Chapter 2 His Name Starts With D, & He Wears Goggles Too!

Davis! Davis! Davis! DAVIS GET UP YOU MORON! Your going to be late for school yet again! Davis's sister Jun yelled while pounding furiously on his bedroom door. I'm not feeling so well Davis said with ache in his voice… Oh come on not that fake I'm sick again crap! Jun replied with anger. I'm not faking it Davis told Jun. Come in and look in my waste basket there's puke in it! EWW! Jun said disgusted with mild shock! Come on, take a good look in it and smell that stank in there! Davis said bluntly. EWW! GROSS! Jun said while running away from Davis's Bedroom door. Well fine I'm going to tell mom you can't go to school because your sick and gross! Jun yelled. See Veemon, worked like a charm Davis said to Veemon. Did you really have to add the that she had to smell your puke..? Veemon said while laughing. Duh! Davis replied with joking serious eyes. Davis and Veemon both got out from underneath the covers and the both of them stretched their arms. Well first things first, I have to check my email on my computer Davis said. Me and Willis have been making sure to keep in contact with each other ever since we met back in the U.S. Davis said to his Digimon Veemon. WELL LOOK HERE! Davis said with big excitement. I have mail from Willis he said while pointing to his PC monitor. Let's see here, "Hey Davis how's it going in Japan? I plan I coming and staying there long term with My Aunt and Uncle…" Davis reads out loud. "and I have some terrifying news concerning the digital world and our world that is linked to those strange glowing large purple clouds appearing all over the world…" Davis continued on reading out loud. OH MY DIGIMON! Davis said with absolute shock in his voice. What is it? Veemon asked curiously. Willis met THE Digimon God! The one who created Homeostasis, the one who created the Digital World! Davis said to Veemon with big eyes.

You mean Willis met my digi daddy!? Veemon said to Davis with his jaw dropped. Davis then face palmed himself to what Veemon said. Yeah I guess you could put it that way Davis said with a short laugh. In Willis's email he said the Digimon God is actually human and is the very first single digi destined and his name Coca, Davis said to Veemon. Coca..? Veemon said with look of confusion. Sounds like a soda pop! Veemon said with a smile. So is Coca is the very first single digi destined, that means he has a Digimon partner right!? Veemon asked Davis with delight. Yes, in the email Willis says Coca's Digimon is Pumpkinmon! Davis said with amusement. Apparently he stays in his ultimate level then digivolves to his mega level, Noble Pumpkinmon! Davis said to Veemon loudly. Willis and both of his Digimon fought Neo Devimon when he was on vacation in Denver, then Noble Pumpkinmon showed up out of no where and made this finishing blow! Davis told Veemon with grand joy. Also Coca told Willis that those strange purple glowing clouds that have been appearing all over the world are actually something sinister that came from Daemon! Davis said with shock and deep anger! He may have been sent to the deep depths of the Dark Ocean but that didn't stop him from coming back… Did Willis's email say anything else Veemon asked Davis. Yes, Willis said that there is something that we digi destined need to hear from Coca but it's too long for him to write in an email. He said it's better heard in person, so Coca is coming along with Willis to Japan. Davis said with a semi panicked voice. But Willis did say that we digi destined should keep an eyes on those strange clouds from now on here in Japan, Willis said that Neo Devimon came from the cloud over Denver. Davis told Veemon. An when Noble Pumpkinmon destroyed him, the cloud just suddenly disappeared…. Davis said with slight amazement. So those purple glowing clouds are some sort of digital rifts, Veemon said to Davis. Davis then looked at Veemon with a baffling look on his face. You've been secretly listening and learning from Izzy the times when I leave you at his place haven't you!? Davis yelled to Veemon. Well, when there's nothing else to do but listen to him talk while he's on his computer I couldn't help but listen to his digi chat, Veemon said laughing. That is true.. Davis replied with very sure agreement.

