27th November Corey POV
"Yes, yes it its" Andy answered, pinching the bridge of his nose as the rest of us started laughing.
"Aww come on Andy, you got two beautiful babies out of it though" I smiled
"Yes I know that" Andy smiled, while looking over at me "Wait a minuet" Andy looked me up and down and grinned "you Don't have a jumper on"
"No, I was just telling Ash and Marilyn since it was just all of us here I didn't need to wear a jumper" I smiled looking up at Chris who was grinning from ear to ear, moving his hand to rest on my stomach,
"Aww guys" Lily smiled, her camera ever present round her neck holding it up and taking a quick picture of Chris and I
"So we only have a few months of school left, how are we going to celebrate the end of the year?" Jake asked coming over to join us
"We could have another party here?" I asked "Since both Frankie and I will have had the babies at by then"
"Yeah! That could be a plan! We could invite Gerard, Frank, Ray, Mikey, Iris, James and Charlie?" Chris questioned still resting his head on mine,
"Sounds like a good plan! I know my mum would have no issue baby sitting for me and Jer" Frankie smiled walking over with Jeremy
"Neither would Amanda for us, and I'm pretty sure your dad wouldn't mind Mar" I smiled over at Mar who nodded in agreement
"So it's settled then" I laughed "Party at the tree house for graduation"
"What's settled for graduation?" Darian asked coming over and placing his arm round Lily's waist
"We're having a graduation party at the tree house" Lily smiled up at Darian
"Oh cool! I should be able to make it, I will have sat all my exams by then" Darian smiled kissing the top of Lily's head as she smiled and leaned into him,
"Hey CC?" Ashley asked looking above my head
"Hmmm?" Chris smiled looking over at him
"Are you putting music on?" Ashley laughed pointing to the speaker
"Oh right! I forgot" Chris smiled unwrapping himself from me and walking over to connect his phone to the speaker, not long after Metallica sand man started playing, Chris walked back over to me
"I'm going to get a drink baby, do you want anything?" Chris smiled
"Yeah, just water please" I Smiled, Chris nodded walking over to the kiddie pool that was filled with drinks, talking to Andy and Jeremy on the way over
"So guys are you excited to have your babies?" Mar smiled looking at Frankie and Me; Frankie nodded her head and looked towards me
"I am excited. I Really can't wait for him to get here but I can't help but worry at the same time" I frowned "I have no doubt in my mind that he will be safe but I can't help but worry, I mean everything coming to light with Brent and the way he acted in school today, its just weird"
"Corey I do have a question" Marilyn stated, I looked towards my older brother, Ashley was stood at one side and Lily on the other
"Yeah?" I Smiled taking the bottle of water from Chris as he came back to join us
"Well, you and Brent, now you two started hanging out in secret back when you where all 14 right?" Marilyn asked, I nodded "And you only slept together once?" Again I nodded "Well, I just don't understand how he would have gotten so hung up on the idea that he was in love with you" Marilyn finished.
