Natsu was wrapping up another battle as Igneel flew through the air. His opponent was using Galin and was running as fast as he could from Igneel, but Igneel was catching up to him. Galin turned to fight back and tried using Sleep Sting, but Igneel flew around and avoided the attack.
"Flame Orb!" Igneel tossed the ball of fire and it blasted against Galin with him getting knocked down. "Time to wrack another win. Mega Roar!" Igneel used the roar attack and Galin got caught in it and ended up getting coded.

The Portcourt
Natsu met up with his friends and felt real good about his win.
"Nice match." Erza said.
"Yeah. You've been starting to wrack the wins lately." Lucy said.
"Yeah. I'm just that good." Natsu said as he felt good about himself. Of course, there are others that beg to differ as he heard someone scoff. They looked at another table and saw Clyde and Krystal sitting there.
"Look at that, Crystal. The hotshot thinks he's a great player." Clyde said.
"It's actually cute when the stupid think they're good at something." Krystal said.
"This coming from the two that Natsu can easily beat." Zach said.
"Seriously, why do you two always have to bother people?" Lucy said.
"Cause it's fun poking at you losers." Krystal said.
"Besides, when you are the best, this is how you treat the rest. You need to understand where you really are." Clyde said. As both sides were arguing about this, someone was coming over. Whoever this guy was, he can give you an unsettling feeling.
"Children, you should calm yourselves. Take the matches to the dromes." All of them got a good look at this guy. He was dressed in all black and looked fancy with a crimson buttoned shirt under his blazer and a white ascot with him having sandy brown hair. "Arguing about who the better player is? How pointless."
"Oh? Who might you be?" Clyde asked.
"The name is Siegfried and there's no point in debating who the better player is. The truth is that title belongs to me." Siegfried said.
"Is that so? Big words, little man." Clyde said. "I don't think I've ever seen you battle before. If you think you're so tough, why don't I show you how wrong you are."
"No thanks. I don't battle third-rate players like you and your little friend there." Siegfried said.
"Third-rate?!" Clyde said as he and Krystal took some offense to that and Natsu and his friends took pleasure in it.
"If that. You two wouldn't be worth my time." Siegfried said and turned to Natsu. "You on the other hand are a different story, Fire-Dragneel. You and that Igneel of yours. How about you and I have a match in the Beta Drome."
"You're on." Natsu said.
"Hold on, Natsu." Lucy said as she motioned him to come closer. "I'm not sure about this. I got a bad feeling about him."
"Come on. I'm sure it will be fine." Natsu said. "Let's go, Siegfried. I'll take you on." Siegfried was glad to hear that, but Lucy wasn't so sure about this.

The Beta Drome
Natsu and Siegfried entered the drome. Natsu was excited to have another battle, but he should be careful. He's never seen this guy battle before and it seems like no one has. He's very mysterious.
"Ready?" Siegfried said as he pulled out his scanner, but Natsu noticed something strange about it.
"Hold on. A black scanner? I've never seen one like that one before. Where'd you get it?" Natsu asked.
"Let's just say that it's one of a kind. Let's get this battle started." Siegfried said. Both of them placed their scanners in and started setting up their teams.

The Portcourt
"So does anyone know anything about this guy?" Zach said as they watched the battle.
"I can't say that I do." Erza said. "I don't even know his screenname or anything about his battling history. I don't think I've ever met him until today."
"I've got a bad feeling about this." Lucy said. "There's just something about this guy I don't like. I hope Natsu will be okay." Both of them had their teams set and they locked their decks. When they did, they saw his team and couldn't believe it.
"Whoa! Look at his team!" Zach said.
"All those scans are incredibley rare. Where did he get all of them?" Lucy siad.
"He's got a creature from every tribe, including a m'arillian." Zach said. "I guess that's why he wanted this to be in the Beta Drome. Those creatures can't enter a mixed army. He's got Van Bloot, Heptadd, Iflar, Vilrik Landfarer, and Ritzu'dag. Wait a minute. Who is that creature in the back?" They all took a look and it was a strange creature they didn't know. "I've never seen that one before."
"Neither have I." Erza said. This looked more and more suspicious.