Speaking of the Iz Master, I should call him and tell him all the intel that Willis emailed me, Davis said. I'm sure Izzy would be able to analyze something about those clouds with his wonderful knowledge, maybe he could track when a Digimon is about to be released from those purple clouds!? Davis exclaimed. Davis then quickly picked up the phone, called Izzy, and told Izzy all the news from Willis's email. Well that's, that, Davis said hanging up the phone. Now its time we get something to eat this morning Veemon! Davis said to Veemon with a burning look of happiness. That sounds digi darn good, Veemon said with the same burning look of happiness. It looks like mom and dad are gone so now we have the kitchen to ourselves! Davis said aloud. Davis and Veemon both then looked in the fridge for for something filling to eat. Now let's see what can we have to eat for breakfast, Davis said. Yummy, look Davis eggs! Veemon said with excitment! Hmm, you thinking what I'm thinking Veemon!? Davis said with more excitement. Yup, egg rice with some spice! Veemon said loudly with a big smile. Veemon then helped Davis in the kitchen make the Japanese comfort food, tamago gohan and then both sat down to eat their egg rice at the table. Hey Veemon I was thinking we should get the whole gang back together, Davis said with his mouth full of egg rice. Veemon nodded in agreement while chowing down his bowl of egg rice. For some reason I have this unsettling feeling that these purple clouds have something to do with not only because of Daemon, but with us digi destined, Davis said with a look of uneasines… What kind of unsettling feeling..? Veemon asked with worry. It's like a heavy sadness layered with anger, that's the best way I can describe it Davis answered. Well your right Davis we should get the gang back together again! Veemon said with great confidence. If that feeling your feeling feels like that, then it's must be something of great digi evil, Veemon said wisely. Davis then looked at Veemon with happy eyes and said, Veemon you know you sure have gotten so much more mature over the year! Veemon looked at Davis and said out loud, thanks Davis now if only I could say the same about you, for digi sakes take a shower you have two day gym class stink! Davis then sniffed under is armpits and said, AH! I FORGOT AGAIN!?

Later that day Davis and Veemon walked to Ken's house to meet up with the other gen two kids after their classes were finished. Hey Yolei! Hey Cody, T.K., Ken, and hello my little sugar and spice Kari! Davis said as he ran up to the their other digi destined. What was that Davis… Kari said annoyed. Umm, uh, I was just joking! Davis said nervously. Like you were joking the previous days you called me sugar and spice! Kari said with half anger. Davis stood there in fear as Ken, Yolei, and Cody stood looking scared for Davis. REALLY I WAS JOKING KARI! No harm at poking fun at a friend right!? Kari the other kids start started laughing at Davis. We got you again Davis haha jokes on you! Kari said hugging Davis. Oh you guys are real pranksters Davis yelled with slight anger. HAHAHA very funny but I have VERY important news about those glowing purple clouds all over the world! Davis said with a seriousness tonality. REALLY what is it Yolei asked with deep worry. While in Ken's bedroom Davis told the others, I got an email from Willis and you guys are NEVER going to believe what happened when he was on vacation in Denver Colorado! Davis told the other kids loudly. Davis then explained the information to the other kids that he got from Willis, and the other kids were in complete shock with the news of Daemon and the Digimon God, Coca. Thats really amazing Ken said, yeah that's incredible Cody added. So those clouds are basically portals created from Daemon! Yolei said with anger. Well wish I could say I was surprised but I'm not Kari said. Why is that? Ken asked Kari. Kari then paused for a bit and then answered, I received a virtual message from Coca, three months after we defeated Malomyotismon… And you kept that a secret from us! T.K. Said to Kari very upset. I'm sorry you guys, Coca said to keep it private for a while and when the time came to let the other digi destined know, Kari said with teary eyes…. But why did Coca want you to keep it a secret for so long!? We're already in the new year Kari, Cody said with mild anger…. Kari then replied quickly, Coca said to keep the virtual message between me and him a secret because there are "certain people" around who might listen and sabotage our digi destined troop group if his info was not said in private! Ken that's why I said we should meet at your house Kari said, Coca said that when I got the "feeling" to contact you and have us meet at your house. I got the "feeling" this morning Kari said to the others. Is that why you said to leave out Davis? T.k. Asked. Yes, that's why Kari replied sweetly, I already knew he would be on his way because Coca told me he would visit Willis and Willis would contact Davis, thus setting things in motion… OH! All the other kids said to Kari at once. So T.K., Cody, are you guys still mad at me..? No not anymore, Cody and T.K. said one after the other. Meow! Somethings coming! Gatomon said with great surprise. BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Yolei your digivice is chirping! Hawkmon said loudly. Yeah mine is too said Ken, so is mine Cody exclaimed. So is mine and Kari's! T.K. said.

