Chapter 1 That Kid From Colorado

(Kari narrating…) Exactly just one year later after the events with Malomyotismon and Oikawa, and two years before our encounter with Meiko, Meicoomon, Dark Gennai, and our great battle with Odinemon. We could have never guessed, dreamed, or even digitally imagined what was lurking just around the corner that Daemon had secretly planned for us digi destined… The dark digi destined… Known as, "The Unspoken Ones…"

OH, MY, DIGIMON… They're here! They're FINALLY here! The new Digimon digital pets are at the toy store! A young boy said to his mother jumping with extreme joy as they both walked down town. Oh WOW! You can digivolve Black Agumon to Black Wargreymon, and the V-Pet keychains come in brick red, grey, yellow, green, and purple mom! The boy said with intrigued amazement. And there are more colors coming! The boy added with a huge cheerful face.. Mom can I please get one of those and the Digimon World game for my birthday this year!? The boy asked his mother with super cute puppy eyes. Well umm, I guess so the boy's mother replied. The conversation caught the attention of Willis's ears as he walked the streets of New York City. Black Wargreymon… Willis muttered to himself. I remember what Davis told me about the great sacrifice he made for our world in the email he sent me last year, wish I could have met him Willis said in thought to himself sadly… I wonder how all the others are doing..? Willis asked himself, I should see if I can take a trip to Japan and see all of them! He said to both of his twin Digimon, Terriermon and Lopmon as he held them in his arms like stuffed animals. Hey Willis can we get something to eat!? Terriermon and Lopmon both asked cutely at the same time. Yeah sure, Willis replied very politely. We'll have to get something quick and easy because I gotta get home or my mom will snap at me again! Lopmon replied with that's why I call her ginger snaps, because she's sweet and then BOOM there she blows! Willis chuckled a bit at that. Willis, Lopmon, and Terriermon all sat under a big tree in Central Park and munched on French fries and chicken nuggets while all three of them shared a large chocolate milkshake. "Yummy, yummy, yummy we got food in our tummies and now were happy Digimon!". Terriermon and Lopmon both sang together. Okay guys we gotta get back home Willis said assertively. Lopmon and Terriermon both nodded in approval.

A loud ear piercing scream came from a girl as Willis and his twin Digimon were on their way back home. Willis it's a Digimon! Lopmon said pointing at a large movie poster on the brick wall of the street. The Digimon movie is coming out soon I can't wait to see it! The screaming girl said with excitement. Willis then asked the girl there's a Digimon movie coming out? The girl replied, like yeah you didn't hear about it!? It's called Battle of the Dark Masters! The girl said cheerfully out loud. It's going to be so good the girl said. Willis, Terriermon, and Lopmon all look dumbfounded at each other. The three of them all made their way back home and rested in Willis's room. I should email Davis and tell him that I am thinking about coming to Japan for a vacation Willis said. It won't be until summer break but that's only three months away! Willis said happily. Then Willis got the thought of staying long term. Hey Mom! My Aunt and Uncle are working in living in Japan right!? Willis asked his mother while smirking through his cracked door. Yes Willis' Mother replied with a look of knowing what was on his mind. I suppose you can stay with them for a while just let me work things out with your school and I'll call my brother and sister in law about letting you stay with them. Your a good kid, and they haven't seen you in a long time so I'm sure it will be an instant yes Willis"s mother said. Thanks mom I'm so lucky to have you! Willis said as he hugged her tightly. Umm sweety, you got some sweet n' sour sauce and chocolate milkshake on your chin his mother said laughing. Willis looked at his mother with semi shocked eyes. Lopmon and Terriermon both peeked through Willis's bedroom door with smiles on their faces. Willis then headed back to his room filled with tremendous joy. Willis then got on is computer and messaged Davis the news of him coming to stay and visit with the other digi destined in Japan. Terriermon asked Willis, do they have pizza in Japan? Yes I'm sure they pizza he replied while patting Terriermon on the head softly… Lopmon then perked up and said I bet they put wasabi on their pizza over there! Terriermon looked at Lopmon and rolled his eyes. Okay you guys, email has been set and now it's time for digi bed time Willis said. Willis and his twin Digimon got into bed and Lopmon and Terriermon both pulled Willis's blanket over all three of them and fell asleep.

