Things were looking bad. Natsu, Erza, and Zach found out what those crystals are for. They're the keys to unlocking a seal that holds back a destructive creature. Now it would seem that Siegfried and Drevex have both crystals as well as Lucy since they had a little help from Clyde and Krystal.

"Siegfried has Lucy!" Natsu said. "That does it! He's asking for it!"

"If he's got Lucy, do you think that means he's got the other key?" Zach said.

"I'm not sure, but we have to do something." Erza said.

"You're right. This Siegfried and Drevex must be stopped. We can't allow that creature that was sealed away be free again." Igneel said.

"We've got to save, Lucy! Igneel, we just have to!" Natsu said.

"Calm down, Natsu. Siegfried is only trying to bait us. Who knows what he has planned?" Zach said. "He's clearly a tricky and cunning guy. We don't even know where Siegfried is keeping her?"

"I happen to know where the seal is. It's most likely we'll find them there." Igneel said. "Maxxor, you better get some of your men ready. If things go badly, we're going to need all the help we can get. You have no idea how serious the danger is."

"I understand. I'll get some of my soldiers ready to go and we'll meet you there." Maxxor said as he went back inside.

"In that case, I'm going to save Lucy." Natsu said as he pulled out his scanner, but Erza stopped him from going anywhere.

"Natsu, we don't know where this seal is. You might not have a location scan of the place you need to go to." Erza said. "I understand you're concerned about Lucy, but we need to be smart about this."

"We don't have time to debate about this or much." Igneel said. "Natsu, I'll take you with me." Natsu was shocked Igneel would make and offer, but also glad. "Of course, you can't go unarmed. That's how serious this is."

"Something tells me this is going to be really awesome." Natsu said.

...

The Seal

The seal was actually in a set of ruins in a mountain location in Perim. Lucy had her hands tied by some vines and wasn't going anywhere. She looked over at Clyde and Krystal. They might seemed bored, but they couldn't believe they would work with someone like Siegfried just to get a few scans.

"How long are we going to wait here like this?" Clyde said.

"Patience." Siegfried said.

"I hate being patient. Just give us some good scans already." Krystal said.

"Siegfried!" All of them looked and saw Drevex entering the ruins.

"There you are, Drevex." Siegfried said. Drevex looked around and spotted the other humans.

"What's going on around here?" Drevex said.

"Take a look." Siegfried said. He pointed to the wall and showed both crystals in them and formed a circle-like piece.

"You've done it?! You've got the second piece?!" Drevex said as he seemed excited.

"Not entirely. Take a closer look." Siegfried said. Drevex took a closer look and saw one piece was missing.

"It broke?!" Drevex said.

"A piece broke off and the seal can't break without the whole thing." Siegfried said. "That's where she comes in." He gestured to Lucy and Lucy was keeping her guard up. "She and her friends know where the missing piece is."

"And you can forget about it. I'm not telling you creeps anything." Lucy said as she was trying to keep the fact that she was hiding it in her shoe.

"No matter. I showed her friends that she's our captive." Siegfried said. "They'll be here soon to save her and we'll find the missing piece soon enough.

"Forget all that!" Clyde called out. "We want to know when we're going to get those rare scans you told us about."

"What about these two?" Drevex questioned.

"These two were just pawns." Siegfried said and that shocked the two of them. "I knew Natsu and the others would be on guard around me, but I knew I could use these two to help me out. Now they've served their purpose."

"Excuse me?!" Krystal said as she was taking a great offense to this.

"We honestly don't care what you do with her and her pathetic friends, but you are going to give us those scans!" Clyde siad.

"Will you two wake up?! This is something much bigger than just a game!" Lucy said. "Forget about the scans and try to stop them!"

"Actually, since they're no longer of any use to us..." Drevex said as he used an air attack at the two of them. It knocked them over to a cliff, but Clyde grabbed the edge and Krystal's hand. Lucy couldn't believe they would actually do that. Siegfried walked right over and looked down at them.

"Hey. Easy there." Krystal said.

"Yes. Let's not go to so extreme just for a game." Clyde said out of fear on what might happen to both of them.

"Game? You fools. Who cares about some stupid game?!" Siegfried said. "This is much bigger than that!" Siegfried stomped down on Clyde's hand and caused the two of them to fall. However, both of them acted fast and ported out of there. "Too bad. They ported out."

"I can't believe you would stoop so low." Lucy said. "What did you mean by something bigger? What is this all about?"

"You'll find out soon enough." Siegfried said.

...

Natsu

Natsu got a lift from Igneel to the mountains that the seal was suppose to be at. Igneel even had Natsu take a pyroblaster with him. If things go badly, he might need it. They arrived at them mountains and landed down.

"So Lucy is somewhere around here." Natsu said.

"Yes. Maxxor and the others should be here soon, but every second counts. Let's get going." Igneel said as he ran ahead with Natsu following. "You sure you're going to be okay with that pyroblaster?"

"I'll be fine. I'm more worried about Lucy." Natsu said. The two of them kept going until they saw Clyde and Krystal port right in front of them.

"That was close." Clyde said.

"That jerk. Who does he think he is doing that to us? Although, I do like his style." Krystal said.

"Hey!" Both of them looked to see Igneel and Natsu. "What are you two doing here?" Natsu asked and did not seem happy. Igneel and Natsu managed to get the two of them to talk and they told them everything that went on. Natsu was not happy. "You sold Lucy out for a few scans?!"

"Forget it, Natsu. Where are they now?" Igneel said.

"Some old ruins." Clyde said.

