If the Doctor Could Fly: Season 4

How would episodes or scenes change if the Doctor could fly? It's only a collection of short sections of episodes, but through all the seasons a cohesive storyline emerges as the Doctor discovers more and more about the power of flight. This takes almost encyclopedic knowledge of each episode to appreciate it to its fullest, but that kind of knowledge isn't necessary to enjoy it.

6. Chapter 6: The Stolen Earth

Donna looked away, thinking. She looked behind the Doctor and a small smile appeared on her face. "Why don't you ask her yourself?"

The Doctor gave her a strange look, then turned around. There was Rose, standing at the other end of the street, smiling joyfully. The Doctor stared at her, unable to believe his eyes. Rose ran to him. The Doctor ran to her. His face broke into a wide grin and his feet lifted off the ground. He flew toward her, unable to believe she was really there. Rose's feet lifted off the ground and she flew to him. Their faces shone with joy and they spread their arms toward each other.

"Exterminate!"

The Doctor looked in shock as a Dalek shot at him. The beam skimmed his chest and he fell to the ground and slid to a stop. Captain Jack appeared and blasted the Dalek to pieces while Rose flew and Donna ran to the Doctor. Rose stumbled as she landed and knelt beside the Doctor.
