"What are we going to do?" Drevex said. "We need that crystal, but those humans have it." Drevex and Siegfried attempted to steal the crystal that was just like the first one, but Natsu and the others intervened. They managed to get the crystal away from them, for the moment.
"No need to fret." Siegfried said. "We know it's somewhere in Perim. They aren't able to take it with them back to Chaotic. We just need to figure out where they could have hidden it."
"And how do you expect we do that?! It could be anywhere." Drevex said.
"No worried. We'll find it." Siegfried said. He walked over to the crystal they do have and could see it glowing. "Rest for now. We'll find that crystal." Those two crystals unlock something, but what could it be?

Chaotic
In Chaotic, Natsu and his friends were going on like everything was normal. That's good because they can't draw too much attention. As the four of them just watched some battles, Siegfried kept out of their sight as he watched them.
"They think they're smart, but they're bound to mess up." Siegfried said. "I just need a way to trick them into revealing where that crystal is. How should I go at this?" He tried to think of a way to trick them into revealing where the crystal was.
"How boring."
"I know. Can't they make their attacks look flashier or more exciting. Something that's not so predictable." Siegfried looked at another table and spotted Clyde and Krystal.
"Of course. Those two can't stand Natsu and the others. I might be able to use them." Siegfried said as he was on his way over.
"Honestly, why call this Chaotic when there is no chaos?" Clyde said.
"These losers just have the same lousy scans that anyone could get." Krystal said.
"Indeed. Things could get a little more exciting with that." Both of them looked and spotted Siegfried.
"Hold on. I remember you. You're that punk that called us third rate battlers." Clyde said.
"What do you want?" Krystal said.
"I overheard you two complaining about the game needing to be more exciting." Siegfried said. "You think having some scans that most people don't have would make this more interesting. What would you say that I might know a way for you can do that?"
"Why would we even listen to you?" Clyde said.
"It's a chance for you to get some really rare scans. Do you really want to pass that up?" Siegfried asked. He might left a bad impression on those two before, but he knew how to push the right buttons for them to cooperate.
"What exactly do you want us to do?" Krystal said.
"Just do what I say. It involves Natsu and his friends, as well a chance to stick it to them. I know you two can't resist that." Siegfried said and he was right. That sounded like music to their ears.
"Come on! That should have been when to use mugic." Zach complained.
"Patience, Zach. This battle isn't over yet." Erza said. The four of them were just enjoying the matches, but Lucy took notice as Clyde and Krystal were "passing by" their table.
"Oh no. Look who is coming over." Lucy said as they all felt disgusted.
"Krystal, did you hear this interesting rumor?" Clyde said.
"You mean that one about this powerful piece of rock?" Krystal said. "One that I heard is from a great city?" They were talking like they wanted Natsu and the others to hear them. "I heard it's quite powerful."
"We should port to Perim and try to get a scan of it." Clyde said and the two of them walked by.
"Did you guys hear that?" Natsu said. "They know about that piece of rock we got from Kuzep."
"That cant' be." Erza said.
"None of us really said anything, but there's no way they're talking about that." Zach said.
"It did sound pretty fishy." Lucy said. "Besides, we need to know what that thing is exactly and why Siegfried and Drevex want it so badly. We should check to make sure it's still safe."
"Lucy's right." Natsu said.
"Agreed. Lucy, you go to where we hid the that crystal." Erza said. "The rest of us will head to Perim and see what we can learn about that thing."
"How are we going to do that?" Zach said.
"We'll port to the library in Kiru City. There must be something there." Erza said. "The sooner we know about this thing, the better."
"Oh man. Research. Boring." Natsu said.
"Suck it up. We need to learn everything we can about this if we're going to stop Siegfried and Drevex." Lucy said. "Let's go." The four of them ran off and headed for Perim. That's just what Clyde and Krystal wanted. Clyde reached for his scanner and contacted Siegfried.
"They fell for it. Lucy is heading off on her own and those other three losers are heading for Kiru City." Clyde said.
"Excellent. I'll take care of Lucy. You two just stay on standby until I need you." Siegfried said.
"Just remember that you agreed a bunch of greatly rare scans for doing this." Krystal said.
"Of course." Siegfried said, but he had other ideas.

Kiru City
Natsu and the others headed for Kiru City. When they got there, they went to it's library and was looking through the books of the place to find some answers.
"Man. I can't make heads or tails of some of these books." Natsu said.
"That's probably because you don't do much research." Zach said. "One of these books must tell us what Drevex and Siegfried are after. We just need to find something."
"We'll search every book if we have to find some answers." Erza said.
"Hasn't Perim discovered the internet yet?" Natsu complained as they kept searching through the books. Hopefully, they'll find answers soon.