"Yeah. He's looking for some piece of something." Krystal said. "We weren't really paying attention. We just wanted our scans."

"You two are unbelievable!" Natsu said.

"Stop, Natsu. Save it for the enemy." Igneel said. "We better get going. We might not have much time." Both of them moved past those two and went ahead.

"You're seriously going up there and actually fighting?" Clyde said.

"Why? I don't get it." Krystal said.

"That's because you two only care about yourselves. Now stay out of the way. I've got a friend to save and a bad guy to stop." Natsu said and kept going with Igneel. The two of them kept moving and had to hurry to the ruins. They kept going until a set of rocks came out of nowhere and blocked them from going anywhere.

"This is as far as you two are getting." Both of them looked and saw Drevex cut them off.

"Drevex!" Natsu said.

"So he's the one you were telling me about." Igneel said.

"Where's Lucy?" Natsu said as he pointed the pyroblaster right at him.

"Careful. A human shouldn't play with those things." Drevex said.

"Natsu, I will take care of him. Go and save your friend." Igneel said. Natsu moved around the rocks and hurried to Lucy, but Drevex wasn't going to let him go so easily.

"Paral-Eyes!" Drevex launched the attack and hit Natsu and he couldn't move.

"Torrent of Flame!" Igneel used his own attack, but Drevex jumped and avoided the attack. Drevex wasn't going to let them ruin this for them.

"You won't ruin this. My great and powerful master will rise again." Drevex said.

"Your master will just bring disaster and destruction all over Perim. I won't allow that to happen." Natsu said and flew right at Drevex for their own little battle.

...

Siegfried

While all of this was going on, Siegfried was still trying to figure this out. He still needed to find the missing piece and break the seal.

"Lucy, this would all go much easier if you just tell me where the missing piece is." Siegfried said.

"Never." Lucy said as she tried to stay strong. Siegfried was starting to get impatient. He looked and saw the crystals glowing.

"Be patient. Your old apprentice is taking care unnecessary trouble. Once we get the last piece, you'll be free." Siegfried said. "You'll be more powerful than ever before."

"What exactly is in there?" Lucy said.

"Tell me where the missing piece and you'll know." Siegfried said, but Lucy refused.

"Why are you even doing this?" Lucy said, but Siegfried remained silent.

'Think. Where could she have hidden it?' Siegfried thought as he tried to think of where it could have been. 'There aren't too many places she could have hidden it.' Siegfried looked to Lucy and saw how she kept adjusting her leg and he's starting to think he might have found it.

...

Igneel

"Lavalanche!" Igneel unleashed an attack at Drevex, but he jumped away from the attack. As the two of them kept battling each other, Natsu was able to start moving again.

"That does it." Natsu said as he took aim with the pyroblaster. He gave it a try and unleashed some fire that hit Drevex in the back. "Yeah! I love that I get to use this thing."

"You little runt!" Drevex said as he unleashed another attack at him, but Igneel flew in and shielded Natsu from the attack.

"Natsu, don't let your guard down even for a second." Igneel said.

"Sorry." Natsu said.

"You will not stop us. The master's revival is at hand!" Drevex said as he was determined to see this through. Igneel and Natsu were getting ready for a fight, but that's when they heard something in the sky. They looked up and saw Maxxor piloting a ship and it opened up with overworld soldiers inside. They opened fired and began shooting at Drevex.

"Now's our chance." Igneel said as he and Natsu kept going while Maxxor and his soldiers dealt with Drevex.

...

Lucy

Lucy was trying her best to keep the last piece safe from Siegfried, but Siegfried seemed to have figure it out. He walked right over to Lucy.

"Keep away from me." Lucy said.

"I don't think so." Siegfried said. "I think I know where you're hiding it." He reached for her leg and was removing her shoe. Lucy tried to resist,, but Siegfried was able to get it off and found the missing piece. "I knew it!" He took the piece and hurried to the seal.

"Lucy!" She heard Natsu and saw him and Igneel coming.

"Stop him! He's about to break a seal!" Lucy said. Natsu and Igneel looked and saw he had the last piece.

"Stop!" Both of them said, but it was too late. Siegfried placed the broken piece in. Once he did, a bright light went off with a powerful shockwave.

"I'm free!" They all looked and saw something emerge through. They saw a creature and it was more surprising because Natsu and Lucy knew that creature.

"Welcome...Acnologia." Siegfried said.

"I'm free. I'm really free." Acnologia said.

"You might be free, but you won't be staying!" Igneel said as he launched flames at him, but Acnolgoai deflected it. Acnologia released some of his power and blew them back.

"Drevex is waiting. Time to go and enjoy your freedom." Siegfried said as he ported out. Acnologia spread his wings and took off like a rocket. Acnologia certainly is a danger as he flew around and was able to get Drevex.

"I can't believe this." Igneel said as he saw Acnologia fly. "He's really free."

"Lucy!" Natsu said as he hurried to her and tried to get her free. "Are you okay?"

"Shocked, but I'm fine." Lucy said.

"Hey!" Both of them looked and saw Erza and Zach arrive.

"Are you two okay?" Erza said.

"We just saw something take off so fast from here." Zach said.

"It was Acnologia. Acnologia was the creature sealed away." Lucy said. "How is that possible? Natsu, remember when you first battled Siegfried? He had a scan of Acnologia. So how could he have one if Acnologia was the one that was sealed away?"

"You're right." Erza said. "That shouldn't be possible. How can this be?" Just when one problem occurs, a new mystery unravels. What is to come now that a dangerous creature has been set free?
