. She was smirking when she walked out of the office, and when Harry finally asked her what was going on Hayley answered 'I did a bit of magic, I switched her quills to the ones she gives us. So when she was marking the essays, on the back of her hand appeared I must not act like a toad' Hayley then burst out laughing and Harry joined.

As they walked Hayley suddenly stopped and pulled a tin from her bag, she opened it and spread it over Harry's wound it disappeared within seconds. However she didn't apply it in her hand, but wink at him 'see you tomorrow, baby bro' and walked to the portrait of the Greek lady she said the password and walked in.

Everyone was sitting in the common room talking to Jason; Jason was red, very red. 'I'm back' she announced throwing herself onto the couch. Percy wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close. 'Why are you red?' Hayley asked Jason, 'how was detention?' he asked to change the subject. 'Hilarious' Hayley smirked 'what did you do?' Nico asked narrowing his eyes at her. She feigned innocence 'why would you think that I, the most innocent person here would do anything?' she put her hand on her chest in mock offense.

Nico rolled his eyes 'tell us what the bloody hell you did' he ordered 'well' she smirked 'I did what she does to us' she then lifted her left hand and turned it over so that everyone could see her scar that was now red and bloody. 'so, I did a bit of magic, you see the toad was marking essays so now on her back of her right hand is…..' she trailed off for a dramatic effect 'I must not act like a toad' she finished grinning. While she was explaining her fire appeared and healed the scar.

Everyone looked at her in disbelief and burst out laughing, 'you should've seen her' Hayley said between laughs 'she was yelping every minute'. When the laughter died down she turned to Jason smirking 'now you never answered why you were red' 'oh' Percy smirked as Jason went red again 'someone's in love' he said in a sing-song voice. 'Oh, who's the lucky witch?' she asked wiggling her eyebrows at him. 'Hermione' everyone said. And Hayley smirked wider 'that's wonderful, now you going to ask her out to Hogsmeade?' when Jason went redder 'I guess that's a yes' she said 'don't worry, I'll help' she grinned.

They parted to their respective rooms, Hayley going first but when she opened the door she landed in Grimmaud place with Percy behind her. Luckily it was empty.
