He tried to keep talking to Purple, to let her know he was okay, but his headset disconnected. "Stupid headset!" He muttered. Black noticed his goggles' frames had a hole in it, missing glass. The small shard was on the floor of the escape pod. He felt dizzier as the escape pod darted down to earth at high speeds. He stared blankly at the top of the glass in the escape pod. Black closed his eyes in hoping of easing it, but it only made it worse. He opened his eyes again, and he just stared, trying to decrease the ringing in his head. Black's escape pod crashed onto the ground, he didn't even notice that he had entered the earth's atmosphere. He passed out.

Black slowly opened his eyes, there was a painful stabbing cold in his legs. He looked at the frost crusted on the edge of the window in the escape pod. His head rang, and there was a swirling snowstorm outside the glass window, he wasn't around Mira HQ anymore, he was probably somewhere he wasn't familiar with. Black struggled to stand, and he pressed a button as the door hissed open. The blizzard's snow outside quickly flew into the escape pod, and this made Black even more cold. He tugged onto each of his shoulders, shivering from the cold. He almost tripped stepping into the snow which reached up to his ankles. He trudged through the snow, hoping for the blizzard to die down before he got hypothermia and froze to death. He didn't want to die, not after he was presumed dead by Purple and everyone else. Black looked up, it was getter darker by the minute. He looked around, all he saw was thick blanket of darkness and swirling snowflakes. Black was shivering violently and he started to change direction to the right. He trudged for another few minutes, and he was growing more and more exhausted. Now I know how Red feels Black thought. He then saw something, it was a cave! He could get shelter! Black went a little bit faster towards it, and after what felt like hours, which was only about three minutes, he reached the cave. It was a bit small, and the snow piled up at the entrance. Black sat in the back of the cave, hoping to get warmer. He tried to pull himself together to conserve warmth. He wanted to sleep because he was tired, but he couldn't get comfortable. He just sat there, staring at the raging snowstorm outside.

Hours passed by, and the sun was rising. He couldn't believe it was this snowy in August. Black only slept about two minutes, and he was starving. The blizzard had calmed down, and now it was just a light and windy snowfall. He desperately wished to go home and sleep. He was about to stand, and an immediate pain pierced through his legs. Black winced and sat back down. He never felt as if he were in such a tough situation. He shook his head and managed to stand up this time, even though it really hurt him to do so. He hesitantly left the cave, starting to painfully trudge through the snow again. It took him five minutes to take about three steps, and he saw a clear trail with barely any snow. Black did his best to pick up his pace, and took him about two minutes to reach the trail. It was easier to walk now, without pushing through ankle-deep snow. He sighed, continuing to walk through the tundra. He gazed forward, the pink and yellow sunrise was turning the sky into a crisp blue. He looked at it for a few moments. Purple would love to look at that. Black thought, continuing to walk down the trail.
