"Wait! J-just . . . ! There isn't . . . ! Jenny, I can't!" the Doctor stuttered, completely helpless.
"I'll have to manage on my own. Watch and learn, Father!" Jenny said with a smile. She stepped back and took a running jump toward the lasers. She flew through the air, twisting and swerving between the lasers.
The Doctor and Donna watched in shock. Jenny curved over the last laser, righted herself, and landed in front of the Doctor.
"No way! But that was impossible!" Donna exclaimed.
"Not impossible. Just a bit unlikely!" the Doctor said. He hugged his daughter, smiling proudly.
The Doctor and Donna heard shooting in the distance.
Jenny ran up to them. "They've blasted through the beams, time to run again. Love the running! Yeah?"
"Love the running," the Doctor answered.
They smiled at each other before running.
"Love the flying, yeah?" the Doctor said.
"Love the flying!" Jenny agreed.
They each grabbed one of Donna's hands and flew into the air. Donna wasn't so heavy with another person helping the Doctor carry her. She seemed surprised and a little nervous at first, but she liked it. The Doctor was having more fun than he thought possible, flying side by side with someone. Flying side by side with his daughter.
Jenny sat in the shuttle, ready to blast off.
"But where are you going?!" Cline asked.
"Oh, I've got the whole universe!" she answered, "Planets to save, civilizations to rescue, creatures to defeat . . . and an awful lot of flying to do!" She shot into the sky, a huge smile on her face.
