Chapter 1: In The Beginning
The infamous cul-de-sac, home to many people of varied backgrounds of attitudes, and general ridiculousness! But on a certain Thursday, a new person is about to meet something that he isn't fully expecting, as he moved in with his parents into an abandoned house that was sold to his family for a good price. While glad with what he has to work with now... he'll have a LOT more to work with.
He spends the rest of said day working with his parents, plus some friends who came along to help, on a large amount of stuff to make the house more appealing, and generally speaking, a lot more comfortable, setting up the large TV in the living room, a slightly smaller TV in his personal bedroom, along with organizing his personal belongings in his room aswell.
The family and friends would conclude that they completed almost everything, only a couple things were lacking, but it won't take much effort, and isn't even much of an issue. Although, the twist is, the parents will have to travel somewhere to get the things they need.
Since this is the case, the parents decide to leave their son in charge for the time being, as there is unlikely to be anyone else who can even fit the role anyways. Then again, he doesn't have much to do really, just make sure that the house is in good order, and all is well. Easy as that.
While his parents were preparing for their upcoming trip, the lad decided to rest in his personal room and play some racing games, before deciding to sleep at around 11 PM, preparing himself to not only take care of the house, but also try to meet some of the fellow neighbors around this area.
The next day...
The lad gets up from bed at around 10:30 AM, and gets readied up, putting on grey jeans, a T-shirt of the band Megadeth, and black socks and shoes. He notices that his parents have already departed from the house, most likely due to catching their flight earlier than normal, but he doesn't mind, as it's better to be safe than sorry!
Regardless, the only thing he decides to get for breakfast is simply some water, as he isn't very hungry at this current moment, so he decides that he will just settle for a simple glass of water to kickstart himself for today. After finishing up, he decides to leave the house, to see who is nearby!
"Well, time to see who's nearby. I'm sure that whoever is near will be cool, if maybe JUST A BIT crazy in a good way, right?" he thinks to himself, leaving his home to see what this new place is about. He planned to do this on Friday, and today was well... Friday. Then he hears something from afar...
"Ed, let go of it you idiot!"
The lad decided to walk towards the source of the voice, to see what was going on, or to at least understand the context of what's going on. Granted, the voice wasn't hard to follow, as it was pretty loud, so he had no trouble basically tracking the source down. He wandered closer, until he entered an open backyard door, and saw who it was.
"Eddy, what can you do when you've got a shoe and you got no soul?" a second voice said.
"What the heck are you two doing?" said a third voice.
He saw three dudes over near a backyard trying to bulid something and fighting over a piece of scrap from a part. What they were building was undistinguishable for the most part, but he had to be a big project most likely. Either way, he decided to talk to them and see what was up.
"Hey, you three, what's going on here?" he asked the three boys, known commonly as the Eds
All three of the Eds had decided to stop what they doing, as they now had a visitor, and generally speaking, a new persona in the cul-de-sac!
"Oh, greetings, are you the new kid that moved here sometime ago? My name is Double D."
"Yeah, I moved here sometime ago. My name's Chris."
"A new kid? Well, welcome my good friend! My name is Ed!" said Ed, after which he and Chris shake hands, with the latter noticing a piece of toast on the former's arm.
"Hi there, also what's with the toast? It's on your arm." said Chris, getting confused.
"That's just my lunch, don't worry I will eat it!"
Ed gets the toast off and starts eating it, making Chris roll his eyes at what he saw. At least he knows who the jester around these parts is.
"My name's Eddy, the coolest here!" said the last of the Eds.
"Oh really? Sounds promising. You already know my name of course." responded Chris
Although Chris had just met the three Eds, at least he knows that they will at least be the people he can trust to know what is going on around here, and generally explain things he may or may not know about.
"What are you guys trying to make here?" Chris asked, looking at a machine that looked unfinished.
"It's a mutant alien repelent to fight off evil aliens from the bottom of hades!" Ed said, making a reference to a comic. Chris laughed at the answer, although it was obvious that it wasn't what Ed said.
"That's stupid!" said Eddy. "What we have here is what I call, Edlines airservice!"
"So a plane then?" Chris asked.
"Not 100% Chris." Double D said, "What we have here is moreso a chair that takes us to any of the residents of the wonderful Cul-De-Sac. Basically, select the residence, and off you go!"
"Hmm... it sounds easy enough, but it doesn't look very... well..." Chris got interrupted by Eddy.
"Rich? Fancy? Don't you worry because we Eds know what rich looks like."
Chris laughs slightly, after which he responds, "That isn't what I was going to say. Actually, to be honest, it looks nowhere near finished."
Eddy realized what he had meant, then said, "Ed! Give me the stupid part so we can keep going!"
"Apologies for that Chris, Ed wants to toy around with the part, but we need it for the machine, which yes, I will admit isn't finished, but I'm sure it will once we begin progess." Double D explained. Eddy kept fighting with Ed over the part. Chris, while he may have laughed, thought they should stop.
"Okay, this is silly, both of you calm down!"
They surprisingly stopped and decided to listen to Chris.
"Isn't there another one like this?" Chris asked.
"Yeah, at the Parknado-Toliet!" Ed said.
