Siegfried has proven to be a strange and mysterious chaotic player. His true intentions aren't clear, but Chaotic isn't just a game to him anymore. Drevex is a mystery himself. A creature from ancient times that was turned to stone. He might have come from the past, but he's a dangerous creature. Those two have aligned their goals and are working together. These two together could bring trouble.
"We already have one piece." Siegfried said. He and Drevex have been hiding out in a temple in Perim and have placed the crystal they stole from Kaizeph inside the wall.
"I find this a little hard to believe." Drevex said.
"I explained everything, Drevex." Siegfried said.
"Yes, but obtaining the other half will be difficult as well." Drevex said.
"Perhaps, but no one even knows what we're doing." Siegfried said. "Once we get the other half, it all begins." They looked to the crystal they stole and it actually glowed for a second. Those two are up to something and it's clearly not good.
...
Chaotic
Many had no clue about Siegfried. Most thought he was just a normal player, but Natsu and the others knew different. That's why Lucy was on a computer and was doing a little research.
"Hey, Lucy." Natsu said as he and Erza came over. "What are you doing?"
"Doing a little research." Lucy said. "I've been trying to find everything I can about Siegfried."
"Siegfried? Why him?" Erza questioned.
"There's something not right about him." Lucy said. "We all know it. He's got powerful scans, including that one we've never seen before, he's working with Drevex, and actually stole a crystal from Kaizeph from what you told us, Natsu. What could he be up to?"
"You're right. Siegfried is someone we should be keeping our eye on." Erza said. "He's clearly after something, but what?"
"So what? If he tries anything, I'll give him a good knock to the head." Natsu said. "I didn't like him from the moment I met him."
"Natsu, this is serious." Lucy said. "Siegfried is dangerous. We need to do something because the longer he sticks around with whatever he's doing, the more trouble I fear we're in."
"The first thing we need to do is find him. He's somewhere and he can't hide forever." Erza said.
"Hey!" All of them looked back and saw Zach running through. "Hey, Lucy. I asked around about Siegfried. Someone claims they might have spotted him recently at Pouril Forest."
"Good. We need to confront Siegfried and stop him from whatever he's doing." Lucy said. All four of them agreed to that. Until they know more, it's up to them to stop Siegfried and Drevex.
...
Pouril Forest
Natsu and the others ported to the forest to try and find those two. They had to be careful because they can't let those two know they're on to them. They don't have much means to fight back in the first place.
"Are you sure they were spotted around here?" Lucy said.
"That's what a couple dudes said." Zach said.
"Let us hope so." Erza said as they looked around.
"Natsu, do you really not know anything about that crystal Siegfried stole? Think long and hard about that to be sure." Lucy said and Natsu was doing just that.
"Nope. All I heard them say something about a seal." Natsu said.
'A seal and that crystal is involved in it.' Lucy thought. 'I wonder if that means those two are planning to seal something away or break some sort of seal.'
"Wait." Erza said as she heard something. She told them to be quiet and moved carefully to some bushes. She pushed them aside and there those two were. Siegfried and Drevex moved through the forest with the others being careful they don't get spotted.
"Are you sure it would be around here somewhere?" Drevex questioned.
"I am. Just look in the sky." Siegfried said. All of them looked in the sky and they were surprised to see Intellgia was up there and flying through the air.
'That's Intellgia!' Lucy thought. 'If she's here, that can only mean one thing.'
"There it is." Siegfried said. They looked further up to the sky and they could see Kuzep up in the sky as well. That's where Intellgia headed. "The second crystal is up there."
"Second crystal? Are they talking about the same kind of crystal they stole from Kaizeph?" Zach whispered. "There's more than one?"
"Whatever they're up to, we need to stop them. We should find some way to alert someone about this." Erza whispered.
"Wait. Where's Natsu?" Zach whispered and none of them liked that they couldn't see him. Natsu decided to act now as he grabbed a branch.
"This ends now." Natsu said as he came at them from behind. He tried moving as fast as he could and was planning to knock them out, but Drevex used his tail and knocked him away.
"What a pitiful attempt." Drevex said as he turned to him with Siegfried.
