Chapter 4: Lock Up The Wolves

The boys escaped for now, and went to the construction site, left unfinished for quite a while, with machines that haven't seen much use in quite some time. Either way, they all got tired and hid in a rather big tractor, that somehow had enough space for all four of them. Surprising.

Chris scans the area, and luckily he sees none of the sisters coming NEAR their location, so for the current moment, they're fine. But it won't last forever, that's for sure.

"I... can't go... on..." said Double D, panting heavily.

"Okay, I think you three owe me an explaination. Why are those three chasing us? What do they want?" Chris said in a serious tone. "This is just getting out of hand by the minute! Although, I probably didn't help matters in hindsight."

"What do you mean?" asks Eddy, unsure of what he meant be the last part of his statement.

"Well... one of them tried to hit me, but I basically reversed it against her, meaning... I blocked it, and kicked her away. Not the smartest choice in my opinion, but it was all in the heat of the moment, so don't blame me. But let's worry about that later, who are they, and what on earth do they want?"

Usually Eddy would get Double D to explain, but since he could barely get a word out, due to being tired, Eddy decided to explain what's going on to Chris, seeing as the latter has no clue as to who those three are for the most part.

"Well my good man, ever wondered what the most annoying things could be?" said Eddy, trying to be rhetorical.

"THAT'S THOSE KANKERS!" Eddy yelled. "They always botber us to no end! They go around trying to get me, Ed and Double D their boyfriends! In fact, I would rather eat my own sock, or better yet, live off nothing but Ed's gravy!"

Eddy was about to say something else, until Chris asked a question about the Kankers "loving" them, something that didn't seem the case AT ALL, from what he was just told, and that situation back at his home.

"Wait... those three like you guys? Hang on, which girl likes who!?" Chris asked, finding what Eddy said hard to believe.

"Lee, redhead, 'likes' me, Double D got that blue-haired one, Marie, and May, Blonde, likes Ed." Eddy explained.

"And how long has this been going on? Have any of you said no?" Chris questions. "Because if you haven't told them to go away, this is sorta your fault for being complacent to the entire thing man."

"Ever since 8th grade! Also, saying no? Such a revolutionary idea! Double D tried that on Marie, and that got her so mad, he had kiss marks from head to toe!" yelled Eddy.

Isn't that a revelation?! Anyways, Chris can draw the conclusion that those three are literally anything but good news based on what he is being told right now. But, he is at the same time, curious to know more of the details of all this ridiculousness.

"Okay, seems like we need a plan. These three are big trouble it seems. Although... I get the feeling I'm going to regret this, what else have they done to you and your 2 friends?" Chris said, concerned.

Eddy told Chris stories about their moments with the Kanker Sisters, for example, how Ed was kidnapped by two of them for entertaining May, the sisters getting tge Eds trapped in someone's wall, and the time when the Eds were getting married to the sisters, forcefully. Needless to say, this basically seals the deal, those three sisters are the meaning of bad in this cul-de-sac.

"Uh... I think that's enough. So, nearly a year of that... good lord. How you haven't gone crazy from that stuff is a miracle." Chris said, dumbfounded at what he heard, and questioning how they have been enduring this for so long.

"Exactly! I don't know what else we can do to make them go away anymore!" stated Eddy. "I mean, come on! How aren't they sick of this entire thing?!"

"I'm much more interested right now on escaping here, because they are going to find us eventually, and I'm not waiting around for that moment." states Chris.

"Fellas, we need to get out of here, it's almost twelve in the morning!" whispered Double D.

"I don't think it's even eleven yet dude, but let's look out, see if we can find them." responded Chris.

The boys scanned the area, and the sisters seemed to be nearby, but they didn't notice them yet, nor were they even sure that the boys were close at all. Then again, the cover of darkness is something that couldn't be more helpful than it is, as if it was daytime, this would be 50 times more difficult and counting for the boys, but much easier for the girls to spot them.

"Well, they don't see us." said Eddy, quietly. "But how are we supposed to throw them off? If we run for it, they'll catch us for sure."

Chris got an idea to confuse the sisters, which was to make a noise that would make the sisters think they were somewhere else. Admittedly, this is very much a on-the-spot idea, but even then, he has to do something rather than nothing. So, he got a empty can, and threw it towards boxes near them, which makes a noise that is quite loud.

"I wonder who that is! Get ready to come out boys!" said Lee, loudly, as she and her sisters run toward the noise, leading them further away from the boys.

"Bingo." said Chris, quietly. "Let's move, NOW."

And so the boys, magically, managed to escape the junkyard, as the go back to the house the same route that they used to escape the house earlier. However, their troubles were not over yet, as they made it towards Chris's house, they looked outside a window to see if they were coming back. In order to secure the house better, Chris not only locked down every door and window, but also made sure that the covers were up to... cover all four of them. While the sisters didn't return, the sisters were still hunting them back at the construction yard.

"Can we get a birdhouse to farm?" Ed said, very randomly.

"No, why even?" Chris responded.

"We are running out of options gentlemen! Let's just turn ourselves in and work to pay them." Double D said.

Chris, getting angry at that suggesting, immediately slapped Double D, then said, "NO! And they will make you pay by giving you thousands kisses most likely, idiot! So shut up, we are giving them nothing, and that's final!"

"There's no need for rudeness Chris." said Double D.

Chris, shurging, said, "Then don't say that stuff! I don't even think Eddy of Ed would be up to that, and I certainly am not up to that either! So you lose here."

Eddy decides that they needed to risk it and sleep. "Guys! Let's just sleep! We'll rid us of these Kanker tomorrow. I swear on my grave! By the way Double D, I don't think you've suggested a worse idea than right now. That's embarrassing."

Chris, extremely exhuasted, reluctantly agreed with Eddy's statement on getting rid of the sisters, as well as the other two Ed boys. Afterwards, the boys spent around 5 or so minutes arranging themselves for sleepung. They fell asleep quick, as all 4 were very tired due to both their hangout, and the ridiculous event just now.

Meanwhile, with the Kankers, they are still at the construction yard trying to find the boys, seeing as, unsurprisingly, that noise led them nowhere. They kept looking every single place for them, but once again, nothing or no one was found at all.

"Where the heck are they? They did go here, I know if! Plus, I wanna pound that jerk who slammed the door on us!" Marie shouted, frustrated.

"Maybe if you shut your little mouth, we'd have those 4, now shut up and find them! But nooo, always gotta be the intimidating one, you moron!" Lee said, punching Marie directly in the face, making her fall over. In the former point of view, this could've been avoided if the latter didn't cause that slight scene that wasn't even necessary, like... at all. Marie gets back up, and she would've retaliated back at Lee, but she reluctantly decided not to, finding what they were currently doing more important.

"But Lee, weve looked around everywhere, and they aren't here!" said May, who wasn't sure that they would even find them at this rate.

Lee eventually decided to stop looking around, as she was also very tired, and it's clear that the boys outsmarted them this time.

"Girls! We are leaving. They'll never know what we got for them!" Lee said, chuckling a bit.

With that, Lee gets her sisters together, and decide to head back to their trailer, to prep for their next move on the boys, as their business isn't exactly over yet. Far from it, as a matter of fact.

Now what?