"Marilyn, Man come on do we have to talk about this" Chris frowned at my brother "Corey doesn't need to go through this again"
"No Chris she doesn't, but I just don't understand is all, I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable Corey, you know that?" Marilyn asked looking at me, I nodded, taking Chris's hand, I smiled up at him
"Chris its okay" I smiled, "I don't want to go into to much detail as it is not my business to share" I stated looking round the small group
"Basically on the day it happened I was sat outside the school at the big oak tree, you all had started to couple up and I was feeling a bit left out so I went there to be alone and get my English assignment finished, I took a break to have a fag and Brent came over and asked for one, he sat with me and we started talking, I told him why I wasn't hanging out with you guys and he asked if I wanted to go for a walk, I did question it at first but went anyway, we played 20 questions, got to know each other a bit better, after that we hung over nearly every day after school, you guys didn't notice much to start with since you where all in the honeymoon period of your relationships" I smiled "we got along really well, he walked me home that first night we hung out, waiting till I was in the door before he left, when I walked in Amanda actually told me that Chris had came to the door and asked if I wanted to come join you guys" I smiled up at Chris "I didn't tell you guys because I assumed that you's would convince me not to be friends with him, then after the night we slept together we still hung out and everything was fine, I told him about Chris, he told me about girls he was going on dates with, but it all changed once I told him me and Chris where in a relationship, he cancelled plans, stopped answering my calls, and then started to harass us again, like I told you before, I pulled him into the art room and we had and argument.." I trailed off as they knew the rest
"So do you think he developed feeling because you where nice to him?" Ashley asked
"It's a bit more complicated Ash, I'd rather not go into It, I do know I never gave any other indication I was even interested in a relationship with him, even when I told him I was dating Chris he seemed fine, I told him it wouldn't get in the way of our friendship" I frowned looking to the ground "I dunno, its done now anyway, nothing else he can do or say is going to effect my life now or my future, if he ever wants to be friends again in the future I have no doubt that I would welcome that with open arms"
"I don't understand how you can stay so positive" Lily laughed "I mean you seem to have had a worse time with the bullying then we have but you always been so happy and positive about everything"
"No use being focused on the bad when there's so much good to look forward to" I grinned they walked to go sit by the fire "Chris?"
"Yes baby?" Chris smiled down at me
"I think, given what I just said, we should tell people about the baby" I smiled, Chris's eyes lit up, giving me a thousand watt smile
"Baby that would be brilliant!" Chris smiled but then looked serious "What about Brent?"
"What about him? I think given what happened at school today no one is going to question you staying with me" I smiled.
"As long as you're sure hunny!" Chris smiled leaning down to kissing my forehead,
"I am sure Chris" I smiled taking his had and pulling him with me "Come on lets go sit next to the fire"
"Hey guys!" Chris yelled to everyone "Me and Corey have decided to make it public about the baby"
"Aww guys that's brilliant" Frankie grinned
Jeremy stood up and walked over to me and smiled, wrapping me in a hug "I'm so proud of you"
"Thanks Jeremy" I smiled into his shoulder before he pulled away and shook Chris's hand,
I sat down next to lily while Chris sat at the other side of me and smiled to myself as I looked round my family, I was so happy how my life was turning out, the guys had a successful band we all had so much more to look forward to.
I smiled and lay my head on Chris's shoulder while he was talking to Darian, I turned to my sister and smiled
"Hey Lily?" Lily looked at me "Yeah Corey" She smiled back
"What do you think will happen at school when I go in without anything covering my bump" I asked
"I don't think anything will happen Corey, we're all here to make sure nothing happens to you and Frankie" Lily smiled
"I suppose, Monday will be interesting then" I laughed, Chris and Darian had moved to the drinks table looking at what they could use as shots,
Ash and Marilyn where in a deep conversation by the looks of it, I would have to ask them later, Frankie was laughing with Lacey, Jeremy, Andy and Jake where all stood under the treehouse talking about the new album they have coming out..