They're coming! Kari said with happiness. Who? The other kids and their Digimon said at once. Coca and Willis Kari replied, WHAT!? T.K. said aloud. Stand back from Ken's PC everyone! Kari said with command. A bright beaming light then came from Ken's computer monitor, and five body silhouettes appeared from the screen! Here they come! Kari said. The five body silhouettes then got bigger, and then, Coca, Pumpkinmon, Willis and his twin Digimon beamed through Ken's PC monitor and landed inside Ken's bedroom! Well hey there my Japanese digi destined! Willis said in announcement, looks like I'm here early Willis said laughing. WILLIS! All kids and Digimon said with grand excitement. Howdy there Colorado boy, Armadillomon said to Willis with a smile. I thought you weren't coming to until this summer! Davis said. Yeah well change of digi plans Willis said while chuckling. Coca has a D-3 digivice so we were able to travel through the net to you guys, said Willis. So your Coca, the Digimon God! Ken said to Coca quickly. Yes, that I am Coca replied swiftly. And you are Ken Ichijouji, the ex Digimon Emperor! I take it you must know about all of us huh… Ken said with embarrassment. Coca then pointed a gun finger gesture at Ken and winked with a smirk. So excuse me Mr. Coca sir, why are you here and what is going on with Daemon and those large purple glowing clouds!? T.K. asked with demand. Yes,what on earth is going on? Yolei asked. Well I think you all better sit down for this because it's a long story… Coca said in a very calm voice. Oh I love stories! Wormmon said with delight, me too Pumpkinmon said happily. Alright Digimon and digi destined, have you all heard of the "Unspoken Ones"? Coca asked the group. All the kids and Digimon's heads shook no. Well then, they are the Dark Digi Destined! Dark Digi Destined!? The kids and their Digimon all said at once. Yes, there are seven of them, Coca said. Do they have Digimon..? Cody asked. Yes they do and they are the Seven Great Demon Lords, you already met the first one Daemon. The rest are Lillithmon, Leviamon, Barbamon, Beelzemon, Belphemon, and Lucemon. So what do they have to do with all these strange clouds..? Yolei asked. Everything, but the clouds are Daemon's doing and is being orchestrated by The Dark Digi Destined, Coca answered.

Okay then, let's find them and take care of this mess! Cody said while fired up and ready for action. I agree Armadillomon said after. It's not that simple, The Dark Digi Destined are mere data… Coca said. WHAT…? But how can that possibly be…? Ken said very surprised. It's all my doing from a experiment I conducted years ago when I created the digital world, Coca said with sadness… What do you mean? T.K. asked. Years ago, I worked at a school for the academically gifted, you might have heard the name of it, Do, Re, Mi, So, Academy. I'VE HEARD OF THAT SCHOOL! It's near Akihabara, Yolei said aloud. Me too Ken added, supposedly it's haunted. Yes the school was shut down years ago, Coca said. Yeah because of a huge fire correct? Yolei said. Yes, and it was because of my experiment, Coca said. What experiment..? Patamon asked with a curious cute voice. A digital tethering device that linked people's subconscious to the internet, it was a medical scientific experiment to help bring people out of comatose, but it failed miserably, Coca described. You see there was a VERY gifted student who attended Do, Re, Mi, So, her name was Kurayami Yamaguchi, and she was so nice and loving to everyone… Coca said while tearing up. What happened to Kurayami…? Kari asked Coca while putting her hand on his shoulder. One day Kurayami was riding her bike to school like she did everyday, she went down this hill road and when she got to the end of the road a car came out of nowhere and struck her! Coca said sobbing… Kari, the other kids and their Digimon then started crying. She was taken to the hospital and was in a coma, she was in a coma for almost three months, her parents visited her everyday hoping she would wake up but to no avail she never woke, Coca explained. With my computer knowledge and with the permission of the doctors and Kurayam's parents, I linked her subconscious to my digital world the digital world you now all know, Coca said. It was the first time using my tethering device on someone in a coma, my goal was to create a twitch in her brain to wake her up, said Coca.

