The second The second Arizona realized who was standing in front of her she lost all ability to move or talk. All the things she thought about telling her father once she saw him, vanished the second she locked eyes with him.

The Colonel could see the shock written on his daughter's face and a smirk spread across his face making Arizona sicker than she was before.

Arizona never hated her father more than she did at this moment. After all this time he still had some control over her and she hated it. She spend all those years working on getting out of his control, on being stronger than him, and yet here he is. Corning her like the first time he broke her. Transforming her into a small and fragile little girl again.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my sweet daughter." He said sickly sweet while taking a few steps closer to Arizona.

The blonde was still frozen on her spot, images of what happened on similar parking six years ago running threw her head.

Daniel stopped a breath away from Arizona and the blonde could smell that her father had been drinking. Arizona cringed at the putrid smell, Daniel noticed and a somber look took over his face.

"What? Are you disgusted by your own father, Arizona?" He sneered. "Are you ashamed of your father?" He kept asking towering over her.

Arizona was trying as hard as she could to get over the paralyzing fear she was feeling in the pit of her stomach. All she wanted to do was punch the bastard in the face but she couldn't move.

"Look at what you did to your own father, Arizona. You ruined my life, because of you I lost everything. My son, my wife-"

"No!" Arizona finally burst out. The image of her dead brother and battered mother that came in her mind when her father mentioned them made Arizona snap out of it. He was the one who ruined everything not her. He beat her mother and he forced Tim and her to join the Marines. Everything was his fault. He was the one who ruined this family! "You fucking bastard, you destroyed your family on your own!"

"Shut up you bitch!" Daniel yelled. He raised his hand and hit Arizona right on the face. Surprised by it Arizona didn't get the chance to protect herself and the blow threw her on the ground. He was about to hit her again and Arizona instinctively closed her eyes getting herself ready for the hit. However the hit never came.

Arizona slowly opened her eyes and saw a tall figure standing in front of her. She could only see the back of the person and because of the dark didn't know who it was.

Mark headed into work, he knew he had to get ready at the hospital before going to Callie's. He took his time getting ready knowing that there was a chance that Teddy would be there too and he wanted to look his best. He wasn't in a hurry at all even if he knew he was late. It wasn't like anyone would notice his absence right away.

He was walking toward his car parked in the parking lot, getting ready to go when he heard someone yell. He immediately stood straight and took a look around the parking lot. What he saw froze his blood and made it boil.

He could see a man getting close to a woman who was on the floor. He immediately started running toward them and the closer he got the faster he ran. He recognized who needed help, which made him even more furious.

He couldn't believe what he was seeing. The man that was supposed to be Arizona's father. The man who was supposed to protect her, lover her, and cherish her was hovering over her ready to strike her all over again.

Before Daniel had the chance to hit his daughter again, Mark stepped between them, blocking Daniel's hit, hitting Daniel square in the face. He flew to the ground.

When Arizona realized who it was she released a sigh of relief before bursting into tears. She felt Mark kneel down next to her before taking her in his arms. Once Mark was sure Arizona was ok, he helped her stand up before taking his phone out and calling the police.

"Mommy! When is Arizona coming?" Sofia asked for the hundredth times making Callie want to go crazy.

"I don't know sweetie. I tried calling her but she is not answering. She must be held at the hospital." Arizona should've been here for hours ago. Callie was starting to get worried she wouldn't come at all. Barbara and Teddy were already here. They came a few hours ago and they didn't have any idea when Arizona would be coming.

Suddenly the doorbell rang making Callie released a sigh of relief and Sofia run for the door. However they were soon disappointed by who was at the door even though only one of them showed it.

At the door was Kate standing all awkward, even more so after seeing Sofia's reaction to her. Callie went to the door to greet her girlfriend? Ex-girlfriend? "Hi," Callie said. She wasn't expecting Kate to show up, but she was glad she did. "I didn't think you'll come but I'm glad you did." She added moving to the side letting the redhead come inside the house.

"Yeah, I didn't think i'll come either. I hope you don't mind." Kate said looking at her feet. All this was awkward and she missed the times where everything between her and Callie was anything but awkward. Seeing Callie just as uncomfortable as her made her regret coming at all tonight. All this was because Arizona managed to persuade her to come and looking around she realized that she wasn't even there.

"No! Not at all, I'm glad you came." Callie said awkwardly.

They stood there in front of the door, not talking and barely looking at each other. Anyone looking at them could see how awkward and tense the situation was. It was sad and heartbreaking. Callie barely managed to contain her sigh of relief when she heard Sofia call for her. She looked apologetically at Kate before practically running away.

They waited for Arizona as long as they could but she never came and they had to have dinner without her.

Carlos was mad, Sofia was sad and crying, Barbara was worried about her daughter who still didn't answer the phone. Callie, well Callie was trying to not show anything but anyone who knew her could see that she was on the verge of exploding.

Callie sighed, sitting down on the couch next to her mother. She just succeeded in putting Sofia to sleep after the little girl cried for hours. They all tried calling Arizona without any results. The woman was MIA.

Callie was being directed to voicemail once again, however she barely had the time to put down her phone when it started to ring. Without looking at who the caller was she immediately answered.

"Arizona?" She said out of breath.

The others were looking at her with hopefully eyes, especially Arizona's mom. However their hope changed in time with Callie's facial expressions, she had a grave look on her face and tears welling up in her eyes.

Callie just nodded to what the other person on the line was saying and then hung up the phone. She turned toward her guests.

"Uhm, it was Mark..." she started hesitantly, "Something happened to Arizona, I need to go." She barely finished her sentence. She was already out of the door not letting time for anyone to question her about what happened and if the blonde was ok.

Barbara was sitting down with shock and worry written all over her face. —

The second Callie hung up the phone she took her car keys and ran out of the door leaving all her guests with their mouth open and eyes wide open, wondering what the heck was happening.

Callie arrived at the hospital at record time, running few red lights and going over the speed limit has its perks. When she finally arrived, she found Mark pacing in the hallway.

"Where is she?" She asked Mark. He just had the time to point to the room in front of them before Callie was barging in.

She found Arizona sitting on a consultation table, answering a police officer questions while a doctor she didn't know was doing a check up. The second Callie saw that Arizona was fine and the blonde made eye contact with her, she started shaking and it was taking everything she had in her not to fall to the ground a sobbing mess.

Arizona could she that Callie was struggling, and the second she did she politely dismissed the police officer and the doctor. Once they were alone, Arizona slowly rose off the table, a little in pain, before cautiously walking towards where Callie was standing. Callie had her head down and Arizona couldn't see the brunette's face, she only could see her shaking. She kept getting closer to her until she was a few inches away. Arizona was about to take another step closer to Callie when the brunette lifted her head and jumped on Arizona taking her in her arms before falling apart.

All the emotion she has been holding back since -she didn't even remember since when- came flooding out. All the stress, anger, sadness, and worry she felt today. She managed to push them away all throughout the day, came crashing back on her all at once, leaving Callie at the mercy of her feelings.

Arizona didn't know what to do or say, so she just held Callie close to her and whispered that everything would be okay over and over.