Lucy
Meanwhile, while they were all doing some research, Lucy headed for a forest somewhere in Perim. She hurried to make sure that the crystal they had was safe. She hurried through the place and found the right tree.
"Here it is." Lucy said as she dropped to her knees. She moved some leaves and other stuff away because they had the crystal hidden around there. Once Lucy cleared enough of it away, she could see it was still there, as well as the piece that was broken off. "Thank goodness. It's still here."
"Maybe, but not for long." Lucy was scared when she heard that voice. She turned around and saw Siegfried was there. "Hello, Lucy." Siegfried said.
"Siegfried?! How?!" Lucy said. "How did you know I was going to be here? How did you know where we hid the crystal?"
"That's not really important right now. What is important is that you showed me what I'm looking for." Siegfried said. "Be smart and hand it over. I've got a few tricks that will make you give it to me."
"Never." Lucy said as she took both pieces and ran off.
"Why do people always insist on doing things the hard way?" Siegfried said and walked after her.
...
Kiru City
"Nothing on this one either." Zach said as they were reaching dead ends. "None of these books have what we're looking for."
"Keep searching. There's got to be something in here." Erza said.
"So boring!" Natsu complained.
"What exactly are you looking for?" All three of them looked and were surprised as they saw Maxxor enter the place.
"Maxxor!" Natsu said.
"I remember you. You were the ones that helped out with Van Bloot." Maxxor said. "What are all of you doing here?"
"Maxxor, maybe you can help us out." Erza said. All of them took a break from research and explained to Maxxor about what's been going on.
"I see. I've already been made aware of this." Maxxor said. "I've been told rumors about one of your kind going around Perim and has been causing trouble. Chaor also informed others about this creature named Drevex."
"That Chaotic player has to be Siegfried." Erza said.
"We know he's up to no good, but we don't know what it is." Zach said. "Do you know anything about those crystals those two have stolen?"
"Not quite, but I think I might know someone who does." Maxxor said as he left the place. The three of them followed and it seems like they'll finally get some answers.

Lucy
Lucy kept running through the forest. She knew she just had to escape from Siegfried and keep him from taking the crystal again. She was able to find a place to duck and cover, but she knows it's only a matter of time until Siegfried catches her again.
"Luckily, it seems like Siegfried doesn't know about this piece being broken." Lucy said as she held the smaller piece. "He probably needs the whole thing, but he's not getting it." Lucy took the broken piece of the crystal and hit it in her shoe since it's the only place she can hide it for the moment. "I better port out of here while I can."
"And go where Lucy?" Siegfried said. Lucy looked around for him, but she couldn't see him anywhere. "It's only a matter of time until I find you. There's nowhere you can go that I can't get to and find that piece. So just hand it over."
"Never!" Lucy said as she took the crystal and ran off. She tried to take the crystal somewhere away from him, but she was surprised to see Clyde and Krystal show up as they ported in right in front of her.
"Hello, Lucy." Clyde said.
"Surprising to see you without your loser friends." Krystal said.
"I'm so not in the mood or have any time for the two of you right now. So beat it." Lucy said.
"I'm glad to see you two got my call." Lucy turned around and saw Siegfried there. Lucy looked back and forth between them and was able to figure things out.
"You two are working with him?" Lucy said. "I knew you two were low, but I didn't think you two would actually work for a maniac like this guy. Do you even know what he's really doing? It can't be good."
"Who cares?" Krystal said.
"As long as we get some great scans in the end, what does it matter?" Clyde said.
"You two are insane." Lucy said. Lucy reached for her scanner and was about to get out of there, but Siegfried grabbed her arm and kept her from going anywhere.
"I don't think so. We have much to talk about." Siegfried said.

Kiru City
Once Maxxor told Natsu and the others about what he knew, they headed for his castle. They were waiting for someone to show up so they could find some answers as to what Siegfried and Drevex might be planning. The four of them waited on the balcony and Maxxor soon spot who they were waiting for.
"There he is." Maxxor said and all of them looked to the sky. They all saw that it was none other than Igneel.
"Igneel!" Natsu said as he was happy to see him again.
"It's good to see you again, Natsu. You as well, Maxxor." Igneel said as he landed down.
"I take it you know why you're here." Erza said.
"I am. Maxxor has told me all that's been going on." Igneel said. "I know all about the stolen crystals and what they are for."
"You do?!" Zach said.
"Yes. It all happened long ago, back when the tribes were at greater war with each other than they are now." Igneel said. "You probably don't know this, but legends tell of a great and mighty creature. One that was of sheer destruction and mayhem. Nothing could stop him, but one mighty and intelligent creature named Selvack was able seal that creature away."
"Are you saying those crystals act as the seal for this creature?!" Erza said.
"That's right." Igneel said. "If those two crystals are brought together, they would break the seal and that dangerous creature would be free again. If that happens, there could be great peril in Perim."
"Drevex said he use to serve a powerful creature. Do you think it might be the same one?" Zach said.
"It just might. Luckily, we have the second crystal." Erza said.
"I better call Lucy and make sure it's still safe. We should have heard from her by now." Natsu said as he reached for his scanner, but it already went off. "That's probably her." He reached for his scanner, but he was shocked to see Siegfried on it. "Siegfried?! What do you want?!"
"I have something that you might like to know, Natsu." Siegfried said. He showed Lucy on his scanner and the others were shocked to see her with her hands tied. This is bigger than they thought and now everyone could be in real danger.