We didn't know at the time, but a very malicious virus was spreading on the internet and it infiltrated Kurayami's digital subconscious and corrupted it! Coca said with anger. The virus caused her digital subconscious to split into seven evil personalities, Coca explained. The Dark Digi Destined… Yolei said while looking at Coca with sympathetic eyes. Kurayami is one them isn't she Yolei asked with sadness. Yes, that's correct Coca replied. The virus made the "Unspoken Ones" the virus also copied digi egg data and made seven dark digi eggs for the "Unspoken Ones", the left over data from the virus then transfigured itself and became the Dark Ocean. That's where you come in Ken, Coca said while looking at Ken. What do you mean..? Ken asked with confusion. You see the dark digi destined as well as their dark digi eggs were left in a dormant digital state for years and years. The very moment when you placed you're digivice into the Dark Ocean with you're emotions of hate, anger, and sadness and it morphed into you're black D-3, an activation signal was in inadvertently sent to the Dark Digi Destined and the their dark digi eggs, the Dark Ocean is a part of the virus, that's why your digivice morphed into a black D-3, it also copied your digivice data and created and sent seven copies of you're black D-3 to the Dark Digi Destined for their Digimon! Coca explained to Ken. But don't don't beat yourself up over it Ken, me and you couldn't have known what you were going to do with you're digivice the time. You guys, the Dark Ocean is a virus digital dimension within the digital world itself! Willis exclaimed. That's, right the "Unspoken Ones" dwell in the dark realm of the Dark Ocean, said Coca. Excuse me Coca, T.K. interrupted, but Kari mentioned that there were "certain people" who might try to sabotage our group… Yes, who are these certain people Gatomon asked. Thought you would bring that up, Coca said smiling. They are advanced human looking androids that work for Daemon's Daemon Corp. They could be be anywhere so be careful! Coca said with great admonish. But how did Daemon create those androids..? Cody asked with fascination. With the help of Datamon! Coca said aloud. Wait.. Datamon..? T.K. said with a gasp. When I was little me and the older digi destined defeated him way back when, T.K. said.

Datamon helped develop the human looking androids, they have been on the loose in Tokyo listening for any info on you digi destined, said Coca. They have been infected the the virus that the "Unspoken Ones" are made out of, and they are programmed to kill the digi destined! Coca said with fear. The digi destined and their Digimon all had a look of great shock on their faces when hearing that from Coca. Daemon sent them to your world in Tokyo with the help of the virus Kurayami and an evil Digimon named Dragomon! Coca exclaimed. Dragomon is the sentry of the Dark Ocean, and he guards the digital portal that leads to the dimension where the Dark Digi Destined dwell, Coca said. Then let's take him out! Veemon said out loud. Yeah he's no match for us! Davis added. It's not that simple, said Coca. There is a Digimon army that protects Dragoman, Coca said with his hand in a stop gesture, and they are both ultimate and mega level virus Digimon, Coca said. It's going to take the whole group of you kids and by that I mean your brother Tai, Kari, and your brother Matt, T.K. As well as the other older digi destined, Izzy, Joe, Sora, and of course Mimi! You can't forget little Mimi now can ya!? Coca said laughing. How can forget her, that girl just loves to talk… T.K. said jokingly. Alright then it's settled! Said Cody. Everyone then looked at Cody with surprise. Come on you guys we have to get our digi team back together again to stop the Dark Digi Destined and those purple clouds! Cody ordered. Everyone nodded in agreement with what Cody announced. That's why you also got the digi egg of reliability! Coca said with spark in his eyes while shaking Cody lovingly by his shoulders. Hey you guys this summer we can make a battle plan with the other digi destined at my Uncle Wallace an Aunt Eva's house here in Japan! Willis announced to the group. Excuse me, umm Willis, Ken said while a little shaky in his voice. I don't believe we properly met Ken said with his hand out. I'm Ken Ichijouji, and this is my Digimon Wormon, as we say in Japanese, hajimemashite! It's nice to meet you too ex Digimon Emperor! Willis said chuckling. Umm, please don't call me or remind me of that thanks… Ken said with a embarrassed funny face.

Okay well Tai is busy with his soccer stuff, Kari said, yeah and Matt is busy with his band, Said T.K. Joe has been studying like crazy, Cody said. Sora has been busy helping her mother a lot recently, said Yolei. Izzy is doing the usual… Ken said laughing. And Mimi is in New York City baby! Willis said with a big smile. I met her and Palmon since I live there, she does karaoke at the teen club a lot! Willis said. OH THATS'S MIMI FOR YA! All the kids and Digimon said at once. Her and Michael have been hanging out a lot, said Willis. I met him too along with his Digimon Betamon! Willis exclaimed. Alright kids, take your time and gather the group together and let's meet at Willis's Uncle and Aunt's house next month and plan our infiltration into the Dark Ocean dimension! Coca said fired up. And be sure to stay on high alert for those human androids, they could be anywhere! Coca said. Also keep and eye out on those purple glowing clouds, we don't know when Daemon plans on sending another Digimon through one to wreak havoc again, Coca added. Now me and Willis are heading out, see you kids again later, Coca said. Nice meeting you Coca, take care you guys! Yolei said as Willis and Coca got ready to travel back through Ken's PC monitor. You were right about Davis he sure has a loud mouth on him…. Coca whispered to Willis as they were just starting to travel back through the net. Coca and Willis then traveled the net and Willis entered his Aunt and Uncle's house, and Coca went back to his American home back in the state of Michigan.