"Natsu! We really should stop meeting like this." Siegfried said. "That goes to your little friends as well." He looked in their direction and the three of them came out.
"These humans again?" Drevex said as he remembered them.
"They seem to be having a bad habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time." Siegfried said.
"That's it, Siegfried. It's time you told us what's really going on." Natsu said.
"I don't need to tell you anything." Siegfried said.
"Whatever it is, we are not going to let you two getaway with it." Lucy said.
"As if you four can actually stop us." Siegfried said.
"I think it's time that the four of you got out of our way." Drevex said as he smashed his claw against the ground and used Rock Wave. The four of them moved out of the way before the attack could hit them.
"Drevex, just leave them." Siegfried said. "There's nothing they can really do to stop us. I'm heading up for Kuzep. Use your torwegg and get up there when you can." Drevex agreed and Siegfried ported out of there. Drevex used his torwegg and flew up there.
"This is bad." Erza said.
"How does Siegfried even have a location scan of that place?" Zach said.
"It doesn't matter. We've got to find a way up there before they get whatever it is they're after." Lucy said.
"No doubt. Siegfried thinks we can't do anything. We'll show him." Natsu said. "When I get my hands on him, I'll show him a thing or two.
"But how?" Zach said. "None of us have a location scan. We can't get up there to warn them or anything."
"Maybe we don't need a location scan." Lucy said as she had an idea. "I think I have an idea. You guys just don't let it out of your sight." Lucy pulled out her scanner and ported away.
"I hope she knows what she's doing." Zach said.
"I trust Lucy. I'm sure she's got something good. Come on." Natsu said as the three of them hurried after the palace.
...
Siegfried
Siegfried ported himself straight to the palace. He was basically standing in the front entrance.
"So this is Kuzep." Siegfried said as he tried to get a good look at the place. "It's similar to Kaizeph, but different at the same time. It's filled with a special energy that makes a creature's discipline stronger. In the game, you would choose which discipline you would like to increase. Inside is what we seek."
"Siegfried!" Siegfried looked and saw Drevex coming down.
"How do you feel being in a place like this?" Siegfried said.
"Incredible." Drevex said. "I can feel the special energy of this location flowing through me. It's making me stronger and much more."
"Good. Let's find the crystal." Siegfried said.
"But this place is huge. Do you even know where to look?" Drevex said.
"You let me worry about that. You just stay focus on dealing with any resistance." Siegfried said as the two of them stepped up to the gate. "First, we need to get this door open."
"I've got that." Drevex said as he used his attacks and smashed the door open. Whatever they're after, they might get if someone doesn't try to stop them.
...
Pouril Forest
"Faster, guys!" Natsu said as the three of them hurried.
"We're not cars! We're going as fast as we can!" Zach said.
"Natsu, I understand you want to do something to stop Siegfried, but we've got to be careful." Erza said. "We need to be smart as to how we handle this."
"I get that, but we can't waste any time!" Natsu said. The three of them kept chasing after the palace until Lucy appeared in front of them and she had another torwegg with her. "Lucy!"
"Did you get what you needed?" Erza said.
"I might be considered a thief, but this is an emergency." Lucy said as she put the torwegg on her back.
"Lucy, what are you thinking?" Erza said.
"I can get at least myself and one other up there." Lucy said. "I could only get one torwegg and I can only carry one person. We need to get up there fast."
"Are you sure about this? Do you even know how to work that thing outside of a battle?" Zach said.
"Lucy's right. There's no time. We need to get up there now and I'm heading up there." Natsu said as he volunteered to get up there.
"You two stay down here in case we need some help." Lucy said as she activated the torwegg and started flying. She grabbed Natsu and the two of them flew up to the palace.
"I'm starting to think those two are meant for each other. They're both nuts." Zach said.
"All we can do is hope for the best." Erza said.
...
Kuzep
Drevex managed to bust the door open and the two of them walked inside.
"Not a bad place." Siegfried said as the two of them walked in.
"Save the decoration comments for later." Drevex said.
"Stop!" Both of them stopped where they were standing as Hercant jumped down and stood in their way. "You two do not belong here and you will leave at once."