The Beta Drome
"Who is that creature you have in the back?" Natsu asked.
"You'll find out. That's assuming you'll even make it that far." Siegfried said. "I'm interested to see what you can with that Igneel. Let's get started. If you don't mind, I'll make the first attack."
"Fine with me. Doesn't matter either way." Natsu said. Siegried went ahead and activated his location randomizer.
"The first location...Gothos Tower."
"Van Bloot attacks Barath Beyond." Both of them selected their creatures. They became their creatures and this battle was about to start. There was no turning back now. The area changed and Barath Beyond found himself inside Gothos Tower. He made his way up some spiral stairs and moved carefully.
"Yuck. This places needs some freshening up." Barath said as he made his way up. He kept going until he heard something ahead of him. He looked and saw a fearocity attack smashed against him and he was blown all the way down the spiral staircase and smashed against the ground. Barath Beyond looked around, but didn't see him around.
"Spirit Gust!" Barath Beyond saw another attack coming and blasted him. He looked and saw Van Bloot appeared.
"How'd you do that?" Barath Beyond said.
"Don't you know? Van Bloot can become invisible here at Gothos Tower." Van Bloot said. Barath took some heavy damage, but he still kept it going.
"Steam Rage!" Barath Beyond used the attack, but Van Bloot was able to avoid it.
"Viperlash!" Van Bloot unleashed some snakes and they smashed against Barath with him already getting coded. Natsu couldn't believe how fast the battle ended with Siegfried turning back.
"That was so fast!" Natsu said.
"Come on. Don't tell me that's really all you got." Siegfried said. Natsu could tell he was not playing around. Whoever this Siegfried was, he was no ordinary player. "It's your attack." It was too late for Natsu to turn back now. So he went on with the match.
"The next location...Castle Pillar." Natsu looked around for his target and spotted a good one.
"Drakness attacks Heptadd!" Once the creatures were selected in this one, Natsu was pretty confident in this battle.

The Portcourt
"At least Natsu is battling as Drakness in Castle Pillar." Zach said as they watched Drakness make his way through the pillar. "Drakness knows that location very well and his wisdom is a lot higher than Heptadd's."
"True, but Heptadd is still a powerful creature." Erza said. "Even with that advantage, Heptadd can still cast mugic from any of the four tribes and can use all four elements."
"Natsu better finish this one fast or else he could be in real trouble." Lucy said.

The Battle
Drakness was able to make his way through the place. He didn't spot Heptadd yet and he thinks that's a good thing.
'I'm pretty close to that mugician.' Natsu thought. 'No sign of Heptadd yet. I need to get that mugician if I want to stand a better chance.' Drakness kept going through the location, but he had no idea that Heptadd was really following him. Drakness made his way to the room that the mugician was in.
"Here it is." Drakness said as he solved a puzzle and was able to get the door unlocked.
"Freeze Flash!" Drakness was hit in the back and Heptadd jumped over him. "You're not getting the mugician as easily as you think."
"You can't stop me. Drakness' wisdom is much higher than Heptadd's." Drakness said.
"Think again." Heptadd said. "Mindsink!" Heptadd fired a beam from his forehead and blasted Drakness with it and Drakness became a little dizzy. "Composition of Concentration! Grant me wisdom!" Heptadd cast mugic and it increased his own wisdom. Now Heptadd is smarter than Drakness. Heptadd reached out and Drakness saw the mugician and it went to Heptadd.
"No..." Drakness said.
"Yes and it's not over yet." Heptadd said. "Symmetry Slam!" Heptadd blasted Drakness with another attack. Drakness pulled out an Aqua Shield to try and block the attack, but it still caused Drakness to smash into a wall. "Don't forget that Heptadd can cast mugic from any tribe. Song of Symmetry!" Heptadd cast danian mugic as Drakness took damage and Heptadd gained some with Drakness getting coded.