Monday 29th of November
Still Corey POV
"I dunno if I'm ready" I whispered to Chris as we parked the car outside of the school, the gang stood at the front doors waiting for us, my heart was beating hard in my chest, my palms where sweating, I looked up at Chris who smiled at me
"Don't worry Corey everything will be fine" He smiled kissing the back of my hand,
I looked down at myself, I had on one of the black veil brides t-shirts which was moulded round my bump a pair of purple maternity leggings, my black docs, and a red zip jumper which was currently undone, my long dark blue hair was up in a pony tail leaving a couple strands framing my face, heavy black eye liner and a nude lipstick, I looked at Chris and smiled, stepping slowly out the car, feeling panic rise in the pit of my stomach, Chris came and wrapped his arm round my waist and guided me to the doors, taking deep breaths I looked up at everyone
"Morning all" Chris smiled, arm still securely wrapped round my waist,
"Morning, how are you both feeling?" Lily asked giving me a once over
"Well apart from the fact I feel like I am going to throw up, yeah I'm good" I smiled, Lily, Mar and Frankie laughed
"Girl don't worry you will be fine" Frankie smiled taking my hand "come on, lets go in"
I followed behind Frankie, sticking close to Chris as we walked to our lockers, no one had seemed to notice anything different yet, keeping my head up I walked to my locker, turning slightly to open it taking of my hoodie I placed it inside while removing my books that I would need before lunch,
Chris was currently pulling his books from his locker and turned to me and smiled before closing his locker and taking my hand again while we walked to home room, James and Charlie already seated at the desk next to mine and Chris's
"Hey Corey! CC!" Charlie smiled jumping up and hugging us, I had been avoiding physical contact so I think Charlie was surprised when I let her hug be and I hugged her back, she pulled away looking slightly puzzled before looking down between us and looked back up at me
"Oh my god Corey!" She yelled throwing her arms round me again
"What?" James asked looking up at us
I smiled and turned to the side showing my 6 month baby bump before turning to look at James
"Wow guys! Congratulations" James smiled
"Thanks Man" Chris smiled reaching out to shake his hand,
We sat behind our desk as the rest of the class piled in, no one paying attention any of us in the back
"Cassandra can you come here please?" Mr Adams smiled looking at me
"Uh yes sir" I Smiled standing to walk to the front of the room, looking at Chris as I stood to walk, the whole class had turned to look at me some people looked shocked however almost everyone looked confused, I walked down to Mr Adams desk as people in the room started to whisper
"What's up Mr Adams?" I asked as he motioned for me to sit at the other side of the desk
"I just wanted to discuss the situation with Brent in a bit more detail, I have informed your first period teacher about this as I'm not sure when you will be arriving to class, I have also arranged it with Christians teacher also since I will need to discuss what happened with you both" Mr Adams explained "So can you tell me what happened on Friday morning"
"There isn't really much to tell you Sir" I shrugged "he dragged me to the room for a chat, we argued, you and Chris came in, that's all"
"See I think there is more to this Cassandra" Mr Adams frowned
"What do you mean sir?" I asked, feeling slightly confused
"Well, I know I am new to this school however I have heard that Brent has been bullying you and you friends for a while, that there was also an assault in the school before summer vacation in which Brent ended up with a concision after Christian repeatedly hit him against a wall, however when Brent was asked why he done this Brent had stated he didn't know" Mr Adams explained
"Well sir that particular day Brent was saying some pretty homophobic things towards my brother and Ashley, Brent and Ashley started fighting, Frankie tried to pull Ash off Brent and when I bent down to help him up he punched me in the stomach, so Chris pulled him off the ground and pinned him to the wall asking why he punched me when I was trying to help him up, Brent then revealed he had set up a group of boys to attack me a year prior to this which cause me to miscarry, Chris freaked out and started slamming Brent off the wall before we could get him to stop, after that we tried to avoid Brent, which worked for the most part, he then made a vague threat against Andy and Mar's twins, so Andy decked him, and he left us alone mostly, until Monday when he called us freaks, I told him to grow up he called me a slut and then he dragged me to one of the empty class rooms when you wanted to speak with Chris" I finished explaining, Mr Adams looked lost in thought for a moment
"Okay, so I understand that" Mr Adams stated as the bell rang, Chris came and sat down next to me while I explained that for a time Brent and I had developed a friendship,
"Okay, one more Question for you Cassandra before I need to discuss with you Christian, before we came running into the room you shouted at Brent to stop, which is how we figured out which room you where in, what was Brent doing?" Mr Adams asked, his voice remained calm but is dark green eyes stern,
"He..uh, well I don't know what he was going to" I lied
"No! Sir he was going to rape her" Chris stated next to me, I turned to look at Chris, who kept his eyes straight ahead, I could feel anger bubble up inside me