"Make us." Siegfried said as he moved out of the way. Drevex used Vine Snare and it stretched out as it ensnared around HErcant. Drevex activated his torwegg and flew backwards as he dragged him out of there. He dragged Hercant out of there and that allowed Siegfried to go further inside. "That crystal is around here somewhere and I will find it."
"Hold it right there." Siegfried looked up and spotted Brava and Bassliz up there.
"Give me a break." Siegfried said as he was starting to get annoyed.
...
Natsu and Lucy
Natsu and Lucy flew up to Kuzep with Lucy carrying Natsu. They were able to reach the palace's height, but they ended up crashing into the ground.
"You okay?" Natsu asked.
"I think so." Lucy said as Natsu helped her up. "We better get going. We need to find those two before they do anything."
"Right." Natsu said as they got moving.
"Wait." Both of them stopped as they looked up and spotted Intellgia above them as she flew down. She looked at Lucy and remembered her last encounter. "I remember you from before."
"Intellgia! I'm so glad we found you." Lucy said. "We need to warn you about something." Natsu and Lucy took the time to tell Intellgia on what's going on.
"I see. We were actually warned about this from our sister city." Intellgia said.
"You mean Kaizeph, the four elementals." Natsu said.
"Yes. So the ones who have stolen the crystal before is at it again." Intellgia said.
"So there is another crystal here." Lucy said. "What is so special about these crystals? What are they?"
"No time. We have to make sure our crystal is safe." Intellgia said as she hurried.
"Intellgia, wait. We want to help." Lucy said.
"If that's the case, hurry and follow me." Intellgia said. Natsu and Lucy hurried and followed Intellgia. Intellgia lead the way through the palace. As they ran through the place, they soon came across a large vault. Once they got there, Intellgia placed her hand on a panel and unleashed some of her power through it. Her power was the key as the door opened up. When it did, they saw the same crystal on a podium.
"That's it! That's the same crystal that Siegfried and Drevex stole." Natsu said. Intellgia grabbed it and gave it to them.
"Take it and run. The two crystals can never come together." Intellgia said.
"I'm afraid they will be." All of them looked to the entrance and saw Siegfried making his way over.
"Siegfried!" Natsu said.
"So you're the one that stole the first crystal. Wait. How did you even get past Brava and the others?" Intellgia questioned. "What kind of human are you?"
"A bit of the nasty kind." Siegfried said. "Hand over that crystal."
"Never!" Lucy said as she took it and started running. Siegfried was going to stop her, but Intellgia used telekinetic powers and stopped him from going anywhere and Natsu followed after Lucy.
"You foolish human. You have no idea what kind of power your dealing with." Intellgia said.
"I think I do." Siegfried said as he reached in his pocket and pulled out a small device. He tossed it at Intellgia and it exploded near her.
...
Lucy and Natsu
Lucy and Natsu ran out of the palace and were hurrying out of there. They were on their way out, but they heard something crash. They looked and saw Hercant injured and Drevex was still standing. He looked their way and spotted the crystal.
"Give it to me!" Drevex said.
"Stay back." Natsu said as he stood in front of Lucy.
"What will you do?" Drevex said he walked closer to them. "Give me that crystal or else." Lucy looked around and did the one thing she could do.
"Go and find it!" Lucy said as she tossed it over the edge and into the forest. "Natsu, port out!" Drevex launched an attack at them, but they ported out and they didn't get the crystal.
...
The Forest
"I'm pretty sure it landed somewhere around here." Lucy said. After Natsu and Lucy ported out of there, they ported to the forest and tried finding the crystal.
"We better find it or we're in trouble." Natsu said.
"Looking for this." Both of them looked and spotted Erza and Zach and they have the crystal.
"You found it!" Lucy said with much joy.
"Yeah, but a small problem." Zach said as he held out a small piece of it. They looked and saw a piece broke off from the end. "Part of it broke off. I hope that's okay."
"I think it is as long as we have it." Natsu said. "I just wish I knew what was so important about this thing?" All of them are wondering that. Lucy grabbed the broken piece.
"Whatever it is, it's our responsibility now. We can't let those two get it." Natsu said and all four of them agreed to it. If it wasn't clear before, it is now. This isn't a game anymore.