The Portcourt
"This guy's thrashing Natsu." Zach said.
"All of his attacks are so powerful." Lucy said.
And I think this is just the calm before the storm." Erza said. None of them were liking this and it was only going to get worse from here.
...
The Battle
"Well, Natsu? Do you want to keep going or are you already beaten?" Siegfried said. Natsu didn't like this at all, but he's going to put his rage into this battle and try to beat him. "I didn't think so. I want to see what that Igneel can really do. Iflar attacks Ragetrod." The crowned prince of the mipedians beat Ragetrod as Ragetrod was blasted off a cliff and got coded.
"Gambreor attacks Vilrik Landfarer!" Natsu tried, but Vilrik caused the ground to open up and Gambreor fell in with him it closign on him and him getting coded.
"Ritzu'dag attacks Kraade." Kraade tried blasting the m'arrillian with fire, but he avoided each attack. He got his tentackles around Kraade and drained away all of Kraade's energy with him getting coded. This was completely one-sided. "Well, it looks like you only have one creature left. I finally get to see what Igneel is like."
"Why are you so interested to battle Igneel?" Natsu asked.
"You're the only one with a scan of him." Siegfried said. "Truth is, I'm the only one with the scan of that creature you asked about. His name is Acnologia. Wouldn't it make an interesting battle?"
"I guess there's only one way to find out." Natsu said as he selected the next location.
"The next location...Underworld Coliseum."
"Igneel attacks this Acnologia!" Natsu said. Both of them became their creatures and Natsu was able to get a good look at Acnologia. It appeared to be a black dragon-like creature with feathery wings, blue markings around his body, and a human-like face.
"Let's get chaotic!" Igneel siad.
"Very chaotic." Acnologia said. The area changed into a coliseum. Igneel didn't waste any time with attacks. Igneel flew in the air and readied an attack.
"Magma Might!" Igneel blasted Acnologia with magma and he didn't even try to fly out of the way. Acnologia welcomed it as it hardned around his body and kept him in place. Igneel kept the attacks coming as he used Flame Orb and tossed it at Acnologia. "I've got you now!"
"I don't think so." Acnologia said as he exerted some power and freed himself while also stopping his attack. "Shadow Strike!" Acnologia unleashed his shadow and it smashed against Igneel with him being blown back as he got hit pretty hard. Acnologia spread his wings and flew at Igneel. Igneel tried using flash kicks at him, but they just bounced off him. "You'll have to do a lot better than that." Acnologia reached for Igneel, but Igneel flew around and avoided him. "Flashwarp!" Acnologia fired the attack and blasted Igneel with it in the back and knocked him down. Igneel crashed into the ground and it wasn't looking good.
"Time for some mugic. Canon of Casualty!" Igneel played his mugic and it came down on Acnologia. Igneel thought he had him, but Acnologia appeared to be unaffected by the mugic.
"Was that suppose to hurt?" Acnologia said.
"You might have handled that, but what about this?" Igneel said. "Consuming Cacophony!" He used mugic again and a great flame of mugic came down, but Acnologia was able to handle that attack as well.
"Telekinetic Bolt!" Acnologia blasted Igneel with his next attack and it caused him to be blown away as he smashed into the wall and took some damage.

The Portcourt
"Unbelievable!" Zach said as none of them liked what they saw. "He took two powerful mugics and was able to handle it like it was nothing!"
"It's not just that." Lucy said. "The mugic and Igneels attacks are doing very little damage against that thing. On top of that, Acnologia's attacks are dealing more damage than usual. I've never seen a creature like this one before."
"Me either. Where did he scan that thing?" Zach said.
"Who is this guy?" Erza said.
...
The Battle
Acnologia was beating Igneel around and it wasn't looking good at all as he walked closer to Igneel. Igneel tried to pull himself out of the wall, but he was already weak from all the damage he was taking.
"Psycho Drain!" Acnologia used another attack and blasted Igneel with it. Igneel's power was dropping and he couldn't take much more. Igneel dropped to the ground and was in bad shape. "A little disappointing. I was hoping for more of a fight, but perhaps Acnologia was just a bad match for Igneel." Igneel tried to stand back up and keep the fight going. He tried using fire again him, but it looked like it didn't deal any damage at all. Acnologia held out his hand and blasted Igneel and knocked him back down.
"Darn it..." Igneel said.
"I suppose this is the end." Acnologia said. Acnologia reached his claw into the ground and created a sword made out of magma. "Magma Hack."
"Who are you?" Igneel said. Acnologia didn't answer his question. He just tossed his attack and Igneel ended up getting coded from the attack. Once Natsu found himself back in the drome, he saw that Sigfried was gone.
"Where'd he go?" Natsu said. He's never faced an opponent like that before and he wasn't sure what to think.

The Portcourt
Natsu went back to his friends and he was pretty upset about the match. None of them knew what to think after seeing a battle like that.
"Ha." Clyde said as he and Krystal came over. "So much for Natsu being a great player. He didn't win a single match."
"Now be kind. He did just get dealt a great amount of humiliation. Something a loser like him deserves." Krystal said as the two of them laughed.
"This coming from the two who Siegfried thought were nobodies and clearly thought Natsu was a somebody." Zach said. That got the two of them to shut up and left them alone.
"You okay, Natsu?" Erza said.
"I'm not upset about the match. I cant' wrap my head around that Siegfried." Natsu said. "He had a black scanner for starters. Where could he have gotten a scanner like that? He also had those super rare scans. What really bothers me is that Acnologia of his."
"Yeah. I've never seen a creature like that." Zach said. "Everything you tried did very little damage again him, but everything he tried dealt some extra damage."
"Where could he have gotten a scan of a creature like that?" Lucy said.
"If you ask me, something's not right about him." Erza said.
"You're right, Erza. I could tell by battling him. He's no ordinary player." Natsu said. "I thought Clyde and Crystal were bad, but this guy might be on another level."
"Something tells me we better keep an eye on him." Lucy said. They all agreed to that. Something isn't right with that Siegfried and something tells them that they haven't seen the last of him.
