CHAPTER TWENTY ONE: Everything or Nothing
Jenna was again found herself confined to the shop/club's premises with Piney looking out for her while the Sons figured out if the drive by at Sack's wake was retaliation. If she wasn't at the shop, she was at Opie's. He wasn't telling her anything. It was always "it's club business" and that they would "take care of it".
The next day, Jenna seen the Son's attorney, Ally Lowen pull up and Clay, Piney, and Chibs talked with her for a minute. Clay looked back at the office at Jenna and she knew it wasn't good. A few hours later, SAMCRO had a meeting and the guys all came out and she met them outside. She kissed Opie and Jax came up to her.
"I need you to go with me tomorrow to get Gemma." Jax told me. "She's at her dad's."
"She went to stay with grandma and grandpa?"
"Just grandpa." He told me. "Grandma's dead."
"Oh." Jenna said with sadness in her voice. "That hurts a little, even though I didn't know her that well."
Opie wrapped an arm around me.
"Want to take me home?" Jenna asked Opie.
"Sure."
She said bye to her brother and Opie and Jenan walked to his bike. He slipped on his helmet and she slipped on hers and wrapped her arms around him as he started up the bike. After they pulled up at his house, he got into his truck and picked up the kids. She went inside and made dinner and smiled at the thought of them being like a real family.
After feeding the kids, watching a little t.v. and getting them ready for bed, Opie sat down with her on the couch.
"In the manuscript, JT said that the only way for an old lady to be happy is to tell her everything or tell her nothing at all…"
"Yeah, I know…I read it." Jenna told him. "So are you finally going to tell me everything or nothing?"
"Everything." He said looking at her.
He filled her in on Abel maybe being in Canada, the deal with the Chinese falling through, his disagreement with Jax when she first got back to Charming, Clay having Tig kill Donna because of the ATF bitch setting him up making him looking like a rat and his plan to take the agent responsible for Donna's death out. The club's plan to go to Vancouver to look for Abel and the plan to take Gemma and hide her out there. Jenna sat there quietly taking everything in.
"Now you know everything."
She grabbed his face and pulled him to her for a passionate kiss. He picked her up and took her down the hall to the bedroom and kicked the door closed with his foot.
The next day she rode up to Gemma's dad's on the back of Jax's bike. The rest of SAMCRO headed north to help Happy with some favor. Clay, Jax, and Jenna got off the bikes and got a rude welcoming from Gemma's dad.
"Some welcome." Jenna said.
Jax shrugged. She soon found out that Tara and Gemma had killed Nate's caregiver and Tig called in the cleaner to take care of it. Clay and Jax was pissed.
"You two are killing me." Tig told Tara and Gemma.
Jenna giggled. She loved Tiggy.
They packed up Nate's things and Gemma was going to take him to a retirement home. He couldn't care for himself, especially now that he had dementia. She rode with Tara, Gemma, and Nate as they pulled up at the retirement home.
A few minutes later, they found that Gemma had taken Tara's car, leaving the two women at the retirement home.
"Damnit, Gemma." Tara said calling Opie.
The guys pulled up and the girls got on the back of their boyfriend's bikes and they headed back to Charming.
They were pulling up to the shop and seen Gemma and Tara's car. Immediately Gemma collapsed on the cement.
"Mom!" Jax and Jenna said running up to her.