The next morning Willis's Numemon alarm clocked went off, and him and his twin Digimon all woke up at once and all three of them headed out of Willis's bedroom for the bathroom. Oh my goodness… Willis's mother said shockingly as she sat on the couch while watching the national news. What is it..? Willis asked with deep worry. There are strange glowing large purple clouds appearing in the sky, all over the world she told Willis. Willis then asked all over the world..? Even Japan? Yes his mother said, but they don't know why they are suddenly appearing out of the blue like that. It seems to be a strange global phenomena she said with a little chuckle. But it doesn't seem to be a big deal Willis's mother said to him with a positive look on her face… Oh sweety his mother said with a very happy tonality. I talked to your Aunt and Uncle last night they said it was perfectly fine to live with them in Japan for a while! They have a big Japanese house and your Aunt Eva is off work for a while so she can take care of you while your Uncle Wallace works. Willis's mother said with joy. Your Aunt Eva is part Japanese and I'm sure her family members would all love to meet you, his mother said with a sweet voice. Just remember while you are there the same house rules apply as they do here, Willis's mother said to him with a slight snappy yet nice tonality. That's why I call her ginger snaps… Lopmon whispered to Terriermon while they were coming out of the bathroom and heading towards Willis's bedroom. Keep your voice down… Terriermon said to Lopmon, that's his mommy you gotta respect her ya know! Hey sweety the weekend is coming up let's do something fun! Willis's mother said to him while springing from the couch. Willis asked, well what do you have in mind mom!? I was thinking we should take a trip to Colorado and see the Grand Canyon like we used to when you were little remember!? OH YEAH! That would be great Willis said jumping with joy! We can also visit your father while we're there since he's in the area promoting his book, Willis's mother said with her fists clenched ready for action.

Willis clenched his fists in the same manner and him and his mother looked into each others eyes with intense happiness. Soon the week days passed and the weekend came and Willis and his mother packed their backs for Colorado. While in Willis's room, Terriermon noticed Lopmon had a look of slight sadness on his face… Terriermon then whispered to Willis and pointed at Lopmon. Willis came over to Lopmon and said I know buddy… It's in the past and that virus is gone, it wasn't your fault Lopmon, it was NEVER your fault okay, Willis said to Lopmon hugging him close. Terriermon added more comfort to Lopmon by telling him if it was vice versa you would have kicked my butt had I gotten infected with that virus! Lopmon looked at Terriermon with smile and laughed, then said yeah your right I would have digitized you! Willis and his twin Digimon all laughed and fell onto the floor of Willis's bedroom. Alright it's time to gets this show on the road! Willis's mother said aloud. Okay mom, Willis answered. Come on you guys Willis said to his twin Digimon, it's gonna be a long trip and I packed a bunch of snacks! HURRAY! Terriermon and Lopmon shouted at the same time. "We're going to Colorado! We're going to Colorado!" Willis's twin Digimon both sang as they headed out of Willis's bedroom. After hours of flying from New York City and finally arriving in Denver Colorado. Willis, his mother, and his twin Digimon were picked up by Willis's mother's sister Kiki, and drove them to her house. On the way to Kiki's house Willis asked, Aunt Kiki do you have a computer at home..? Willis's mother slightly glared at Willis from the rear view window looking annoyed. Willis said you know what, forget what I said… Kiki let out a small laugh knowing that her sister doesn't like Willis spending so much time on the computer at home. Actually I do! Kiki said while looking at Willis's mother with sympathetic eyes… Willis's mother said fine just don't spend too much time on it while were on vacation, we're only here for the weekend ya know!

Willis said I just want to keep in touch with Davis once in a while. His mother said I know with slight annoyance… Kiki said oh by the way Willis I read your fathers book! It's really good! Kiki said with enthusiasm. Willis's then asked his mother, dad is staying at the hotel correct..? He was, his Aunt Kiki replied, but now he's at my humble home of KIKI! Willis, his mother, and his Aunt Kiki all laughed loudly in the car. Lopmon and Terriermon both looked at each other with what the heck eyes while sitting in Willis's lap. We're here! Kiki said. Now let's get out of this darn car and head inside! Kiki said cheerfully. Willis got out of the car and paused, Willis said to himself I haven't seen dad in months…. I wonder if he is still mad at for breaking his guitar..? I know it was expensive but he couldn't play worth a digi tune… Willis grabbed his backpack and duffle bag while holding both of his twin Digimon in his arms. Kiki opened the door of her house and shouted, OH ROBERT! YOUR WIFE AND YOUR SON ARE HERE! Robert then rushed out from the living room. Thanks for picking them up from the airport Kiki, Robert said nicely. Anything for my brother in law! Kiki said with joy. Amy honey, it's been so long but you know I've been on the road promoting my book on other dimensions. Robert said to Willis's mother. Hey Robert oh I know your son loves bragging to his friends on the net about your book, Amy replied with slight annoyance. At least your racking in those cash stacks Amy said chuckling. Robert then looked at Willis, noticing he was being very distant… Robert ran to Willis and gave him a big hug and whispered in his ear it's okay son, you were right I couldn't play worth a digi tune. Willis looked at his dad with a happy face, then said wooh glad were over that now! Willis and Robert both laughed. Lopmon and Terriermon looked at each other and both sighed with relief. Come on let's eat! Kiki said aloud. Yeah yummy, yummy time Willis's twin Digimon both said in sync with agreement.