"And how do you know this Christian?" Mr Adams asked moving his gaze from me to Chris
"Corey told me, Andy and Jinxx once you took Brent and left the room" Chris told him, keeping his eyes locked forward
"Is this true Corey?" Mr Adams asked turning back to me, I gave one last glare to the side of Chris's head before turning back to Mr Adams,
"Yes, sir…but I don't even know if that is what was going to happen, he said you where mine first, and then leaned in to try and kiss me, he was pulling at the hem of my jumper but I don't think he would have actually done anything" I answered honestly looking at Mr Adams
"Well this is the what if situation Cassandra, what if me and Christian had not heard you shout, none of us know what would have happened" Mr Adams stated looking between Chris and I and smiled, "Anyway, I think this is all I need from both of you, now Brent is on a in school suspension and will not be in any classes, however he will still be permitted to the lunch hall, I must ask that you both keep your distance from him if you do see him"
"Yes sir" both Chris and I replied
"No off you go to class, second period should just be starting " Mr Adams smiled walking us to the door, once we where out of ear shot I turned to Chris "Why?! Why did you tell him that?" I asked
"Because Corey he needed to know" Chris stopped and looked at me taking my hand, I looked up at his face, he looked sad "Corey I don't think you understand how worried I was for you" Chris paused for a second before placing a hand on my bump "For both of you, I have never felt fear like that, I had to tell Mr Adams what you told me, because I cannot risk that happening to you again"
"Chris I know you where scared, trust me, I was to, but I don't know what was actually going to happen, you came bursting into that room before anything could" I Smiled, moving my hand and placing it on his cheek, he leaned his face into my hand "But its still not fair to accuse him for something that never happened"
"I suppose your right" Chris sighed, I took his hand as we walked to class, as we where walking I could hear people start to whisper, I kept my head held high, as did Chris, standing outside of our English class Chris smiled at me, opening the door the teacher nodded as we both took our seats in front of Lacey and Frankie, I turned to look at them
"So, what's the damage?" I asked looking round the room
"Well from what I can tell people are talking about what went down between you and Brent and that we as a group have a pregnancy pack" Frankie smirked at the last part "They are now placing bets on who ends up pregnant before the end of term"
"Oh wow, so what are people saying happened between me and Brent" I asked looking round the room, glaring at two girls who where staring at me before looking back to Frankie who looked slightly reserved
"Frankie, what is it?" I asked
"Well..now don't get mad" Her eyes flicked to Chris "Either of you, but the rumours are that you and Brent had an affair and you where arguing about that…" Frankie trailed off
"Frankie" Chris groaned "Come on, tell us"
"Well…that Brent thought the baby was his and that's why you where fighting" Frankie looked at Chris while she said this
"Are you fucking joking?" I laughed
"This is funny?" Lacey asked looking at me
"Of course it is! Why would anyone think that?" I asked wiping a tear from my eye
"I just thought you would be angry about it" Frankie stated,
"Frankie its ridiculous, like why would anyone believe that?" Chris smirked
"I know that, but I just thought after everything you two would be pissed" Frankie smiled, clearly relived.
"No, definitely not pissed off" I smiled pulling out my English book as the class started,
As I was writing my practise Essay I heard those two girls whispering again, I looked towards Chris who was oblivious to their conversation
"Do you think it's true?"
"I doubt it, those two have been together forever, they are always together, she moved, he moves, they gravitate towards each other there's no way" I smiled at this
"Yeah but her and Brent where always fighting, always! Wouldn't surprise me, didn't you hear what happened on Friday morning?"
"No, what?"
"they had a huge fight in the hall before homeroom, well I heard Brent called her a slut and then her boyfriend stepped in and told Brent to stop staring at her, and then after first period Mr Adams found both Cassandra and Brent in one of the empty class rooms together, apparently they where arguing, and then today she comes in with a full blown baby bump, Mel said that's what they must have been fighting about"
"What? the baby?"
"Yeah! Mel said that Brent must have thought it was his"
"Yeah but Mel is one of the biggest drama queens at this school, why would Brent even go for her, I mean she's part of that gothy crowed, he's not into that" I laughed to myself hearing this.
"So? One thing you can say is that they are a group of good looking people"
"Yeah that's true, I just couldn't imagine Brent and Cassandra having an affair, and I doubt they would go near each other"
"You never know, stranger things have happened"
"Yeah…" the other girl trailed off and I looked back at my work and realised I had not done anything for the full class because I was to busy listening to those two girls. Great
The bell rang waking me from my daze; I packed away my stuff standing out my seat taking Chris's hand as we walked to our next class.