Ed confused literally everyone in the group, as none of them understood what he said, as that place that he mentioned doesn't exist, at least not in the cul-de-sac! Double D, curious to know what Ed meant, asks him, "Ed, can you point us to where exactly you are referring to?"
Ed points at an area and says, "Over there!"
Chris laughs and realizes what Ed meant to say.
"That is called the Park-n-Flush, not the Parknado-Toilet dude!"
Eddy, knowing who is there, and what danger the four of them could get into, tells Chris in a panicked state, "No wait!".
Chris gets confused, not fully understanding this sudden reaction to the idea of paying a visit to the Park-N-Flush, and seeing if they can find what they need.
"I know someone who has millions of these! Let's just... go to them! Yeah...!" said Eddy, very reluctantly.
Chris thinks this is a joke to make Eddy look better than Ed, so he says, "Eddy, you are clearly lying. Come on, I'll help ya out."
Double D wasnt exactly jumping for joy either, sweating beyond belief at the idea of the people that reside there, and at the possibilities of chaos and mayhem that could occur. It wasn't hard for Chris, Ed or Eddy to notice Double D's worrying.
"Dude, here's a towel, wow, you are gonna drown yourself so fast! Relax." Chris said.
Chris knows there's some reason why Double D and Eddy were unwilling to go to the Park-n-Flush, but he has 0 idea of why, or a clue even. Surely, it must be someone around that area, right? Regardless of whether or not that's the case, he had to find out, as this would make things hard.
As they arrive to the Park-n-Flush...
All four of the lads are scanning around, trying to find the part that Ed was referring to when he brought up this area. So far, Ed himself is looking, basically everywhere, through windows, below trailers, and among a couple other places. The rest of the crew are basically just looking around generally, and not doing the actions of Ed.
"Well, the conditions of this area are making me wonder how anyone could live in this mess!" said Double D of the lack of clean up in some parts of the Park-N-Flush.
"Ed, where is the part?" Chris asked, wondering if they were either getting closer or farther away.
"Uh... in that blue trailer!" Ed responded, pointing at a blue trailer, leading the crew over into it.
Recognizing who lives in that very specific trailer, Eddy and Double D quickly run over and say, "Chris wait!"
Chris sighs, and says, "Oh, now what?!"
They don't say anything to him, and Ed is seemingly forgetting why his friends are scared of the place they are going to. What Ed doesn't know is, he has been to this place before, but for reasons that aren't exactly pretty. Or generally good for that matter honestly.
While Ed is thinking of why his friends are scared, Chris says, in an annoyed tone, "This is dumb, are you two just scared of something here? Seriously, what could possibly be so scary here?"
Ed, thinking he has the answer, randomly says, "It's gotta be the return of the mole mutants! They have returned to capture us, and feed and dine on us for their supper!"
Chris, knowing that Ed's brain is referring to a comic, laughs and rolls his eyes. However, Eddy and Double D were still nervous to go near the blue trailer.
"Okay, relax Ed, that's most likely not what's there." Chris responded, while chuckling slightly.
Ed decided to point at the specific item that he meant, and it was an anchor that was hanging on a wall.
"Hmm... do you want to rip a side off?" Chris said.
"Ed! How does this replace our part!" Eddy said, a bit annoyed.
"Eddy, think about it! If Ed gets the anchor, he can play with that and we can use the part!" said Double D.
"Good idea, but we need to get inside though. Let me try the door." responded Chris.
To everyone's surprise, the door was open, and no one was home. Chris noticed that Double D and Eddy were much less nervous than they were on the way here. Does that mean that it was the people who live here that made them so nervous? Regardless, unsurprisingly, Ed grabbed the anchor, but he also, unknowingly, got a bottle with a ship inside on the anchor's side. None of the boys noticed the object, as Chris noticed Eddy and Double D finally cooling down, and Ed was happy with his own "toy".
They leave the Park-n-Flush, and after around a couple minutes, all of them arrive back to the machine that was being worked on before. However, not everything is perfect, is it?
"That was so wrong! How could we just take the personal belongings of someone and just act all cool like nothing wrong happened!" Double D blurted.
Ed simply didn't understand him, and Chris rolled his eyes, probably because he is exaggerating the entire situation. Either way, Eddy responded to Double D saying,
"What are you on about this time!"
Double D simply said, "How can you just sit there and pretend to think that all is going well? We will be held to our mortality standards and feel horrible due to our actions! I can't comprehend how you three are all dandy, while I'm here-" Double D got interrupted by Chris, who threw a book at him.
"Please, SHUT UP! Listen, I get what you are saying, but making a circus act about this will not help us! Look, me and Ed will return to the trailer, and return it, once we are done. Happy?" Chris said in an annoyed tone.
"Well, thanks Chris, saved me the trouble." Eddy said.
"Well, I suppose I can live with that. Thank you for having reason and standards." said Double D.
"Relax, I got this." said Chris. "Anyways, I can offer you three some help with this, if you guys want of course. If not, I'll be back at my place if you guys wanna hangout or something."
"I suppose we can take another pair of hands for assistance." responds Double D. "I shall explain to you what to do, just to clear up any possible confusion based on first glances."
And so, Chris joins the Eds in working on this machine that began only a couple days ago, and is progressing quite far!
What's next?