After Willis, His Aunt Kiki, and his mother and father finished eating dinner at the table. Willis asked his dad, are other dimensions besides the digital world..? Robert replied, it's just a theory son that's all my book is about the theory of other dimensions. Willis then brought up the news his mother told him. What do you think about the strange glowing large purple clouds appearing all over the world dad? Willis asked with seriousness in his voice. I have know idea his father replied, it's probably just a rare weather phenomena…. Oh well okay then, Willis said with a dejected voice. Well it's getting late Willis mother said, we should get unpacked and get ready for our adventure tomorrow! Everyone agreed, and then got settled for the night. Willis took his belongings and headed up to the attic of his Aunt Kiki's home with Terriermon and Lopmon following behind him. Just like old times huh guys Willis said playfully, remember when we used to camp up here when we stayed at my Aunts house when I was little? Lopmon said yup sure do and it's just as dusty as I remember it! Willis looked at Lopmon with funny eyes. Everyone fell asleep and slept with nothing but the sound of crickets chirping outside. The next morning, Willis and his twin Digimon came down from the dusty attic and could smell the breakfast that his Aunt Kiki was making in the kitchen. Is that my Aunt Kiki's famous breakfast bake I smell? Willis asked with enlightenment. You know it is! Kiki said with laughter. Same old Aunt Kiki, Willis said with joy. Your mother went with your father into the city to help him get some inspiration for his next book! Kiki said with excitement. I wonder what your father is going to write about this time... BOOM! A huge explosion came from outside from the sky! WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT!? Kiki said while being shook very scared. A loud scream from the sky followed after! Willis looked at his Digimon and all three nodded knowing it was an evil Digimon then rushed out the door! Willis said sorry Aunt Kiki, but duty calls! Kiki just stood there in the kitchen with a shocked and puzzled look on her face, and said whelp looks like breakfast is over…

Willis and his Digimon ran towards the city with extreme panic, knowing in their hearts the evil Digimon was most likely going to attack Denver. You know it's better to be safe than sorry, so in that case Lopmon, Terriermon, please digivolve! Willis said loudly! His twin Digimon both agreed, then Willis's digivice started vibrating and beeping loudly while the screen of his digivice also glowed bright green! Terriermon and Lopmon both then digivolved together in sync! "Terriermon digivolve to Gargomon! Lopmon digivolve to Endigomon!" His twin Digimon shouted. Willis and his now champion level Digimon were racing to Denver while Willis was riding on Endigomon's back! When Willis and his digivolved Digimon arrived in the city, they noticed that some buildings had been damaged and all of the civilians had nothing but the look of great fear on their faces and we're running like mice! Then quickly flying in towards them came a Digimon! Gargomon said oh no that's Neo Devimon! He's a very evil ultimate level Digimon! Endigomon said yes he's right, he's a BIG ginger snap if ya know what I mean! Is that so Willis said with battle ready eyes… Do you guys think you can take him together!? Willis asked his Digimon. Maybe we can Endigomon said well being unsure. Well give it all you got! Willis said with confidence. Gargomon then said to Neo Devimon, you ruined our breakfast morning! Then Endigomon added, yeah so now we're gonna bring home your bacon and FRY IT UP IN A PAN! Neo Devimon had a look of confusion on his face. The three Digimon all started to engage in battle! Gargomon attacked first, GATLING ARM! Then Endigomon soon after, HOWLING DESTROYER! Both of Willis's Digimon hit Neo Devimon with great impact! A huge cloud of smoke appeared where Neo Devimon was hit with the blasts. The smoke then cleared, and Neo Devimon appeared staggered, now then hit him with everything you got! Willis shouted to his Digimon. Gargomon and Endigomon attacked again with same attacks! But then out of nowhere an attack from an unfamiliar Digimon was heard.

TRICK OR TREAT WALLACE! A barrage of pumpkins came down from the sky, surrounding Neo Devimon and exploded all at once! The blast from the pumpkins was so powerful that it knocked Gargomon and Endigomon backwards towards Willis! The smoke from the large blast soon cleared, and a dapper looking Digimon dressed in a white suit and with a Jack-O-Lantern head stood in front of them. The new Digimon then introduced itself. Ello mates I am Noble Pumpkinmon at your service! Umm, hello Willis replied. I'm umm, Wil.. Willis! Noble Pumpkinmon interrupted Willis as Willis was just about to announce his name. Umm yeah, how did you know my name..? Willis asked being very confused. Your the digi destined who's Digimon was infected with a virus! Willis just stood in place with a look of semi shock while becoming even more confused. How do know that!? Willis asked with demanding force. Because my master Coca told me about you Willis, Noble Pumpkinmon answered with his hands slightly raised. Your master Coca..? Willis asked. Yes he is the Digimon God, Noble Pumpkinmon said aloud. Digimon God!? Willis and his twin Digimon said all at once looking very shocked. Yes and he's right here, Noble Pumpkinmon pointed at an older looking gentlemen wearing glassses and dressed in a sharp looking burgundy suit with a silver tie. Coca then presented to Willis what appeared to be an all white D-3 digivice. Willis then said with great shock NO DIGITAL WAY! Hello Willis my name is Coca and I am the Digimon God who created what is now known to you digi destined as Homeostasis, Coca said. I have some very bad news to tell you…