"Can you believe she has the nerve to show herself" I heard a girl snigger, Chris's head whipped round and he glared at them
"And why wouldn't she?" he asked glaring at the two girls from the year below
"Well….Since she..uh… got Brent suspended for trying to keep his baby from him" She stuttered, I laughed, Chris glared
"Right lets get one thing straight!" Chris shouted so everyone in the hall could hear "Corey and Brent where not fighting because this is his baby, we live together, spend every minute of the day together, Corey and Brent have never slept together, this is my baby, my son, my family, it has nothing to do with Brent, the fact you are all so quick to defend him and made Corey out to be the bad one here is a joke! Brent attacked my fiancé in the halls and then dragged her to an empty class room and they argued, that's it, there is no hidden motive in this"
I smiled as Chris who leaned down and kissed me, wrapping one arm round my back and the other resting on the side of my bump; I pulled away and smiled at Chris again who lead the way to the next class,
"Well that was quite the show CC" Andy smirked coming to sit behind us
"just thought I would set the record straight" Chris laughed turning and smiling and Andy as Jeremy came and sat next to him and the teacher started the lesson, I smiled over at Chris getting my text book out as Mr Adams came to the door,
"Hello, can I just borrow Cassandra please Mrs Wayland?" Mr Adams asked
"Yes of course, Cassandra" Mrs Wayland looked over at me, I looked over to Chris and Andy before packing up my stuff and following him out the room
"Sir what's going on?" I asked following him
"we need to have a chat Cassandra, I need a bit more history about you and Brent as it seems there is some rumours going around that need to be addressed" he stated motioning for me to follow him
"Yes sir, I understand there is but I don't understand why it needs to be addressed or why something that is none of the schools business needs to be discussed" I stated following him back to home room "plus the school never bothers with rumours before"
"Well in this case it's different given your fragile state" Mr Adams answered
"My fragile state? Are you kidding me" I laughed "Sir I might be pregnant but I am in no way fragile"
"That may be Cassandra but to fully understand why this has escalated we need a full understanding" Mr Adam's stated grabbing a note pad from his drawer "so can you tell me your history with Brent
I relayed to Mr Adams my whole past with Brent which he noted down in his pad, pausing and asking me to repeat at certain points, when it came to telling him about the camping trip I faltered, Mr Adams looked up from his page, pen stilled on the page
"Cassandra?" He questioned
"Sorry sir but this next part is a bit personal" I muttered, feeling my face heat up
"Regardless Cassandra I'm sorry but I need to know" Mr Adams smiled reassuringly at me
"Fine we got drunk and had sex" I told him, my face heated up even more and, I felt mortified as disclosing this
"Right…what happened next?" Mr Adams cleared his through clearly uncomfortable as I finished telling him up until I got attacked, feeling my eyes tear up slightly, Mr Adams looked up and passed me a tissue before I continued
"I had just left Chris's house, we had been discussing when to tell our friends and family about her, since I was just over 5 months it was to late for them to try and make us get rid of her since we where only just turning 16 and I was walking through the field and these boys who I had never met before started to follow me, I just ignored them till they started calling my name, I tried to run but they caught up with me…" I looked at Mr Adams, "please don't make me continue" I whispered
"No Cassandra, of course, you don't need to continue" Mr Adams put his hand over mine in a reassuring gesture "thank you for telling me all this Cassandra, I have sent an email to Mrs Wayland asking for Christian to come get you for lunch, now about the rumours, why do people seem to think this is Brent's baby?"
"Honestly sir I have no idea, no one knows about our past" I shrugged.
"Okay Cassandra, thank you for this" Mr Adams smiled handing me another tissue,
"Thank you Sir" I Smiled up at him just as Chris walked through the door
"Corey, is everything okay?" Chris asked rushing to my side
"Yeah babe, everything is fine, just got a bit emotional" I laughed wiping my nose, "lets go get some food, I'm starving"
Chris held out his hand for me to take and followed him out the door to meet all our friends for lunch.
